Abstract

Kemampuan membaca adalah salah satu unsur penting dalam perkembangan seseorang karena dengan membaca, seseorang akan memperoleh informasi, ilmu pengetahuan dan pengalaman-pengalaman baru. Semua yang diperoleh melalui membaca, akan memungkinkan orang tersebut untuk mempertinggi daya pikirnya, mempertajam pandangannya dan memperluas wawasannya. Dengan membaca, seorang siswa bisa menggali bakat dan potensi mereka, memacu peningkatan daya nalar, melatih konsentrasi, dan meningkatkan prestasi sekolahnya. Kemampuan membaca sangat penting untuk dikembangkan sejak usia dini karena pada masa ini hampir seluruh potensi anak mengalami masa peka untuk tumbuh dan berkembang secara cepat dan hebat. Pada usia TK (Taman Kanak-kanak), anak harus sudah mampu mengenal huruf, dalam hal ini bisa mengenal kata atau disebut membaca permulaan. Suasana belajar membaca permulaan harus diciptakan melalui kegiatan bermain edukatif yang sesuai dengan karakteristik anak usia dini yang memang masih senang bermain. Oleh karena itu, peneliti membuat media pembelajaran berupa Putaran Kata. Media Putaran Kata ini diharapkan dapat digunakan sebagai alat peraga sekaligus alat permainan edukatif dalam kegiatan pembelajaran membaca permulaan untuk anak usia dini yang dapat membuat anak tertarik, senang dan tanpa tekanan mengikuti kegiatan belajar

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to create new innovations to develop learning media for children so as to make children motivated and attract children's interest in learning the introduction of letters of the alphabet. This ADDICTIVE media was created through the Power Point Application. ADDICTIVE media is equipped with a display of alphabet letters that vary in color, there are animated images to attract children's interest, and is equipped with voice messages if children are still confused about the letters of the alphabet. This ADDICTIVE media was created to introduce the letters of the alphabet to early children and introduce children to technology.This study uses a development research model with Borg and Gall theory as a reference.The process of stages in this research, the researcher simplifies and restricts into three stages, namely: data collection, product design and design validation. The results of the calculation of the validation assessment of the acquisition of a value of more than 0.50 means that the value of valid requirements and product feasibility is obtained, then the product made by the researcher can be categorized as valid (feasible) and the acquisition of a value of less than 0.50 can be categorized as invalid (not feasible). Suggestions for further research is that the results of this research can be used as research references and to be taken into consideration to further deepen further research that is more interesting for early childhood.

Abstract

Efektivitas peningkatan pembelajaran dan pemanfaatan teknologi informasi berbasis elektronik yaitu dengan pembelajaran e-learning yang dapat diterapkan kedalam beberapa mata kuliah. SPADA Indonesia adalah salah satu program e-learning Direktorat Jenderal Pembelajaran dan Kemahasiswaan Kementerian Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset dan Teknologi untuk meningkatkan pemerataan akses terhadap pembelajaran yang bermutu di Perguruan Tinggi. Tujuan pelaksanaan SPADA adalah untuk memberikan panduan bagi para Dosen dalam merancang pembelajaran secara blended leaning yang menarik untuk mata kuliah daring. Metode pelaksanaan terdiri atas observasi awal, observasi lanjutan, forum group discussion, pelaksanaan pelatihan dan pendampingan dengan kombinasi ceramah, simulasi, dan evaluasi. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat berbentuk pelatihan. Pelatihan ini menghadirkan pembicara yang memiliki keahlian di bidang Psikologi Pendidikan dan PAUD, dan dihadiri Dosen-Dosen program studi Pendidikan Guru PAUD. Selama pelaksanaan kegiatan, tidak didapatkan kendala yang berarti. Interaksi diantara rekan Dosen lainnya dalam praktik dapat terlihat bahwa para Dosen senang mendapatkan metode belajar mengajar yang lebih efisien. Implikasi dari kegiatan ini dapat dilakukan secara berkelanjutan dengan topik yang sama yaitu Learning Management System (LMS) akan tetapi dengan penguasaan materi yang lebih mendalam, waktu yang lebih lama, dan juga dengan menambah peserta kegiatan yaitu mahasiswa.

Abstract

Early childhood art performance management training is given to kindergarten teachers to make it easier for teachers to manage the need to organize virtual art performances for early childhood, and while still paying attention to the psychological aspects of early childhood. The participants of this local culture-based early childhood virtual art performance management training were representatives of the 12 people of Pokja 02 Kediri City Kindergarten teachers, and the implementation took place at Santo Yoseph II Kindergarten, Kediri City. The methods used in this training are lectures, question and answer discussions and demonstrations, and mentoring. The main resource persons for this training were the chairperson and members of the team proposing the application of science and technology for the community, namely 4 people, assisted by 1 student. The results of this local culture-based early childhood virtual art performance management training are very useful for teachers. It is felt that most teachers still lack the knowledge and skills to design virtual art performances for early childhood, and the training organized is very helpful for teachers in designing ideas for virtual art performances for early childhood.

