Abstract

ABSTRAK   Penelitian ini adalah jenis penelitian Deskriptif Kuantitatif ,karena penelitian ini bersifat mengkaji atau menggambarkan keadaan atau kondisi yang ada dilapangan. Penelitian deskriptif  kuantitatif tidak perlu mencari atau menerangkan hubungan antara variabel, menguji hipotesis dan lain sebagianya. Penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif hanya mencoba menggambarkan apa adanya. Jenis penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa dengan melihat pada 4 aspek utama yakni memahami masalah, memberikan argumen, melakukan induksi, dan mengambil keputusan dalam menyelesaikan soal uraian seputar materi pencemaran lingkungan tujuan penelitian ini untuk Mengetahui keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa ke VII di SMPN 9 Kota Bengkulu dalam pembelajaran IPA pada Materi Pencemaran Lingkungan. Berdasarkan hasil data siswa bahwa secara umum keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa SMP Negeri 9 Kota Bengkulu berada pada kategori rendah yakni sebesar 0,42% dimana hampir dari setengah partisipan berada pada kategori ini. Peringkat kedua ada pada kategori sedang sebesar 0,30%, disusul oleh kategori tinggi sebesar 0,25%, dan persentase paling rendah  adalah kategori sangat tinggi 0,03%. Dari  hasil analisis data yang telah diteliti, dapat ditarik kesimpulan dari keterampilan berpikir kritis pada materi pencemaran lingkungan, yaitu nilai rata-rata indikator dengan rata-rata 60,63% dan dengan kategori rendah. Kata kunci : Analisis, Berpikir Siswa, Pencemaran Lingkungan,SMPN 9 Kota Bengkulu.                                      ABSTRACT This research is a type of quantitative descriptive research, because this research is to examine or describe the conditions or conditions that exist in the field. Quantitative descriptive research does not need to find or explain the relationship between variables, test hypotheses and others in part. Quantitative descriptive research only tries to describe what is. This type of research was conducted to determine students' critical thinking skills by looking at 4 main aspects, namely understanding the problem, giving arguments, conducting inductions, and making decisions in solving descriptions about environmental pollution material. at SMPN 9 Bengkulu City in learning science on Environmental Pollution Materials. Based on the results of student data that in general the critical thinking skills of SMP Negeri 9 Bengkulu City students are in the low category, namely 0.42% where almost half of the participants are in this category. The second rank is in the medium category of 0.30%, followed by the high category of 0.25%, and the lowest percentage is the very high category of 0.03%. From the results of data analysis that has been researched, conclusions can be drawn from critical thinking skills on environmental pollution material, namely the average value of indicators with an average of 60.63% and in the low category.  Keywords: Analysis, Student Thinking, Environmental Pollution, SMPN 9 Bengkulu City.

