Abstract

This study aims to develop Flipping book media in behavioral self-management counseling to improve the discipline of slow learner students. The media is utilized within behavioral counseling services. The research method employed is the ADDIE development model, which consists of five stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementarion, and Evaluation. The research subjects were slow learner students experiencing difficulties in learning discipline. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and questionnaires. The validity test results conducted by media experts, material experts, and practitioners indicate that the web-based flipping book media is feasible and valid for use. Effectiveness analysis using the Wilcoxon Signed Rank test shows a significant difference before and after the intervention. Thus, the use of flipping book media in behavioral self-management counseling services is proven effective in improving the discipline of slow learner students.

Abstract

Education is one of the most important aspects in building Indonesia's golden generation. Ki Hajar Dewantara's philosophy, with its concepts of Tri No and Tri Nga, provides a strong foundation for emphasizing the importance of developing a complete Indonesian generation that is cultured, civilized, and of superior quality. This article aims to analyze the role of Ki Hajar Dewantara's Tri No and Tri Nga philosophy as the foundation of education in creating Indonesia's golden generation. These concepts will be explained in the context of the Second Principle of Pancasila (Just and Civilized Humanity), which emphasizes the importance of creating diversity awareness and a sense of togetherness. This study uses a literature review approach to explore a deeper understanding of Ki Hajar Dewantara's contribution to education in Indonesia. The combination of Ki Hajar Dewantara's Tri No and Tri Nga philosophies results in three important stages in shaping the foundation and character of children's education. Ki Hajar Dewantara's Tri No and Tri Nga educational philosophies are an important foundation for the formation of individuals with character, morals, and the ability to live harmoniously in a diverse society, which is the core of the Second Principle of Pancasila. This philosophy promotes learning that not only enhances academic intelligence but also character development.

Abstract

Autisme Spectrum Disorder (ASD) adalah gangguan perkembangan saraf yang ditandai oleh tantangan dalam interaksi sosial, komunikasi, serta pola perilaku yang repetitif dan terbatas. Peserta didik dengan autisme sering kali memperlihatkan perilaku maladaptif seperti agresi, tantrum, dan melukai diri sendiri, yang mengganggu kemajuan keterampilan sosial mereka. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media digital My Stories Book yang berbasis flipbook guna mengurangi perilaku maladaptif pada siswa autis. Metode yang diterapkan adalah Research and Development (R&D) menggunakan model ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implement, Evaluate), tetapi penelitian ini hanya mencapai tahap pengembangan (development). Media telah divalidasi oleh pakar materi, ahli media, dan praktisi dengan menggunakan skala Likert. Hasil validasi menunjukkan persentase kelayakan sebesar 85% (ahli materi), 75% (ahli media), dan 87,5% (praktisi), yang mengindikasikan bahwa media ini layak digunakan. My Stories Book dirancang dengan tiga sub-topik cerita sosial yang disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan peserta didik autis di SLB Negeri Gedangan Sidoarjo. Media ini diharapkan dapat berfungsi sebagai alternatif intervensi yang efektif dalam mengurangi perilaku maladaptif serta meningkatkan keterampilan sosial siswa autis.

Abstract

Panduan  self care untuk anak autistic spectrum disorder berbasis aplikasi mobile learning  sebagai sarana pengembangan panduan  self care untuk anak autistic spectrum disorder. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan spesifikasi Produk panduan  self care untuk anak autistic spectrum disorder berbasis aplikasi mobile learning dengan : (1) menguji kevalidan atau kelayakan produk panduan  self care untuk anak autistic spectrum disorder berbasis aplikasi mobile learning, (2) dan kepraktisan produk panduan parenting self care untuk anak autistic spectrum disorder berbasis aplikasi mobile learning. Dalam penelitian ini, bila ditinjau dari tahapan penelitian menggunakan metode penelitian Research and Development (R & D)  dengan mengadaptasi  model 4D yaitu define, desighn, develop, dan disseminate. Penelitian ini menggunakan tiga tahapan define, design, dan develop. dengan teknik pengumpulan data dengan kuisioner, dan teknik analisis data menggunakan penghitungan skor rata-rata. Uji validasi dilakukan oleh ahli media dan ahli materi. Uji validitas ahli media menyimpulkan bahwa produk memperoleh 100% berada pada kategori sangat layak. Sedangkan, uji validitas materi memperoleh 88% berada pada kategori sangat layak.  Hasil uji kepraktisan dari 4 responden mendapatkan hasil rata-rata 87% sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengembangan panduan  self care untuk anak autistic spectrum disorder berbasis aplikasi mobile learning layak dan mudah digunakan oleh orang tua. Abstract

The flipped classroom learning strategy provides opportunities and support for students with special needs to construct knowledge, complete assignments, and learn life skills learning materials in a comfortable, independent atmosphere according to their potential and needs and through various media, including videos, books, and the internet. The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of the flipped classroom on improving the life skills of students with special needs. This research design is one group pre-test-post-test design. The research subjects were students with special needs at the Extraordinary High School in Surabaya. Data collection using performance tests. Data analysis used the Wilcoxon marked level test (match pairs test). The results showed that the life skills of students with special needs after implementing the flipped classroom were better than before learning with the flipped classroom. Based on the results of the analysis of research data with a significance level of 0.05, the results obtained Zh = 2.52 is greater than the Z table value of 1.96 (Zh > Zt). This means that there is an effect of the flipped classroom on the learning outcomes and life skills of special needs students.

