Abstract

Exclusive breastfeeding is recommended in the form of breastfeeding for 6 months without other additional foods such as formula milk and other complementary foods. Although the number of mothers who have realized the importance of giving breast milk to their babies is increasing, they are still unable to breastfeed until 6 months. The purpose of the study was to determine the factors that influence exclusive breastfeeding in PHBS in the home setting in Pelawi Village, Babalan District, Langkat Regency.The research design used a quantitative method which was carried out by an analytical survey with a Cross Sectional Study approach. The population in this study were all mothers who had babies under 6 months of age as many as 98 mothers. The sample using the Total Sampling system is 98 mothers. Data analysis used univariate, bivariate and multivariate analysis. The results showed that there was an effect of parity p = 0.017, knowledge p = 0.000, attitude p = 0.000, husband's support p = 0.013 and the role of health workers p = 0.000 on exclusive breastfeeding in PHBS in the home setting in Pelawi Village, Babalan District, Langkat Regency. While the most dominant factor is knowledge p = 0.000 and 95% CI = 7.002-677.067 with OR 68,851. The conclusion of this study is that there is an effect of parity, knowledge, attitude, husband's support and the role of health workers on exclusive breastfeeding in PHBS in the home setting in Pelawi Village, Babalan District, Langkat Regency. It is recommended for health workers to make efforts to approach with education and inform the benefits of exclusive breastfeeding.

Abstract

Obat tradisional adalah ramuan atau bahan yang telah digunakan secara turun temurun untuk pengobatan. Bahan-bahan ini dapat berupa bahan tumbuhan, hewan, mineral, sediaan sarian (galenik), atau campuran dari bahan-bahan tersebut.. Namun tidak sedikit produsen obat tradisional yang tidak bertanggung jawab dalam memasarkan produknya menambahkan bahan kimia obat kedalamnya dengan tujuan berkhasiat secara instan. Hal ini sangat berbahaya karena bahan kimia obat  tidak hanya memiliki efek samping, tetapi juga harus dikonsumsi dalam dosis tertentu untuk menghindari toksisitas. Menurut Peraturan Menteri Kesehatan Republik Indonesia Nomor 007 Tahun 2012, obat tradisional tidak boleh mengandung bahan kimia obat yang merupakan hasil isolasi atau sintetik  berkualitas berkhasiat obat, narkotika atau psikotropika, dan bahan lain yang berdasarkan pertimbangan kesehatan dan berdasarkan penelitian yang membahayakan kesehatan. Tujuan kegiatan adalah memberikan edukasi bahaya bahan kimia obat didalam obat tradisional pada Siswa SMK Imelda Medan. Kegiatan dilaksanakan pada hari Senin tanggal 20 November 2023 di SMK  Imelda yang terletak di Kecamatan Medan Timur, Kota Medan. Peserta merupakan siswa SMK  Imelda Medan. Metode kegiatan ini berupa edukasi bahaya bahan kimia obat didalam obat tradisional di SMK  Imelda Hasil kegiatan nilai pre-test peserta adalah 61,75, hasil nilai rerata post-test peserta adalah,75,9, hal ini meunjukkan bahwa tingkat pengetahuan peserta tentang bahaya BKO didalam obat tradisional meningkat

Abstract

Pendidikan kejuruan memiliki peran yang sangat penting dalam membentuk tenaga kerja yang terampil dan siap menghadapi tuntutan industri. Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) PAB 3 Medan Estate, sebagai salah satu lembaga pendidikan kejuruan, berupaya untuk terus meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan melalui berbagai program inovatif. Salah satu upaya penting dalam konteks ini adalah pengembangan keterampilan siswa dalam analisis simultan obat multikomponen. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk mengimplementasikan metode analisis simultan obat multikomponen di SMK PAB 3 Medan Estate sebagai bagian dari program pengabdian kepada masyarakat. Kegiatan ini dilaksananakan pada tanggal 22 Mei 2024, di SMK PAB 3 Medan Estate, sebagai peserta adalah siswa SMK PAB 3 Medan Estate sebanyak 40 orang. Metode kegiatan ini terdiri dari tahap awal, tahap implementasi dan tahap evaluasi. Hasil evaluasi kegiatan nilai mean (rata-rata) post-test (73,25) lebih tinggi daripada nilai rata-rata pre-test (59,63), hal ini menunjukkan peningkatan kompetensi siswa setelah implementasi metode analisis simultan obat multikomponen. Median nilai post-test (75) juga lebih tinggi daripada median nilai pre-test (60), hal ini menunjukkan pergeseran nilai ke arah yang lebih tinggi. Implementasi metode analisis simultan obat multikomponen meningkatkan kompetensi siswa di SMK PAB 3 Medan Estate.

