Abstract

Many adolescents have not yet mastered sexual education and social boundaries at the junior high school level. Several students are unable to distinguish between safe and dangerous social behaviors. The community service program was aimed at adolescents to improve knowledge and awareness about sexual education, reproductive health, and social norms. This program was conducted at SMP Negeri 2 Bireuen with 33 students of class IX, consisting of 20 females and 13 males. The method used was a combination of interactive lectures, group discussions, question-and-answer sessions, video media, and evaluation using a one-group pretest-posttest design. The results showed that there was a significant difference in the level of knowledge before and after the intervention program. The average pretest score was 56.3, while the posttest average score was 82.7 with an increase of 26.4 points. In addition, 87.9% of the participants were able to answer correctly about the material delivered and showed a more positive attitude towards the effect of unhealthy relationships on health, with a p-value <0.05. This program effectively increases knowledge and awareness about sexual education and social norms among adolescents in SMP Negeri 2 Bireuen. It is recommended that this program be conducted periodically with active participation from schools and parents.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh motivasi dan disiplin kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan pada Bank Aceh Syariah KC Lhokseumawe. Fenomena yang melatarbelakangi penelitian ini adalah pentingnya optimalisasi sumber daya manusia dalam menghadapi persaingan perbankan syariah yang semakin kompetitif di Aceh. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif dan asosiatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh karyawan Bank Aceh Syariah KC Lhokseumawe, di mana pengambilan sampel dilakukan menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh untuk memastikan representasi data yang akurat. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi langsung, studi dokumen, dan penyebaran kuesioner menggunakan skala Likert. Sebelum data dianalisis, dilakukan uji kualitas data yang meliputi uji validitas dan reliabilitas guna memastikan instrumen penelitian konsisten dan akurat. Metode analisis data yang diterapkan adalah analisis regresi linear berganda, uji F (simultan), uji T (parsial), serta uji koefisien determinasi (R2). Hasil penelitian secara simultan menunjukkan bahwa variabel motivasi dan disiplin kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Secara parsial, hasil uji T membuktikan bahwa masing-masing variabel independen, yaitu motivasi dan disiplin kerja, memiliki kontribusi signifikan dalam meningkatkan capaian kerja individu, sehingga seluruh hipotesis dalam penelitian ini dinyatakan diterima. Berdasarkan uji koefisien determinasi, diperoleh nilai R Square sebesar 0,532 atau 53,2%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa variabel motivasi dan disiplin memiliki kemampuan yang kuat dalam menjelaskan variasi kinerja karyawan, sementara sisanya sebesar 46,8% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak diteliti dalam model ini. Implikasi dari penelitian ini menyarankan manajemen bank untuk terus memperkuat sistem penghargaan dan ketegasan regulasi internal guna menjaga performa organisasi.

Abstract

Educating high school students about processing organic waste into liquid organic fertilizer using the ABCD (Asset-Based Community Development) approach aims to increase environmental awareness and practical skills among students. In this program, students are involved in a series of workshops that teach the process of processing organic waste through fermentation, as well as the importance of sustainable waste management. The ABCD method focuses on utilizing the potential and resources available in the community, encouraging students to collaborate on practical projects. This method has several stages, namely discovery, design, define and destiny. The stakeholders involved are the principal, biology teacher and 20 students of SMAN 2 Sungai Tarab, Tanah Datar, West Sumatra. Based on the results of the activities that have been carried out, it was found that with the ABCD approach, students of SMAN 2 Sungai Tarab have succeeded in developing their assets in the form of increasing skills in processing organic waste into liquid organic fertilizer and initiating the creation of POC sustainably. Thus, education on processing organic waste into liquid organic fertilizer with the ABCD approach can improve organic waste processing skills and the younger generation's concern for the environment.

Abstract

Pendidikan inklusif menjadi perhatian utama dalam menghadapi era society 5.0 yang menekankan keseimbangan antara kemajuan teknologi dan nilai – nilai kemanusiaan. Transformasi digital melalui kecerdasaan buatan, big data, dan internet of things membuka peluang besar dalam meningkatkan kualitas dan akses pendidikan, namun juga menghadirkan tantangan dalam menjamin keadilan dan kesetaraan bagi seluruh peserta didik. Artikel ini memiliki tujuan  untuk mengkaji peran pendidikan inklusif dalam sorotan dunia pendidikan global pada era society 5.0 serta mengidentifikasi peluang dan tantangan implementasinya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi literatur dengan menganalisis artikel ilmiah, laporan kebijakan, dan praktik pendidikan inklusif dari berbagai negara. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan inklusif di era Society 5.0 tidak hanya berorientasi pada pemanfaatan teknologi digital, tetapi juga menekankan penguatan nilai empati, kolaborasi, dan penghormatan terhadap keberagaman. Teknologi berfungsi sebagai sarana pendukung pembelajaran yang adaptif dan personal, sementara pendidik berperan penting sebagai fasilitator dan penggerak nilai kemanusiaan. Dengan demikian, sinergi antara kebijakan pendidikan, kesiapan sumber daya manusia, dan pemanfaatan teknologi yang beretika menjadi kunci dalam mewujudkan pendidikan inklusif yang berkelanjutan di era Society 5.0.

