Abstract

Indonesia, as an archipelagic nation, requires an efficient transportation system to support economic mobility and tourism. Djalaludin Airport in Gorontalo plays a pivotal role in facilitating economic and tourism activities within Gorontalo Province. Airport management, involving operators and service users, aims to deliver high-quality services. However, some service aspects still fall short, particularly in physical facility comfort and process efficiency. This study seeks to identify service attributes that need improvement to enhance overall service quality. A quantitative approach was employed, utilizing SERVQUAL analysis based on five dimensions: tangibles, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using a gap method to measure discrepancies between passenger expectations and perceptions. Attribute prioritization was conducted using Fuzzy AHP to identify key areas for improvement, followed by a fishbone analysis to uncover root causes of the identified issues. The results indicate a service conformity level of 87.61%, but notable negative gaps remain in key attributes, such as air circulation comfort in waiting areas and baggage claim efficiency. Recommendations include increasing air conditioning capacity and optimizing conveyor systems to expedite baggage handling. Improving these core attributes suggests that enhancing service quality at Djalaludin Airport will boost passenger satisfaction and loyalty while supporting sustainable growth in air transportation and tourism sectors in Gorontalo Province.

Abstract

Fiscal decentralisation is the basic capital to reach better governance, regional development, and fiscal autonomy. This paper discusses financial management barriers and opportunities in the Gorontalo Province, a region with low fiscal autonomy, as shown by its index and heavy dependency on central government transfer. This qualitative research, using data from interviews and document studies, found various inefficiencies in the province, such as incongruence between expenditures and revenues, lack of coordination among stakeholders, non-compliance by taxpayers, and delays in financial reporting. Drawing on the theoretical work of Schick (1998) for a framework for public expenditure management and using empirical evidence, this paper proposes an integrated strategy toward a better fiscal management system, diversification of revenue sources, enhancements in planning techniques, introduction of comprehensive accounting mechanisms, and stakeholder participation. This paper contributes to the debate on fiscal decentralisation by giving practical suggestions on how to achieve fiscal autonomy and promote sustainable development in economically less-developed regions.

Abstract

Driver behavior is the most dominant factor in accidents. Almost all accidents are preceded by violations of traffic signs. Through previous accident data, important and useful information can be known. The study aims to analyze two-wheeled motorbike riding behavior using Naturalistic Driving Study (NDS) and determine the influence of age and behavior of 150cc motorbike riders. Data taken from recordings taken by respondents and questionnaires. The results of the regression test to determine differences in age on motorbike rider behavior with a constant value of a = 196.03 show that this figure is a constant number which means that, if it does not involve age (X), the value of riding behavior (Y) is -5, 3956x. The regression coefficient is -5.3945. This figure is minus (-), which means that age (X) has a negative effect on driving behavior (Y).

Abstract

Abstract: Measuring Workload of Workers at UD. Bintang Jaya Mandiri uses CVL and NASA-TLX The amount of physical and mental load depends on the level of difficulty of each activity, causing different workloads. The method for measuring physical workload uses the %CVL (Cardiovascular Load) method, while the method for measuring mental load uses the NASA-TLX (National Aeronautics and Space Administration Task Load Index) method. Calculation results from workers at UD. Bintang Kaya Mandiri used the %CVL method in shift I. The values ​​obtained were classified as "Medium" (30% to ≤ 60%) "Required improvement but not urgent" for 18 people and classified as "Low" (≤ 30%) "There is no fatigue in workers" as many as 2 people, while shift II scores obtained were classified as "Medium" (30% to ≤ 60%) "Required improvement but not urgent" as many as 16 people and classified as "Low" (≤ 30%) "There is no fatigue among workers ” as many as 4 people. Measuring mental load using the NASA-TLX method in shift I, the scores obtained were classified as "Quite High" (30-49) by 1 person and classified as "High" (50-79) by 19 people, while in shift II the scores obtained were classified as " Fairly High” (30-49) as many as 3 people and classified as “High” (50-79) as many as 17 people.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis kinerja Polahi Adventure Gorontalo, sebuah usaha penyewaan dan penjualan alat kemping, menggunakan metode Objective Matrix (OMAX). Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa efisiensi operasional perusahaan berada pada tingkat yang cukup baik dengan skor total mencapai 495 dari 1000. Namun, indikator produktivitas tercatat sebesar 65%, mengindikasikan adanya ruang untuk perbaikan. Kriteria yang dianalisis meliputi kecepatan pelayanan, keterlambatan, panjang antrian, waktu tunggu, absensi, dan keluhan. Waktu tunggu dan tingkat absensi menunjukkan pengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja pelayanan, dengan total skor masing-masing 28.00 dan 21.00. Oleh karena itu, peningkatan efisiensi waktu tunggu dan pengurangan tingkat absensi menjadi prioritas utama. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan pengembangan dan penerapan Standar Operasional Prosedur (SOP) yang komprehensif untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dan efektivitas operasional. Dengan adanya SOP yang jelas, Polahi Adventure Gorontalo diharapkan dapat mengurangi ketidakefisienan dalam proses operasional dan meningkatkan kualitas layanan kepada pelanggan. Temuan ini memberikan kontribusi penting terhadap pemahaman faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kinerja perusahaan penyewaan alat kemping di Gorontalo dan dapat menjadi acuan bagi perusahaan sejenis dalam merumuskan strategi yang lebih efektif.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze employee perceptions regarding the approach of Reinventing Organizational Behavior Management at the Higher Education Service Institution (LLDIKTI), specifically in Region XVI. The research data was collected through interviews and observations and analyzed using an interactive model. The findings indicate that employee participation in the decision-making process within the LLDIKTI Region XVI work environment remains uneven. The study found that leadership figures, such as the Head of LLDIKTI Region XVI and Team Leaders, primarily control the decision-making process within LLDIKTI Region XVI. This results in lower-level staff merely accepting decisions that have already been made. While this approach may be more efficient in terms of time, it could significantly impact employees' perceptions of their roles if it continues over an extended period. Employees may develop sentiments of being undervalued or excluded from the formulation of policies, potentially leading to a decline in their motivation to contribute to the organization's goals. This, in turn, may result in apathy among employees, consequently hindering the organization's performance and preventing it from achieving its intended objectives. Increasing employee participation in decision-making would provide various stakeholders opportunities to contribute and assume responsibility for achieving organizational goals, thereby fostering a more engaged and accountable workforce.

