Abstract

The purpose learning in 2013 curriculum is demanding students competence holistic achievment  such us in knowledge, attitude, and also skill. it was proven by looking into 2013 curriculum which improved the balance in student’s hardskill and softskill. But, in the fact, analysis result of curriculum 2013 learning such as learning processes, learning device, and evaluation studying have not been achieved properly. The solution to these problem was the use of teaching material which integrated with spiritual intelligence in problem based model for competence achievement of grade X SMAN 16 padang students. This research used quasi experiment research which randomized control group only design. The research population sampling is grade X MIA 4 as experiment class and X MIA 5 as control class. The obtained data included spiritual attitude competence, knowledge, and skill of students. Data analysis for all data were processed by descriptive statistic, two average equations test, simple linier regresion and corelation analysis. Based on data analysis, conlude that there were significant different and impact for students achievement by using teaching material which integrated with spiritual intellegence for grade X SMAN 16 Padang, which significant value 0,05.

Abstract

The 21st century is known as the knowledge era. This era challenges students have various abilities. The government has answered this challenge by improving the quality of education through revising the 2006 curriculum become the 2013 curriculum. In the 2013 curriculum was applied integrated science teaching to improve competence of students. Another government effort was to encourage the school literacy program. But the real condition of the schools showed that knowledge aspect of students was still quite sufficient. One solution to solve this problem was to apply of integrated science worksheet by integrating the scientific literacy in teaching. The purpose of this research was to investigate the effects of the application of science student worksheet on the theme of the use of pressure by integrating scientific literacy on the competencies of grade VIII students in SMPN 31 Padang. The type of research which used was a quasi-experimental design with group Randomized Posttest-Only Control Grup Design. The sampling technique which used was purposive sampling and cluster random sampling. The population of this research was all grade VIII students of SMPN 31 Padang. The sample class consists of two classes, namely the experimental class and the control class. Class VIII.3 was used as the experimental class and class VIII.4 was used as the control class. The instruments which used in the data collection were written test sheet for knowledge aspect, observation sheet for attitude aspect, and performance assessment sheet for the skills aspect of competencies. The research data were analyzed by using descriptive statistics and a comparison of two means test. The result of hypothesis testing indicated that there was a significant difference between the competencies of students who use integrated science student worksheet with students didn’t use it. The result of this test indicated that integrated science worksheet has a significant effect on competencies of students, including aspects of knowledge, skills, attitudes on grade VIII in SMPN 31 Padang with 95% confidence level. Therefore, integrated science worksheet by integrating scientific literacy can be implemented for science teachers and students in science teaching.

Abstract

This research intends to produce interactive teaching materials that has been valid and practical tested. The use of interactive teaching materials that can support the learning process of Physics is one of the most appropriate solutions, namely learning material is presented in the steps of the scientific approach and contains character values. This research is a research and development (R&D) type that uses Sugiyono development model. Sugiyono development model has ten phases, that is potential and problems phases, data collection phase, product design phase, design validation phase, design revisions phase, product trials phase, product revision phase and mass production phase. But this research uses five phases only, that is potential and problems, data collection, product design, design validation, and design revisions phase. For validity and practicality test this research uses questionnaire instruments. The validy questionnaire instrument is filled by three Physics major of FMIPA UNP’s lecturers as the validators. For practicality questionnaire instrument is filled by three teachers and twenty five students of SMA Pembangunan Laboratorium UNP as the practitioners. Finale data of the questionnaire instrument is analyse by using Likert scale. From validity test, the developed interactive teaching material is rated very valid with percentage average score 83,8 %. From practicality tests, the developed interactive teaching material is rated very practice by teachers and students with percentage average score by teachers 88,3 % and percentage average score by students 88,3 % too. It means that the developed interactive teaching material is proper to be used in school as learning media.

Abstract

In the 2013 curriculum, science teaching is conducted in integrated patter and it is supported by the school literacy movement to improve competence of students. Integrated science teaching is expected to improve three competencies of students including attitude, knowledge, and skill. However, the real conditions in school show that integrated science teaching and school literacy movement can’t implemented optimally. One solution that can be done is to use the integrated science student worksheet by integrating the skills literacy on motion theme in life. The purpose of this research was to investigate the influence of the use of Integrated science student worksheet by integrating the skills literacy of motion themes in life toward the competences of grade VIII students in SMPN 8 Padang. The type of research which conducted can be grouped into quasi experiment type with one group one group pretest-posttest design. Samples were obtained by using the purposive sampling technique. The research instruments consist of observation sheet for attitude competency, written test for knowledge competency and performance assessment for skill competency. Data analysis which used in this research consist of descriptive statistical analysis, simple linear regression analysis, significant relationship test and comparison test. Based on the result of data analysis can be stated that the use of integrated science student worksheet by integrating the skills literacy gives significant influence on the competence of knowledge and skill of grade VIII students respectively 38.44% and 35.05%. In addition, the use of integrated science student worksheet also gives a significant influence on the attitude of the grade VIII students in SMPN 8 Padang.

Abstract

The study of nanocomposites have been done much by researchers. Nanocomposites is a mixture of nanoparticle powder consisting of two materials called matrix and filler. The filler used in this study is CoFe2O4 and the matrix is PVDF. This study advantageous for investigating the micro structure of CoFe2O4/PVDF nanocomposite layer. The micro structure to be is the size of crystals, the micro strains, the size of grains and the thickness of nanocomposite layers. It is a research experiment that uses variations in composition 10 ml : 10 ml, 10 ml : 20 ml, 10 ml : 30 ml. The characterization tools used were X-ray Diffraction (XRD) and Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM). XRD is used to get the corner of two theta and a half peak width (FWHM) from a layer of nanocomposite. SEM characterization gets to morphology of the surface and the thickness of nanocomposite layers. The thickness of a nanocomposite layer obtained is that 25.11 m, 29.81 m, and 35.51 m. Based of research already done, the more thickness of a nanocomposite layers the size of crystals and micro strains has also increased.

