Abstract

Telah dilaksanakan penelitian yang bertujuan untuk menghasilkan lembar kegiatan mahasiswa berbasis inkuiri terbimbing untuk melaksanakan praktikum secara virtual laboratory pada materi listrik dinamis yang valid dan praktis. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan melaui tiga tahapan yaitu tapan pendahuluan, tahap pengembangan, dan tahap evaluasi. Tahap evaluasi dilaksanakan dengan mengunakan tahap evaluasi tesmer. Sampel penelitian yaitu mahasiswa pendidikan fisika semester 1 yang menempuh mata kuliah praktikum fisika dasar. Teknik pengumpulan data dilaksanakan dengan dokumentasi, walktrough, dan angket. Kriteria kevalidan diperoleh dengan mengolah data hasil validasi ahli, sedangkan kriteria kepraktisan diperoleh dengan mengolah data hasil angket pada tahap one to one dan small group evaluation. Berdasarkan analisis data yang telah dilaksanakan diperoleh hasil bahwa Telah berhasil dikembangkan lembar kegiatan mahasiswa berbasis inkuiri terbimbing untuk melaksanakan praktikum secara virtual laboratory pada materi listrik dinamis yang valid dengan nilai 84,25% dengan kriteria valid. Telah berhasil dikembangkan lembar kegiatan mahasiswa berbasis inkuiri terbimbing untuk melaksanakan praktikum secara virtual laboratory pada materi listrik dinamis yang praktis dengan nilai 81,47% pada tahap one to one evaluation dengan kriteria sangat praktis dan 84,10% pada tahap small group evaluation dengan kriteria sangat praktis.It has been already done a research that purpose to produce a student activity sheet based on guided inquiry to carry out practicum in a virtual laboratory on valid and practical dynamic electrical materials.  This research is a research development through three stages namely preliminary stage, development stage, and evaluation phase. Evaluation stage is carried out by using testmer evaluation stage. The sample of research is physics students of semester 1 who take subject of  basic physics lab. Data collection techniques were carried out with documentation, walkthrough, and questionnaires. The validity criteria is obtained by processing the data of expert validation result, while the practicality criteria is obtained by processing the questionnaire data in one to one and small group evaluation. Based on the analysis of data that has been implemented, the result has been successfully developed a student activity sheet based on guided inquiry to carry out practicum in a virtual laboratory on valid dynamic electrical material with value of 84,25% with valid criteria. It has been successfully developed a student activity sheet based on guided inquiry to carry out virtual laboratory practicum in practical dynamic electrical materials with a value of 81.47% in the one to one evaluation stage with very practical criteria and 84.10% in small group evaluation stage with very practical criteria.

Abstract

The aim of research is to describe students’ answers toward PISA like tests withIndonesian contexts. The research involved 35 students that consisted of 11 groups.The total of Pisa like tests are five essay items.. The result of research showed that:1) 54.54% of students’s answers related to temperature and dangerous elements involcano dust toward crop plants; 2) 36% of students’ answers related to waves andfrequencies to solve question: effects of earthquake that caused differences of leveldistroys. 3) 27% of students’ answers related to kinds of gases that produced in thevolcano that reacted with rain water to solve question: effects of earthquake towardacid rain; 4) 27.3% of students’ answers related to lack of diversity and poluttion tosolve question: effect of vegetation destroys caused of smoke; and 5) only 18.18%of students’ answers related to abilities of CaCl2 solution to bond smoke to solvequestion: function of CaCl2 to reduce smoke. The research was concluded that67.28% of test items were not answered well based on answer keys.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan dengan menggunakan model pengembangan Rowntree yang terdiri dari tiga tahapan yaitu tahap persiapan, tahap persiapan penuliasan, tahap penulisan dan penyuntingan. Pada tahap penyuntingan menggunakan evaluasi Tessmer. Produk yang dikembangkan dalam penelitian ini yaitu LKPD berbasi Problem Based Learning dalam materi sistem starter pada mata pelajaran Pemeliharaan Kelistrikan Kendaraan Ringan (PKKR) di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan yang valid, praktis, dan efektif terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, walkthrough, kuesioner, observasi dan tes. Penelitian ini dinyatakan valid karena didapatkan melalui proses validasi dari para ahli yaitu ahli materi, desain dan bahasa. Untuk kepraktisan yang didapat melalui uji satu satu (one to one ) dan uji kelompok kecil (small group) dengan nilai rerata 4,47 dengan kategori sangat praktis. Pada tahap uji lapangan (field test) hasil yang didapat 28,35 yang menunjukkan peningkatan hasil belajar dengan rerata pretest 47,50 dan rerata posttest 75,75. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa LKPD berbasis problem based learning yang dikembangkan terbukti valid, praktis dan efektif terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini telah menghasilkan media pembelajaran berbasis moodle  yang valid, praktis, dan efektif terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian pengembangan dengan model pengembangan Rowntree, terdiri atas tiga tahap yaitu tahap perencanaan (planning), tahap pengembangan (development), dan tahap evaluasi (evaluation). Namun pada tahap evaluasi dimodifikasi menggunakan tahap evaluasi formatif  Tessmer terdiri atas self evaluation, one to one evaluation, smallgroup evaluation, dan fieldtest. Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas XI IPA di SMA Negeri 15 Palembang pada tahun pelajaran 2017/2018. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara walkthrough, angket, wawancara, observasi, dan tes. Pada tahap expert review, dilakukan oleh tiga orang ahli yaitu ahli materi, desain instruksional, dan media. Hasil validasi menyatakan bahwa produk media pembelajaran berbasis moodle yang digunakan valid dan layak untuk diujicoba. Berdasarkan hasil angket dan wawancara pada tahap one to one evaluation diperoleh data dengan rerata skor 4,69 (sangat praktis) yang menyatakan bahwa produk yang dikembangkan praktis. Hasil penelitian pada tahap small group evaluation yang didapatkan dari hasil angket menunjukkan rerata skor 4,5 (sangat praktis), sedangkan dari hasil field test menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran berbasis moodle yang digunakan pada mata pelajaran Biologi mampu meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta diidk. Rerata hasil yang didapatkan yaitu 27,01 pada saat pretest dan 74,15 posttest dengan rerata N-gain 0,64 (sedang).