Abstract

Mental workload is one of the factors that affect driver safety. This study examines the effect of mental workload on truck driver response time in rural and urban traffic conditions. Mental workload was measured using the NASA-TLX questionnaire and physiological measurements using HRV and EEG. Response time was tested using detection simulation. The results showed that drivers experienced moderately high mental workload, with the urban environment showing cognitive enhancement based on alpha signals and LF variables. However, regression analysis found no significant relationship between mental workload and driver response time in either rural or urban environments. This study provides insight that while traffic conditions may affect the level of mental workload of drivers, the impact on response time is not always significant. These findings can serve as a basis for further research in understanding the relationship between mental workload, traffic conditions and driving safety.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan meningkatkan produktivitas pada Bengkel     XYZ, sebuah bengkel motor dan mobil di Kota Gorontalo, dengan menggunakan metode Marvin E. Mundel. Metode ini mengukur produktivitas melalui indeks yang membandingkan output dan input dalam periode tertentu. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi peningkatan output dengan mempertahankan input mampu meningkatkan indeks produktivitas dari 108,72 menjadi 116,28, yang berarti peningkatan produktivitas sebesar 13%. Peningkatan ini dicapai dengan fokus pada penjualan bahan baku sebagai strategi output utama. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi signifikan bagi perusahaan dengan menyarankan langkah-langkah perbaikan untuk efisiensi operasional dan menyusun Standar Operasional Prosedur (SOP) yang lebih baik. Hasil penelitian ini juga dapat menjadi acuan bagi usaha sejenis dalam meningkatkan produktivitas.

Abstract

Target produksi merupakan sesuatu yang diharapkan dan yang ingin dicapai oleh industri manufaktur, khususnya industri yang berfokus pada kegiatan memproduksi suatu produk jadi. Pt. SIMP merupakan perusahaan yang memproduksi minyak goreng dan lemak nabati di Indonesia. Perusahaan ini memiliki target produksi dalam setiap produksinya. Pada setiap proses produksinya perusahaan sering mengalami kendala dalam memenuhi target yang telah di tentukan oleh perusahaan salah satunya kerusakan pada gearbox, kerusakan ini dapat berdampak pada efisiensi operasional dan waktu henti produksi. Akibatnya, perusahaan harus mengeluarkan biaya tambahan untuk penggantian suku cadang, perbaikan, dan penundaan produksi, yang semuanya berkontribusi pada ketidak mampuan untuk mencapai target produksi yang telah direncanakan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat Availability,Performance Effeciency, dan Rate Of Quality Product. Metode yang di gunakan yaitu Overal Equipment Efektiveness (OEE).

Abstract

Akulturasi budaya, yang melibatkan perpaduan teknik sulaman Karawo dan motif batik Yogyakarta, telah menghasilkan inovasi tekstil yang unik dan bernilai tinggi. Produk-produk tekstil hasil akulturasi ini tidak hanya memperkaya warisan budaya Indonesia, tetapi juga membuka peluang ekonomi baru bagi masyarakat pengrajin di kedua daerah. Melalui pelatihan keterampilan dan pengembangan usaha kecil dan menengah (UKM), pengrajin mampu meningkatkan kualitas produk mereka dan memperluas jangkauan pasar, baik secara lokal maupun internasional. Dampaknya, terjadi peningkatan pendapatan masyarakat, perluasan lapangan kerja, dan kontribusi yang signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi lokal. Selain itu, produk hasil akulturasi ini juga berperan dalam pelestarian budaya, dengan memperkenalkan tradisi tekstil Karawo dan batik ke audiens yang lebih luas, termasuk dalam sektor pariwisata. Meskipun terdapat tantangan dalam mempertahankan kualitas dan autentisitas produk, akulturasi ini memiliki potensi besar untuk terus berkembang dan memberikan dampak positif yang lebih luas. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa akulturasi budaya dapat menjadi alat penting dalam pemberdayaan masyarakat dan peningkatan ekonomi, sambil tetap menjaga dan melestarikan warisan budaya yang berharga.
