Abstract

The purpose of the research is to produce a product in the form of a valid and reliable measuring instrument for student numeracy that can be used in schools and in the general public. The research stages will be carried out based on the test development design, namely Preparing Test Specifications, Preparing Test Items, Testing Test Items in the Field, Revision of Test Items, and Test Development. The question grid is based on the 2013 curriculum syllabus. The test was conducted on elementary school students. The response of the test results in the form of dichotomous data and analyzed using the item response theory (IRT) model with two logistical parameters (2PL), namely the level of item difficulty and item discriminating power. Estimation of item parameters and capability parameters using the BILOG MG program. Before doing item analysis with IRT. The results of the study contained 18 items that could be used to measure students' numeracy skills. Among these items are numbered questions 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, and 18. meet the criteria of a good item including having a good difficulty level, then the distinguishing power of the item functions well and has good validity and reliability.

Abstract

The digital era is a time when technological developments occur in all parts of the world. As a society that lives in this digital era, we should fallow the current technological developments that we feel. Utilizing technology to solve the problems in the world of education is a wise action. One of the uses of technology in education is to use creative learning video media based on computer technology using the powtoon aplication. The purpose of this research is to develop creative learning video media. The method used is the research and development method in class V SD Negeri 84 Kendari, using the DDD- E method. The data analysis technique used the analysis technique of validation result and the analysis technique of the questionnaire responses of teachers and students. It can be concluded that this creative learning video media MeJiKuHiBiNiUn feasible to be use in the learning process in the fifth grade of elementary school.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine students' basic algebraic abilities based on the analysis of the items (items) and the analysis of students' abilities (person) using the Rasch modeling. The instrument used was a test instrument in the form of multiple choices about algebraic material. This test was given to 662 students of class VIII and IX at SMP Negeri 5 Kendari. Data analysis was performed by RASCH modeling using the Winstep application.The results of the person analysis stated that the overall ability of the students was greater than the difficulty level of the questions. The basic Algebra ability possessed by all students are higher than the difficulty level of all the algebra questions tested. This shows that the consistency of students' answers in solving multiple choice questions on algebraic material according to the level of difficulty is strong or good, but the quality of the items used in collecting data on students' algebraic abilities is of moderate quality.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of role-playing methods on the Civics learning outcomes of students using role-playing methods in the Civics subject at Elementary School 102 Kendari. The subjects of this study were 18 students of class IV. The study's results indicated an improvement in student learning outcomes as the pretest results showed a total of 995 with an average score of 55.11, a minimum score of 33, and a maximum score of 73. Meanwhile, the posttest results showed a total of 1521 with an average score of 84.5, a minimum score of 66, and a maximum score of 100. The conclusion from this study is that the students' learning outcomes improved.

Abstract

This study aims to produce a product in the form of pop-up book-based learning media on Indonesian language subjects as a supporter of the learning process. The type of research used is R&D, namely research that develops a product. The development of a learning media uses the ADDIE learning system model consisting of: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The subjects of the study were 16 students of class III Negeri 02 Ameroro. Data collection techniques were carried out by validity testing and practicality testing. The results of the validity test study showed that the results of the material expert validator obtained a percentage of 93% by showing a very valid category, the media expert validator obtained a percentage of 91% by showing a very valid category, and the language expert validator obtained a percentage of 85% by showing a valid category. The assessment of the practicality of the media from the teacher obtained a presentation of 96% with a very practical category and the assessment of the effectiveness of the media through students obtained from the trial obtained a percentage of 81.4% with an effective category.

Abstract

The Merdeka Belajar Curriculum is one of the initiatives of the Indonesian Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology to provide more freedom and autonomy to educational units and teachers in the learning process. However, its implementation in Elementary Schools (SD) presents various complex challenges, especially in terms of teacher readiness, availability of facilities, and understanding of the essence of the curriculum itself. This literature study aims to identify the various challenges faced by elementary school teachers in implementing the Merdeka Belajar Curriculum and summarize the strategies that have been implemented to overcome them. This study uses a qualitative method with a literature study approach from various current academic sources, both relevant national and international journals. The results of the study show that the main challenges lie in the aspects of teacher competence, adaptation to digital technology, differentiated learning planning, and strengthening formative assessments. The strategies that emerge include ongoing training, strengthening teacher learning communities, collaboration between stakeholders, and the preparation of flexible and contextual teaching tools. This study concludes that the success of the Merdeka Belajar Curriculum implementation is highly dependent on the synergy between teachers, principals, education offices, and central policies. Systematic and sustainable support is needed to improve teacher capacity in carrying out meaningful educational transformation

Abstract

Social Studies (IPS) education in elementary schools plays a vital role in shaping students’ social awareness and critical thinking skills. However, traditional teaching methods often fail to engage students, leading to low interest in the subject. This study reviews innovative strategies in IPS learning, including project-based learning, technology integration, and interactive media.The findings indicate that project-based learning enhances students’ understanding by linking concepts to real-world applications. The use of technology, such as digital media and simulations, makes learning more engaging, while interactive media like animations and digital books cater to different learning styles. These strategies not only improve comprehension but also foster active participation and motivation among students. Implementing innovative approaches in IPS education can significantly enhance learning outcomes. Further research is needed to assess the long-term impact of these strategies in different educational settings.
