Abstract

This financial reporting digitalization training with accounting applications aims to reduce the risk of fraud in the financial reports of small and medium enterprises and young entrepreneurs. The main problem is the low understanding of participants in making accurate and transparent digital financial reports. The activity partners are students of SMKN 25 Jakarta who need to improve their skills in preparing application-based financial reports such as BukuWarung, SIAPIK, and Accurate. Training methods include observation, socialization, practice of using applications according to financial accounting standards, mentoring, and evaluation. The training lasted for 16 hours with theoretical and practical materials. The evaluation results showed a significant increase in participant understanding and readiness to apply accounting technology in an accountable manner. Obstacles such as limited technological facilities and variations in participant abilities were overcome by rescheduling and special mentoring. Recommendations for this activity include improving technological facilities, developing flexible learning materials, and ongoing mentoring so that the benefits of the training can continue. This activity also supports the implementation of the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka program through the active role of students as facilitators.

Abstract

Global warming and climate change caused by emissions are currently a priority concern for the world because they will have a direct and significant impact on the survival of all living things. As financial institutions that provide financing to the industrial sector, government banks and regional government banks financing can potentially develop the Indonesian economy while having a negative impact on emissions from industrial sector activities. By adopting the Vector Error Correction Model (VECM), this reserach reveals that government banks and regional government banks have a significant impact to the sustainable development index. However, in addition to the two types of banks only identified as short-term financing, the proportion of influence generated sequentially for government banks and local government banks are only 13% and 11%. Finally, the need for large funds and a long financing repayment period are significant aspects in building a more sustainable industrial and economic climate.

Abstract

Audit judgement by auditors is a crucial element in determining the fairness of the company's financial statements. The quality of audit judgement can be influenced by various factors, including technical factors such as the limited time and environment of the audit as well as non-technical factors such as the behavior and character of individual auditors. Seeing this phenomenon, special attention is needed to factors that are suspected of influencing the auditor's decision-making process, both internal auditor factors such as Locus of Control and Professional Ethics, as well as external factors from the client's side in the form of Client Narcissism. This study aims to determine the influence of these factors on the quality of audit judgment, especially for auditors at Public Accounting Firms (KAP) in the East Jakarta region. This study uses a quantitative approach with data analysis using Partial Least Square (PLS) through the SmartPLS 3.0 application. The research sample consisted of 74 auditors working at KAP East Jakarta, who were selected based on the criteria of a minimum of 1 year of experience and a minimum of S1 education. The results of the study show that Professional Ethics has a positive and significant effect on Audit Judgment, meaning that the better the application of ethics by the auditor, the better the quality of the audit judgement produced. However, Locus of Control and Client Narcissism did not show a significant influence on audit judgment. These findings suggest that auditors' self-control attitudes and client character do not significantly affect the quality of audit considerations. Based on the results of the study, Professional Ethics has a significant influence on the quality of audit judgment, while Locus of Control and Client Narcissism have no significant effect.

Abstract

This study explores the dynamics of digital-based collaborative communication strategies in managing student-led events, with UMB Talks 2024 at Universitas Mercu Buana as a case study. First, background. The research is grounded in Habermas’s Theory of Communicative Action and strategic communication, emphasizing mutual understanding and stakeholder engagement in digital environments. It aims to develop a conceptual model of collaborative digital communication in academic settings. A qualitative-descriptive approach was adopted. Data were gathered through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and document analysis involving student leaders, academic mentors, and external speakers. The study applied stakeholder mapping to identify key actors in the event’s communication process. Findings reveal that tools like WhatsApp and Google Drive enhanced coordination, documentation, and consensus building in a temporary organizational setting. Communication was structured through vertical, horizontal, and diagonal flows, reflecting deliberative practices and ethical engagement. The proposed model includes adaptive channels, flexible structures, and a crisis response system, offering theoretical and practical insights for youth event management. The study shows that digital communication is central to participatory learning and resilient collaboration in higher education. It contributes to communication theory by linking digital affordances with deliberative engagement, and offers a framework applicable to future student-led initiatives.

Abstract

Culinary micro businesses and home industries have a strategic role in local economic development, especially in the Tangerang area. However, obstacles such as low brand awareness, less than optimal business management, and minimal understanding of business regulations hinder the competitiveness of this sector. This study aims to examine how product re-branding and improving business governance can increase the competitiveness of culinary micro businesses. Using the Community-Based Research (CBR) methodology, this community engagement initiative involved 10 business owners selected through purposive sampling, utilizing in-depth interviews and field observations. The results showed that the rebranding strategy, including improving packaging, improving product quality, and strengthening marketing messages, succeeded in increasing sales by up to 30%. In addition, training in financial management, marketing, and operational management improved the skills of business actors. Administrative support in managing permits such as NIB, PIRT, and halal certification also provided more trust to consumers. In conclusion, the combination of an effective rebranding strategy and good business governance can increase the competitiveness of this industry.