Abstract

This study aims to review the implementation of improving teacher pedagogical competence at SD Negeri 2 Seunagan, Nagan Raya Regency. Pedagogical competence is an important ability that must be possessed by every teacher in designing, implementing, and evaluating learning. Based on the results of observations there are teachers who teach using conventional methods. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. The research informants consisted of five subject teachers. The results of the study indicate that training and support from the principal have a positive impact on improving teacher pedagogical competence, which includes student understanding, curriculum development, designing and implementing educational learning, and evaluating learning outcomes. This finding confirms that the role of teachers provides direct changes to thinking patterns and improving student learning outcomes. Strategic techniques are needed to improve the quality of the learning process in schools through training activities for teachers according to curriculum needs. This study is expected to be a reference for teachers to continue to improve their pedagogical quality through training, active cooperation in schools and character in developing themselves with the quality of learning as professional teachers.

Abstract

Education have shifted into digital environments, where algorithm-driven platforms intensify extremist discourse and weaken tolerance among students. Previous studies highlight the limitations of conventional deradicalization programs, which rely on offline seminars or punitive measures and fail to address the digital and cognitive mechanisms of radicalization. To address this gap, this study investigates whether integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), blockchain, and cognitive science can provide an effective and ethical counter-radicalization framework for universities. Guided by the hypothesis that a multidisciplinary approach combining technological detection with cognitive restructuring yields measurable psychosocial impact, a Research and Development (R&D) design was applied across six stages, involving students, faculty mentors, and expert validators in Aceh, Indonesia. The AI–NLP module, fine-tuned with local data, achieved high accuracy (precision 0.94; recall 0.89), while CBT-based cognitive microlearning increased tolerance scores by 28% (p < 0.01) and reduced risky online interactions by 40%. Findings demonstrate that integrating disruptive technologies with cognitive-behavioral methods produces both technical and attitudinal benefits. The study contributes theoretically to technology-mediated deradicalization and practically to policy-driven curriculum design, with implications for cross-cultural scalability and longitudinal research..

Abstract

This study aims to develop an interactive learning media based on ethnoscience integrated with spiritual values for elementary school IPAS learning, as well as to examine its feasibility and effectiveness in improving students’ learning outcomes. However, previous studies on interactive learning media in elementary IPAS tend to focus primarily on technical features without integrating local cultural contexts and spiritual values, resulting in less meaningful learning experiences. Therefore, this study offers a novel approach by integrating ethnoscience and spiritual values into gamified interactive media. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the 4D model, which includes the stages of define, design, develop, and disseminate. The participants consisted of 28 fifth-grade students at SD Negeri 27 Banda Aceh. Data were collected through observation, questionnaires, interviews, and learning achievement tests. The findings revealed that the developed media achieved a validity level of 90%, categorized as highly valid. In terms of effectiveness, students’ learning outcomes improved significantly, as indicated by the increase in the average pretest score from 65.00 to 90.18 in the posttest, with an N-Gain score of 0.72 (high category). Furthermore, students’ responses toward the media reached 91.9%, indicating a very positive perception. Therefore, the interactive learning media based on ethnoscience and spiritual values is considered both feasible and effective for use in elementary school IPAS learning.

Abstract

This study examined the principal’s managerial competence in improving teacher performance and educational quality at public elementary schools in Cluster 6 of Kota Bahagia District, South Aceh. The research focused on managerial functions including planning, organizing, directing, and supervision implemented by school principals in managing educational activities. A qualitative approach with a case study design was employed in this study. The participants consisted of 24 respondents, including 8 principals and 16 teachers and administrative staff. Data were collected through interviews, observations, questionnaires, and documentation. Data analysis used descriptive qualitative analysis based on the Miles and Huberman interactive model, including data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings revealed that principals had implemented managerial functions relatively well through the preparation of School Work Plans (RKS) and School Activity and Budget Plans (RKAS), task distribution based on teacher competence, academic supervision, and continuous instructional guidance. Teacher involvement in planning and school management strengthened coordination and supported instructional effectiveness. Supervision and professional coaching conducted periodically contributed to improving teacher discipline, instructional responsibility, and classroom learning quality. Principals’ managerial competence therefore played an important role in improving teacher performance and educational quality within rural elementary school contexts.

Abstract

This community service activity was motivated by the community's limited knowledge and skills in processing Nile tilapia into economically valuable products. The approach used was participatory counseling and training, including material delivery, practical demonstrations, discussions, and evaluation through pretest and posttest. The program involved 30 participants, consisting of housewives and local fishery entrepreneurs. The results showed an improvement in participants' understanding, with the average pretest score of 61.10 increasing to 82.23 in the posttest, along with the ability to comprehend all processing stages from raw material selection to packaging. This activity also encouraged the community's interest in developing fish-based businesses as an alternative means to increase household income and contributed to economic empowerment as well as strengthened participation in the development of local products.
