Abstract

Pembelajaran statistika di Sekolah Dasar cenderung tersaji secara konvensional, akibatnya siswa belum memahami konsep pengumpulan dan  penyajian data dengan baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaran statistik berbasis pendekatan  Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan tipe Plomp terdiri dari tiga tahap, yaitu tahap pendahuluan, tahap pengembangan atau prototype (pembuatan prototipe), dan  tahap evaluasi. Subjek penelitian ini yaitu peserta didik kelas V Sekolah Dasar Negeri 18 dan Sekolah Dasar Negeri 01 V Koto Timur Kabupaten Padang Pariaman. Data penelitian didapat melalui tes, observasi dan catatan lapangan. Data dianalisis secara naratif berasal penelitian ini sudah dihasilkan LKPD dan  RPP yang valid sinkron menggunakan prinsip serta karakteristik pendekatan Realistic Mathematics Education (RME). Perangkat pembelajaran dengan Realistic Mathematics Education (RME), simpel dari segi pelaksanaan, kemudahan, efesien waktu dan efektif sesuai dengan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan kegiatan belajar siswa prestasi tinggi, sedang dan rendah dalam pembelajaran matematika di kelas IV, serta faktor yang mempengaruhi kegiatan belajar siswa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan 6 orang informan. Teknik pengumpul data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Data ini diolah dengan cara mereduksi data, penyajian data, terakhir penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian di kelas IV MIS tahfidz Rabbani Kota Solok menggambarkan bahwa siswa prestasi tinggi selalu mempersiapkan diri dan perlengkapan belajar sebelum pembelajaran di mulai, menyimak penjelasan guru, mencatat, berani mengemukakan pendapat, serta melakukan latihan dengan membahas soal-soal yang ada. Sementara siswa prestasi sedang, kurang mempersiapkan diri sebelum mengikuti pembelajaran, kurang fokus dalam menyimak penjelasan guru, jarang mengemukakan pendapat, serta kurang melakukan latihan setelah pembelajaran. Siswa prestasi rendah sangat kurang dalam mempersiapkan diri dan sering lupa membawa perlengkapan belajar, tidak memperhatikan guru saat menjelaskan pelajaran, tidak mau bertanya, serta tidak melakukan latihan setelah pembelajaran.

Abstract

Perangkat pembelajaran yang digunakan selama ini belum dikaitkan dengan permasalahan kontekstual, selain itu hasil belajar peserta didik juga masih rendah. Hal ini disebabkan oleh sumber belajar yang masih bersifat umum dan belum dikaitkan dengan keseharian peserta didik. Berdasarkan permasalahan ini maka peneliti mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaran berbasis strategi relating, experiencing, applying, cooperating, transferring (REACT). Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan dampak atau efektivitas perangkat pembelajaran matematika berbasis REACT terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis peserta didik kelas VII SMP. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan dengan materi bilangan bulat yang meliputi RPP dan LKPD. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII SMPN 1 Lengayang yang berjumlah 23 orang. Prosedur pengembangan yang digunakan adalah model Plomp yang terdiri atas tiga tahap, yaitu tahap analisis pendahuluan, tahap pengembangan prototipe, dan tahap penilaian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran yang dihasilkan telah bersifat praktis dan efektif. Dari hasil tes akhir nilai yang berada di atas KKM sebanyak 18 orang peserta didik. Berarti nilai peserta didik yang tuntas adalah 78,26 % dan yang tidak tuntas sebanyak 21,73 % dari peserta didik yang ikut ujian. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa hasil belajar peserta didik setelah menggunakan perangkat pembelajaran matematika berbasis REACT meningkat

