Abstract

This research began from issues of the low Mathematic abilities students of class IX MTs Darussalam. This research is aimed to reveal the effect of Cooperatif modelswith Hands On Mathematic in mathematic students ability started from high, averageand lowof students in influencing early understanding concept ability. This research is a quasi experimental design. The population in this research is all students of class IX MTsN Darussalam Selasa. The sampling technique used is Random Sampling. Samples of this research are the students of class IX.1 as the experimental class and class IX.3 as the control class. The instrument used is a test consists of beginning capabilities test and posttest to see the communication mathematic ability. Data analysis was performed using t-test.There are some conclusions that can be acquired based on the results of research and discussion. First, the students which use contextual learning type with hands on mathematics technic have higher communication mathematic ability than students that use the conventional learning. Second, the high,average and low starting students ability which use contextual learning type with hands on mathematics technic have higher communication mathematic ability than students that use the conventional learning

Abstract

Keterampilan pemecahan masalah matematika peserta didik Indonesia masih rendah.. Peserta didik Indonesia mengalami kesulitan dalam memodelkan situasi atau masalah kompleks secara matematika dan kesulitan dalam memilih, membandingkan serta mengevaluasi strategi pemecahan masalah matematika. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini maka dibutuhkan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik yang bisa menumbuhkan keterampilan siswa dalam memecahkan masalah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan dan mendeskripsikan validitas LKPD elektronik berbasis masalah terintegrasi nilai karakter percaya diri untuk keterampilan pemecahan masalah matematika peserta didik Sekolah Dasar. Jenis Penelitian Research and Development dengan model pengembangan 4D. Data penelitian yang berbentuk kuantitatif diperoleh dari penilaian validator ahli, segi isi, bahasa dan design. Teknik analisis data menggunakan skala likert. Validitas mendapatkan rerata skor 3,4 pada aspek isi, 3,53 pada aspek bahasa dan 3,37 pada aspek design. Berdasarkan validitas tersebut e-LKPD yang dikembangkan dinyatakan Sangat valid digunakan untuk melatih keterampilan pemecahan masalah Matematika SD kelas V pada materi penjumlahan pecahan dengan penyebut berbeda

Abstract

Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis secara konseptual pemikiran digitalisme yang diterapkan oleh guru penggerak di era metaverse. Penelitian ini merupakan literature review. Digitalisme merupakan pemikiran yang menggunakan teknologi agar bertindak secara efektif dan efisien. Teknologi digital berfungsi sebagai platform untuk berkomunikasi, berinovasi, dan mengembangkan kreativitas manusia. Teknologi ini terus berkembang dan saat ini dikenal dengan era metaverse, termasuk dalam dunia pendidikan. Pemanfaatan teknologi metaverse sebagai alat pendidikan memberikan kesempatan untuk mempelajari hal-hal baru. Ini bisa membuat proses pembelajaran menjadi lebih mudah, efektif, efisien, lebih inovatif dan lebih menarik dengan harapan dapat meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan. Saat ini digunakan Kurikulum Merdeka dengan salah satu programnya adalah Guru Penggerak. Guru penggerak merupakan agen perubahan yang harus meningkatkan literasi digitalnya. Guru harus melek teknologi dan menggunakannya dalam pembelajaran. Orang tua juga perlu belajar dan beradaptasi agar bisa mendampingi tumbuh kembang anaknya. Pendidikan karakter harus terus dimaksimalkan, baik di lembaga pendidikan formal maupun non formal. Dalam Kurikulum Merdeka pengembangan kemampuan siswa dilakukan secara holistik melalui perwujudan Profil Pelajar Pancasila yang profil lulusannya mempunyai kemampuan dan berkarakter sesuai dengan nilai-nilai luhur Pancasila.

Abstract

This community service activity was conducted at MAS Yati to enhance education quality through training on Augmented Reality (AR) technology, development of interactive learning media, and implementation of innovative teaching methods. The training equipped educators and students with technical skills to utilize AR for creating engaging, contextual, and applicative learning experiences. The results showed an improvement in understanding and skills among both educators and students, expected to positively impact the learning process at MAS Yati. This activity was supported by Universitas Adzkia and MAS Yati through facilities and various other forms of assistance. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilaksanakan di MAS Yati untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan melalui pelatihan teknologi Augmented Reality (AR), pengembangan media pembelajaran interaktif, dan penerapan metode pembelajaran inovatif. Pelatihan ini membekali pendidik dan peserta didik dengan keterampilan teknis dalam memanfaatkan AR untuk menciptakan pembelajaran yang menarik, kontekstual, dan aplikatif. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman dan keterampilan, baik dari pendidik maupun peserta didik, yang diharapkan memberikan dampak positif bagi proses pembelajaran di MAS Yati. Kegiatan ini didukung oleh Universitas Adzkia dan MAS Yati melalui penyediaan fasilitas dan bantuan lainnya.

