Abstract

Pendidikan merupakan hal terpenting dalam hidup manusia. tanpa terkecuali disabilitas. dalam perjalannya, pemanfaatan teknologi menjadi hal yang krusial yang dapat memaksimalkan potensi mereka. Metode dalam penelitian ini adalah PTK (penelitian tindakan kelas) yang dirancang dalam 4 tahapan, yakni perencanaan, tindakan, observasi dan revleksi yang dilakukan dalam 2 siklus yang berbeda. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah 2 peserta didik tunanetra SLB-A YPAB, Tegalsari, kota surabaya, dengan kriteria telah mengenal computer namun masih belum bisa mengetik secara optimal serta dalam rentang usia dan kelas yang sama. Pendekatan analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan membandingkan tiap siklus yang dilakukan (siklus I dengan siklus II) dengan kriteria ketuntasan yang telah di tetapkan. Instrument yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini dirancang untuk mengumpulkan data tentang aktifitas peserta didik dalam mengetik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan hasil belajar dari yang pada siklus I sebesar 60,2% menjadi 85,6% pada siklus II.

Abstract

The flipped classroom learning strategy provides opportunities and support for students with special needs to construct knowledge, complete assignments, and learn life skills learning materials in a comfortable, independent atmosphere according to their potential and needs and through various media, including videos, books, and the internet. The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of the flipped classroom on improving the life skills of students with special needs. This research design is one group pre-test-post-test design. The research subjects were students with special needs at the Extraordinary High School in Surabaya. Data collection using performance tests. Data analysis used the Wilcoxon marked level test (match pairs test). The results showed that the life skills of students with special needs after implementing the flipped classroom were better than before learning with the flipped classroom. Based on the results of the analysis of research data with a significance level of 0.05, the results obtained Zh = 2.52 is greater than the Z table value of 1.96 (Zh > Zt). This means that there is an effect of the flipped classroom on the learning outcomes and life skills of special needs students.

Abstract

Pelatihan keterampilan pembuatan batik shibori bagi Atlet Paralimpik Sidoarjo merupakan salah satu bagian dari Program Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) UNESA yang bertujuan sebagai upaya peningkatan keterampilan vokasional. Pelatihan ini juga dimaksudkan untuk membuka peluang berwirausaha sehingga dapat meningkatkan perekonomian para atlet, baik atlet yang masih aktif maupun telah purna. Dalam program pelatihan ini diikuti oleh 10 atlet paralimpik yang tergabung dalam National Paralympic Committee (NPC) Sidoarjo. Pelatihan ini dilatarbelakangi oleh beberapa faktor, diantaranya sebagian besar atlet belum mempunyai perencanaan usaha setelah masa kejayaan sebagai atlet usai. Batik shibori dipilih sebagai salah satu produk yang dapat dikembangkan sebagai ide berwirausaha karena selain proses pembuatan yang tidak membutuhkan alat kompleks, bahan baku pembuatan batik shibori yang mudah ditemui, serta dapat dipelajari dengan mudah dari berbagai sumber. Selain itu, saat ini batik shibori banyak digemari karena motif yang unik, warna yang cenderung cerah, serta dinilai cocok digunakan oleh setiap jenjang usia. Pelatihan ini dilaksanakan dengan metode metode tatap muka dengan pendekatan keterampilan experimental learning dan on the job training sehingga para atlet dapat langsung mencoba bereksperiman dalam pembuatan batik shibori. Dalam pelatihan ini, para atlet juga dibekali dengan berbagai teori mengenai sejarah, cara pembuatan, serta berbagai teknik pembuatan batik shibori yang dapat menghasilkan motif yang beranekaragam. Shibori Batik Making Skills Training For Sidoarjo Paralympic Athletes The training of shibori batik making skills for Sidoarjo Paralympic Athletes is one part of the UNESA Community Service Program (PKM) which aims to improve vocational skills. This training is also intended to open entrepreneurial opportunities so as to improve the economy of athletes, both active and retired athletes. The training program was attended by 10 paralympic athletes who are members of the National Paralympic Committee (NPC) Sidoarjo. This training was motivated by several factors, including most of the athletes do not have business plans after the heyday as athletes is over. Shibori batik was chosen as one of the products that can be developed as an entrepreneurial idea because in addition to the manufacturing process that does not require complex tools, the raw materials for making shibori batik are easy to find, and can be learned easily from various sources. In addition, shibori batik is currently popular because of its unique motifs, colors that tend to be bright, and is considered suitable for use by every age level. This training is carried out using a face-to-face method with an experimental learning and on the job training skills approach so that athletes can directly try to experiment in making shibori batik. In this training, athletes are also provided with various theories about the history, how to make, and various techniques for making shibori batik that can produce diverse motifship