Abstract

ABSTRAK   Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan literasi sains siswa kelas VIII SMPN 9 Kota Bengkulu pada materi isu pencemaran lingkungan.  Subyek dalam penelitian  ini  yaitu kelas VIII SMPN 9 Kota Bengkulu. Metode  yang digunakan yaitu metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 100 peserta didik. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah soal tes literasi sains dan lembar pedoman wawancara. Teknik analisis data dilakukan  dengan pemberian skor untuk setiap jawaban peserta didik kemudian di interprestasikan ke dalam nilai dan kategori capaian sains serta menganalisis hasil wawancara. Dengan demikian kemampuan literasi sains siswa berdasarkan hasil penelitian memiliki  persentase  nilai  rata-rata pada aspek  konteks sebesar (49%) dengan ketercapaian sangat rendah, aspek  pengetahuan sebesar (51%) dengan ketercapaian  rendah,  dan  aspek  kompetensi sebesar (47%) dengan ketercapaian sangat rendah. Secara  keseluruhan  hasil  penelitian menunjukkan kemampuan literasi sains siswa masih dalam kategori sangat rendah dengan persentase sebesar 47%. Rendahnya kemampuan literasi sains siswa pada materi isu pencemaran lingkungan di SMPN 9 Kota Bengkulu dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor, yaitu minat baca peserta didik yang masih rendah, peserta didik jarang mengulang pembelajaran, peserta didik belum terlatih dalam memecahkan permasalahan mengenai isu pencemaran lingkungan yang terjadi di wilayah Kota Bengkulu dan alat evaluasi yang belum mengarah pada pengembangan literasi sains.   Kata kunci: Literasi Sains, Pencemaran Lingkungan, SMPN 9 Kota Bengkulu   ABSTRACT   This study aims to describe the scientific literacy ability of eighth grade students of SMPN 9 Bengkulu City in the environmental pollution issues. The subjects in this study is class VIII SMPN 9 Bengkulu City. The method used is descriptive quantitative method. The sample in this study amounted to 100 students. The instruments used were scientific literacy test questions and interview guide sheets. The data analysis technique was carried out by giving a score for each student's answer and then interpreting it into the value and category of science achievement and analyzing the results of the interview. Thus students' scientific literacy skills based on research results have an average score percentage in the context aspect of (49%) with very low achievement, knowledge aspect of (51%) with low achievement, and competence aspect of (47%) with very high achievement. low. Overall, the results showed that the students' scientific literacy skills were still in the very low category with a percentage of 47%. The low ability of students' scientific literacy on environmental pollution issues at SMPN 9 Bengkulu City is influenced by several factors, namely students' low interest in reading, students rarely repeat learning, students have not been trained in solving problems regarding environmental pollution issues that occur in the area Bengkulu City and evaluation tools that have not led to the development of scientific literacy.   Keywords: Science Literacy, Environmental Pollution, SMPN 9 Bengkulu City

Abstract

ABSTRAK   Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan media pembelajaran berbasis android dengan SAC (Smart Apps Creator) pada materi pemanasan global di kelas VII. Penelitian dilakukan di SMP Negeri 4 Kota Bengkulu. Teknik analisis validasi yang digunakan adalah formula Aiken V. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran berbasis android berdasarkan skor raat-rata dari validasi media sebesar 0,88 dan validasu materi sebesar 1,00 memenuhi kategori sangat valid dan reliabel dengan V > 0,8. Artinya, media pembelajaran berbasis android yang dikembangkan sudah sangat layak untuk diuji cobakan. Kemudian respon siswa terhadap media pembelajaran berbasis android diperoleh persentase 89,83% dengan kategori sangat baik yang artinya sebagian besar siswa menyukai jika pembelajaran menggunakan media pembelajaran berbasis android yang didalamnya terdapat video, gambar serta audio, media pembelajaran berbasis android juga dianggap media pembelajaran yang mudah diakses sehingga siswa mudah dalam menggunakannya. Selain itu, siswa lebih memahami isi materi pada materi pemanasan global. Sedangkan respoon guru terhadap media pembelajaran berbasis android diperoleh persentase 92,18% dengan kategori sangat baik yang artinya guru membutuhkan media pembelajaran berbasis android yang tidak hanya berupa teks tetapi memuat video, gambar, audio dan evaluasi, guru menyukai media pembelajaran berbasis android karena membantu guru menarik perhatian siswa. Selain itu, media pembelajaran berbasis android juga dianggap media pembelajaran yang mudah diakses dimanapun dan kapanpun.   