Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of hots-based learning media in the independent perspective of learning for fifth grade students at SD Negeri Daya II Makassar City. This study uses a qualitative approach, with a qualitative descriptive research type. The objects of this research were students and teachers of class V SD Negeri Daya II Makassar City. Sources of data in this study are observation, interviews and documentation. The data in this study were analyzed using 3 stages, namely data reduction (data reduction), data display (data presentation), conclusion drawing (conclusion), and verification (verification). The results of the research conducted showed that: (1) the role of hots-based audio-visual learning media in the perspective of independent learning has an important role for success in students. With the use of audio visual media students are more motivated to learn. This is evident from the fact that learning is more interesting and easy to understand, the classroom atmosphere becomes more conducive and students' attitudes become happy, not bored, enthusiastic and enthusiastic in the learning process and students' attention is focused on the topics discussed in learning and arouses students' understanding contained in the the value of the daily test results and students can repeat the learning material. (2) the supporting and inhibiting factors for the application of audio-visual media are: the supporting factors are the existence of adequate facilities and infrastructure, students are happier when using learning media. While the inhibiting factors are the power outages when using the media, there are students who are noisy and passing by when the learning process is in progress. The implementation of audio-visual media in this lesson can encourage students' enthusiasm and curiosity about the lesson, so that students are expected to easily understand the material being taught.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the visual media-assisted discovery learning model on increasing thematic learning outcomes of third-grade students at SD Inpres Antang 1 and to find out the differences in learning motivation for students after and after following the visual media-assisted discovery learning model on thematic learning of third-grade students at SD Inpres Antang 1. The method used was experimentation with the type of research being pre-experimental design in the form of one group pretest-posttest design and the data collection technique used was observation, testing and documentation. Based on the results of the study, it was shown that the visual media-assisted discovery learning model had a positive and significant effect on improving the thematic learning outcomes of third grade students at SD Inpres Antang 1. This learning model can help students understand learning material better. The use of visual media can also help students visualize concepts that are difficult to understand and this research provides empirical evidence that supports the positive impact of the Discovery Learning Model on the thematic learning outcomes of third grade students. By actively engaging in the learning process, exploring new concepts, and solving problems, students show increased intrinsic learning outcomes, self-efficacy, and overall engagement. These findings emphasize the importance of applying a student-centred approach, such as the Discovery Learning Model, to create a motivating learning environment.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe how the Outing Class-based contextual learning model is applied, describe the learning outcomes of students in the Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS), and ascertain the impact of the Outing Class-based contextual learning model on the learning outcomes of fifth-grade students at SD Inpres Kalang Tubung II Makassar City. This kind of study uses the Pre-Experimental Design research approach and is a one-group presetest-posttest design. There were 41 pupils in the fifth grade at SD Inpres Kalang Tubung II Makassar City that made up the study's population. Class V B students made up the study's sample, consisting of 22 individuals, 15 of whom were male and 7 of whom were female. The findings revealed that: 1) A summary of how the Outing class-based contextual learning methodology is applied. When this strategy is used, students participate in extracurricular learning activities that are closely linked to the idea or subject matter being studied. Students that participate in outing class activities become more engaged in their education and gain a better understanding of the connection between theory and practice. 2) A summary of the Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) learning outcomes based on the pretest scores, where students' average score is 60. Additionally, the average posttest score is 85, indicating that students' IPAS learning outcomes following the implementation of the contextual learning model based on outing classes are better than those prior to the implementation of.

Abstract

The Effect of Games-Based Problem Based Learning (PBL) Model on Literacy and Numeracy of Class IV Students of UPT SPF SD Inpres Layang III Makassar City. This study aims to determine the effect of the games-based Problem Based Learning (PBL) model on literacy and numeracy of grade IV UPT SPF SD Inpres Layang III Makassar City school year 2024 odd semester. This type of research is experimental research designs one-group pretest-posttest. With the subject of this study were 24 UPT SPF SD Inpres Layang III class IV students, of which 9 male students and 12 female. Data collection was carried out using interviews, observations, tests, and documentation. The data collected in the study were analyzed using descriptive and inferential analysis techniques. Based on the results of data analysis, the average literacy pre-test before treatment was 60.95 while after treatment was 80.48. And the numeracy pre-test before being given the treatment was 65.24 while after being given the treatment was 89.52. Hypothesis testing of the experimental class obtained normality test is 0.163 which means very effective. Based on the results of the study, there is an effect of the games-based Problem Based Learning (PBL) model on literacy and numeracy of class IV UPT SPF SD Inpres Layang III students.

Abstract

This study aims to determine (1) the implementation of higher order thinking skill (HOTS) based mathematics learning through problem based learning model in class V SD Negeri Kapasa, (2) the level of effectiveness of problem based learning (PBL) model on HOTS based mathematics learning, (3) factors that hinder HOTS based mathematics learning through problem based learning (PBL) model. This research uses a qualitative approach, with a descriptive qualitative research type. The objects in this research are students and fifth grade teachers of SD Negeri Kapasa. In this study, the data collection techniques used were observation, tests, interviews and documentation. The implementation of HOTS-based mathematics learning through the PBL model makes students think systematically, able to analyze problems from various aspects, train creative and innovative thinking levels and make students more confident. Factors that can hinder HOTS-based mathematics learning through the PBL model are the lack of time allocation in applying the model and the different grasping power of students so that the solution that can be done by the teacher is able to manage the time allocation properly as well as the seating arrangement of students, give additional assignments to students and provide additional tutoring to students who are lacking in mathematics subjects.