Abstract

IT (Information Technology) in education sector during the Covid-19 pandemic becomes great challenges. Information technology among education, educators and school programs are still interesting subjects to discuss. The internet quota from the Ministry of Education and Culture is an effort to help the students in learning process starts from Kindergarten up to Higher level. Combined research method and purposive sampling technique are used in this study. Distributing questionnaires and conducting interviews are implemented to collect the data. In learning process during the Covid-19 pandemic, the teachers or educators in Banyumas Regency began to develop and deepen their much needed capabilities of Information Technology. The results showed that the utilization of IT in Banyumas Regency has already been well provided, had a good internet connection, and gainned quota from the Ministry of Education and Culture. Media can be used are cell phones, laptop, social media such as Facebook, Instagram, whatsapp group, email, zoom, and google meet. Every effort was done to make the education success in every sub-district at Banyumas Regency. From the data obtained, almost 65% used Whatsapp Group effectively through video from cell phone, 20% through Instagram, 5% through YouTube, 5% through zoom, and 5% through google meet. In line with 21st century of education expert has four skills in active communication, collaborative, higher order thinking and problem solving related to education. There are also some other efforts can be done such as increasing learning and developing educational creativity. The success of learning in each component is able to influence each other.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the ability to read beginning by utilizing the development of media in the form of Pop up books. In this research, the type of research and development or commonly called R&D is used. The product validity data analysis technique uses the Aikens formula and in small group trials uses SPSS. From the analysis results can show the value of sig. ≥0.05 then it is said that the value of the questionnaire is declared valid. So it can be concluded that Pop up book media can improve early childhood reading skills.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the impact of the cooperative learning model on elementary school students' mathematics learning. Meta-analysis is the technique employed. The elementary school sample study, which covered experimental work using cooperative learning methods in math instruction, covered a range of 18 students. A coding sheet that compiles data and journal entries serves as the instrument in use. The average value of the effect, 0.39, falls into the large effect group according to an analysis of the overall effect's magnitude. The analysis's conclusions also demonstrate that the cooperative learning approach has an impact on math instruction at the primary school level.

Abstract

Student learning outcomes can measure the achievement of learning objectives, so increased learning outcomes can also determine the success of a lesson. Efforts to improve student learning outcomes can be made by implementing Classroom Action Research (CAR). Providing action in the form of a game-based learning approach using maze game media in classes where the learning process tends to be monotonous has the potential to be a solution to improving student learning outcomes. This action was carried out on class II students who had problems with low student learning outcomes. At the pre-cycle stage, the average grade II grade was only 51.6, and the classical completeness was only 40%. The action in applying a game-based learning approach using maze game media given to class II succeeded in increasing student learning outcomes in each cycle. In the first cycle, the average score was 68.3 and the classical learning mastery was 65.2%; in the second cycle, the average value was 78.3 and the classical learning mastery was 82.6%.

Abstract

One of the problems that has become a serious challenge in the world of education is improving the quality of education in rural areas, which is disadvantaged, outermost, and frontier. Teachers’ intrinsic work motivation is an important indicator of the quality of the teachers’ work to bring out qualified performance. This study aimed to investigate the role of basic psychological needs satisfaction as the mediator between work climate and intrinsic work motivation of early childhood education teachers in rural areas. A total of one hundred and seven early childhood education teachers participated in this research by filling out questionnaires on organizational climate, basic psychological needs satisfaction, and interest or pleasure questionnaires from the intrinsic motivation inventory. Data analysis techniques used IBM SPSS 22 and Smart PLS 3. The results of the study reveal that the work climate is a factor that influences basic psychological needs satisfaction and intrinsic work motivation. Furthermore, the results of the study also show that basic psychological needs satisfaction affects the intrinsic work motivation of teachers and becomes a factor that mediates the role of work climate on the intrinsic work motivation of early childhood education teachers in rural areas. Optimizing the mediating role of basic psychological needs satisfaction can bring a more positive atmosphere for the teacher's work climate, increasing the teacher's teaching assignments and work motivation. The results also show that basic psychological needs satisfaction affects the intrinsic work motivation of teachers and serves as a factor that mediates the role of work climate on the intrinsic work motivation of early childhood teachers in rural areas

Abstract

Permasalahan yang dihadapi orang tua sebagian besar kurang memiliki strategi yang baik untuk menumbuhkan motivasi belajar siswa. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat adalah untuk memberikan pengetahuan kepada orang tua siswa mengenai penerapan strategi peningkatan motivasi belajar anak melalui pendekatan learning by doing di MI Al-Hikmah Kecamatan Ngasem Kabupaten Kediri. Metode pelaksanaan pengabdian kepada masyarakat menggunakan pendekatan Participatory Action Research yang terdiri atas planning, action, dan evaluation yang menjadi alternatif penyelesaian masalah di lingkungan masyarakat. Kegiatan ini diikuti oleh orang tua/ wali murid siswa yang berjumlah 40 orang. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian antara lain: (1) hasil evaluasi kegiatan program pengabdian masyarakat  sudah relevan, sesuai, dan tersistem serta sudah sesuai dengan kebutuhan peserta dalam memahami materi kegiatan dengan prosentase 81,6% atau sangat baik; (2) hasil pemahaman tindak lanjut orang tua menunjukkan tingkat pemahaman orang tua dalam memahami strategi learning by doing dalam memotivasi belajar anak meningkat, sehinngga orang tua mampu menyelesaikan permasalahan motivas belajar anak secara bertahap, sistematis, dan berkesinambungan. Saran dari kegiatan pengabdian ini yaitu sekolah perlu melibatkan orang tua siswa dalam mendukung keefektifan belajar sehingga sekolah dan orang tua memiliki peran penting untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa.
