The method used in this research is an experimental method with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The population in this study were 30 students of class VI at SDN Biru II using a systematic sampling technique. This study aimed to determine how much influence the play-jumping approach had on increasing the Physical Literacy of elementary school children. The method was to provide treatment for 12 meetings and use a questionnaire on motivation, self-confidence, physical competence, knowledge, and understanding of student learning. Data analysis techniques used the Normality Test and one sample t-test. All calculations were calculated using a software application. IBM SPSS stats 18. Based on the Determination test or R Square from the pre-test to the post-test results, it has a significant effect on the implementation of physical literacy activities that has a good influence on children's physical literacy. The results showed that the game-jumping learning approach positively increased students' physical literacy in physical education learning.

Abstract

Physical Education has one goal to develop social behavior; the age at primary school is very vulnerable to developing social behavior. So this study aims to analyze the social behavior of grade IV students during the physical education learning process during the transition period of the Covid-19 pandemic. This study used a descriptive qualitative phenomenological approach at SD Negeri Rancamulya with a sample of physical education teachers, principals, and all fourth-grade students. Data collection techniques used in-depth interviews, passive participatory observation, documentation, and data analysis using a network analysis model and data validity based on data triangulation. The study results show that social behavior is seen during physical education, such as; ridicule/disturbing, fighting/fighting, lack of respect/respect, and saying rude/dirty words. Almost all of the social behavior that occurred was negative due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic; this can be used as material for evaluating teachers in improving better learning and emphasizing the inculcation of character education in Physical Education learning in the transition period and the importance of parental attention to children.

Abstract

The modern tennis games is characterized by an emphasis on quickness and strength. Rapid and multidirectional changes in the ball’s speed necessitate a high level of agility. This study aimed to determine the impact of hexagon drill training on the agility of male junior tennis players. This research is a quantitative type with experimental methods. The research design uses a one group pre-test and post-test design. The population in this study were junior male tennis players in Jawa Tengah with the sampling technique using purposive sampling. The characteristics of the sample determined by the researcher were male, athletes under 18 years of age, and practicing in the Jawa Tengah area. The number of samples used in the study was 40 people. Data analysis used the t-test by first carrying out the normality test and homogeneity test. The results of the data normality test in this study were 0.06 0.05 (0.06 greater than 0.05), which means that the data is normally distributed in the population frequency. The results of the homogeneity test in this study were 0.15 0.05 (0.15 greater than 0.05), which means the data is homogeneous. After the data is normally distributed and homogeneous, the researcher continues data processing, namely the t-test. The results of the t-test showed a significance value of 0.000 so it was less than 0.05 or 0.000 0.05 so there was a significant effect. The conclusion is that the hexagon drill exercise has an effect on increasing agility in junior men's tennis players in Central Java. Suggestions from researchers are that coaches can apply hexagon drill exercises to train junior tennis players under the age of 18 years.

Abstract

The number of open spaces and the population aged seven years and above are known to determine the ratio of open spaces to the Sports Development Index. This study used a survey method with a quantitative descriptive approach, using sports open spaces as research variables. The sampling technique was based on the Sports Development Index (SDI), namely the Multistage Random Sampling. The population of this study was residents of Tawangharjo Village, Tarub Village, and Godan Village. The availability of open sports spaces in the Tawangharjo sub-district, represented by 3 villages, namely Tawangharjo, Tarub, and Godan, is in a low category. The solution is to improve sports development in the open space aspect, namely by involving the government to improve the welfare of the people, such as by providing the most superior sports facilities in the region, including football, volleyball, martial arts, and jogging tracks. The role of the community can help develop sports development, such as cooperation in cleaning abandoned sports open spaces.