Abstract

Penelitian  ini  bertujuan  untuk  menghasilkan  modul  elektronik  fisika  berbasis multirepresentasi pada materi fluida statis yang valid, praktis dan memiliki efektivitas terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik. Metode penelitian menggunakan model pengembangan hannafin and peck.Tahapan-tahapan  yang  dilakukan  pada  penelitian  ini  meliputi  tahap  perencanaan  (planning), tahap desain (design) dan tahap pengembangan (development). Hasil validitas diuperoleh melalui uji validitas yang dinilai dari 3 orang ahli yaitu ahli materi, ahli media dan ahli desain pembelajaran. Hasil rerata penilaian para ahli diperoleh angka sebesar 4,22 dari ahli materi; 4,3 dari ahli media dan 4,23 dari ahli desain pembelajaran, sehingga modul elektronik fisika berbasis multirepresentasi yang telah dikembangkan dinyatakan tinggi tingkat kevalidannya. Hasil kepraktisan diperoleh dengan rerata sebesar 4,26 dengan kategori  sangat praktis. Hasil uji lapangan menunjukan bahwa hasil belajar meningkat 45,37 dengan rata-rata skor pretest sebesar 35,55 sedangkan skor posttest sebesar 80,92, dengan N-Gain score sebesar 0,70 dengan kategori tinggi. Saran dari peneliti yakni diharapkan modul elektronik fisika berbasis multirepresentasi  ini  sebagai  bahan  rujukan untuk menambahkan  materi lainnya, Bagi peserta didik, peneliti mengharapkan penggunaan modul elektronik fisika berbasis multirepresentasi ini dijadikan salah satu bahan belajar mandiri peserta didik, Bagi guru, peneliti mengharapkan untuk menjadikan modul elektronik fisika berbasis multirepresentasi ini sebagai alternative bahan ajar dan sebagai referensi dalam kegiatan pembelajaran dikelas XI IPA.

Abstract

The use of banana hump flour as a raw material for making biodegradable plastic is an alternative to using banana starch plastic in an effort to reduce plastic waste. Bananas contain 66% carbohydrates, protein, water and essential minerals . To get biodegradable plastic, starch is added along with CMC (carboxy methylcellulose), glycerol and citronella oil as anti-bacterial and antioxidant. In this research, a research was conducted on the manufacture of biodegradable plastic mixture of starch, carboxy methyl cellulose (CMC), glycerol as a plasticizer and citronella oil by modifying CMC, glycerol and citronella oil. This study includes two variables, namely fixed variables and variable variables. Fixed variables include starch concentration with water 1:5, stirring speed 100 rpm and starch gelatinization temperature 70oC, while variables including CMC concentration include levels (5.5; 6.5 ; and 7.5) % (w/w), Citronella oil concentrations included (15; 20; and 25) % (w/v), and glycerol concentrations included (25; 35; and 45)% (w/v). This study aims to determine the effect of adding CMC citronella oil and glycerol as a plasticizer to the mechanical properties, morphology, and biodegradability tests , as well as the antioxidant activity of the resulting plastic . The results of this study indicate that biodegradable plastic has a tensile strength value of 0.210.38 kgf/mm2; elongation value between 16.3-54.20%; Morphological examination showed that the surface of the plastic was smooth and the plastic completely decomposed in the soil within 27 days. Abstract