Kata Kunci: Media Pembelajaran, Android, SAC (Smart Apps Creator), Pemanasan Global.   ABSTRACT   This study aims to develop an android-based learning media with SAC (Smart Apps Creator) on global warming material in class VII. The research was conducted at SMP Negeri 4 Bengkulu City. The validation analysis technique used is the Aiken V formula. The results of the study conclude that the android-based learning media based on the average score of media validation is 0.88 and the material validity is 1.00. It meets the very valid and reliable category with V > 0.8. This means that the Android-based learning media that has been developed is very feasible to be tested. Then the student response to android-based learning media obtained a percentage of 89.83% with a very good category which means that most students like learning using android-based learning media which includes video, images and audio, android-based learning media is also considered an easy learning media accessible so that students can easily use it. In addition, students better understand the content of the material on global warming material. While the teacher's response to android-based learning media obtained a percentage of 92.18% with a very good category which means that teachers need android-based learning media that are not only in the form of text but contain videos, images, audio and evaluation, teachers like android-based learning media because it helps teachers attract students' attention. Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui validitas dan tanggapan peserta didik terhadap keterbacaan produk handout pada materi interaksi makhluk hidup dengan lingkungan untuk peserta didik kelas VII SMP. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode research and development (R&D) dengan mengacu pada model 4D yang dimodifikasi menjadi 3D. Pada penelitian ini peneliti membatasi hanya sampai tahap develop. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan berupa observasi, wawancara, dan angket. Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan berupa lembar observasi, lembar wawancara, lembar angket kebutuhan, lembar validasi ahli, dan lembar angket persepsi peserta didik. Validasi produk handout dilakukan oleh 5validator ahli (2 dosen dan 3 guru). Uji keterbacaan produk dilakukan oleh 32 peserta didik SMPN 9 Kota Bengkulu. Berdasarkan hasil validasi ahli terhadap bahan ajar handout pada materi interaksi makhluk hidup dengan lingkungan yang telah dikembangkan secara keseluruhan mendapat skor rata-rata 0,926 dalam kategori “validitas tinggi”. Hasil uji keterbacaan produk yang dilakukan oleh 32 peserta didik kelas VII terhadap handout pada materi interaksi makhluk hidup dengan lingkungan, secara keseluruhan memperoleh persentase rata˗rata 86,78% dalam kategori “sangat baik”. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa bahan ajar handout yang dikembangkan memiliki validitas tinggi dan sangat baik secara konseptual sehingga dapat dilanjutkan ke tahap uji coba lapangan.   Kata kunci: R&D, bahan ajar, handout, interaksi makhluk hidup dengan lingkungan.   ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the validity and responses of students to the readability of handout products on the interaction of living things with the environment for class VII students of junior high school. This study uses the research and development (R&D) method with reference to the modified 4D model into 3D. In this research, the researcher limits it only to the develop stage. Data collection techniques used in the form of observation, interviews, and questionnaires. The instrument used in this study was a observation sheets, interview sheets, needs questionnaire sheets, expert validation sheets, and student perception questionnaire sheets. Handout product validation was carried out by 5 expert validators (2 lecturers and 3 teachers). The product readability test was carried out by 32 students at SMPN 9 Bengkulu City. Based on the results of expert validation of the handout teaching materials on the interaction material of living things with the environment that has been developed as a whole gets an average score of 0.926 in the "high validity" category. Based on the results of the product legibility test conducted by 32 class VII students on handouts on the interaction of living things with the environment, overall, they obtained an average percentage of 86.78% in the "very good" category. Based on these results it can be concluded that the developed handout teaching materials have high validity and are very good conceptually so that they can be continued to the field trial stage. Abstract