Abstract

Perubahan kurikulum terjadi untuk menyempurnakan sistem pendidikan agar menyesuaikan dengan inovasi perkembangan teknologi dan ilmu pengetahuan. Perubahan kurikulum menjadi penting dilakukan untuk memberikan meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan bagi peserta didik dan mendorong kreativitas guru dalam proses pembelajaran. Pemerintah menawarkan Kurikulum 2013 dan Kurikulum merdeka dalam proses pembelajaran. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji implementasi Kurikulum 2013 dan Kurikulum Merdeka dalam proses pelajaran matematika. Kurikulum matematika mengacu pada penerapan Kurikulum 2013 dan Kurikulum Merdeka yang berorientasi pada keterampilan abad 21 yaitu keterampilan berpikir kreatif (creative thinking), berpikir kritis dan pemecahan masalah (critical thinking and problem solving), berkomunikasi (communication), dan berkolaborasi (collaboration). Desain pada penelitian ini adalah literature review dengan jumlah literature utama yaitu sebanyak 31 artikel. Data yang digunakan bersumber dari database google schoolar dengan kata kunci perubahan kurikulum matematika, kurikulum 2013 matematika, dan kurikulum merdekaBerdasarkan hasil analisis ditemukan bahwa perbedaan signifikan mata pelajaran matematika dalam kurikulum 2013 dan kurikulum merderka yaitu proses pembelajaran projek dan sistem penilaian berbasis assesmen untuk meningkatkan kemampuan matematika pada level internasional yaitu TIMSS dan PISA. Karakteristik Kurikulum Merdeka juga menekankan pembelajaran melalui budaya (etnomatematika) dan kemampuan computational thinking dalam belajar matematika.

Abstract

This paper examines the development and analysis of mathematics learning tools based on Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) to enhance problem-solving skills in elementary school students. The research follows a development methodology, utilizing the Plomp development model, which includes three phases: preliminary research, development or prototyping, and assessment. Data collection methods comprised validation sheets, practicality test questionnaires, and question sheets. Both qualitative and quantitative analyses were performed on the collected data. Validity was assessed using a Likert scale, while practicality was evaluated through descriptive techniques and a Likert scale, and effectiveness was measured using a specific formula. The categorized percentage values were based on modified exposure levels. Additionally, the effectiveness of the learning tools was analyzed using student test scores, with hypothesis testing conducted via a t-test at an α level of 0.05. The content and language validity, as evaluated by validators, achieved a score of 92.54%, indicating a very valid category. Teacher responses rated the practicality of the learning tools at 97.85%, and student responses rated it at 95.86%, both indicating high practicality. The average final test score for students' problem-solving abilities was 94.69. These results suggest that the RME-based learning tools developed are highly suitable for use in fifth-grade in elementary school.

This study investigated mathematics teachers' perceptions in Indonesia concerning the effectiveness of INC and the supporting programs, such as the National Assessment (NA) and Pancasila Student Profile (PSP), in improving students' numeracy skills. It also aimed to identify mathematics teachers' challenges in integrating numeracy skills into the curriculum and these programs. A mixed-method study with a sequential explanatory design was used to achieve this objective. The data collection was carried out through quantitative and qualitative approaches. Closed questionnaires were explicitly used for quantitative data, while open questionnaires and interviews were used for qualitative data. Inferential statistics were used to analyze the quantitative data and a thematic analysis for qualitative data. The quantitative results showed that most teachers positively perceived the effectiveness of INC and the programs in empowering students' numeracy skills. The implementation of INC and PSP significantly influenced the empowerment of numeracy skills. The qualitative analysis provided an in-depth exploration of teachers' perceptions and the challenges faced in promoting numeracy skills in implementing INC and the programs.

Abstract

Based on the results of PISA, the numeracy literacy ability of Indonesian students is very low. Therefore, efforts are needed to improve numeracy literacy both in formal learning institutions such as schools and in non-formal learning institutions such as tutoring and orphanages. One of the orphanages that is used as a place of service is the Al Hidayah Padang Orphanage. There are various limitations in both facilities, infrastructure and experts (teachers) who can guide/accompany children in the dormitory, causing children's numeracy literacy skills to be still relatively low. In addition, motivation to read and learn mathematics needs to be increased again.  Therefore, the service team seeks to help the foster children of the Al Hidayah Padang Orphanage to be able to improve their numeracy literacy skills through mentoring activities and creative games.

Abstract

Literacy and numeracy are the abilities of students to use basic mathematics in solving daily life problems, and students should have it. Various studies have shown that Indonesian students' literacy and numeracy skills still need to improve. One of the solutions to this problem is RME, and one of the components that influence this skill is teachers as a facilitator and their experiences. Thus, this research aims to refigure how students who receive Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) literacy and numeracy skills improve based on teacher's experiences. The research subjects are third, fourth, and fifth-grade students in elementary schools in Padang. Three schools were selected for each grade level and taught by three teachers with different experiences. The students were given literacy and numeracy problems before and after RME instruction. The answers were assessed and grouped to examine the student's literacy and numeracy achievement. The research results show that student's literacy and numeracy skills are better with RME learning. Student's literacy and numeracy skills are not influenced by teachers' experience.
