From the research results, there are two sources of risk, namely production risk and price risk. The highest production risk is characterized by the presence of climate warming, disease attacks, weather changes, limited capital, poor feed quantity and quality, as well as pest attacks. While at-risk prices were marked by a decrease in egg prices and an increase in feed prices. Therefore, breeders can explain several strategies, namely by expanding distribution channels and establishing cooperation, developing cages adaptive, preventing and treat pests and diseases, as well as Improving the quality of human resources.

Abstract

The high population of goats in Carangwulung Village causes high amounts of animal waste to be produced on the goat farm, of course, this must be managed well so that it does not hurt the environment. The chairman of LMDH "Rimba Jaya Makmur" manages goat manure to be used as organic fertilizer which will later be commercialized and used to fertilize plants owned by LMDH. The main aim of this research is to determine the added value of goat manure which produces organic goat manure fertilizer. The location for this research was deliberately chosen in Carangwulung Village, Wonosalam District, specifically in the LMDH "Rimba Jaya Makmur" for research because the head of the LMDH "Rimba Jaya Makmur" manages goat dung. The method used is the Hayami method. The results of this research are that in managing the production of goat manure fertilizer, it has an input of 2000 kg and gets an output of 1,999 kg, thus providing added value, namely Rp. 939/kg, where the added value is > 50%, so it is classified as high and the business is worth continuing.

Abstract

Background: The Cassava supply chain starts from raw materials supplied by farmers and then supplied to factories. Given the vast potential of cassava, especially in the processing industry. Aim: Increasing efficiency in the cassava supply chain, industry players actively participate in increasing productivity and reducing problems from upstream to downstream. Setting: Indonesia. Method: Through field survey activities, focus group discussions (FGD), and reviewing various papers and research studies previously published in various journals, books, magazines, and others. Results: The cassava supply chain originates from farmers with several layers of intermediaries. All farmers' supply chains are traded in cassava flour, tapioca flour, or wet cassava, which is the buyer's responsibility starting from pulling, peeling, drying, and packing. Stakeholders generally support the cassava supply chain by ensuring material, information, and cash flow among all stakeholders to maximize profits and involve cassava growers, cassava mills, and distributors. Conclusion: The development of cassava processed food agro-industry is carried out on a home industry scale because it applies simple technology and is carried out by farmer groups and individuals. The cassava supply chain's development will increase added value and increase the income of farmers and the community.

Abstract

Kupang Mojokerto Eucalyptus Oil Agroindustry is a modern industry engaged in distilling eucalyptus leaves into eucalyptus oil products. This study aims to describe the level of operational risk measures that have the potential to occur in the Kupang Mojokerto Eucalyptus Oil Agroindustry. The method used in measuring the level of potential operational risk is Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) which serves to identify and analyze the occurrence of potential operational risks so that companies can carry out appropriate risk control based on the risk priority number (RPN) value with a high criticality category. The results showed that the types of operational risks in the high criticality category include not maximizing evaporation with RPN 360, receiving raw materials in the rainy season in wet and budding conditions with RPN 348, dependence on certain technologies with RPN 346, and weather conditions with high rainfall intensity with RPN 336. Measurement of the level of operational risk is carried out so that the company can control and anticipate the occurrence of risks in operational activities.

Abstract

Surabaya Mangrove Forest Park is not only a natural beauty attraction for visitors but also provides economic benefits for the surrounding community. This study aims to analyze the economic value of ecotourism in the park, understand the factors that influence the number of tourist visits, and determine the willingness of the community to pay for the existence of this park. Research data was collected from 60 park visitors using quota sampling techniques. Multiple linear regression analysis and the Contingent Valuation Method (CVM) were used to examine the factors influencing tourist visits and willingness to pay. The results of the study show that travel costs are a significant factor influencing the number of tourist visits. The economic value of ecotourism in Surabaya Mangrove Forest Park reaches Rp 10.828.609.000 /year (ITCM) and Rp 15.598.117.400 (CVM). The average community's willingness to pay for the existence of this park is Rp 5.050. The findings of this study confirm that Surabaya Mangrove Forest Park has significant ecotourism economic value.
