Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis: (1) pengaruh pendekatan saintifik terhadap keterampilan proses sains siswa kelas VII SMP N 2 Berbah, (2) pengaruh pendekatan saintifik terhadap hasil belajar kognitif siswa kelasVII SMP N 2 Berbah. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen kuasi dengan desain penelitian noneqivalentcontrol group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas VII SMP N 2 Berbah tahun ajaran 2015/2016 yangberjumlah empat kelas. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik cluster random sampling.Kelas VII B sebagai kelas eksperimen yang diberikan perlakuan menggunakan pembelajaran dengan pendekatansaintifik, sedangkan kelas VII C sebagai kelas kontrol yang diberikan perlakuan menggunakan pembelajaran denganpendekatan berbasis KTSP yang menerapkan Eksplorasi, Elaborasi, Konfirmasi (EEK). Instrumen yang digunakandalam penelitian ini adalah lembar observasi keterampilan proses sains dan lembar soal hasil belajar kognitif siswa.Uji prasyarat menggunakan uji normalitas dan uji homogenitas. Pengujian hipotesis dilakukan dengan uji regresi liniersederhana menggunakan program SPSS 18. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) pendekatan saintifikberpengaruh terhadap keterampilan proses sains siswa kelas VII SMP N 2 Berbah yang ditunjukkan oleh angkasignifikansi kurang dari 0,05. Besarnya pengaruh pendekatan saintifik terhadap keterampilan proses sains siswa adalah32,5%. (2) pendekatan saintifik berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar kognitif siswa kelas VII SMP N 2 Berbah yangditunjukkan oleh angka signifikansi kurang dari 0,05. Besarnya pengaruh pendekatan saintifik terhadap hasil belajarkognitif siswa adalah 26,8%. Kata kunci: pendekatan saintifik, keterampilan proses sains, hasil belajar kognitif

Abstract

Banyak tantangan yang akan dihadapi di era society 5.0, salah satunya adalah di bidang pendidikan yang berkaitan dengan sumber daya manusia. Guru harus melek teknologi untuk mengembangkan proses pembelajaran yang terus mengaktifkan siswa untuk melatih keterampilan yang dibutuhkan di era society 5.0 dan mengintegrasikan sumber belajar yang mengedepankan sumber belajar yang ada di sekitar siswa. Oleh karena itu, guru IPA dituntut untuk mengemas pembelajaran agar dapat mengikuti hakikat pembelajaran IPA dengan tidak mengesampingkan ketercapaian pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan hakikat IPA. Dalam pembelajaran, guru harus memberikan pengalaman belajar kontekstual yang bermakna bagi siswa. Salah satu cara yang dapat dilakukan adalah dengan menerapkan pembelajaran yang membantu siswa memahami materi ajar dan mengaitkannya dengan kehidupan sehari-hari atau yang lebih dikenal dengan pembelajaran berbasis konteks. Workshop ini merupakan diseminasi hasil penelitian tim pengabdian mengenai penerapan produk penelitian tentang pembelajaran berbasis konteks dalam pembelajaran IPA. Kegiatan pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi pedagogik dan profesional guru di era society 5.0. Kegiatan yang dilakukan adalah mendiseminasikan hasil penelitian tim pengabdian tentang pengembangan perangkat berbasis konteks, meningkatkan kemampuan guru dalam mengembangkan desain pembelajaran khususnya yang berbasis konteks dan mengintegrasikan teknologi, serta membantu guru menganalisis kebutuhan untuk merancang pembelajaran berbasis konteks.  Kegiatan PPM dilakukan melalui tutorial (tatap muka virtual), workshop, penugasan terstruktur, dan konsultasi. Penugasan terstruktur, yaitu penyusunan Desain Instruksional Berbasis Konteks yang mengintegrasikan sumber belajar kontekstual pada mata pelajaran IPA. Konsultasi tugas, yaitu konsultasi yang dilakukan melalui email/WA/HP terutama bagi peserta pelatihan yang mengalami kesulitan dalam menyelesaikan tugas terstruktur dan kegiatan evaluasi melalui angket, observasi, dan pendampingan. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa guru-guru IPA SMP di Kabupaten Sleman Yogyakarta memiliki kompetensi pedagogik dan profesional dalam menyusun Desain Instruksional Berbasis Konteks dalam pembelajaran IPA. Selain itu, hasil kegiatan workshop menjadi bahan kajian, jurnal, atau referensi dalam kegiatan workshop serupa.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of capital structure and ownership structure on the profitability of leasing finance companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2019-2021. This type of research is associative with a sampling technique using purposive sampling. The total sample is 13 companies and the number of observations is 39 companies. The analytical method used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the multiple linear regression analysis are Y = -32.564 + 0.405 X1 + 1.931 X2. Based on the research results, it shows that partially the capital structure variable (DER) with a significance value of 0.000<0.05 shows that it has a significant effect on profitability. On the other hand, partial ownership structure (INST) with a significance value of 0.571>0.05 has no significant effect on profitability. Simultaneously, capital structure (DER) and ownership structure (DER) with a significance value of 0.000<0.05 have a significant effect on profitability (ROE). Among the capital structure (DER) and ownership structure (INST) variables, the most dominant influence is the capital structure variable (X1) with a beta coefficient value of 0.737.

