Abstract

3D animation movie titled "Handban Keberuntungan" is one of the animated film that contains educational and moral messages to spectators, where the film teache that people appreciate more effort than simply believe in the things that bring good luck, because luck will come if we want to try. The research method or design of 3-D animated film "Handban Keberuntungan" is using the Block diagram method. Where in the Block Diagram describes the steps of making 3-D animated film "Handban keberuntungan" from start to finish. In the block diagram step is divided into three (3) main phases: 1) PreProduction (Idea Story, Scriptwriting, Set the Output Format, Character Design, Image Design Support and Making the Storyboard), 2) Production (Modelling, Texturing, Rigging, Skinning, Acting / Animation, Lighting, and Rendering), 3) Post Production (Recording and Merger Process). The final result is 3-D animation film in DVD format. With hope this film can be used as media for learning both from young people and children. Also, it can introduce the technology of 3-D animated film so that can provide new knowledge for the spectators.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk : (1) mengimplementasikan Aransemen Musik dan Video Profil Pendidikan Teknik Informatika (2) mengetahui respon pengguna terhadap Aransemen Musik dan Video Profil Pendidikan Teknik Informatika. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan. Aransemen Musik dan Video Klip Lagu Profil Jurusan Pendidikan Teknik Informatika ini dikembangkan dengan model Block Diagram. Aplikasi ini diimplementasikan menggunakan Presonus Studio One sebagai pembuat aransemen lagu serta Pinnacle Version 14 sebagai pembuat video dengan bantuan Adobe After Effect sebagai penambah efek video. Pemanfaatan aplikasi pembuat musik dan video dari dampak kemajuan teknologi menyebabkan para remaja atau anak muda mampu berkreasi dalam mengaransemen serta mengolah video dengan berbagai efek sesuai kemampuan dan keinginan sehingga musik dan video dapat dijadikan berbagai sarana yang vital dalam berbagai media promosi. Oleh karena itu, penulis akan mengembangkan media promosi melalui produk berjudul “Pengembangan Media Promosi Berbasis Aransemen Musik dan Video Profil Jurusan Pendidikan Teknik Informatika”. Dengan dikembangkannya aransemen dan video profil ini, diharapkan Jurusan Pendidikan Teknik Informatika lebih dikenal oleh masyarakat luas, serta dapat dijadikan sebuah media pembelajaran tentang pembuatan aransemen dan video. Hasil akhir aransemen Musik dan Video Klip Lagu Profil Jurusan Pendidikan Teknik Informatika adalah pengguna dapat mendengarkan langsung aransemen lagu Pendidikan Teknik Informatika serta melihat berbagai aktivitas maupun kegiatan, sarana dan prasarana Jurusan Pendidikan Teknik Informatika, Staf Dosen Pendidikan Teknik Informatika pada video profil. Respon pengguna terhadap pengembangan aransemen musik dan video profil Jurusan Pendidikan Teknik Informatika dapat dikategorikan sangat positif dengan persentase 89%.Kata Kunci : Kata kunci : Aransemen Musik, Video Klip, Promosi This research was aims to: (1) implement the Arrangement Music and Video Profile Information Engineering Education (2) finding out user’s response to the Arrangement Music and Video Profile Information Engineering Education. The method used is Research and Development. Arrangement Music and Video Clips Songs Profile Department of Information Engineering Education was by using developed Block Diagram Model. This application is implemented using a Presonus Studio One as a maker of arrangements of songs and Pinnacle Version 14 as the maker of the video with the help of Adobe After Effects as an addition to video effects. Utilization of music makers and video applications on the impact of advance tecnology led to the teenagers or young childs able to create music arrangement and video processing with various effects according to their ability and desires, so that music and video can be used as the vital tools in everything of media promotion. Therefore, the author developed a media campaign through product with titled "Development of Promotion Media Based Arrangement Music and Video Profile Department of Information Engineering Education". With the development of the arrangements and video profiles, it is expected the Department of Information Engineering Education to be better known by the public, and can be used as a medium of learning about arrangements music and video. The final result of the music arrangement and the video Clips Songs Profile Department of Information Engineering Education is the users can listen to the songs arrangement of Information Engineering Education directly as see the various activities of department programs, facilities and the infrastructure of the Education Department of Information Engineering, Lecturers, Staffs on the video profiles. Abstract

This research aims to develop an application that is used as a means to introduce Pura Luhur Batukaru to the local and international community, so as to attract them to know, learn, and even preserving Pura Luhur Batukaru.This research includes research and development methods. In developing these applications using the waterfall model to the system testing phase. This application uses libraries vuforia capable of displaying three-dimensional objects into a temple building a real environment with the help of books and Android smartphones. Mechanical testing of theseapplications is done by giving questionnaires to the respondents. Questionnaire was used to test the spesific object with marker, test how long the objects showing in outside and indoors, and test the suitability of applications on several different Android smartphones.The results of this research in the form of a book containing information and images markers (markers) associated Pura Luhur Batukaru well as Augmented Reality Book-based application that is capable of displaying android Pura Luhur Batukaru building objects in the form of 3 dimensional image just above the marker (marker) complete with sound narrative explanations in English. This application can be used as a medium to maintain, introduce, at the same time preserving the nation's cultural assets.

