Abstract

The teacher is the main foundation for implementing successful learning in delivering students to achieve their goals and aspirations. Teacher in learning does not only transfer knowledge but also transfers positive values that will equip students to live in society. The meaning of learning for teachers and students cannot be separated from the teacher's role as a motivator. Apart from having to have basic teaching skills, teachers are also required to have self-motivation in teaching. One of the efforts to train and improve basic teaching abilities and skills for student teacher candidates is through microteaching. This step is also an effort to increase the teaching motivation future teachers at educational universities, especially the State University of Malang. The purpose of this study is to determine the level of teaching motivation future teachers who have implemented microteaching, in terms of 2 indicators, namely intrinsic and extrinsic motivation. This research is a quantitative descriptive with 142 students from 8 faculties of education at Malang State University as subjects. The research instrument uses a closed questionnaire with a Likert scale that has been tested for validity, reliability, and normality. Data were analyzed descriptively to measure the level of teaching motivation future teachers at Malang State University. The results of the study show that the teaching motivation for future teacher students is mostly at a moderate level. While the percentage of intrinsic motivation is higher than the extrinsic motivation. So it can be concluded that microteaching activities have succeeded in growing future teachers' teaching motivation, especially on intrinsic motivation. The desire to succeed, the encouragement and need in teaching, as well as the hopes and aspirations for the future are the driving force behind teaching motivation for future teacher students at the State University of Malang.

Abstract

Abstract: At the end of the year, there is an abundance of reports because students tend to collect reports after the finance officer's deadline for reporting accountability (LPJ) for student activities. By waterfall approach with the task scheduler feature, the LPJ FT UM application was created. It can handle several aspects of LPJ and also reminding students to submit activity reports quickly. This tool streamlines and reduces the amount of time students need to handle LPJ operationally. Monitoring the status of LPJs sent by students will be simple for finance officers. Based on operational test this apps reach 93 percent, so it’s very worthy to use. Abstrak: Keterlambatan pelaporan pertanggungjawaban (LPJ) kegiatan kemahasiswaan mengakibatkan  penumpukan laporan di akhir tahun, hal ini dikarenakan kecenderungan mahasiswa mengumpulkan melebihi batas waktu yang telah ditentukan oleh petugas keuangan. Aplikasi LPJ FT UM dikembangkan menggunakan metode waterfall diintegrasikan dengan fitur task scheduler yang bisa melakukan manajemen LPJ seperti proses pengunggahan, verifikasi, serta selalu memberikan pengingat berkala bagi mahasiswa untuk segera menyerahkan laporan kegiatan. Secara operasional, aplikasi ini mempermudah serta mempersingkat waktu yang dibutuhkan mahasiswa dalam mengurus LPJ. Bagi petugas keuangan akan mudah melakukan monitoring status LPJ yang dikirimkan oleh mahasiswa. Berdasarkan hasil uji coba operasional, aplikasi ini memiliki mencapai 93%, yang artinya aplikasi ini sangat layak digunakan.

Abstract

The low motivation of students to understand programming material at the junior high school level presents a challenge in informatics education. This study aims to develop web-based learning media using a Problem-Based Learning (PBL) approach on Scratch material to increase the learning motivation of seventh-grade junior high school students. The Research and Development (R&D) methodology used the ADDIE model, encompassing five stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Data were collected through observations, interviews, and questionnaires using a mixed-methods approach to obtain in-depth and measurable results. The analysis showed that the learning media was highly valid, with a 95.83 percent rating from content experts and 93.84 percent from media experts, and received an excellent response from student trials. Motivation assessments revealed a significant increase in student learning motivation from 72.18 percent (high) before using the media to 87.85 percent (very high) after its implementation. This learning media was positively received by students, deemed engaging, and made it easier for them to grasp fundamental programming concepts. Therefore, the web-based learning media using the PBL approach has proven effective in supporting increased student learning motivation and contributes to the advancement of informatics education in junior high schools.

