Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of social media and financial motivation on the investment behavior of young investors, with capital market literacy serving as a mediating variable. The research targets young investors aged 18–30 years who are actively engaged in the Indonesian capital market. Employing a quantitative approach, the study collected data through a survey of 218 young investors and analyzed the data using Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) with SmartPLS 3. The findings reveal that both social media and financial motivation have a positive and significant effect on capital market literacy. Social media also exerts positive influence on investor behavior, while financial motivation does not have a direct effect on investor behavior. Capital market literacy demonstrates the most substantial impact on young investors’ behavior and significantly mediates the relationship between social media and financial motivation with investment behavior. These results underscore the critical role of capital market literacy in transforming information and motivation into rational investment actions. This study provides both theoretical and practical contributions toward fostering a more intelligent and sustainable investment ecosystem among Indonesia’s young generation.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the impact of capital structure, investment decisions, liquidity, and firm size on firm value with profitability as a moderating variable. This study uses quantitative methods with secondary data from companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The population in this study is infrastructure companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2021 to 2024. The sample was determined using a purposive sampling technique with a total of 112 observations. This study uses panel data regression analysis with the STATA 17 application. The result of data processing states that capital structure influences firm value. Investment decisions, liquidity, and company size cannot influence the value of the company in the infrastructure sector. Profitability is able to moderate the effect of capital structure and investment decisions on firm value. Still, it is unable to moderate the effect of liquidity and firm size on firm value. This study proves that to increase firm value, management must be able to manage capital and increase company profits to attract investors.

Abstract

Capital structure is one of the important aspects in corporate finance since it displays the business’s policy in choosing financing sources. This study examines how capital structure is impacted by profitability, asset structure, and company size, specifically emphasizing businesses in the consumer non-cyclicals sector. The study uses quantitative analysis, the population consists of 132 companies in the consumer non-cyclicals category that were listed on the IDX between 2020-2023, with sampling using a purposive sampling technique, which resulted in 47 companies. This analysis uses multiple linear regression with SPSS 25. Consequently, capital structure is significantly impacted negatively by profitability, whereas asset structure and firm size are significantly impacted favorably. This result is consistent with the trade-off theory and pecking order theories, which hold that profitable businesses typically use internal funding, while asset structure and company size become collateral to obtain external funding. Companies are encouraged to increase their revenue and income streams. For Investors, before extending credit or making investment decisions, lenders and potential investors should carefully assess the company's profitability ratio, asset configuration, and overall size.

Abstract

Capital structure is the ratio or composition of debt and equity used to finance a company's operational activities. Capital structure reflects long-term decisions related to funding sources and is an important factor in determining a company's risk and return. This study examines the influence of profitability, liquidity, company size, and asset structure on capital structure in the property and real estate sector listed in Indonesia. The population in this study consists of 94 companies in the property and real estate sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2021 to 2023. Data collection was conducted using the secondary method, employing purposive sampling and unbalanced data, resulting in a sample of 58 companies with 139 observations. The data were analyzed quantitatively using descriptive statistics. The results of this study indicate that profitability and asset structure do not influence capital structure. Liquidity has a negative impact on capital structure. Company size has a positive impact on capital structure. Based on the research findings, property and real estate companies should not rely on profitability and asset structure to determine their capital structure. Companies should focus on liquidity and company size, as higher liquidity reduces dependence on debt financing.

Abstract

Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) is voluntary behavior that supports the effectiveness of the organization. Factors that affect OCB teachers in Islamic educational institutions need to be studied to improve the quality of learning. This study aims to analyze the influence of Islamic Leadership, Work-life Balance, and Organizational Culture on Organizational Citizenship Behavior by Mediating Job Satisfaction in teachers of Islamic educational institutions. The research method uses a quantitative approach with survey design. The research population is 164 teachers with 101 teachers who are determined through purposive sampling with a minimum working period of 2 years. The analysis tool used is Partial Least Square (PLS) with a standard of alpha significance of ten percent. The results of the study show that Islamic Leadership and Organizational Culture have a significant positive effect on OCB. Organizational Culture also has a significant positive effect on Job Satisfaction, which then affects OCB. On the other hand, Islamic Leadership has no significant effect on Job Satisfaction, and Work-life Balance does not have a significant effect on Job Satisfaction or OCB. Job Satisfaction mediates the relationship between Organizational Culture and OCB. The implications of the study show that strengthening Organizational Culture is the main strategy in improving teachers' OCB, both directly and through increasing Job Satisfaction. Islamic leadership effectively encourages OCB directly.
