Abstract

The implementation of this PKM program aims to solve problems in the production and management aspects of cracker SMEs “UD. JAYA ABADI” owned by M. Subhan Abadi which is located in Tlasih village, Tulangan, Sidoarjo. The production capacity of these cracker SMEs is 400 kg/day. Types of crackers produced include fish crackers, onion crackers, and shrimp crackers. The priority problem in the production aspect of Mitra cracker SMEs is the low productivity (quality and quantity) of the production of mixing the cracker dough and the priority problem in the management aspect is that there is no bookkeeping of business financial flows. The process of mixing the raw material for crackers at the partner cracker SMEs is done manually by hand and trampled underfoot with a production capacity of 50 kg/hour. The solution to solving the priority problems in the production aspect is carried out through the design of the dough mixer machine for raw materials for crackers, semi-automatic, mechanical, electric motors and reducers and solutions to solving financial management problems are carried out through training activities and assistance in accounting for business financial flows using a simple cash book. The results achieved from the implementation of the PKM program are: (1) a semi-automatic mechanical mixer for crackers, an electric motor and a reducer with a production capacity of 500 kg/hour, and (2) the implementation of better financial management, which has been carried out in an orderly manner. business financial flows using a simple cash book.

Abstract

Pada proses pembuatan tempe terdapat beberapa hambatan yaitu pada proses pemecahan kedelai, proses pemisahan kulit ari kedelai dan sterilisasi peralatan proses produksi. Pada proses pemecahan kedelai masih dilakukan secara konvensional yaitu dengan menggunakan alat pemecah kedelai manual yang digerakan oleh tangan sehingga menyebabkan 10% kedelai belum pecah dan membutuhkan waktu yang relatif lama (1 jam). Proses selanjutnya yaitu proses pemisahan kulit ari kedelai dengan cara dicuci ke dalam tong sambil diaduk menggunakan tangan sehingga kulit arinya mengambang. Proses ini membutuhkan waktu relatif (2 jam) sehingga kurang efisien. Sedangkan pada proses sterilisasi peralatan masih dilakukan dengan cara disiram menggunakan air mengalir agar sisa-sisa kedelai akan terbawa air, hal ini tidak menjamin peralatan produksi telah steril dari ancaman bakteri/kuman. Solusi untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan mitra yaitu dengan menerapkan mesin pemecah sekaligus pemisah kulit ari kedelai dan bilik steriliasi ozon. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan ini yaitu koordinasi tim, pembuatan gambar detail, melakukan manufaktur assembly dan uji fungsi, serah terima dan implementasi mesin, dan evaluasi. Hasil yang dicapai pada implementasi mesin dan blik sterilisasi memberikan manfaat bagi mitra diantaranya: (1) mempercepat proses pemecahan dan pemisahan kulit ari kedelai yang semula 3 jam menjadi 1 jam; (2) hasil proses pemecahan yang semula 10% kedelai belum pecah menjadi 3%; (3) karyawan tidak mudah lelah; 4) peralatan proses produksi lebih terjamin kebersihannya karena disterilkan secara berkala.