Abstract

Children with special needs can be interpreted as children who are slow or have disorders (retarded) who will never succeed in school for children in general. Children with special needs can also be interpreted as children who have physical, mental, intelligence and emotional disorders so that special learning is required. Children with special needs have a classification, namely physical disorders, mental disorders, behavioral disorders. Children with Special Needs (ABK) are increasingly being found day by day. ABK who appear are not only those who are slow to understand lessons slow learners, stand out / gifted or berkabat, but also those who are hyperactive, autistic and other types of ABK. The importance of handling students in the ABK category is very necessary because the success of basic education is very important for students to be able to continue their education at the next level, therefore, teachers in schools need to be given insight, introduction and training about ABK knowledge and methods of handling it. Currently, the Labschool Unesa Lidah Wetan neighborhood school has 9 students with special needs spread across elementary school levels, at school they are served by class teachers and several parents who accompany them while studying. Their disorders tend to be autism and lack of focus. Class teachers and parents of students do not yet have adequate knowledge about special needs, therefore knowledge and understanding of handling special needs are needed so that teachers and parents can work together in providing services, so that they will provide optimal results. This training was conducted for representatives of the inclusive teachers of the Labschool Unesa Lidah Wetan neighborhood school, totaling 16 people. This training activity aims to equip inclusive teachers in handling children with special needs. This training is given to inclusive teachers with special needs students who really need special attention and treatment. The training is conducted in the form of workshops or seminars with theory and practice provided in a balanced manner. Implementation in the classroom will be monitored by the PKM team. The results will be analyzed by describing the implementation of the training results in the field, as well as describing changes in handling special needs students.

Abstract

Accreditation of the Undergraduate Program of Special Education (UPSE) in Indonesia is still carried out by the National Accreditation Agency for Higher Education (BAN-PT) based on national higher education standards. One of the assessment elements is graduates employability. The aim of this research is to describe the employability of special education graduates according to BAN-PT standard. This research is a survey with a cross sectional design. Respondents were 161 graduates of the UPSE Universitas Negeri Surabaya (UNESA) spread across Bangka Belitung, Banten, DKI Jakarta, Yogyakarta, West Java, Central Java, East Java, South Kalimantan, West Nusa Tenggara, and Papua. Data were collected using online questionnaire and analyzed quantitatively. The results are: (1) the average waiting period of the graduates is 3.8 months, and (2) 88% of graduate employments have compatibility with the field of study. Therefore, it can be concluded that the employability of special education graduates has met the highest standards according to the BAN-PT. Research findings also indicate that the UPSE is able to produce quality graduates who have skills that support employability so that graduates are quickly absorbed in the world of work that match with their field of study.