Abstract

The management of pharmaceutical supplies in the Pharmacy Installation of a hospital consists of nine aspects: selection, demand planning, procurement, acceptance, storage, distribution, destruction and withdrawal, control, and administration. This study aims to analyze the management of pharmaceutical supplies at a hospital in Medan in 2023 using a qualitative method through direct observation and in-depth interviews with both primary and secondary data. Interviews were conducted with nine informants, including key informants, main informants, and supporting informants. The results of the study indicate that, overall, the management of pharmaceutical supplies is functioning well but not yet optimal. Three aspects that have been well implemented are selection, destruction and withdrawal, and administration. Meanwhile, siSwasta di Kota Medan other aspects, such as planning, procurement, acceptance, storage, distribution, and control, have not been fully optimized. The issue of medication shortages can be addressed through collaboration with eSwasta di Kota Medanternal pharmacies. To improve management, it is recommended that the hospital enhance the storage facilities, which are currently inadequate, by providing appropriate pallets and involving all related parties to work together in improving the system, as well as conducting regular monitoring and evaluation.

Abstract

In the modern era which filled by development of information technology, hospital management information implementation systems have became very important to improve efficiency, transparency and security of services provided by hospitals. With the right investment and strong commitment, information systems can give the significant benefits for patients, medical staff and hospital management so that they can improve the quality of care and services hospital being better. Minister Regulation of Health Indonesia Number 82 of 2013 concerning Hospital Management Information Systems that hospitals have to implement HMIS. Muhammadiyah Medan Public Hospital has just implemented HMIS in January 2018. HMIS didn’t work well. The purpouse of this research is to analyze the implementation of Hospital Management Information Systems at Muhammdiyah Medan Public Hospital.This research is a qualitative descriptive study using the interview method. The main respondents in this study were 5 people including the director, head of HMIS installation, HMIS operator, registration operator and cashier, while the triangulation respondents were 3 recipients of health services.The result of the research shows that the implementation of HMIS at Muhamamdiyah Medan Public Hospital has not been optimal, because there were some problems such as uneven supply of computers, facilities and infrastructure, lack of HMIS human resources, frequent server disruptions, lack of rewards and punishment for staff, lack of training for the staff because the limited hospital management budget for HMIS. The results of the research is suggest for the hospital management allocate special budget for HMIS to complete the equipment and adjust HMIS human resources, and do the special training for HMIS human resources, giving rewards for those who carry out their duties well and punish those who neglect their duties so the quality of care and Services at Muhammadiyah Medan Public Hospital can be improved. Keywords:Management, Information, System,Hospital Dalam era modern yang dipenuhi dengan perkembangan teknologi informasi, sistem implementasi informasi manajemen rumah sakit menjadi sangat penting untuk meningkatkan efisiensi, transparansi, dan keamanan layanan yang disediakan oleh rumah sakit . Dengan investasi yang tepat dan komitmen yang kuat, sistem informasi dapat memberikan manfaat yang signifikan bagi pasien, staf medis, dan manajemen rumah sakit sehingga dapat meningkatkan kualitas Perawatan dan Pelayanan rumah sakit yang lebih baik. Peraturan Menteri Kesehatan Republik Indonesia Nomor 82 Tahun 2013 Tentang Sistem Informasi Manajemen Rumah Sakit menyebutkan rumah sakit sudah harus menerapkan SIMRS. RSU Muhammadiyah Medan baru menerapkan SIMRS pada Januari 2018. Sehingga penggunaan SIMRS belum maksimal. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk Menganalisis Implementasi Sistem Informasi Manajemen di Rumah Sakit di RSU Muhammdiyah Medan. Penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan metode wawancara. Informan utama dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 5 orang meliputi direktur, kepala instalasi SIMRS, operator SIMRS, operator pendaftaran dan kasir sedangkan informan triangulasi adalah penerima pelayanan kesehatan sebanyak 3 orang . Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Implementasi SIMRS di RSU Muhamamdiyah Medan belum maksimal terkait kendala seperti tidak meratanya persediaan komputer, sarana dan prasarana, kurangnya SDM SIMRS, sering terjadinya gangguan server, tidak adanya reward dan punishment bagi staf, kurangnya pelatihan karena terbatasnya anggaran Manajemen Rumah Sakit untuk SIMRS. Dari hasil penelitian disarankan agar pihak manajemen mengalokasikan dana khusus SIMRS dalam menyediakan segala kekurangan sarana dan prasarana, melakukan menambah SDM SIMRS, memberikan pelatihan khusus untuk SDM SIMRS, memberikan reward bagi yang menjalankan tugasnya dengan baik dan punishment bagi yang melalaikan tugasnya sehingga dapat meningkatkan kualitas Perawatan dan Pelayanan RSU.Muhammadiyah Medan. Abstract

