Abstract

ABSTRACT Payang is seine net used for catching schooling fish (pelagic fish) on the surface of the water. Both wings are useful for scaring or surprising and herding fish into bags. The method of  operation is to encircle the fish hordes and then the bag is pulled to the boat. The purpose of this study was to determine the composition of the catch of the fishing gear payang in the morning and afternoon. This research was conducted on 25 february – 03 march 2019 in the waters Pasalaban Southern Bungus Padang West Sumatera. The method used in this study is a survey method with direct data collection. The type of cacth is payang fishing gear is tuna fish (Euthynnus affinis), kapak fish (Mene maculata), skipjack tuna (Katsuwonus pelamis), barred mackerel fish (Scomberomorini comersinii), anchovy (Stelephorus sp), pompano fish (Caranx ignobilis), and long jawed mackerel (Rastrelliger sp). Total catch weight in the morning is 75,63 kg and catch wieght in the afternoon is 132,34 kg. The number of individuals caught in the morning is 1.194 tails and in the afternoon is 1.092 tails. The number of individuals in the morning is more than the amount of the time in the afternoon and for the total weight of the catch in the afternoon more obtained from the morning.Key Word:Payang, composition of fishing gear, Bungus, Padang, West Sumatera

Abstract

Abstract: Village of West Bagan is a village with a population of the second largest fishermen in the district of Bangko, RokanHilir, Riau Province. Fishermen of the West Bagan village, land and sell their catch in private mediators. However, the facilities available are not enough to meet the needs of fishing supplies consisting of fuel, fresh water and ice. Therefore, this research with survey method was undertaken to obtain the development strategy of the facility by using SWOT analysis. From 9 units mediator were still active, taken 3 units mediator as representatives of large, medium, and small category namely are consecutevely Jumadi mediator, Lausi mediator, dan Asmara mediator. Based on SWOT analysis has been done on each of the mediators obtained one most likely to be develop is mediator Jumadi. In the diagram strategy, mediator Jumadi located in quadrant I with the highest coordinate value, which is a provitable situation. Recommendations strategyis progressive, which means the mediator has the opportunity and the power that can take advantage of existing opportunities. Abstract

A series survey activity was carried out for evaluating management function atlabuanhaji fishing port, South Aceh regency. This research was emphasis on planning, organizing, action and controlling at management pattern of labuhanhaji fishing port. The facilities of fishing port data and daily activities description of staff at labuhanhaji fishing port was used as additional information and consideration in management of labuhanhaji fishing port. Lack of good management was impact on staff and controlling, nevertheless activities at labuhanhaji fishing port is going well.Keywords: Labuhanhaji fishing port, management, South Aceh Regency

Abstract

ABSTRACT A series survey activities was conducted on July 9th – 17th , 2018 at Carocok Tarusan fishing port, Pesisir Selatan. The purpose of this study is to abtain data and information about contribution of Carocok Tarusan fishing port on fisheries sector in West Sumatera Province. By using survey method, the result showed that the contribution of fishing port in fisheries sector was shown number of fishing boat were1,37% - 2,05%, number of fishing gear were 1,06% - 2,12%, number of boat lift net were 6,78%-8,65%, large net 6,98%-10,68%, troll line 1,76%-2,56% and Gillnet 0,75%-1,36%, number of fisherman were 7,21% - 8,20%, number of fisheries production 4,36% - 5,49% and number of production value were 8,22% - 9,48%. Keywords :Contibution, Carocok Tarusan Fishing Port, Fishery Sector

Abstract

This research was conducted in December 2013 at the street Yos Sudarso Number.50 Village Sungailiat, District Sungailiat, Bangka, Bangka Belitung Province. The purpose of this study was to determine the types of facilities as well as the size and condition of the facilities in the archipelago Sungailiat fishing port, determine the level of utilization of fishing port facilities in the archipelago Sungailiat and find solutions to the problems of utilization of fishing port facilities in the archipelago Sungailiat. While the benefits are expected to know the truth from the facility, activity in the archipelago Sungailiat fishing port as well as a source of information for the fishing port of the archipelago and the subsequent research, especially in areas related ie Evaluation Utilization Facilities Archipelago Fishery Port Sungailiat province of Bangka Belitung. Facilities that have analyzed the utilization rate is 26.57% pier, harbor pool facilities, spacious pools to the port that is 95.29%, while the depth of the pool is 129% port, the fuel tank facilities utilization rate is 4.78%, the ice needs facilities utilization rate was 81.42%, and freshwater facilities utilization rate is 126.90%.Keywords: Facility Type, Condition of Facilities, Facilities Utilization Rate, Fishing Port Facilities Archipelago Sungailiat