Abstrak Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan wawasan mengenai percobaan sains dan pengembangan percobaan sains bagi guru PAUD dan memberikan pengetahuan, rasa ingin tahu, serta minat belajar sains sedari kecil bagi anak usia dini di Labschool PAUD UNIB. Metode pelatihan yang dilakukan adalah metode demonstrasi, ceramah, dan tanya jawab. Jumlah peserta pelatihan yang hadir adalah sebanyak 10 orang. Hasil pelatihan adalah guru dan anak Labschool PAUD UNIB memperoleh pengetahuan tentang sains dan percobaan sains, rasa ingin tahu dan minat belajar sains meningkat terutama yang berkaitan dengan kehidupan sehari-hari. Hal ini terbukti terlihat dari antusias guru dan anak-anak saat demonstrasi percobaan dan penjelasan percobaan. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, pengabdian ini dapat disimpulkan bermanfaat bagi guru dan anak Labschool PAUD UNIB.

Abstract

Amorphophallus titanum is an endemic flora of Sumatra that was listed in the IUCN Red List in 2018 under the endangered category. Conservation efforts must be undertaken to preserve A. titanum both ex situ and in situ. Additionally, artificial propagation of plants needs to be carried out to obtain seedlings that can be replanted in their natural habitat or conservation areas. Propagation through the rachis cutting method is interesting to conduct because it is considered easier and more cost-effective compared to other methods. This research aims to determine the potential success of the planting media used and the challenges faced in the propagation of A. titanum through the rachis cutting method, conducted at the Pondok Sains Terpadu (POSTER) conservation, Science Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, University of Bengkulu. The planting media used were cocopeat and soil, with 40 samples of A. titanum rachis and 20 repetitions for each planting medium. The research results show that the cocopeat medium produced a higher success rate (15%) than the soil medium (0%). Callus appeared in the 8th week, followed by buds in the 12th week. The leaves experienced decay and drying in the 16th week, but the buds continued to grow until they bloomed perfectly in the 20th week. The failure of rachis cutting propagation using average soil media was observed from the 4th week after planting. Thus, it can be concluded that cocopeat media shows potential to support the propagation efforts of A. titanum through the rachis cutting method. The challenges of this research are influenced by pest and disease disturbances (S. rolfsii, Collembola, and H. haydeniana) due to the open research location, as well as environmental factors such as temperature, humidity, light, and pH of the growing medium.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hambatan belajar IPA secara online di era pandemi Covid-19. Penelitian dilakukan di SMPN 05 Seluma dengan menggunakan penelitian deskritif. Instrumen penelitian berupa observasi,wawancara, angket, dokumentasi. Responden penelitian berjumlah 100 siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan  1) berdasarkan observasi semua siswa melakukan pembelajaran dirumah, 2) wawancara semua siswa menggunakan whatsApp, 3) berdasarkan hasil analisis ditemukan  terdapat 7 hambatan  dalam  belajaran IPA online pada masa pandemi covid-19 di SMPN 05 Seluma yaitu jaringan internet kurang memadai sebanyak 60%,  tidak memiliki komputer/laptop sebanyak 80%, hambatan jaringan listrik kurang memadai sebanyak 80% ,  tidak memiliki HP sebanyak 21%,  kesulitan memahami pelajaran sebanyak 39%, hambatan sangat rendah  terdapat tidak dapat bertanya langsung kepada guru sebanyak 20%, hambatan bosan sebanyak 14%.  4) Hasil belajar siswa dengan cara belajar online adalah tergolong nilai cukup, dengan rata-rata sebesar 76,5 dengan standar deviasi sebesar 21,7. Kata kunci: Hambatan, Pembelajaran Online SMPN 05 Seluma ABSTRACT The purpose of this study was to find out the barriers to learning science online in the era of the Covid-19 pandemic. The research was conducted at SMPN 05 Seluma using descriptive research. Research instruments in the form of observation, interviews, questionnaires, documentation. Research respondents totaled 100 students. The results showed 1) based on observations of all students doing home learning, 2) interviewing all students using whatsApp, 3) based on the results of the analysis it was found that there were 7 obstacles in online science learning during the covid-19 pandemic at SMPN 05 Seluma, namely the internet network was inadequate as much as 60%, do not have a computer / laptop as much as 80%, inadequate electricity network barriers as much as 80%, do not have a cellphone as much as 21%, have difficulty understanding lessons as much as 39%, very low barriers there are 20% unable to ask the teacher directly, obstacles bored as much as 14%. 4) Student learning outcomes using online learning are classified as sufficient, with an average of 76.5 with a standard deviation of 21.7.     Keywords: Obstacle, Online Learning SMPN 05 Seluma

Abstract

This research aims to describe the ability of mealworms (Tenebrio molitor) to reduce styrofoam waste by observing the decrease in styrofoam weight and survival rate over one week. The method used is an experiment with a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 4 treatments (P0, P50, P100, P150) and 4 replications. The data was analyzed using descriptive statistics. The research stages include container preparation, larvae, stocking, feeding, and maintenance. The results show that the weight loss of styrofoam occurred at P50 (18.5%), P100 (22.75%), and P150 (36%). Meanwhile, the control group (P0) only experienced a weight loss of 1.5%. This indicates that the greater the number of T. molitor, the greater the weight loss of styrofoam. The highest survival rate for T. molitor was observed at P50, with a decrease in numbers of only 12.5%. At P150, the decrease was 16.8%, and at P100, it was 28.75%. This decrease is suspected to be caused by competition among T. molitor, population density, and a lack of nutrients despite the addition of supplementary feed. Based on the analysis of the results, it can be concluded that T. molitor is capable of reducing styrofoam waste, with the highest survival rate in the P50 group.