Abstract

This study aims to develop anecopbl learning model to improve critical thinking and collaboration skills of elementary school students. This type of research is development research. The development model used in this study is the ADDIE model through 5 stages, namely, (1) analysis stage (2) design stage; (3) development stage (4) implementation stage,; (5) evaluation stage. The data obtained in the validation of model assessment instruments by experts are in the form of underlying theories, objectives, syntax, and social systems. The results of the conversion of validation assessments on the underlying theoretical aspects have an average value of 10 with very good categories. While the conversion results of the validation assessment on the objective aspect have an average of 8.5, with a very good category. The results of the conversion validation assessment on syntax and social systems by experts have an average value of 18.5 so that it has a very good category. The effectiveness of the anecopbl model was shown by an average test result of n-gain of 0.77 in the effective category. These results suggest that the use of models can improve students' critical thinking skills. Based on the effect size test between the control group and anecopbl showed a result of 2.90 showing that learning using the model that has been done is very effective and has a major effect in improving critical thinking skills. The results of the collaboration assessment showed that more than half of all respondents agreed that they had the same goals, shared duties and responsibilities, and that there was cooperation between groups. So that the anecopbl model is feasible, effective, and practical to be used to improve critical thinking and collaboration skills of elementary students.  Keywords: anecopbl, critical thinking, collaboration

Abstract

The aims of this activity are to: (1) disseminating the results of researchfrom a team of stewards on the development of integrated science worksheetsguided inquiry based to develop thinking skills and scientific attitude in order tosupport the implementation of Kurikulum 2013; (2) improving the skills ofteachers in guiding students to form a concept (concept formation); (3) improvingtheskills of teachers in inquiry approach in worksheet; (4) improving thecreativity of teachers in developing worksheet. The target participant of this activity is 34 teacher members of MGMPIPA SMP/MTs Magelang regency. This activity is done in three stages, includingthestage of theoretical training, practical training phase and the evaluationphase. The methods used are: modeling (simulation), lectures, discus-sions, andworkshops. The results showed that the overall activity of PPM activity has beensuccessful in reaching the target activity. Most of the participants are alreadyskilled in guiding students to form a concept (concept formation) IPA. Mostparticipants also been able to apply the guided inquiry approach in studentworksheet. In addition, the final product student worksheet also shows most ofthe participants have been creative in developing worksheets with student worksheetdevelop their own (not copy and paste) and includes the development ofhigher order thinking skills in student worksheet

Abstract

The aims of this activity are: (1) to disseminate the results of research from a team of stewards on the development of learning materials authentic inquiry based learning to develop problem solving and scientific attitude; (2) to develop the skills of teachers in guiding students for doing investigation or inquiry; (3) to develop the skills of teachers in developing learning material with authentic inquiry approach; (4) to develop the skill of teachers in  teaching with implementation of authentic inquiry leaning approach. The target participant of this activity is 26 teacher members of MGMP IPA SMP Magelang regency. This activity is done in three stages, including the stage of theoretical training, practical training phase and the evaluation phase. The methods used are: lecture, modeling, discussion, and workshop. The results showed that the overall activity of PPM activity has been successful in reaching the target activity. Most of the participants are already skilled in guiding student for doing inquiry. Most participants also been able to develop student worksheet based on authentic inquiry learning approach and half of student worksheets have contain of problem solving and scientific attitude development. Most of the group of participant can teaching science through the authentic inquiry approach very Good because most of the steps of authentic inquiry learning approach has be done by all group

