Abstract

The purpose of this research is to examine how production costs factor into producer choices, particularly those pertaining to output volume, selling price estimation, and company growth strategies. The research examined micro and small business players in Kediri Regency, East Java, employing a descriptive quantitative technique. The findings demonstrate that the production cost structure, particularly the preponderance of variable costs, considerably affects the quantity of output and the margin for price adjustment. It has additionally been demonstrated that saving money encourages manufacturers to take risks and grow their companies. Moreover, management accounting-based cost tracking, waste reduction, and sourcing local raw materials are all cost management tactics that impact a company's strength and ability to compete. Producers' long-term strategic decision-making is therefore influenced by effective production cost management, which in turn affects operational sustainability.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze price elasticity and income elasticity of products by integrating perspectives from conventional economics and Islamic microeconomics. In conventional economics, price and income elasticity are used to understand consumer demand sensitivity to changes in price and income. Meanwhile, Islamic microeconomics adds an ethical dimension, such as the prohibition of israf (wastefulness) and the importance of balanced consumption. The findings indicate that elasticity analysis is crucial not only for business strategies and economic policies but also must incorporate Islamic economic principles to promote sustainable and ethical consumption. This study suggests that integrating Islamic microeconomic values in elasticity analysis can enrich the understanding of consumer behavior and foster more inclusive economic policies.

Abstract

Abstract

Abstract

The development of digital technology has driven significant transformations in the financial system, including among university students, a young age group that predominantly uses digital financial services. Students are increasingly familiar with the use of e-wallets, mobile banking, and digital investments in their daily financial activities. However, the high adoption rate of these services is not always accompanied by adequate levels of digital financial literacy. This study aims to analyze students’ perceptions of digital financial literacy and its implications for personal financial management. The research method used a qualitative approach through literature review by analyzing journal articles, books, and relevant scientific documents. The results indicate that students’ understanding of e-wallets, mobile banking, and digital investments positively influences personal financial management behaviors, such as budget planning, spending control, and saving and investment decisions. However, limited understanding of the risks, data security, and long-term consequences of using digital financial services remains a major challenge. Therefore, improving digital financial literacy that is applicative and practice-oriented is needed to support wiser and more sustainable personal financial management of students in the digital era

Abstract

The growth of the digital economy sector in Indonesia has increased public access to technology-based investment services. However, this development has also led to an increase in investment fraud cases, resulting in significant losses and a decline in public confidence in the investment system. This study uses a literature review method by analyzing various scientific studies that aim to evaluate the role of digital financial literacy in improving investment security and its contribution to national economic growth. The results of the study show that the public’s ability to understand digital financial concepts, recognize security threats, and evaluate investment-related information are important factors in preventing financial fraud. Improving digital financial literacy has also been proven to strengthen consumer protection, increase trust in the digital investment ecosystem, and contribute to accelerating Indonesia’s economic growth.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of Indonesian economic theory in addressing the challenges of globalization and the digitalization of the national economy in a contemporary and strategically modern era. The research employs a qualitative descriptive approach using a literature review method by examining books, academic journals, government policy documents, and other relevant sources. This study highlights the role of Pancasila-based economic theory as the foundation of the national economic system in responding to global economic dynamics and rapid digital transformation. The findings indicate that globalization and digitalization present both opportunities and challenges for Indonesia’s economy, particularly in terms of competitiveness, economic sovereignty, and equitable welfare distribution. Conceptually, the implementation of Indonesian economic theory emphasizes the role of the state in regulating and safeguarding national interests; however, in practice, it faces obstacles such as unequal access to digital technology, the dominance of global economic actors, and limitations in adaptive regulatory frameworks. Therefore, innovative, inclusive, and nationally value-oriented economic policy strategies are required to ensure sustainable economic development amid globalization and digital transformation.

Abstract

The increasing urbanization in Indonesia has a significant impact on poverty and food security, especially in urban areas. The migration of people from rural areas to cities is not always followed by an increase in welfare due to limited formal employment opportunities, so many migrants work in the informal sector with low and unstable incomes. This condition increases the risk of urban poverty and weakens households’ ability to meet adequate and nutritious food needs. This study aims to analyze the relationship between urbanization, poverty, and food security in Indonesia and to examine the opportunities for food diversification as a strategy to strengthen urban food security. The research method used is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data were obtained through literature studies, policy document analysis, and a review of previous research results relevant to the themes of poverty, urbanization, and food security. Data analysis techniques were carried out through data reduction, data presentation, and interpretive conclusions. The results of the study show that poverty is a major factor causing household food insecurity in urban areas, while food diversification through the use of local resources, urban agriculture, and agricultural technology innovations has the potential to strengthen food security in a sustainable manner.

Abstract

This study explores the contribution of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) to Indonesia’s economic development by analyzing their role in GDP, employment absorption, regional business distribution, access to financing, and integration into global value chains. Employing a descriptive qualitative approach through literature review, this research utilizes national journals, government reports, and official statistical data. The findings reveal that MSMEs play a significant role in the national economy, contributing 61% to GDP and 97% to employment absorption. However, MSMEs continue to face several challenges, including limited capital, low levels of digitalization, insufficient human resource quality, and infrastructure disparities. Although MSME participation in export activities has increased, further integration into the Global Value Chain (GVC) and utilization of Global E-Commerce (GEC) are required. This study recommends capacity enhancement, digital transformation, expanded access to financing, and the development of a supportive business ecosystem to maximize the contribution of MSMEs to inclusive and sustainable national economic growth.