Abstract

ABSTRAK   Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) Mendeskripsikan kelayakan E-Booklet sebagai media interaktif menggunakan Flip PDF Corporate materi sistem ekskresi manusia kelas VIII, 2) Mendeskripsikan persepsi peserta didik terhadap E-Booklet sebagai media interaktif menggunakan Flip PDF Corporate materi sistem ekskresi manusia kelas VIII. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R & D). Penelitian ini menggunakan model ADDIE, dengan tahapan: 1) Analysis, 2) Design, 3) Development. Kelayakan E-Booklet berdasarkan hasil validasi ahli 2 orang (dosen) dan 2 orang praktisi (guru). Persepsi peserta didik terhadap E-Booklet dengan memberikan angket kepada peserta didik. Hasil kelayakan E-Booklet sebesar 95,91% termasuk kategori sangat layak. Hasil persepsi E-Booklet sebesar 87,98% termasuk kategori sangat baik. Dapat disimpulkan E-Booklet sebagai media interaktif menggunakan Flip PDF Corporate materi sistem ekskresi manusia kelas VIII ini sangat layak untuk digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran.   Kata kunci:E-Booklet, Flip PDF Corporate, Sistem Ekskresi Manusia   ABSTRACT   This study aims to: 1) Describe the feasibility of the E-Booklet as an interactive medium using Flip PDF Corporate material on the human excretion system class VIII, 2) Describe students' perceptions of the E-Booklet as an interactive medium using Flip PDF Corporate material on the human excretion system class VIII. The research method used is Research and Development (R & D). This study uses the ADDIE model, with stages: 1) Analysis, 2) Design, 3) Development. The feasibility of the E-Booklet is based on the results of the validation of 2 experts (lecturers) and 2 practitioners (teachers). Students' perceptions of the E-Booklet by giving questionnaires to students. The e-Booklet eligibility result of 95.91% is in the very feasible category. The results of the perception of the E-Booklet of 87.98% are in the very good category. Abstract

ABSTRAK   Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) Mengetahui kelayakan E-LKPD berbasis Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) pada System Ekskresi kulit pada manusia untuk peserta didik SMP, 2) Mengetahui hasil respon peserta didik terhadap E-LKPD berbasis Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) peserta didik di SMPN 01 Kota Bengkulu. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan menggunakan model 4D (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). Namun penelitian ini hanya terbatas pada tahap Develop. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah: 1) Lembar angket wawancara, 2) Lembar angket  validasi  ahli  materi  dan  ahli  media,  3)  Lembar  angket  respon  peserta  didik.  Hasil  penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa hasil rata-rata uji validasi ahli materi 96% dengan kategori sangat valid. Sedangkan pada uji validasi media mendapatkan hasil rata-rata 95% dengan kategori sangat valid. Pada uji respon peserta didik mendapatkan hasil rata-rata 83,2% dengan kategori sangat baik. Berdasarkan hasil uji validasi dapat disimpulkan bahwa E-LKPD yang dikembangkan layak untuk diujicobakan. Berdasarkan hasil uji respon peserta didik mendapatkan kategori sangat baik hal ini dapat diartikan bahwa sebagian peserta didik memberikan respon sangat baik terhadap E-LKPD.   Kata kunci: E-lkpd, contextual teaching and learning, system ekskresi kulit manusia   ABSTRACT   This study aims to: 1) Determine the feasibility of E-LKPD based on Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) in the Human Skin Excretory System for junior high school students, 2) Know the results of student responses to E-LKPD based on Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) students at SMPN 01 Bengkulu City. The method used in this study is Research and Development (R&D) using a 4D model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). However, this research is only limited to the Development stage. The instruments used in this study are: 1) Interview questionnaire sheet, 2) Material expert and media expert validation questionnaire sheet, 3) Student response questionnaire sheet.  The results of this study showed that the average result of the material expert validation test was 96% with a very valid category. Meanwhile, the media validation test obtained an average result of 95% with a very valid category. In the response test, students got an average result of 83.2% in the very good category. Based on the results of the validation test, it can be concluded that the E-LKPD developed is feasible to be tested. Based on the results of the student response test getting a very good category, this can be interpreted that some students give a very good response to E-LKPD.   Keywords: E-lkpd, contextual teaching and learning, human skin excretory system