Abstract

Tingklik adalah alat musik tradisional Bali dan dimainkan dengan cara di pukul dengan panggul. Panggul adalah bambu/kayu yang diujungnya terdapat karet berbentuk lingkaran, tingklik terbuat dari bambu dan umumnya di mainkan oleh para petani di sawah mereka. Suling adalah alat musik tradisional Bali yang sering dimainkan bersamaan dengan tingklik, suling terbuat dari bambu dan dimainkan dengan cara ditiup. Seiring berjalannya waktu kedua alat musik tradisional itu makin dilupakan karena tergeser oleh adanya alat musik modern. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) merancang aplikasi game simulasi tingklik dan suling Bali berbasis android; (2) mengimplementasikan rancangan aplikasi game simulasi tingklik dan suling Bali berbasis android. Aplikasi game ini dikembangkan di mobile phone android dengan menggunkan metode Waterfall dan diimplementasikan dalam bahasa pemrograman Java dengan menggunakan editor Eclipse Indigo. Pada aplikasi ini terdapat dua permainan, yaitu tingklik dan suling. Dengan adanya aplikasi ini diharapkan para pengguna smartphone android akan tahu tentang alat musik tradisional tingklik dan suling Bali, sehingga dapat memicu minat terhadap alat musik tingklik dan suling Bali.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine whether there were differences in Information Communication Technology (ICT) learning outcomes between the groups of students who were taught by using Questions Students Have learning methods and a group of students who were taught by using conventional methods. This was a quasi-experimental study and the non equivalent post- test only control group was used as the design. The population of this study was the entire students of SMP Negeri 1 Sukasada in the academic year of 2012/2013. The total sample used in this study was 67 students. These samples were taken from VIII.H class as the experimental group and VIII.G class as the control group. The data of students’ learning outcome was collected using a multiple-choice test method for measuring the cognitive, and then it was analyzed by conducting precondition test which included normality test and homogeneity test, t-test. Based on the data analysis, the result of normality and homogeneity test of both group are having normal and homogeneous distribution. There is a significant effect of learning outcomes between students who were taught by using Questions Students Have learning methods and a group of students who were taught by  using conventional methods. The mean score of students who are taught by using conventional learning method is 26.63 with a standard deviation of 3.63 and the mean score of students who are taught by using Questions Students Have learning methods is 32.88 with a standard deviation of 3.84. This shows that the students who are taught by using Questions Students Have learning methods have higher learning outcomes than conventional learning methods.

Abstract

Changes due to the influence of human activity more modern era, requiring to leave the house more often. Such a situation is often the target of crime. This study aims to develop a software that can be used as a home security system that is used to monitoring the situation around by a camera equipped with the ability to detect the presence of motion by applying spatial domain method. The methods of spatial domain itself is a method used to examine and analyze the differences between the point processing images with image references comparator continuously captured by the camera. In the spatial domain methods, there are three main processes, namely the determination of a reference image, making the image periodically, and make comparisons between image references with comparable image by comparing each pixel that is in the same location. The applications of Surveillance Camera System is developed by using the Java programming language editor of NetBeans IDE 7.3, and JMF 2.1.1e and SMSLib-v3.5.3 library. Whenever the application detects a movement, then the application will automatically perform the recording directly into the form of a video and then uploaded to the internet so that users can directly access wherever they are, Surveillance Camera System software will be more efficient in terms of storage requirements for each time motion recording process. Furthermore, the application will notify the user via message feature. Motion detection by application Surveillance Camera System can detect human movement is 100% stable on lighting conditions is the level of detection sensitivity is set at 20.

Abstract

Anak-anak usia sekolah cenderung memiliki pengetahuan yang minim mengenai bagaimana mencuci tangan dengan benar. Padahal, tangan merupakan salah satu bagian tubuh yang paling rentan mengandung kuman dan bakteri karena dipakai untuk menyentuh dan memegang benda. Menimbang pentingnya kesadaran dan pengetahuan mengenai cara mencuci tangan yang benar, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan film animasi 3 dimensi yang mampu mengenalkan budaya cuci tangan yang baik kepada anak-anak usia sekolah. Dengan demikian, Film Animasi 3 Dimensi - Tude the Movie Pentingnya Mencuci Tangan Yang Benar pun dikembangkan dengan jenis penelitian Research & Development (R&D). Metode Multimedia Development Life Cycle digunakan dalam proses pengembangan film animasi yang terdiri dari 6 tahapan, yaitu concept, design, material collecting, assembly, testing, dan distribution. Guna menjamin kualitas dari konten dalam film animasi ini, beberapa pengujian pun dilakukan, di antaranya uji ahli isi yang mendapatkan hasil 100%, uji ahli media yang mendapatkan hasil 100%, serta uji respon pengguna yang dilakukan terhadap 50 responden anak usia sekolah yang mendapatkan hasil 98% sangat positif dan 2% positif. Dengan demikian, diperoleh hasil bahwa film animasi ini memeroleh respon yang sangat baik dari responden.Kata Kunci—animasi 3 dimensi, cara mencuci tangan