According to the results of a 2018 study conducted by the Indonesian National Nurses Association (PPNI), around 50.9% of nurses working in hospitals report job exhaustion, regular headaches, and are unable to rest because the task is too heavy and time-consuming. A high workload is thought to reduce the occurrence of nursing services in inpatients. The purpose of this study is to investigate the impact of nurse workload on nursing services in inpatient rooms. This is a quantitative approach that employs analytic observational research with a cross-sectional design. The research was carried out at Dr. Fauziah Bireuen Regional General Hospital. The research population consisted of 226 persons, and the sample size was limited to 69 participants using random sampling. At multiple logistic regression 95% confidence level (a=0.05), the data were analyzed using univariate, bivariate using chi-square, and multivariate. Results: Nursing services in Class III Inpatient Room Dr. Fauziah Bireuen Regional General Hospital, influenced by quantitative workload (p=0.000 <0.05) and qualitative workload (p=0.000 <0.05). The most dominant factor affecting nursing services in this study was the qualitative workload variable. Qualitative workload is in the low category, the chance of good nursing services is 37.4 times higher than nurses who receive state the qualitative workload in the high category. In conclusion quantitative and qualitative workloads have an impact on nursing services.

Abstract

A healthy latrine coverage rate of 100% is the goal for the Krueng Sabee Health Center's access to proper sanitation program of the 11 villages in the Krueng Sabee Health Center's service area, 4 villages (36.36%) have access to healthy latrines, while 7 villages (63.64%) do not. The latrine ownership rate at the center is 36.36%, but this figure is still short of the target. Sampling approach used in combination study (mixed methodologies research) 95 samples were randomly selected using quantitative techniques, while 9 informants were chosen using qualitative techniques. Logistic regression tests were used to examine quantitative data on a univariate, bivariate, and multivariate basis. data that has been transformed into a qualitative form for presentation and conclusion-making. Quantitative research results: Logistic regression test results: education level OR= 3,452, income level OR= 80,695, knowledge OR= 4,717, attitude OR= 43,982 and social culture OR= 0.647, income level is the dominant independent variable that influences family latrine ownership with the OR value = 80,695. The results of the qualitative analysis show that the majority of families do not have toilets, due to low income levels. Conclusion: level of education, attitudes, social culture towards ownership. Interview results play an active role in providing information, counseling and explaining the importance of family latrine ownership. Village officials who facilitate support for latrine ownership allocate data on assistance for latrine construction in limited quantities. It is recommended that the Health Service evaluate and integrate related programs in increasing latrine coverage in its working areas.