Abstract

                                                     Abstrak               Syahbandar is the forefront of a fishing port in direct service to fishermen. In carrying out its duties, syahbandar must have guidance and reference so that the activities carried out can be run properly as expected, SOP role to facilitate the activity of an activity, it is necessary research about the application of SOP in syahbandar fishery port. This study aims to determine whetherKesyahbandaran in Bungus Ocean Fishery Port has implemented Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) as a reference in carrying out its duties. The research was conducted at Bungus Ocean Fishing Port. This research uses survey method that is doing direct observation in the field. The result of research shows that the absorption of soup in syahbandar pps bungus has not fully applied maximally. This is influenced by some fundamental things. This is caused by the lack of socialization between the officers of syahbandar and the fishermen about the soup in syahbandar, the lack of qualified personnel in the field of fishery, the knowledge of fishermen about the technology to make the arrangement of shti and logbook not running properly, the length of the extension of the extension of the SIPI, the lack of facilities and infrastructure for the activities and smooth tasks kesyahbandaran especially internet network access is still often problematic. Keywords: Standard operational procedures, Syahbandar, Fishery Port,

Abstract

For purpose to identify type, capacity and condition of the facilities, as well as to evaluate thefacilities utilization level at Tiku fishing port. Series survey activities were conducted at Tikufishing port, Agam regency, West Sumatera Province during April 2013. The result shows that theTiku fishing port had complete facilities such as basic, functional and supporting facility.Nevertheless, we were identified the malfunction and useless facilities at Tiku fishing port, such asfresh water tank, cold storage, and fish market hall. The calculation of facilities utilization level was109.35% for fuel tank, 81.48% for Ice and 48.4% for fish market hall.Keywords : Basic facility, functional facility, supporting facility, facilities utilization level, Tikufishing port facilities

Abstract

This research was conducted in March until April 2017 at Fishery Portof Nusantara Palabuhanratu West Java Province. The purpose of this research is toknow the cause of difference of fish landing implementation in PPNPalabuhanratu with guidance of fishery landing fishery management ofDirectorate of Infrastructure. The method used in this research is survey method,that is by observing the elements - elements and management functions associatedwith fish landing facilities and activities in the VAT Palabuhanratu. From theresults of the research indicate that there are differences in the implementation offish landing activity in the VAT Palabuhanratu with guidance of fish landingmethod Directorate of Infrastructure Development. First, the ships that will bedocked will be given the queue number and the officer determines the demolitionsite, but the ship is closing its vessel on the dock unloading without thesupervision of the port officer. Secondly, the ship landed the fish at the frontloading pier of TPI and when it was completed the demolition of the vessel wassupposed to be transferred to the boat mooring dock, but that happened finishedunloading the catch, the ship was not directly transferred to the parking lot of theship, but parked his ship on the dock Unloading it. Abstract

                                                   ABSTRACTThe Dumai Fish Landing Base is the only active fishing port used in Dumai City so it should be able to accommodate all the activities carried out by fishermen in Dumai City in order to be able to increase fisheries production. Therefore, to see the quality of service activities for its functional facilities, it is necessary to know whether in its service, managers and fishermen make Standard Operating Procedures as the standard rules and with the application of existing Standard Operating Procedures, whether fishermen are satisfied. The purpose of this study is to determine the quality of service activities for functional facilities. The study was conducted at the Dumai Fish Landing Base on March 25 - April 6, 2019. The method used in this study was a survey method, which was conducted by collecting facility data, organizational structure, Standard Operating Procedures and Implementing Standard Operating Procedures. Data collection is carried out at the Fish Auction, Ice Factory and SPDN facilities. After analyzing the data with the Guttman scale and the Likert scale, the results show that the implementation of Standard Operating Procedures in the three functional facilities is applied 100%. While the quality of service at the Fish Auction Place facilities is 68.98% (good), the Ice Factory facility is 43.86% (not good) and the SPDN facility is 99.52% (very good). Key word: Fishing Port, Dumai Fishing Port, Standard Operating Procedure, Service Quality

Abstract

                       AbstrakThis research was conducted from 30 April -14 May 2019 at the Sibolga Fisheries Port. The method used is a survey method. The purpose of this study was to study the level of efficiency of the fish landing time on the mooring fishing purse seiner in the PPNSibolga and the factors that influence it. The results showed that the level of fish landing time efficiency was between 63.77% - 87.58% with an average of 74.38% which meant it was less efficient. There were six independent variables that streamlined the fish landing time according to the amount needed to unload, last long unloading, ship size, pier loading distance, catch, time wasted. with a value (R = 0.877), it means that the independent variable can contribute to the difference in the value of the loading time efficiency of 87.7% and 12.3% of the settings by other independent variables that are not in accordance with this study.Keyword :Fishing port, mooring time, time efficiency, purse seiner