Abstract

Pupuh is one of the four types of songs that exist in Bali. Pupuh is used to express advices, stories of heroism and feelings that usually shown on dramatari which is developedin Bali such as drama gong, arja and Bondres. This Media Belajar Pupuh Berbasis Android is a learning media pupuh with an Android device. This research aims to design andimplement application design Media Belajar Pupuh Berbasis Android.Development of the Media Belajar Pupuh Berbasis Android is using the software development life cycle SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) with the waterfall model.Features in this application are intended as a learning pupuh for users with an Androiddevice. The features of this application are the theory of pupuh, uger-uger of pupuh, tunings of pupuh, songs of pupuh and recordings of the user.The result of this research is the design and implementation of the Media BelajarPupuh Berbasis Android that has been successfully carried out. The design is done by using a functional model of the UML (Unified Modeling Language). Implemented in Javaprogramming language using the Eclipse editor and ADT (Android Development Tools) plug- ins, and also using AndEngine as additional libraries. The entire functional requirementshave been successfully implemented in accordance with the design.

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengimplementasikan hasil rancangan aplikasi Markerless Augmented Reality Balinese Story “Calon Arang”. Pengembangan aplikasi ini bertujuan untuk melestarikan salah satu cerita rakyat yang berasal dari Bali, yaitu Calon Arang.Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (research and development), untuk mengembangkan aplikasi Markerless Augmented Reality Balinese Story “Calon Arang”. Model yang digunakan dalam membangun teknologi ini adalah Model ADDIE. Pada model ini memberikan kesempatan untuk melakukan evaluasi dan revisi secara terus menerus dalam setiap fase yang dilalui, sehingga produk yang dihasilkan menjadi produk yang valid. Adapun 5 tahapan dalam model ADDIE ini adalah Analysis (analisis), Design (desain), Development (pengembangan), Implementation (implementasi), dan Evaluation (evaluasi).Hasil akhir dari projek ini adalah berupa aplikasi yang berisikan tentang cerita calon arang berbasis augmented reality yang dapat diinstal pada smartphone android. Aplikasi ini mampu menampilkan animasi dalam bentuk 3 dimensi beserta narasinya dalam bahasa Indonesia dan bahasa Inggris. Hasil pengujian dari respon pengguna setelah menggunakan aplikasi menyatakan, aplikasi Markerless Augmented Reality Balinese Story “Calon Arang” sangat menarik dan dapat digunakan untuk melestarikan budaya Bali dengan presentase penilaian 86.66% yaitu sangat baik. Sehingga aplikasi ini dapat dijadikan sebagai media untuk memperkenalkan sekaligus melestarikan kebudayaan. Kata kunci: Cerita Rakyat, Calon Arang, Markerless Augmented Reality, 3 Dimensi, Android AbstractThis research aimed at designing and implementing the result of Markerless Augmented Reality Balinese Story “Calon Arang” application. The objective of this development was to preserve one of the Balinese story, namely Calon Arang.The method used was research and development, for developing the application of Markerless Augmented Reality Balinese Story “Calon Arang”. ADDIE model was used as the model in this research. This model gives opportunities to do evaluation and revision in each phase. Therefore it will produce valid product. There are 5 steps in ADDIE model, such as: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation.The result of this project was in the form of application which contain calon arang story based on augmented reality which can be installed on android smartphone. This application is able to show picturein the format three dimension and it narration in Indonesia and English. Testing result of the user response after using the application said, markerless augmented reality Balinese story “calon arang” application is very interesting and can be used to preserve the Balinese culture with a percentage vote 86.66% said it is very good. Abstract

Balinese Barong is one of the most famous culture items in bali, even so,many Balinese do not know that there are many kinds of barong in Bali. That is caused by people's interest on learning barong as Balinese culture is low. One factor that caused this phenomenon is because of technology development. The purpose of this research is to design and implement applications that can be used as a medium for learning and introduce Balinese Barong with more interactive and attractive by utilizing technology. The research method used is the research and development, to develop Augmented Reality applications Book introduction Balinese Barong, using the waterfall model to the system testing phase. This application uses a library that is able to play sound vuforia explanation and featuring Balinese Barong 3D objects into a real environment with the help of books and android smartphones. The results of this research is a book that contains information and images related to the Balinese Barong and also functioned as a marker of Book-based Augmented Reality applications android capable of displaying objects in the form of Barong Bali just above the 3 dimensional marker complete with voice narration explanation. This application can be used as a medium to introduce and preserve the national culture