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to make snake fruit briquette charcoal mixed with goat dung an alternative energy source that supports environmentally friendly technology. The samples used were snake fruit and goat dung as charcoal and tapioca flour as an adhesive. Each sample has 200 grams of charcoal and 30 grams of adhesive. The percentage of charcoal is 50% snake fruit bark charcoal and 50% goat dung charcoal. Snake fruit briquettes and goat dung are divided into 3 groups: A1 (87% charcoal: 13% adhesive), A2 (77% charcoal: 23% adhesive), and A3 (97% charcoal: 3% adhesive). In 3 samples tested with the percentage of charcoal flour to tapioca flour, the first one was produced in sample A1 (87%: 13%), which produced a moisture content of 9.87%, an ash content of 36.75%, and a calorific content of 5899 kcal/kg. The A2 sample (77%:23%) yielded a moisture content of 11.44%, an ash content of 32.13%, and a calorific content of 5634 kcal/kg. The A3 sample yielded a moisture content of 8.93%, an ash content of 41.38%, and a calorific content of 6339 kcal/kg.  This study concludes that the best calorific value in the A3 sample is 97% charcoal briquettes with 3% adhesive, with a calorific value of 6339 cal/kg.

Abstract

Research on science learning using the Cognitive Load Theory (CLT) approach has shown positive impacts on students, particularly in reducing cognitive load and improving learning outcomes. Toward the end of 2024, deep learning emerged as a central issue in education, proposed as a strategy to enhance the quality of education in Indonesia. Therefore, the development of deep learning instructional materials needs to consider students’ cognitive load. Previous studies confirmed that CLT-based approaches are effective; however, preliminary survey results through teacher interviews revealed that many teachers still lack an understanding of CLT, including how to design and implement CLT-based instruction. Furthermore, science teaching modules that integrate deep learning remain limited, and examples provided in the Merdeka Mengajar Platform (PMM) are still scarce. Considering the importance of CLT in science learning and the limited teacher knowledge, training is essential to optimize teachers’ competence in developing deep learning approaches grounded in CLT. This activity proved effective in enhancing teachers’ implementation skills.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mendiskusikan pokok permasalahan yaitu cara guru dalam memberikan stimulus kepada siswa dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab, melihat respon yang ditunjukan oleh siswa dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab , serta menemukan faktor penghambat stimulus dan respon dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab pada siswa SMP di Makassar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif, di mana pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik observasi (pengamatan), wawancara dan dokumen, yang selanjutnya dianalisis secara deskriptif. Berdasarkan hasil temuan lapangan, dapat diketahui bahwa stimulus yang dapat diberikan oleh guru dalam pembelajaran yaitu: 1) Penggunaan variasi metode mengajar, materi, dan buku penunjang; (2) pemberian nilai; (3) pemberian hukuman; dan (4) pemberian pujian atau penghargaan. Respon yang ditunjukkan siswa dalam pembelajaran yaitu: 1) Respon Perseptual; (2) Respon Emosional; dan (3) Respon Behavioristik. Sementara faktor penghambat stimulus dan respon dalam pembelajaran yaitu faktor intern dan faktor ekstern siswa.Kata kunci: Stimulus, Respon, Pembelajaran

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuat dan mengetahui kualitas briket kulit bawang merah dan ampas kelapa. Pengujian briket dilakukan di Laboratorium PT Sucofindo Bengkulu. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan analisis data kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Briket yang dibuat terdiri dari tiga komposisi, yaitu A1 (30% kulit bawang merah : 70% ampas kelapa), A2 (50% kulit bawang merah : 50% ampas kelapa), dan A3 (70% kulit bawang merah : 30% ampas kelapa). Parameter kualitas briket yang diuji yakni kadar air, kadar abu, dan nilai kalor. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kulit bawang merah dan ampas kelapa berpotensi menjadi briket ramah lingkungan. Komposisi ketiga briket telah memenuhi SNI 01-6235 2000 dengan nilai kalor lebih dari 5000 kkal/kg. Nilai kalor terbesar dihasilkan dari briket A1 dengan komposisi 30% kulit bawang merah : 70% ampas kelapa dengan nilai kalor 6584 kkal/kg. Dengan demikian, kulit bawang merah dan ampas kelapa berpotensi menjadi briket ramah lingkungan.