Abstract

Learning in the era of disruption requires the development of innovation in various sectors. No exception in the education field. At SMKN 6 Malang, it requires the development of modules to support students' independent learning, so that learning materials can be delivered completely. This research is about research and development that aims to design, develop, and test the subject module of simulation and digital communication with project-based learning content for 10th grade students at SMKN 6 Malang using the 4D method. The sequence in this development begins with the definition, design, development, and dissemination stages. Furthermore, the product results were tested on 10th grade students majoring in RPL at SMKN 6 Malang, and there was an increase in study results and student independence. The results of the research conducted on experts and trials on students were: validation of feasibility from media experts obtained an average percentage score of 90.94%; validation of feasibility from material experts obtained an average percentage score of 86.29%. Individual trials by 3 students obtained an average percentage score of 80.95%; small group trials by 7 students obtained an average percentage score of 82.14%; and large-scale trials conducted by 23 students obtained an average percentage score of 85.09%. Overall, this module is declared Very Good/Very Eligible for use in the learning process. This study also showed an increase in learning completion values from before to after using the module. The results obtained were an increase of 8-12% and were declared effective. Furthermore, the learning independence in this study obtained an average percentage value of 81.56%, which in this study was very high.

Abstract

Mahasiswa Pendidikan Teknik Informatika (PTI) sebagai calon guru harus memiliki minat menjadi guru agar dapat meningkatkan kualitasnya untuk menjadi guru Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi (TIK) yang profesional. Mahasiswa yang mempunyai minat menjadi guru memerlukan persepsi yang baik terhadap profesi guru. Selain itu, calon guru TIK juga harus mempunyai keyakinan dalam dirinya untuk mencapai suatu keberhasilan agar dapat mengajarkan ilmu yang telah didapatkan. Penelitian ini mempunyai tujuan mengetahui: (1) deskripsi persepsi profesi guru, efikasi diri (self-efficacy) dan minat menjadi guru, (2) hubungan secara parsial antara persepsi profesi guru terhadap minat menjadi guru dan efikasi diri terhadap minat menjadi guru, dan (3) hubungan secara simultan antara persepsi profesi guru dan efikasi diri terhadap minat menjadi guru. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan rancangan penelitian deskriptif korelasional. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode ex post facto. Sampel penelitian adalah mahasiswa program studi PTI angkatan 2019-2021 Universitas Negeri Malang (UM) dengan jumlah 141 mahasiswa. Uji hipotesis menggunakan korelasi sederhana dan korelasi ganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan persepsi profesi guru dalam kategori sangat tinggi, efikasi diri dalam kategori tinggi, minat menjadi guru dalam kategori tinggi. Secara parsial antara variabel persepsi profesi guru (X1 ) terhadap minat menjadi guru (Y) dan efikasi diri (X2 ) terhadap minat menjadi guru (Y) mempunyai hubungan yang positif dan signifikan. Secara simultan antara persepsi profesi guru (X1), efikasi diri (X2 ) terhadap minat menjadi guru (Y) mempunyai hubungan yang positif dan signifikan

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh media pembela-jaran berbasis Augmented Reality (AR) terhadap literasi teknologi dan kemandirian belajar siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 25 Malang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuasi eksperimen dengan desain pretest-posttest one group design. Instrumen berupa kuesioner yang telah divalidasi dan reliabel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa lit-erasi teknologi siswa meningkat dari kategori cukup menjadi kategori tinggi, dengan N-Gain pada kategori tinggi. Uji Paired Sample T-Test menunjukkan perbedaan signifikan antara sebelum dan sesudah perla-kuan. Semua indikator literasi teknologi mengalami peningkatan men-jadi kategori tinggi. Kemandirian belajar juga mengalami peningkatan dari kategori rendah ke cukup, meskipun N-Gain berada dalam kategori rendah. Hasil uji Paired Sample T-Test menunjukkan perbedaan signif-ikan pada kemandirian belajar sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa media AR efektif dalam mening-katkan literasi teknologi siswa secara signifikan. Namun, pengaruhnya terhadap kemandirian belajar belum optimal dan memerlukan strategi pembelajaran.