Abstract

Introduction The Teunom Community Health Center experienced a significant decrease in JKN participants at the Teunom Community Health Center by 13,099 people, in 2021 there were 12,904 people, while the number in 2022 was 12,871 people.The research method is a cross sectional study approach. accidental sampling sample. Univariate, bivariate and multivariate quantitative data through logistic regression tests.The results of the research, univariate and bivariate tests of technical competence do not affect patient satisfaction, p-value= 0.140, access to services does not affect patient satisfaction, the value is p-value= 0.647, human relationships affect patient satisfaction p-value= 0.001, comfort affects patient satisfaction p-value= 0.0001, information does not influence patient satisfaction p-value= 0.731 and timeliness influences patient satisfaction p-value= 0.037. Based on multivariate relationships between people OR= 9.459, comfort OR= 10.903 and timeliness OR= 2.875 and the most dominant factor influencing patient satisfaction is the comfort variable with a value of OR = 6.600. In conclusion, the variables of human relations, comfort and timeliness, influence patient satisfaction. The variables technical competence, access to services and information do not influence outpatient satisfaction at the Teunom Community Health Center, Teunom District. factors influence patient satisfaction, human relations, comfort and timeliness. The dominant factor in patient satisfaction is the comfort variable.It is recommended that the Health Service analyze and evaluate the quality of services at the Puskesmas. For Puskesmas to improve the performance of motivation for employees to be friendlier in responding to and responding to patient complaints.

Abstract

Untuk membenahi permasalahan pembangunan kesehatan dilakukan melalui peningkatan kinerja pelayanan kesehatan dan pengembangan sumber daya manusia (SDM) baik jumlah, jenis, kualitas maupun distribusinya. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui pengadaan pendidikan, perencanaan kebutuhan, pendayagunaan dan pembinaan dan pengawasan mutu pengembangan SDM di UPTD Puskesmas Langsa Barat. Metode penelitian kualitatif metode studi kasus. Dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara mendalam (indepth interview) dengan para informan penelitian yaitu kepala puskesmas, KTU, KepalaPenjab UGD, KIA-KB, Poned, Rawat Inap, Gudang Farmasi, Poli Wanita, Poli Pria, Poli Anak, MTBS, Poli Mata, poli Gigi, dan Usila sebanyak 15 orang. Analisa pengumpulan data menggunakan data reduction, data display, dan conclusion or verification.Hasil penelitian bahwa perencanaan pengembangan diberikan pelatihan dan refresing namun kondisi SDMK masih belum terpenuhi akibat adanya kekurangan dan kelebihan kualifikasi pendidikan, pengadaan pelatihan untuk pengembangan SDMK terbatas pada tenaga kesehatan dan distribusinya masih belum merata pendayagunaan pengembangan dilaksanakan melalui pelatihan dan tidak ada tugas belajar, pembinaan dan pengawasan mutu melalui tercapinya indikator SPM dan untuk meningkatkan kinerja petugas insentif, pengembangan melalui pelatihan,diskusi dengan dokter, kekompakan sesama sejawat, kerjasama dengan lintas sectoral, pemenuhan sarana dan prasarana, penambahan staff dan pengurangan beban kerja petugas. Diharapkan pemerintah daerah/Dinas Kesehatan Langsa Barat melakukan kordinasi dan kerja sama untuk menetapkan penghitungan kebutuhan SDM dan perencanaan pengembangan SDMK sesuai dengan jumlah dan kualifikasi SDMK.Kata Kunci: kesehatan, sumber daya manusia, kinerja petugas                                   To fix the problems of the development of health is done through the improvement of the performance of health services and the expansion of the human resources (HR) the amount, type, quality and distribution. The study aimed to know the procurement of education, planning needs, pendayagunaan and the construction and supervision of the quality of the expansion of the SDM in UPTD health centers Langsa the West.This study was qualitative with case study. Data was collected through in-depth interviews with the informant research is the head of the health centers, KTU, the Head of the Penjab ER, KIA-KB, Poned, hospitalization, Pharmacy Warehouse, Poly Woman, Poly Man, Poli Anak, MTBS, Poly Eyes, poly Teeth, and the Usila by 15 people. Analysis data used data reduction, data display, and conclusion or verification.The results showed that the planning of the development of the training provided and refreshing, but the condition of human resources still have not been fulfilled due to the advantages and disadvantages of educational qualification, procurement training for the development of SDMK limited to health workers and the distribution is still not evenly distributed utilization of the development was implemented through training and no task learning, coaching and quality control through tercapinya MSS indicators and to improve the performance of the officer incentives, development through training, discussion with the doctor, the compactness of fellow peers, cooperation with cross-sectoral, fulfillment infrastructure, the addition of staff and a reduction in the workload of officers.Expected local government of Health Centre coordinate and work together to set the counting needs of human resources and development planning SDMK in accordance with the number and qualifications of SDMK.Keywords: health, human resources, officer performance

