Abstract

Mikrotrans is a means of transit that supports Transjakarta buses and serves residential neighbourhoods. However, travellers have lodged several concerns about the mikrotrans service's facilities and infrastructure. These concerns include drivers failing to stop at bus stops, drivers driving at excessive speeds, facility damage, inconvenient passenger wait periods, and a lack of bus arrival information. Aside from that, the bus stop lacks operational information, the bus stop pole is damaged, and the distance between bus stops varies. Using the customer satisfaction index approach and IPA-Kano integration, this study examines the operational performance of the Jak Lingko mikrotrans in terms of user satisfaction. The research findings revealed a 71,61% user satisfaction index in the satisfied group. However, all assessment attributes have negative gap values, resulting in a satisfaction score that fails to match user expectations. Based on the IPA-Kano integration analysis, three fatal category qualities were identified as high priority for service improvement. The fatal category attribute is that the driver drives the vehicle if the passenger is seated and/or both of the passenger's feet have touched the ground (A7), the vehicle's stopping time is adjusted to coincide with the completion of the passenger boarding and alighting process (A14), and there is signage, route information boards, the bus name, and the bus stop number (A22).

Abstract

Train scheduling is a fundamental aspect of efficientcy railway operations, in general Ttrain scheduling explain iat train timetable. In the pursuit of enhancing railway utilization for freight transport, the Indonesian government has implemented policies, including the integration of the railroad with JIIPE (Java Integrated Industrial and Ports Estate) along the main line of the North Java Railroad (PP 71 2021). However, the growing number of trains originating from the junction poses challenges to existing schedules, particularly impacting the Surabaya Pasarturi-Bojonegoro railroad segment. This study aims to calculate train scheduling based on headway and capacity, proposing adjustments to the departure frequency at Duduk Station in line with the train timetable (Gapeka) 2021 for the Surabaya Pasarturi-Bojonegoro Segment 12 of 17 alternative trains per day west direction  and 18 of 21 alternative trains per day east direction. It is essential to note that this proposed frequency exceeds theoretical capacity, emphasizing the need for careful planning of additional trains within the constraints of capacity theory to maintain operational efficiency.

Abstract

ABSTRACTTrack Quality Index (TQI) Value Prediction Based on Frequency Data and Traffic Load for 1067 Track Gauge: Track Quality Index (TQI) is an output from a measurement train. The higher TQI value indicates the higher level of railroad damage. The government has limitations to get the TQI value due to the limited number of measuring trains that are owned. Therefore, an alternative is needed to predict TQI values so that the safety aspect is guaranteed. To predict the TQI value on the width of the rail 1067 mm, a statistical regression analysis method was used. The variables used are TQI Parameters (Y) value, traffic frequency (X1) and traffic load (X2). Based on analysis, the form of the equations to predict the value of TQI parameters are YPert = 1,00.10-5 X1 + 1,47.10-7 X2 + 3,58; YAng = 2.08.10-5 X1 + 1.62.10-7 X2 + 3.77; YListr = 1,07.10-5 X1 + 1,60.10-7 X2 + 1,75; YLbspr = 1.76.10-5 X1 + 1.36.10-7 X2 + 0.32. The magnitude of the frequency and traffic load values in the TQI value categories are 10,230 train/yr and 11,524,169 tons/yr in categories 1, 17,050 train/yr and 19,206,948 tons/yr in category 2, 27,280 train /yr and 30,731,117 tons/yr in category 3 as well as more than 27,280 train/yr and 30,731,117 tons/yr in category 4.Keywords: track quality index; safety; regresion; equations.ABSTRAKTrack Quality Index (TQI) adalah output dari kereta ukur. Semakin tinggi nilai TQI, tingkat kerusakan jalan rel semakin parah.

Abstract

The population growth of Surabaya City is increasing every year with a growth rate of 0.42% in the range of 2020-2023. However, the increase is also in line with the increase in private vehicles and travel needs, it is inversely proportional to the lack of optimal use of public transportation, especially Trans Semanggi Suroboyo. Trans Semanggi Suroboyo West-East corridor crosses residential areas to the city center, so it is expected to connect residences with places of education and work. One of the causes of this non-optimality based on previous research is the accessibility factor. This study aims to explore accessibility-related influences on mode choice. The methodology used in this study is the assessment of accessibility levels using the public transport accessibility levels method and continued with mode selection using the binary logistic regression method. The results of this study show that there is evidence of the influence of accessibility in the selection of transportation modes. In addition, there are variables of user characteristics that influence the selection of modes that complement the model. This study has potential as an evaluation material in improving accessibility to support the optimization of the use of public transportation, especially on daily trips.
