Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan berbagai konsentrasi gula pasir dan untuk mengetahui penerimaan panelis terhadap nata de corn yang dihasilkan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) satu faktor dengan 4 taraf perlakuan (konsentrasi gula pasir) yaitu 10%, 15%, 20%. Tahapan dalam pembuatan nata yaitu, perebusan medium air jagung ditambah dengan gula pasir dan ekstrak tauge. Hasil rebusan didinginkan, selanjutnya ditambahkan Acetobacter xylinum. Media nata disimpan selama 14 hari dan nata dipanen lalu direndam selama 3 hari. Tahap terakhir perebusan dan nata siap diuji. Parameter yang diamati yaitu uji kadar serat, kadar pati, kadar total gula dan uji organoleptik. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis sidik ragam yang selanjutnya diolah menggunakan SPSS versi 22. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan peggunaan berbagai konsentrasi gula pasir pada uji kadar serat, kadar karbohidrat, dan kadar total gula pada perlakuan penggunaan gula pasir 20% merupakan perlakuan terbaik dengan nilai kadar serat 2,06%, kadar pati 19,96% , kadar total gula 15,45%, serta pada uji sensori secara keseluruhan panelis lebih menyukai nata de corn dibandingkan nata de coco. Metode perbandingan eksponensial menunjukkan rangking tertinggi diperoleh pada perlakuan penggunaan gula 20%, dimana perlakuan ini merupakan perlakuan terbaik dari hasil pengambilan nilai kepentingan setiap parameter fisik, kimia, dan sensori.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kandungan nutrisi pakan ayam berbahan baku tepung cangkang rajungan ( Portunus pelagicus sp.) dan eceng gondok. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) dengan 4 level perlakuan  dengan mensubstitusi tepung ikan, yaitu K (Tepung ikan 30%, tepung cangkang rajungan 0%, dan tepung eceng gondok 0%), A (Tepung ikan 10%, tepung cangkang rajungan 20%, dan tepung eceng gondok 0%), B (Tepung ikan 10%, tepung cangkang rajungan 10%, dan tepung eceng gondok 10%), C (Tepung ikan 10%, tepung cangkang rajungan 0%, dan tepung eceng gondok 20%), Penelitian ini terdiri dari dua tahap, yaitu tahap pertama adalah pembuatan tepung cangkang rajungan (Portunus pelagicus sp.) yang sudah bersih dan dikeringkan selama ±8 jam, kemudian ditepungkan menggunakan ayakan 80 mesh, sedangkan pembuatan tepung eceng gondok dikeringkan selama ±8 jam lalu ditepungkan. Tahap kedua adalah membuat pakan sesuai dengan formulasi yang telah ditentukan dan kemudian hasilnya dilakukan uji  proksimat mencakup kandungan protein, lemak, kalsium, dan kadar air. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa substitusi pakan berbahan baku tepung cangkang rajungan ( Portunus pelagicus sp.) dan eceng gondok memiliki pengaruh yang sangat signifikan terhadap kandungan nutrisi pada pakan ayam. Hasil uji penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan yang terbaik yang mendekati standar SNI pakan ayam adalah perlakuan C. Kandungan nutrisi pada perlakuan ini adalah protein 26,32%, lemak 3,42%, kalsium 1,35%, dan kadar air 4,12%.

Abstract

DOWNLOAD PDFDescriptive research was done to know the contents of lead (Pb) in tea leaf (Camellia sinensis) at top, under hills as well as soil of tea plantation at top and under the hills in Malino district. The Variable of these researches was lead content in tea leaf at top and under the hills. Another variable was soial of tea plantation at the top and under hills. The samples were taken from six stations, which were 1, 2, and 3 stations at top hill and 4, 5 and 6 stations at under hill. The leaf sample that taken was small sprout. Lead content was analyzed by using Absorption Automatic Spectrophotometer.  The results showed that mean content of lead in tea leaf at top hill was 3,4 µg/kg and mean content of lead at under hill was 5,7 µg/kg. The mean content of soil at top hill was 8,4 µg/kg and the average Pb content of soil at under hill was 7,5 µg/kg. After calculated by Mann-Whitney test found that there was difference Pb between concentration in the leaves on tea plants at top and under hills. There was no differences between lead concentration in soil at the top and under of hills. Test correlation with Spearman Rank found that there was correlation between Pb contents in the leaf of tea plants on the hill with soil at the hill. Study also showed that no correlation between lead content at tea leaf and soil at under of the hill.   Key words: Tea leaf (Camellia sinensis),  lead (Pb),  Malino tea plantation.

Abstract

Abstract. This research aims to develop a digital encyclopedia of higher plants with barcode feature as a learning resource that are valid and practical. The process of developing learning resources of digital encyclopedia of higher plants is done by using ADDIE development model, i.e. analyze, design, development, implementation and evaluation. In this study was done by using technology, ie smartphones, using an application named Quick Response Code (QR Code) that can accommodate a full information of plants description in the form of text then encoding into a barcode. Based on the results of the study, the average value of each aspect, 4.7 to the validity that can be concluded that the development of digital encyclopedia learning resources included in the category of "very valid" (4.5 ≤ Va 5). As for practicality in terms of student’s responses had an average value 81.71%, showing a positive response category, as well as the responses of teachers has an average value of 87.41%, which indicates the category of a very positive response. Both of these indicate that the encyclopedia digital learning resources can be used as a source of practical learning and fun in learning activities outside the classroom. Abstract

