Abstract

It is difficult for some communities to obtain corporate funding under these conditions, due to a lack of financial literacy and uneven distribution of financial institutions. In addition, the low level of literacy and understanding of the community contributes to the community's decision to borrow money from Bank Emok. The community service team used the community education method in conducting education or socialization to residents of Medalkrisna Village, Bojongmangu Subdistrict in an effort to improve communication on the importance of Sharia literacy in harmonizing family finances. The results of community service to the local community show that the community understands more about financial literacy and understands the dangers of Bank Emok so that the local community is interested in switching to using Sharia Banks.

Abstract

The increasingly diverse needs of society have made financing the most popular banking service product. KPR products certainly require a marketing strategy. One of the interesting products offered by BRI Syariah Tambun Sub-Branch Office (KCP) is the Home Ownership Financing/Mortgage (KPR) product. This research aims to determine the marketing strategy for Mortgage Financing (KPR) between two banks, namely Conventional Banks and Sharia Banks at Bank BRI KCP Tambun and BRISyariah KCP Tambun. The data sources used are primary and secondary. Data collection was carried out using interview and documentation techniques. The results of this research show that KPR products at Bank BRI and BRI Syariah, in their implementation, apply similar marketing strategies. At Bank BRI, in implementing its marketing strategy, it takes a conventional approach by referring to the strategy of providing interest and using a credit approach with low interest; it places more emphasis on KPR marketing strategies, which tend to prioritize Islamic principles. Managerial implications emerge from the comparative analysis, shedding light on the strengths and weaknesses of each approach.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the form of involvement of teachers and parents in developing social interaction of autistic children at school. The instruments used in this study were developed based on the theory of teacher and parent involvement according to Epstein (2010), which includes six typologies: parenting, communication, volunteering, learning at home, decision-making, and collaborating with the community. The research was conducted by disseminating an online questionnaire using a Google form. The data analysis technique used is quantitative descriptive with pivot table analysis. The data is grouped into Excel format based on the research problem, calculated using pivot table analysis, and the results are interpreted as a pivot chart. The results of the study show that most teachers have provided training to parents on how to improve children's social interaction skills, but collaboration with outside parties is still minimal. Most parents have also actively taught their children how to interact socially well.

Abstract

Reading parks are places to collect various reading materials and care for literacy, especially for the surrounding community. Literacy culture needs to be improved along with the times and technological advances. The implementation of this program is to build reading parks starting from early childhood to elementary school children and all students who need to be encouraged from an early age about the culture of literacy so that they are not complacent and addicted to technology. Reading is the main capital for the progress of all students, therefore reading hobbies need to be grown in society from an early age. Indonesia is a country with a very low literacy culture, to the point that UNESCO states that Indonesia is in the second lowest position in the world. This is very concerning. Therefore, this community service in KKN increases interest in reading by starting from the smallest scope, namely by establishing a Reading Park in Cilangkara Village, Serang Baru District. The purpose of this service is to increase interest in reading among children and adolescents in Cilangkara Village. The community service method applies community education. The results of the service have a significant impact in the form of easier access to various reading materials, thus encouraging interest in reading among the community.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to provide outreach and education regarding the application of aquaponics and cultivating catfish using materials available in the environment to the people of Sumbereja Village, Pebayuran District, Bekasi Regency. The majority of residents in this village are farmers and livestock breeders, so the implementation of aquaponics is expected to increase economic income and meet household needs. Aquaponics is an agricultural system that combines the cultivation of fish and vegetable plants by using fish waste as nutrients for plants. This system also functions as a dirt filter, maintaining water quality. Catfish were chosen as cultivated fish because they have high nutritional value. Apart from that, catfish is also suitable for consumption by various age groups. This activity involves socialization, making simple aquaponics, and practical training. As a result, participants became more aware of waste management and aquaponic technology. They are also enthusiastic about applying it in their homes. During the evaluation, some participants were even interested in trying to make liquid organic fertilizer from dry leaf waste and household waste. It is hoped that this activity can continue to be developed to increase residents' ability to utilize the resources around them, as well as improve environmental conditions and increase family income.