Abstract

The lack of learning resources that facilitate students in the Secondary School Mathematics Capita Selecta course served as the background for this study. This research aimed to investigate the challenges faced by prospective mathematics teachers in the Secondary School Mathematics Capita Selecta course at Universitas Adzkia. Using a descriptive-qualitative approach, this study involved 18 students and course instructors as participants. Data were collected through surveys and structured interviews, then analyzed to identify key themes related to learning difficulties. The results showed that students experienced difficulties in understanding abstract mathematical concepts, connecting theory with practical applications, and utilizing available learning resources. This condition indicates the need to develop systematic, varied, and interactive learning materials to improve student comprehension and motivation. This study also revealed that the integration of technology in learning can help students understand complex topics and create a more engaging learning environment. Therefore, the development of well-organized and technology-integrated learning resources is crucial to improve the effectiveness of the course and help students overcome learning obstacles. Based on these findings, it was concluded that the development of innovative and technology-integrated learning resources plays an important role in improving the quality of learning in the Secondary School Mathematics Capita Selecta course. Further research is recommended to explore more advanced technological interventions and collaborative learning techniques to enhance instructional delivery and student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Because of Corona virus or Covid 19 has infected many people in various countries including Indonesia, The Ministry of Education and Culture of Indonesia made a policy of number 4 in 2020 for studying at home online. This is done to break the chain of spreading the Corona virus. Online learning poses its own challenges for many groups including lecturers and students. Various methods and online learning applications are carried out in order to achieve maximum learning objectives. Among these applications are Google classroom and Google meet video conference. The purpose of this study was to determine the perceptions of students in online learning. The subjects of this study were 9 students of the mathematics education study program who were taking elementary linear algebra courses. This research is qualitative research. Data were collected using a Likert scale questionnaire. Then the data were analyzed using 3 steps, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study were the most students thought that online learning using Google classrooms and Google meet video conversion was good in several aspects, namely ease of access to applications, the suitability of learning time, interactions between lecturers and students, independence and student activity, implementation of learning and clarity of learning materials.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic affects various aspects of life including education. This has an impact on learning activities that were previously carried out face-to-face to virtual, online or online learning. Online learning is a challenge for both lecturers and students. One of the challenges is the ability of lecturers and students to use technology to support online learning. The selection of methods and the use of various online learning media is carried out so that the learning objectives are maximally achieved. One of the media used to achieve these learning objectives is Prezi media. This media is used during presentations and group discussions. This study aims to determine students' perceptions of the use of Prezi media in the SD assessment course. The research subjects were 32 students of the PGSD study program. This research is a qualitative research. The data were collected using a Likert scale questionnaire. Furthermore, the data were analyzed using three steps, namely data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results of this study are that the benefits of Prezi media can be felt and can be used to support students in achieving learning objectives from the aspects of ease of understanding the material, the effectiveness of learning time, attractiveness and usefulness.

Abstract

Mathematical ability is a crucial aspect of modern life as it influences various fields such as economics, technology, and science. This study, spanning 2014-2023, examines articles on mathematical ability in leading journals. Using the bibliometric methods, it includes article searches in Scopus and Google Scholar via Publish or Perish (PoP), classification for bibliometric analysis, metadata checks, and bibliometric analysis using VOSviewer. The research shows a consistent trend in publications on mathematical ability, with minimal fluctuations and significant citation patterns. High-citation articles underscore the field’s importance in knowledge advancement. Key terms are ‘ability’, ‘mathematical ability’, and ‘student’, indicating research focus areas. However, limited author collaboration suggests potential for increased interdisciplinary synergy and knowledge sharing. These findings highlight opportunities for enhancing cross-disciplinary collaborations and research networks. They offer insights for policymakers, educators, and researchers in understanding trends, developing effective learning strategies, and encouraging further research in mathematical ability. In summary, this bibliometric study provides a comprehensive overview of the significance of mathematical ability in research, emphasizing the need for collaborative, innovative educational and research practices. It underscores the importance of further research to deepen understanding and application of mathematical ability, promoting an integrative approach in this essential field.