Abstract

This Community Service activity aims to help UD.MM Collection in Sidoarjo who have problems with poor production management processes and financial management. This service method is in the form of providing shoe slip machines and financial management training through a simple cash book. The results obtained are UD. MM Collection can produce shoes faster because it already has a shoe slip machine with two slip sides, making it faster and more efficient. The results of the slip also have a smoother quality than the previous machine and save electricity. In addition, the machine is also equipped with a vacuum cleaner so that it is safer to use. The second result is UD. MM Collection can have neater financial records and know its financial position in terms of income, expenses, payables, and receivables.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Pendahuluan: Masa remaja, sebagai periode kritis yang ditandai oleh perubahan signifikan, membuat individu sangat rentan terhadap masalah kesehatan mental, termasuk depresi. Sekitar 14% remaja di seluruh dunia terkena kondisi kesehatan mental yang sering tidak terdeteksi dan tidak diobati. Depresi pada masa remaja memerlukan diagnosis dan penanganan yang efektif, yang umumnya dimulai dari perawatan primer. Neurofeedback, yang memberikan umpan balik secara real-time tentang aktivitas otak, dan Dzikir, sebuah praktik spiritual mengingat Tuhan, masing-masing telah menunjukkan manfaat dalam pengobatan kesehatan mental. Laporan Kasus: Laporan kasus ini mengkaji penggunaan gabungan neurofeedback dan dzikir dalam mengobati seorang remaja perempuan berusia 17 tahun dengan depresi berat berulang yang tidak responsif terhadap pengobatan konvensional. Meskipun memiliki prestasi akademik yang tinggi, perundungan dan hubungan keluarga yang tegang menyebabkan gejala depresi yang signifikan dan perilaku melukai diri sendiri. Rencana pengobatan selama 8 sesi yang mengintegrasikan neurofeedback dan dzikir diterapkan. Pengumpulan data meliputi wawancara, masukan dari pengasuh, kuesioner PHQ-A, dan hasil Brain Mapping/QEEG. Hasil: QEEG awal menunjukkan aktivitas yang menurun pada gelombang Theta, Alpha, dan Beta, yang merupakan ciri khas depresi. Sepanjang terapi, subjek menunjukkan kerja sama dan melaporkan efek positif dari Dhikr. Setelah terapi, QEEG menunjukkan aktivitas gelombang otak yang normal, dan skor PHQ-A meningkat dari 20 (depresi berat) menjadi 5 (depresi ringan hingga sedang). Subjek dan keluarganya melaporkan peningkatan emosional dan perilaku yang signifikan, penghentian tindakan menyakiti diri sendiri, dan peningkatan motivasi. Diskusi: Menggabungkan neurofeedback dengan Dhikr menawarkan pendekatan holistik untuk depresi remaja, yang mencakup aspek neurologis dan spiritual dari kesejahteraan. Terapi integratif ini dapat mengurangi stigma terhadap perawatan kesehatan mental dan memberikan kerangka pemulihan yang komprehensif. Kesimpulan: Integrasi neurofeedback dan Dhikr dalam terapi suportif untuk depresi remaja menunjukkan pendekatan holistik yang menjanjikan. Penelitian lebih lanjut harus mengeksplorasi efektivitas metode ini dan mengembangkan protokol klinis yang terstandarisasi.

Abstract

Abstract: The production of tempeh in Indonesia, particularly in SMEs located at Jalan Raya Sepande No.45 Sidoarjo, still faces challenges in the manual fermentation process, especially during unstable weather conditions. Suboptimal fermentation can lead to a decline in production quality. This community service activity aims to improve the quality and capacity of tempeh production through technological innovation. The method used is a participatory approach involving training, mentoring, and discussions between the proposing team and partners. The resulting solution includes the application of appropriate technology, such as a fermentation room equipped with temperature and humidity control, as well as improvements in packaging and digital marketing. The results of this activity show an increase in production quality and quantity, income, and the human resource capacity of the partners. The conclusion of this activity is that the participatory approach and technological innovation can significantly enhance production efficiency and partner welfare.

Abstract

This study aimed to assess the effectiveness of using YouTube Channel videos as a learning tool, with a specific focus on tire changing and wheel balancing content, to enhance student learning outcomes and prepare them for the Vocational Competency Exam at Vocational High Schools. The research was conducted at Dharma Bahari Vocational School in Surabaya, where blended learning was adopted in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The research utilized a quantitative descriptive research design, incorporating response questionnaires from both students and teachers, as well as cognitive, affective, and psychomotor assessment instrument sheets. Data collection included questionnaires, tests, and observations, followed by quantitative descriptive analysis. The findings of the study indicated a significant positive impact of using YouTube Channel video media on student learning outcomes. This impact was evident through the noteworthy difference in student learning outcomes before and after the intervention. The significance value (p-value) in the t-test was 0.000, falling below the probability threshold of 0.05, signifying a substantial difference in the learning outcomes of students who utilized YouTube Channel video media. In conclusion, this research affirms that YouTube Channel can effectively serve as a supportive tool in blended learning and as a means of preparing students for vocational competency exams. as a result, the recommendation stemming from this research is to continue harnessing YouTube Channel video media for learning purposes and to explore the development of video content relevant to other materials.