Abstract

Di era digital, teknologi asistif sangat diperlukan oleh siswa tunarungu dalam proses pembelajaran. Penggunaan media pembelajaran seperti Google Sites menjadi krusial, untuk mendukung pembelajaran berbasis digital kreatif, serta menstimulasi kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa yang menjadi modalitas dalam mata pelajaran IPAS pada materi tumbuhan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran E-Learning yang diakses melalui Google Sites dengan mengintegrasikan aplikasi Canva dan Wordwall melalui pembelajaran interaktif yang disematkan dalam halaman Google Sites. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian pengembangan (R&D) dengan model 4D Thiagarajan (Define, Design, Development, Dissemination), yang dilakukan sampai pada tahap Development. Subjek uji kelayakan adalah ahli media, ahli materi, dan praktisi pendidikan khusus. Instrumen penelitian berbentuk angket untuk mengukur kelayakan media E-Learning dalam beberapa aspek utama termasuk aspek kesesuaian materi dengan capaian pembelajaran, aspek tampilan desain media, serta aspek kemudahan penggunaan media. Data dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif kuantitatif-kualitatif persentase. Berdasarkan hasil uji kelayakan oleh para ahli dan praktisi, menunjukkan media E-Learning yang dikembangkan layak digunakan bagi siswa tunarungu dengan hasil dari ahli materi sebesar 82,92% dengan kriteria sangat layak, dan ahli media sebesar 84,03% dengan kategori sangat layak. Serta praktisi sebesar 82,71% dengan kategori sangat layak. Implikasi hasil penelitian bahwa E-Learning berbasis Google Sites mengakomodasi kemampuan tunarungu dalam mempelajari materi IPAS Tumbuhan dengan memanfaatkan kekuatan visual sebagai modalitas dalam memproses informasi.

Abstract

Learners with physical disabilities often face significant challenges in accessing learning media, especially conventional printed learning media. Conventional paper-based learning media often cannot accommodate the specific needs of learners with physical disabilities. Meanwhile, learning media in digital format that are not designed with adequate keyboard navigation accessibility features will also create major barriers for learners with physical disabilities to be able to access them. Consequently, students with physical disabilities are at significant risk of falling behind academically and may struggle to fully realize their potential. To address this issue, the present study focuses on the development of a digital flipbook tailored to the educational needs of students with physical impairments, specifically for the topic of the human digestive system. This investigation adopts a Research and Development (RD) methodology, limited to the development phase. Data were gathered through questionnaires, and a combination of quantitative and qualitative descriptive methods was employed for analysis. The validation of the learning media's appropriateness involved experts in instructional media, content specialists, and field practitioners. The findings from the validation process indicate that the digital flipbook created for teaching the digestive system achieved an 83% feasibility rating, categorized as “highly appropriate.” In summary, the study concludes that the digital flipbook is highly suitable for facilitating the learning of students with physical disabilities on the topic of the human digestive system.

Abstract

Individuals with intellectual disabilities often face cognitive limitations in understanding abstract social boundaries, increasing their vulnerability to sexual deviance. This study aims to develop Augmented Reality (AR) media that provide concrete 3D visualizations, addressing the gap in safe, interactive sex education for this population. This research followed the ADDIE model, prioritizing Safe Content Design and Universal Design for Learning (UDL). The approach ensures that materials are cognitively accessible and socially appropriate for students with mild intellectual disabilities. Expert validation confirmed high feasibility with scores of 92% (media) and 87% (content). Field testing showed 90% practicality and a significant increase in effectiveness, with an N-gain score of 0.71. These results suggest that AR effectively bridges the cognitive gap by allowing repetitive simulations of social "Safe Zones" without triggering inappropriate arousal.

Abstract

Anak slow learner memerlukan media pembelajaran yang tepat guna membantu mereka dalam memahami konsep-konsep dasar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang serta mengembangkan sebuah media pembelajaran digital berbentuk busy book yang ditujukan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan kognitif siswa slow learner. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE, yang mencakup lima tahapan utama, yaitu analisis, perancangan, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa sekolah dasar yang tergolong slow learner. Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa busy book digital memiliki tampilan yang menarik serta dilengkapi dengan fitur interaktif yang disesuaikan dengan karakteristik dan kebutuhan siswa. Validasi dari ahli materi menunjukkan persentase kelayakan sebesar 87%, sementara validasi dari ahli media memperoleh skor masing-masing sebesar 91,25% dan 93,75%, yang seluruhnya termasuk dalam kategori sangat layak. Oleh karena itu, media busy book digital ini terbukti efektif, menyenangkan, dan memberikan pengalaman belajar yang bermakna bagi anak-anak slow learner.

Abstract

People with Autism or Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) are someone who has a developmental disorder that affects several aspects such as speech, communication, social interaction, sensory, behavior and emotions when learning from experiences with the surrounding environment. Autistic children tend to behave differently from people in general, seem to not care about the environment around them and prefer to be alone as if they live in their own world. The aim of this research is to obtain data that provides an overview of how outing class activities are implemented as a means of improving social interaction skills in autistic students. This research design uses descriptive research with a qualitative approach. In the data collection process, the instruments chosen by researchers were interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis researchers used the data analysis technique of the Miles and Huberman model in Sugiyono (2017) which consists of 3 stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The research results show that the description of the implementation of outing class learning starts from preparation to follow-up. Preparation consists of preparing tools and materials as well as planning the implementation of learning. Meanwhile, the implementation is carried out in accordance with the learning implementation plans that have been implemented previously. The follow-up to the outing class learning is an evaluation of the implementation of the learning to improve further learning objectives.