The background of this research is the existence of globalization which makes education very important for all people. One way to significantly expand access to education is through distance learning (PJJ). PJJ can provide comfort for students to study independently anywhere and anytime. The implementation of PJJ has been widely carried out using LMS (Learning Management System). The purpose of this research is to produce a distance learning design based on e-learning on valid and practical temperature and heat material. This research uses mix method research with ADDIE development model. There are two subjects in this study, namely learning design in google classroom and students of class XI MIPA 1 SMA Negeri 15 Palembang, totaling 36 students. Instruments in this study were validation and practicality sheets and interviews. The results of the media and material validation questionnaire analysis as well as the media practicality questionnaire in the study obtained an average media validation score of 3.67 or 91.75%, the average material validation score obtained 3.31 or 82.75% and practicality questionnaire analysis got 3.13 or 78.07% , this shows that these media and materials are feasible and practical to use.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menggali kebutuhan akan adanya pengembangan E-learning berbasis STEM di sekolah menengah kejuruan (SMK) yang notabenenya memang sangat erat kaitannya dengan pendekatan STEM tersebut. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa wawancara dan penyebaran angket terhadap peserta didik kelas X di SMKN Sumatera Selatan yang terletak di kota Palembang. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Dalam pembelajaran secara daring, E-learning merupakan salah satu hal yang sangat sesuai dan layak dipilih dalam menyampaikan pembelajaran demi tercapainya tujuan pembelajaran; (2) Mayoritas peserta didik kelas X SMKN Sumatera Selatan merasa bahwa E-learning berbasis STEM perlu dikembangkan dan diterapkan pada pembelajaran mereka. Sehingga, berdasarkan pertimbangan dari poin-poin simpulan yang didapat, dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa  pengembangan E-learning berbasis STEM dalam pembelajaran fisika pada jenjang Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) sangat dibutuhkan.

Abstract

Communication and collaboration are essential skills that students must master in the 21st century. These skills can be raised and improved through systematic learning, such as the STEM approach. This study aims to determine the effect of STEM-based e-learning applications on high school students’ 2C (communication and collaboration) skills on wave material. This type of research was quasi-experimental, using the pretest-posttest method. The population of this study was 11th-grade students of the science program at public senior high school number 2 Palembang. Data analysis techniques used quantitative data analysis techniques to analyze the data collected from students’ 2C skills achievement scores. The results of data analysis on the average pretest on communication skills got a value of 54, while collaboration skill was 55. After applying STEM-based e-learning on wave material, the average post-test scores on communication and collaboration skills were 82.7 and 85.7. It showed that the students’ 2C skills increased after using STEM-based e-learning on wave material. The main finding of this study was that the application of STEM-based e-learning on wave material effectively improved students’ 2C (communication and collaboration) skills. It was evidenced by the analysis results of the N-gain test, which showed that students with communication skills scored 0.62 in the medium category and 0.68 in the medium category for collaboration skills.

Abstract

This research aims to identify physics concepts in South Sumatera's local wisdom. South Sumatera is one of the provinces in Indonesia with a very high level of diversity. The heterogeneous geographical and socio-cultural conditions in South Sumatera provide a strong background for linking the local wisdom of the area with physics learning. The research was carried out using observations, interviews, and documentation. The process revealed a connection between various local wisdoms in South Sumatera and various concepts in physics. Some of the identified local wisdoms include typical South Sumatera food, the environment around the Musi River, and typical South Sumatera buildings. The barges adhere to Archimedes' Law principles. Temperature and phase changes are closely related to the pempek making process. Making smoked fish uses the concepts of temperature and heat. Making salted fish utilizes the concept of heat transfer by radiation and evaporation. The process of making Kemplang closely aligns with the concepts of heat transfer, evaporation, and expansion. This local wisdom, when used as an object in physics learning, is highly suitable and relevant to the Merdeka Curriculum. In this way, students will more easily understand the learning they are doing.