Abstract

Research on the self-development aspects of children with special needs still needs to be studied in depth. The purpose of this study is to examine aspects of self-development in children with special needs. Aspects of self-development in children with special needs include cognitive, socio-emotional, self-regulated, problem solving, and creativity independence aspects. The method used in this study is a literature study. The conclusion in this study is that in the self-development aspect of children with special needs there are several underlying theories, and there are methods that can be used to improve self-development of children with special needs. In the self-development of children with special needs there are also various problems that occur, but can be overcome with the right solution according to the aspects to be developed. The conclusion of the study is proven by various relevant research results that have been conducted previously.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the stages of the speech therapy application development process. This research produces an android application product that can be used in early intervention in speech therapy for children with intellectual disabilities. This development research is based on the development method of Gall, et al. (2007), and only carried out up to five stages, namely: 1) Research and information collecting (searching and collecting data), 2) Planning, 3) Develop preliminary form of product, 4) Preliminary field testing, 5) Main product revision. The data collection method in the form of a Likert scale was used in this study. Media validation was carried out by speech therapy content experts and media experts. The validation results from content experts obtained a score with a percentage of 88 percent and validation from media experts obtained a score of 93 percent. This indicates a very valid category, and this application is declared feasible and can be used. The results of the implementation for children with intellectual disabilities by giving a questionnaire obtained a percentage of 85 percent. Abstract

Learning life skills for developmentally disabled students who attend inclusive elementary schools is also essential so that students can live independently in their daily activities. The scaffolding prompt plays a vital role in improving the life skills of developmentally disabled students to be independent in their daily activities. This study aims to analyze the relationship and importance of scaffolding prompts in learning life skills for mentally disabled students in inclusive elementary schools. This research was conducted on inclusive elementary school students. This research is a correlational study. The data collection tool used is a self-development performance life skill test which consists of 22 items. The data analysis technique used in this research is the product-moment correlation technique. Based on the research data analysis, there is a significant relationship between scaffolding prompts and improving students' life skills with intellectual disabilities in inclusive elementary schools. The results also show the importance of prompt scaffolding because it contributes significantly to increasing the independence of mentally disabled students in implementing life skills in real-life contexts. The limitation of this research is that it only covers students with mental retardation in inclusive elementary schools, so further research is needed that is broader.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas penerapan model pembelajaran Cooperative Learning yang dilengkapi dengan media video dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa tunagrahita ringan pada mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam (IPA) di Sekolah Menengah Pertama Luar Biasa C (SMPLB/C) Harmoni Sidoarjo. Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah rendahnya minat dan hasil belajar siswa tunagrahita ringan yang disebabkan oleh metode pengajaran yang monoton dan kurang interaktif. Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut, penelitian ini menerapkan pendekatan Cooperative Learning, yang menekankan kerja sama dalam kelompok kecil, serta penggunaan video pembelajaran untuk memvisualisasikan konsep-konsep IPA secara konkret. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain pre-eksperimen one group pre-test post-test. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes tertulis untuk mengukur pengetahuan siswa sebelum dan sesudah intervensi, serta observasi untuk menilai aspek sikap (berani, jujur, disiplin) dan kinerja (ketepatan proses, ketelitian, tanggung jawab, kerja sama). Hasil analisis data menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan dalam pengetahuan siswa, dengan rata-rata nilai pre-test sebesar 64,13 yang meningkat menjadi 75,46 pada post-test. Nilai sikap dan kinerja siswa juga menunjukkan peningkatan dari kategori kurang dan cukup menjadi baik setelah pelaksanaan model pembelajaran tersebut. Dari hasil penelitian, disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model Cooperative Learning bermedia video efektif dan efisien dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa tunagrahita ringan dalam pembelajaran IPA. Model ini tidak hanya meningkatkan pemahaman akademik siswa, tetapi juga mengembangkan keterampilan sosial mereka melalui kerja sama dan interaksi yang aktif. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan penggunaan metode pembelajaran yang lebih interaktif dan visual untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan siswa dengan kebutuhan khusus.

Abstract

This study discusses the development of a web-based educational game scratch as a tool for managing social skills in autistic children. This application is designed to help children practice improving social skills through interactive and interesting media with a focus on improving social interaction, communication and adaptive behavior. This study uses a Research and Development (R&D) approach by adopting the ADDIE development model. And using a validation test method carried out by experts in their fields. The results of the validation test showed that the web-based educational game scratch obtained a feasibility level of 89% with the conversion results against the percentage indicator criteria indicating that this learning media is included in the category of very feasible for use in the social skills learning process.