Abstract

Penggunaan teknologi Augmented Reality (AR) sebagai media pembelajaran inovatif di sekolah menengah masih menghadapi tantangan, salah satunya adalah Keterbatasan pengalaman guru dalam menggunakan teknologi interaktif yang relevan di era digital. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan ini, diadakan kegiatan workshop yang bertujuan bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengalaman guru dalam menggunakan media pembelajaran berbasis AR. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah service-learning, yang meliputi tiga tahapan: pra-implementasi, implementasi, dan pasca-implementasi. Pada tahap pra-implementasi, dilakukan identifikasi kebutuhan mitra dan penyusunan materi. Implementasi dilakukan melalui sosialisasi, demonstrasi, dan focus group discussion (FGD), sedangkan pasca-implementasi meliputi monitoring dan evaluasi. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan peningkatan pengalaman guru dalam menggunakan media pembelajaran berbasis AR, sehingga mendukung terciptanya pengalaman belajar yang lebih interaktif dan menyenangkan. Diharapkan setelah pelatihan ini, guru-guru dapat mengimplementasikan AR dalam kelas secara mandiri maupaun berkolaborasi dengan guru di sekolahnya, sehingga meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan peserta didik.

Abstract

Vocational education plays a crucial role in preparing students for the workforce by integrating practical experience with personal development. This study aims to analyze the effect of Field Work Practice and Self-Efficacy on Work Readiness of SMK (Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan) Negeri 1 Singosari students. This study used a quantitative approach with an ex post facto design, chosen because it is appropriate to study existing conditions without direct manipulation. The sample consisted of 72 grade XII students of the Industrial Automation Engineering Department, representing the entire target population through saturated sampling. Data were collected using a validated and reliable questionnaire. Regression analysis showed that Field Work Practice and Self-Efficacy simultaneously had a significant effect on work readiness (R² = 0.769; p < 0.05). However, partially, only self-efficacy had a positive and significant effect (β = 0.980; p < 0.05), while Internship Experience had a positive effect but was not statistically significant (β = 0.150; p > 0.05). The insignificant results for Field Work Practice may be attributed to location variations and differences in the quality of guidance. In conclusion, these findings underscore the important role of self-efficacy in vocational education, suggesting that schools should implement targeted programs such as confidence-building workshops and structured mentoring to enhance students’ readiness for work.

Abstract

Abstract:This study aims to describe and analyze the relationship between self-regulation and competency in professional education courses on teaching readiness of Informatics Engineering Education students, class of 2021, at the State University of Malang. This study used a quantitative descriptive correlational approach with partial and simultaneous regression analysis techniques. The study population was 59 Teaching Assistant students selected through saturated sampling. The results showed a positive and significant relationship between self-regulation and teaching readiness (r = …, p 0.05), as well as between competency in professional education courses and teaching readiness (r = …, p 0.05). Simultaneously, both variables contributed significantly to teaching readiness. Populasi penelitian adalah 59 mahasiswa Asistensi Mengajar yang diambil secara sampling jenuh. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan antara self-regulation dan kesiapan mengajar (r = …, p 0.05), serta antara kompetensi mata kuliah profesi kependidikan dan kesiapan mengajar (r = …, p 0.05). Secara simultan, kedua variabel tersebut berkontribusi signifikan terhadap kesiapan mengajar. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa kedua aspek tersebut merupakan indikator penting dalam membentuk kesiapan profesional calon guru informatika.

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology in the Society 5.0 era has driven the need for vocational education to adapt to industrial automation demands. However, practical learning in many vocational schools remains conventional, limiting students’ exposure to IoT-based systems. This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model integrated with the IoT Blynk platform in improving students’ practical skills. The research employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design using two groups: an experimental class applying IoT Blynk–based PjBL and a control class using conventional methods. Data were collected through pretests, posttests, and observations, and analyzed using the Wilcoxon and Mann-Whitney tests, as well as the N-Gain score. The results showed significant differences between groups (U = 204.500; Z = -4.796; p < 0.001). The N-Gain score for the experimental class (0.62) was higher than for the control class (0.39), indicating medium–high improvement. These findings confirm that integrating Blynk IoT with PjBL effectively enhances students’ practical skills, motivation, and readiness for Industry 4.0.