Abstract

Adolescent depression, particularly when complicated by psychotic features, presents significant challenges in treatment due to its complex and multifaceted nature. This case study explores the integration of neurofeedback training and Dhikr, an Islamic meditative practice, as complementary therapies alongside traditional pharmacotherapy in treating a 15 years old male diagnosed with severe recurrent depression. Despite initial reluctance and skepticism influenced by community stigma surrounding mental health and spiritual practices, both therapies contributed to noticeable improvements in the patient's symptoms and overall well-being. Neurofeedback was utilized to regulate brainwave activity, while Dhikr provided a meditative and spiritual component that promoted mindfulness and inner peace. The case highlights the importance of addressing community stigma, personalized treatment plans, and holistic approaches in managing adolescent depression, ultimately leading to better engagement and therapeutic outcomes.

Abstract

This community service activity aimed to improve the quality of basic mechanical engineering learning at Sekolah Indonesia Davao (SID) through the application of innovative and effective learning media. SID has limited access to basic mechanical engineering learning materials, and there is no media that makes it easier to understand the material. To overcome this problem, the community service activity implementation team implemented basic engineering learning media aimed for junior high and high school levels. The implementation methods included identifying partner problems, determining solutions, implementing media, monitoring, and compiling reports. The results of the implementation of this activity showed that the basic mechanical engineering learning media has been handed over to the partner on May 28, 2024, and training on how to operate the media has been carried out. This activity also received a positive response from the partner, because it made a significant contribution to improving the understanding and skills of students at SID in the field of mechanical engineering, as well as strengthening cooperation between Surabaya State University and SID in the field of education.

Abstract

Perkembangan pada zaman ini semakin meningkat, manusia mengharapkan sebuah alat atau teknologi yang dapat membantu pekerjaan manusia, sehinga teknologi menjadi kebutuhan bagi manusia. Tugas akhir ini bertujuan untuk membuat alat penyiram tanaman otomatis yang dapat melakukan pekerjaan menyiram tanaman cabai secara otomatis. Alat penyiram tanaman otomatis bertujuan untuk menggantikan pekerjaan manual menjadi otomatis, adapun manfaat yang didapatkan dari alat ini adalah dapat mempermudah pekerjaan manusia dalam menyiram tanaman cabai. Alat ini mengunakan sensor soil moisture/kelembaban tanah yang berfungsi sebagai pendeteksi kelembaban tanah dan mengirim perintah kepada Arduino uno guna menghidupkan relay agar pompa dapat menyala dan melakukan penyenyiram air sesuai kebutuhan tanah secara otomatis. Perancangan alat ini memanfaatkan sifat air yaitu mengisi ruang yang kosong, dan selalu datar, alat penyiram tanaman otomatis ini menggunakan penampung air sebelum air disiramkan ke tanah. Lubang keluaran yang diaplikasikan ke penampung air dengan tinggi dan diameter lubang yang sama memungkinkan penyiraman pada tanah merata. Hasil pengujian rancang bangun penyiram tanaman otomatis yang didapatkan setelah dilakukan tiga kali pengujian, memiliki perbedaan jumlah air yang dikeluarkan dari lubang air satu dan lubang air dua, yaitu berkisar antara 0-7%, yang artinya masih dalam batas toleransi pada tanaman cabai, tanaman cabai membutuhkan kelembaban tanah antara 70-80%, yang artinya mempunyai toleransi kelembaban antara 0-10%. Kata kunci : Rancang Bangun, Penyiram Tanaman Otomatis, Sensor Soilmoisture, Mikrokontroller, Arduino Uno.