Abstract

Tenaga kesehatan memberikan kontribusi hingga 80% dalam keberhasilan pembangunan kesehatan. Menurut data laporan capaian kinerja pegawai kesehatan di Indonesia tahun 2019 masih belum tercapai dengan baik, dimana dari target capaian kinerja 100% hanya sekitar 54% saja yang tercapai. Masalah yang terjadi di Dinas Kesehatan Kota Langsa yaitu pegawai yang sesuai dengan bidangnya masih terbatas dan sebagian besar beberapa seksi terpaksa menggunakan pegawai yang lain yang mampu memberikan bantuan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis manajemen kepegawaian memengaruhi capaian kinerja Dinas Kesehatan Kota Langsa. Desain penelitian yang digunakan penelitian kualitatif. Karakteristik informan kunci adalah kepala bidang pencegahan dan pengendalian penyakit, kepala bidang kesehatan masyarakat dan kepala bidang sumber daya kesehatan, sedangkan informan utama yaitu pegawai. Teknik pengumpulan data kualitatif menggunakan metode Triangulasi. Analisis data menggunakan deskriftif kualitatif dengan tahapan data triangulasi teknik, sumber dan waktu. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan perencanaan, pengarahan dan pengendalian sudah berjalan dengan baik, sedangkan pengorganisasian belum berjalan secara efektif. Kejadian yang terjadi pada variabel pengorganisasian yaitu pegawai merangkap 2 atau 3 program pekerjaan, yang sebenarnya bukan dibidangnya. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah perencanaan, pengarahan dan pengendalian sudah berjalan dengan baik, sedangkan pengorganisasian belum berjalan secara efektif.Diharapkan perlu meningkatkan pengorganisasian kepegawaian meliputi pekerjaan-pekerjaan yang harus dilakukan, pengelompokan tugas-tugas dan membagi-bagikan pekerjaan kepada setiap pegawai, penetapan pembagian tugas (subsistem) sesuai dengan tupoksi para pegawai serta penentuan hubungan-hubungan antar pegawai.Kata Kunci: Manajemen, Pegawai, Kinerja Kerja, KesehatanHealth workers contribute up to 80% in the success of health development. The purpose of this study was to analyze personnel management influencing the performance of the Langsa City Health Office. The research design used was qualitative research. Characteristics of key informants are the head of disease prevention and control, head of public health and head of health resources, while the main informants are employees. Qualitative data collection techniques using the Triangulation method. Data analysis used qualitative descriptive with data triangulation stages of technique, source and time. The results showed that planning, directing and controlling had been going well, while the organization had not been running effectively. Events that occur in the organizing variable are employees concurrently 2 or 3 work programs, which are not actually in their fields. The conclusion of this study is that planning, direction and control have been going well, while the organization has not run effectively. (subsystem) in accordance with the duties of the employees and the determination of the relationships between employees.Keywords: Management, Employees, Work Performance, Health