Abstract. Healthy Clean-Living Behavior (PHBS) is carried out in order to realize a healthy life so as to prevent disease. The factors that cause the lack of people to behave in a healthy clean lifestyle are caused by their socioeconomic status. The socioeconomic status intended here is the level of education, type of work and income level. The purpose of this study was to determine how the condition of the socioeconomic status of the community and the behavior of healthy clean living in the community and to find out whether there is a relationship between socioeconomic status and healthy cleanliving behavior (PHBS) of the community in Pajukukang village, Maros district. This research is a correlation study. The sample taken was selected by cluster random sampling by taking a sample of 40 respondents per village. So that the overall sample of 120 respondents. Data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential data analysis. The relationship between education level and income level with PHBS was tested using Spearman rank, resulting in Asymp sig value. 0,000. Whereas the relationship of work type with PHBS was tested using contingency coefficients to produce Asymp sig. 0.010. Abstract

Partners of the Partnership Program (PKM) are students of Entrepreneurship Education in Technology. The problem is: (1) lack of knowledge about organic catfish, (2) lack of skill in making processed from catfish, (3) low level of preference for consuming catfish (4) high production of catfish. The target is for Agricultural Technology Education students who are just starting their business activities. The method used is: lectures, demonstrations, discussions, questions and answers, and counterpart partners. The results achieved were (1) participants had knowledge in organic catfish cultivation, (2) participants had skills in making processed catfish products, (3) there were innovations in catfish processed products

Abstract

Humans and the environment are a complete ecosystem unit, where one cannot be separated from one another. The unity of the ecosystem includes ecological, economic, socio-cultural aspects, which are intertwined in human civilization. However, a series of human activities are often the cause of various cases of environmental degradation. The aim of the research was to find out the knowledge, attitudes and skills of the community before and after being given training on land forest conservation. The research was conducted in Palopo City, especially Wara Barat District, with a total sample of 20 people selected through purposive sampling. The study used a descriptive quantitative pre-experiment and was analyzed using the Paired Sample T test. The results showed that after being given training on land conservation management, the knowledge, attitudes and skills of the community increased significantly. This indicates that the training has had a positive influence and changed the understanding of land forest conservation.

Abstract

The activity of small pelagic fish is influenced by light, so changes in the moon phase will impact the distribution of fish, especially small pelagic fish. Therefore, this research aims to determine the concentration of fish based on lunar phases and explain the composition and frequency of fishing based on lunar phases in Bulukumba Regency. This research aims to provide information to fishermen to determine potential fishing areas. Data was collected in Bulukumba from July to September 2020 following 28 fishing trips using purse seines. The data used are primary and secondary. Primary data consists of the type and number of catches grouped based on lunar phases, namely dark, dark-to-light, light, and light-to-dark periods. Secondary data was obtained from interviews and literature studies. The data analysis used calculates the composition and frequency of catches. The results showed that there were eight types of fish caught during the research. The types of fish most commonly seen are trevally (Decapterus spp), yellow trevally (Selaroides sp), and mackerel (Rastrelliger spp). The highest catch frequency of these three types of fish occurred during the light-dark and light-dark periods.

Abstract

Raja Siem Banana (Musa acuminata) is a type of banana that can be used as a fried banana sale. This study aims to determine the quality of fried banana sale ripeness levels. The method used was a Completely Randomized Design (CRD), the level of ripeness of banana fruit with four levels after picking: 0 day, 1 day, 2 days and 3 days. The parameters observed were water content, total sugar content, oil content, and organoleptic. Analysis of the potential of fried banana sale for environmental management was carried out by reviewing the literature on relevant sources from journals. The study’s proximate water content test results met the standard of 8.79% - 17% (maximum 40%). The lowest total sugar content was 45.11%, and the highest was 70.22%. The lowest oil content was 10%, and the highest was 12.53%, meeting the maximum standard of 30%. The fried banana sales were produced based on the overall preference test. The panellists gave an average score of 4.2 in liking colour, taste, texture, and aroma. Processing Raja Siem bananas into a fried banana sale is one step in seeking optimal environmental conditions due to banana rot to create good environmental conditions.

Abstract

Praktikum materi genetika di tingkat SMA umumnya adalah dengan menggunakan kancing genetika. Hasil pengembangan media pembelajaran terkini menghasilkan alternatif lain untuk praktikum materi genetika yaitu dengan menggunakan kartu genetika. Kegiatan pelatihan yang dilakukan bekerjasama dengan MGMP Biologi Kabupaten Takalar bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan, wawasan, dan keterampilan guru biologi dalam pembuatan dan penggunaan kartu genetika. Sasarannya adalah guru Biologi kabupaten Takalar. Pelatihan dilaksanakan pada bulan Agustus 2024 di SMAN 1 Takalar. Kegiatan diikuti oleh 21 guru biologi yang berasal dari 12 SMA di Kabupaten Takalar. Tahap pelaksanaan kegiatan meliputi pemberian materi (penyuluhan), tahap praktik, dan tahap diskusi dan evaluasi. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode ceramah, tanya jawab, diskusi, dan demonstrasi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa peserta terlibat aktif dalam mengikuti proses pelatihan baik dalam sesi pemberian materi ataupun saat praktik penggunaan kartu genetika. Berdasarkan kegiatan yang telah dilaksanakan maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa pelatihan yang dilaksanakan telah berlangsung dengan baik.
