Abstract

This study was conducted on 24 April to 7 May 2013, which took place in the village of Lohong. The purpose of this study was to assess the stability of the boat with and without the use of cadik over the stability curve Hidromax software. The method used in this study is asurvey method. Boat primary measure obtained is 8 m LOA, LPP 6 m, 7 m LWL, loaded 0.6 m,0.8 m high and 1 m wide boat. results of the analysis indicate that the boat using cadik rate stability is better than that not using cadik boats, where the maximum heigh tis 0,429 GZ cadik boats rad m-high and boats without cadik GZ is 0.262 m-rad, the difference is caused by the addition of cadik because the cadik on the boat could improve the stability of the boat and if the boat motion, cadik also reserve buoyancy for the boatKeywords: stability of the boat, cadik, software Hidromax

Abstract

ABSTRACK                This research takes Kuala Terusan Village as a case study on the study of fishing port facilities requirement. On February 2018 a measurement was conducted, aim to find out type and size or capacity fishing ports facilities which need tousing survey method. The village of Kuala Terusan is one of seven villages in Pangkalan Kerinci sub-district. Kuala Terusan village is a village that has a river in the upstream, this is why the river does not have a wave. Asresult of analysis of secondary data and primary that we conducted, requirement of facility landing place of fish are needed several facilities namelydock unloading, place of fish auction, fresh or clean air tank, oil fuel tank, shipyard and ice storage. Therefore, based on the researach finding, fishery port of Kuala Terusan village can be classified as an upstream river port. Upper River Port is a port located on a deep and wide river so that the vessel can enter upstream. Furthermore, the result of the research indicated that the length of loading docks required is 72.50 meters, 16.35meter length unloading dock. Extensive fish auction hall 50.9 meter2, capacity needs supplies [B1] amounting to fuel around [B2] 549 liters, 3394.5 liters fresh water tank and capacity 858 kilograms ice plants. From the results obtained that fishing ports be recommended is of type D is referred to as Fish Landing Base (PPI) or Fish Landing Place.Type jetty dock built will form a letter T which has a length of 72.50 meters, but due to location to be built dock is in the waters of the river that has a distance of 80 to 90 meters. Therefore the size of the dock to be built is divided into two and widen the size of the dock area so that can be used on the left and right side of the pier, with the length of the dock to be 36.25 meters. Keywords : Facility Type, Size Facilities, Fishing Port

Abstract

ABSTRACT This research was conducted in April 5 to May 15, 2017in Laboratory of Fishing Gear Material of Aquatic Resources Faculty of Fisheries and Marine University of Riau, Pekanbaru. The purpose of this research is to know how long the fishing gear of PE (Polyethylene) net yarn can be used in the waters. The method used in this research is the experimental method, the result data for changes of the length net yarn is processed using the formula according with SNI 08-0889-1989 and then analyzed by using T-test. From the results of research undertaken according to SNI 08-0889-1989 that the PE threads changed the length of the net yarn after soaking in sea water and fresh water. Long change of net yarn soaked in seawater and fresh water changes on day 40 and day 50, while the net threads of unhesitized PE do not change the length of the net yarn on the 10th day until the 50th day. Meanwhile, if seen from statistical analysis by using T test comparison of PE threads soaked in sea water and fresh water on the 10th day until the 30th day has the value of Ho accepted because there is no difference in yarn length change, whereas on day 40 and day The 50th Ho is rejected due to differences in the length of the yarn change.
