Abstract

The aims of this study are to analyze cosmopolitan and imitation levels of women farmers, and the influence of cosmopolitan and imitation levels of women farmers towards decision of farming management. This study was conducted in Limbung Village, Kubu Raya District, West Kalimantan. Respondent in this study consist of 26 womens who joint in women farmers group and 38 womens who do not joint in women farmers group. The method that used in this study are descriptive analyze and corelation analyze. The results showed that imitation level of women farmers group women farmers group is in average level. Beside that, the cosmopolitan level of women farmers group women farmers group is in high level. The result also showed that there is corelation between imitation and cosmopolitan levels has significant influence in decision of management farming

Abstract

Human resources are central in an institution or company. So that management activities run as desired, the company must have employees who are knowledgeable, qualified skills, and ability to manage their businesses as much as possible so that employee performance will increase. The level of success of a company can be judged based on performance. Employee performance increases if the provision of adequate compensation and good work discipline. Through this research is to analyzes the influence of compensation and discipline on employee performance at PT. Ichtiar Gusti Pudi, Landak Regency. The location of this research at Pagong Hamlet, Amboyo Inti Selatan Village, Ngabang District, Landak Regency. This study is a population study by giving a questionnaire to the entire population of 108 people consisting of maintenance employees in all parts of the company.  The data were obtained using a questionnaire with a Likert scale 1-5 scoring technique. The method of analyzing data using SEM is assisted by LISREL 8.80 software. The results show that compensation has an effect on employee performance. It appears that the t-value of the compensation variable is 3.05> 1.96. Work discipline has an effect on employee performance, with the t-value of the variable being 2.28> 1.96.

Abstract

Climate change has become a serious challenge that must be addressed by the agricultural sector in Indonesia. One of the agricultural commodities that is particularly vulnerable to climate change is food crops such as maize. Maize is a strategic crop and plays an important role in food security, especially as a source of food for humans and feed for livestock. The purpose of this study is to determine the level of knowledge of maize farmers regarding climate change and to identify the factors that influence their level of knowledge. This research employs a nominal scale and logit analysis using the accidental sampling method. The study was conducted in Rasau Jaya 1 Village, Kubu Raya Regency. The method used in this study is descriptive quantitative by analyzing the farmers who are aware and unaware of climate change, as well as the factors that influence their knowledge. The population in this study comprises all maize farmers in Rasau Jaya 1 Village, totaling 629 farmers. The respondents consisted of 42 maize farmers, selected using the Slovin formula. The results of the study show that the majority of farmers are aware of climate change, and the factors that influence farmers' knowledge are age, farming experience, and access to information. Based on these findings, it is recommended that the government or the agriculture office enhance extension services and provide farmers with the necessary access to information. Additionally, the village government is encouraged to facilitate hamlet-based training programs to reach a broader number of farmers.

Abstract

This study aims to identify marketing channels, find out the structure, behavior and performance of the rubber market in Manggala Village, Melawi Regency.The market structure approach uses market share (market share), concentration ratio, and market entry barriers. The approach to market behavior using qualitative descriptive analysis explains with regard to the pricing system, and cooperation between marketing agencies.while the market performance approach uses marketing margin analysis. The respondents to the study were 67 rubber farmers and 13 marketing agencies involved in distributing rubber from producers to factories. The results showed that the structure of the rubber market in Manggala Village, Melawi Regency, led to an oligopoly. Based on the results of a descriptive analysis of market behavior, results were obtained in the process of pricing at the farmer level that farmers are not as determinants of prices but rather prices are determined by collecting traders and wholesalers. At the level of farmers and marketing institutions, there are as many as 21 people who cooperate with collecting merchants who have grocery stores, namely in the form of basic food debt,and paid when farmers sell their rubber production At the level of marketing institutions with marketing agencies, the cooperation carried out is with the provision of business capital to buy rubber from farmers and in the form of transportation of rubber picks to the place of collecting traders. The performance of the rubber market has not been efficient because the margins and profits of marketing institutions are uneven and farmers are the most disadvantaged because farmers are only price takers.

Abstract

Analisis efisiensi pemasaran merupakan tujuan yang ingin dicapai dalam sebuah kegiatan pemasaran. Efisiensi dapat memperlancar arus barang dari produsen ke konsumen, karena ketika efisiensi pemasaran bisa tercapai maka persentase pembagian keuntungan masing-masing lembaga sudah berjalan dengan adil sehingga tidak ada salah satu pihak yang merasa dirugikan. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Kabupaten kayong Utara, Kalimantan Barat. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah lembaga-lembaga yang terlibat dalam pemasaran nanas, penarikan sampel dalam penelitian menggunakan metode sensus dimana seluruh populasi  di Desa Padu Banjar yang terlibat dijadikan responden. metode pengumpulan data dilakukan observasi secara langsung dan menggunakan teknik wawancara berdasarkan kuisioner yang telah disusun. Alat analisis yang digunakan adalah margin pemasaran, farmer’s share dan efisiensi pemasaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 3 saluran pemasaran nanas yaitu saluran 1 (petani-konsumen akhir), saluran 2 (petani-pedagang pengecer-konsumen akhir), saluran 3 (petani-pedagang pengumpul-pedagang pengecer-konsumen akhir). Berdasarkan hasil dari margin pemasaran, farmer’s share, dan efisiensi pemasaran maka saluran pemasaran yang paling efisien adalah pemasaran 1.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors that influence rubber production and to   analyze the efficiency of the price of rubber production. The variables examined in this study include the efficiency of the use of rubber production factors, the Cobb-Dounglas production function is unsed, Classic Assumption Test, Statistical Test and Allocative Efficiency. The test results on the production factors show that the variable area of land.Labor, fungicide had a significant effect on production. NPK fertilizer and length of farming had no significant effect on rubber production. The results of the allocative efficiency analysis showed that the use of land area, labor and fungicides was inefficient in rubber cultivation in Ambawang district, Kubu Raya Regency.

Abstract

Tempurung kelapa merupakan produk sampingan perkebunan dan mempunyai nilai komersial yang rendah, oleh karena itu tempurung kelapa sering ditinggalkan di kebun atau dibuang ke selokan dan saluran air. Akibatnya, praktik ini tidak hanya mengurangi daya tarik estetika tetapi juga berkontribusi terhadap pencemaran lingkungan. Pengolahan tempurung kelapa dapat menghasilkan beragam produk buatan tangan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis nilai tambah pengolahan limbah tempurung kelapa menjadi kerajinan tangan serta potensi keuntungannya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Hayami untuk menganalisis nilai tambah dan rumus  × 100 % untuk menghitung profitabilitas usaha. Kesimpulan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembuatan kerajinan miniatur menghasilkan nilai tambah sebesar Rp366.538 dan rasio nilai tambah terkait sebesar 94%. Seperti halnya kerajinan ini disulap menjadi asbak, dihasilkan nilai tambah sebesar Rp 157.500, dengan rasio nilai tambah sebesar 90%. Selain itu, rasio nilai tambah sebesar 90% menghasilkan tambahan nilai sebesar Rp 190.700 ketika kerajinan tersebut disulap menjadi peralatan dapur. Dan yang tak kalah pentingnya, mengubah kerajinan ini menjadi aksesoris menambah nilainya sebesar Rp 197.648, atau 87%. Analisis lebih lanjut menunjukkan profitabilitas yang diperoleh IKM Rumah Tempurung Kelapa yaitu sebesar 240%.