Abstract

Colorimeter is a color measuring instrument used to measure the amount of output voltage produced by each different dye. The dyes used here are red and orange color dyes as the beginning of the experiment. The samples used can be used in hazardous and harmless coloring materials, but in this experiment using non-hazardous artificial materials. The results of the trial output are displayed on the LCD. This tool uses LED as a source of light emitted in samples that are red and orange, then captured by the OPT101 Sensor which converts light into an output voltage. The output voltage is amplified by a voltage amplifier circuit. The results of the output voltage are confirmed on the arduino which is then displayed on the LCD. The program from Arduino is programmed using Arduino software which is then compiled or sent to Arduino which is then displayed on the LCD. The results of the colormetical device were made on a 2.4 volt red sample and an orange sample of 3.13 volts. So that from the measurement results we can distinguish colors from the sample used

Abstract

Laboratory have a function important in research. Laboratory of science must be have instrumentation who sophisticated. Chemistry not separated from research, one of the research of chemistry is colorimetric.  Colorimetric is a method used in chemical analysis. The method of colorimetric is used intensity of solution. The instrumentation who measuring intensity of solution is colorimeter. This research is make colorimeter used sensor photodiode. Sensor photodiode is photo detector and very sensitivity to radiance. The sample of research is food dye. The food dye in this research is green. The chosen of food dye causes the sensor just can detection color of green. The result showed the measurement of average output voltage is 1,378 V. The output sensor not stable cause the sensor have high sensitivity. Desain of instrument colorimetric is a black box. The Selection of black box cause the measurement result are not affected by external light. The research light source is monochromatic.

Abstract

ABSTRACTMeasurement of the magnetic field is important because many objects have magnet and useful in life. To measure the magnetic field of an object is required a sensor. One type of sensor to detect the magnetic field is fluxgate sensor. Fluxgate magnetic sensor is a sensor that works by changing the magnetic flux around the sensor element. By utilizing the working principle of the fluxgate sensor can be madethe object distance measuring system base on digital fluxgate sensor. The purpose of this research is to determine: static characteristics of sensor fluxgate Z61, performance specifications and design specifications of the digital object distance measuring system based fluxgate sensor. Measurements of magnetic that influenced of distance from the sensor output voltage has been done. The data obtained through measurements was analyzed in two methods, those are statistics and graphs. Base on data and analysis conducted to know the sensitivity and accuracy of the fluxgate sensor Z61. Based on the data and alysisis can be presented three results. First Z61 fluxgate sensor static characteristics include transfer function of   V0=0.622x 0.0245x2+3977, sensitivity S=0.049x-0622 and accuracy 0999. The second device length is approximately 30 cm with 20 cm wide with acapacity measurement          of 7 millimeters to 15 millimeters by using a magnet as the source of the magnetic field, Z61 type fluxgate sensors, a micrometer screw and microcontroller ATMEGA 8535. Third design specifications of the digital object distance measuring system based fluxgate sensor consists of a percentage error of 12%, precision 0.875 and accuracy 0.831. Keywords: measurements system, magnetic field, fluxgate sensor

Abstract

Physics experiments have a very important role. The most important thing that must be considered in conducting physics experiments is the set of experiments. One of the physics experiments that has been developed is the experimental set of simple harmonic motion in pendulum but not yet completely complete. The research that will be conducted is a type of R & D research with a 4D model. Where the 4D development model has 4 stages, define, design, develop and dissemination. The measurement technique used is direct and indirect measurements. Direct measurement is done to determine the angle used. Indirect measurements are made to determine the number of oscillations of pendulum (n), period (T), and length of rope (l). Data obtained through measurements in the form of data accuracy and accuracy and analyzed in two ways, namely statistically and graphically. So that the average accuracy is 98.60% and the average accuracy is 0.997 with a validity level of 86.66%.

Abstract

Perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi tidak terlepas dari peran berbagai disiplin ilmu yang ada, salah satunya Fisika. Salah satu fenomena fisika adalah gerak jatuh bebas. Penelitian ini menjelaskan spesfikasi desain, validasi  dan spesifikasi performansi set eksperimen gerak jatuh bebas. Hasil dari sistem performansi set eksperimen gerak jatuh bebas ini terdiri sistem mekanik dan elektronik. Sistem mekanik terdiri dari sensor photogate,sensor ping, sensor getaran, statif, lengan statif, dan dasar statif. Sistem elektronik set eksperimen gerak jatuh bebas terdiri dari catudaya, rangkaian LCD, rangkaian reset, rangkaian pengontrolan magnet, rangkaian sensor getar, rangkaian sensor ping dan rangkaian sensor photogate. Hasil darispesifikasi  dari set eksperimen gerak jatuh bebas terdiri dari ketelitian, ketepatan dan validasi alat. Ketepatan pengukuran set eksperimen ini adalah 97,84%, ketelitian dari set eksperimen ini adalah 99,63% dengan standar deviasi sebesar 0,00022 dan validasi set eksperimen ini berada pada kriteria sangat valid dengan nilai rata-rata validasi tenaga ahli adalah 86,66%.
