Abstract

Conventional wheelchair is not unable to allow users make free move. Meanwhile, electronic wheelchair allows user to move without assistance but the hand-base disable people are unable to move the chair given they have problem in using joystick. The use voice as moving order is offered. Android Smartphone is chosen due to the availability of open source operating system with speech recognition of multi-language. Android Wheelchair can be used through voice order “straight”, “backward”, “right”, “left”. The voice order is synchronized with the list provided in the database. If the voice is matched, the android smartphone will send order to microcontroller through wireless communication and will move the wheelchair.The experiment showed that from six times order through voice, those six orders were recognized by smartphone Android and it move to the direction mentioned previously. The wheelchair has been equipped with ultrasonic sensor to recognize surrounding environment so to avoid any possibility of crash.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 caused a decreased Revenue of Local Taxes and Retributions in Indonesia. In 2022, there will be a simplification for the types of Local Taxes and Retributions from Law Number 28 of 2009 to Law Number 1 of 2022 because there are too many types of Local Taxes and Retributions, which made monitoring difficult. This study aimed to analyze and compare Hotel Tax, Restaurant Tax, Billboard Tax, and Cleaning Retribution before and after the pandemic in Regencies/Cities of Aceh Province. Data analysis of the study used quantitative descriptive and comparative to compare the increased or decreased revenues between two samples before and after the pandemic. The results of the Wilcoxon Signed-Ranks Test show that there is a significant difference in revenue from Hotel Tax and Billboard Tax before and after the pandemic. Revenue from Hotel Tax experienced a significant decrease, while Revenue from Billboard Tax experienced a significant increase. Meanwhile, there is no significant difference between from Revenue Restaurant Tax and Revenue from Cleaning Retribution before and after the Pandemic.

Abstract

Tax avoidance is the exploitation of weaknesses or gray areas in tax regulations by companies with the aim of reducing the amount of tax payable. This research was conducted to examine and analyze the influence of financial distress, sales growth, and company age on tax avoidance in basic and chemical industry companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) from 2017 to 2022. This study used secondary data and resulted in 126 samples for analysis. The results of this study indicate that, partially, the variables of financial distress and sales growth do not affect tax avoidance. However, the variable of company age has a positive effect on tax avoidance. Simultaneously, financial distress, sales growth, and company age have a positive effect on tax avoidance. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of transformational leadership and motivation on the performance of teachers in Yayasan Rabiatul Adawiyah Medan. Data collection techniques involved the distribution of questionnaires to a sample of 35 people. The data analysis model used was multiple linear regression. The coefficient of determination (r2) was obtained at 72.8%, indicating that the independent variables of transformational leadership and motivation can explain their effect on teacher performance by 72.8%, while the rest of the variables are not revealed. The results of the study, at a 95% confidence level and a 5% significance level, showed that leadership has a significant effect on teacher performance, and motivation has a significant effect on employee performance. Simultaneously, it is known that transformational leadership and motivation together have a significant effect on teacher performance. Transformational leadership carried out by the principal should also involve consideration of the opinions or suggestions of teachers when making decisions and giving certain appreciation when teachers achieve an accomplishment. The role of teachers as the main pillar in the world of education can be a source of pride if the work done is appreciated

Abstract

This study aims to determine and also analyze the Effect of Working Capital Turnover, Sales Growth and Company Size on Dividend Policy in Agricultural Sector Companies Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2017-2021 Period. The research approach used is a quantitative approach. The type of research used is descriptive quantitative research and the nature of this research is explanatory research. The analysis used in this study is multiple linear regression analysis, in which sales growth and company size have an effect on dividend policy, while the rest of working capital turnover has no effect on dividend policy. Simultaneously shows the results that working capital turnover, sales growth and company size have a significant effect on dividend policy

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis Pengaruh Financial Knowledge Dan Financial Attitude Terhadap Financial Satisfaction Pada Karyawan PT. Megamas Plaza Bangunan. Metodologi penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Jenis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ni adalah data kuantitatif, yaitu data yang diperoleh dalam bentuk angka atau bilangan. Sumber data berupa data primer dan data sekunder. Data primer diperoleh dari hasil penyebaran kuesioner kepada responden, data sekunder diperoleh dari data dan literatur yang berkenaan dengan permasalahan yang dibahas. Populasi penelitian yang akan digunakan dalam penelitian adalah seluruh karyawan yang bekerja pada perusahaan sebanyak 39 karyawan. Sehubungan dengan jumlah populasi yaitu: 39 karyawan, maka penentuan sampel menggunakan sampling jenuh dimana sampel jenuh merupakan cara pengambilan sampel dengan seluruh jumlah populasi menjadi sampelnya. Hasil analisis penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif yang signifikan secara parsial antara Financial Knowledge terhadap Financial Satisfaction pada PT. Megamas Plaza Bangunan, terdapat pengaruh positif yang signifikan secara parsial antara Financial Attitude terhadap Financial Satisfaction pada PT. Megamas Plaza Bangunan, terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dan positif antara variabel Financial Knowledge dan Financial Attitude secara simultan terhadap Financial Satisfaction pada PT. Megamas Plaza Bangunan.

Abstract

The development of Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) in students at Islamic boarding schools (pesantren) is crucial due to their numerous advantages, such as the capacity to tackle social, scientific, and practical problems with effectiveness. Whether or not Pondok Modern Tazakka successfully integrated the use of HOTS questions in exams is the goal of this study. Through the application of descriptive phenomenological research methods and data collection techniques, including the tabulation of 132 test sheets in 44 subjects tested on KMI Class 6 students and interviews with 62 teachers in 8 subjects, it was discovered that 8 subjects exhibited no HOTS questions at all (19%), 6 subjects exhibited a decreasing number of HOTS questions (14%), 19 subjects exhibited a sharp increase in HOTS questions (45%), and 9 subjects exhibited a constant number of HOTS questions. The study's findings also demonstrate that, as long as supervisors (senior teachers) take a more proactive approach to giving junior teachers comprehensive training and ensure that all exam questions in each subject are HOTS exam questions, it is possible to guarantee that all exam questions will contain HOTS.

Abstract

Thisistudy aims to determine the effect of entrepreneurial orientation, social media, and family environment on entrepreneurial intentions in STMB MULTI SMART students. Specifically, this study examines ithe iinfluence iof eachi variablei partially ior simultaneously ion ithe formation of entrepreneurial intentions. The approach used iis quantitative descriptive with correlational research methods. The population in this study were all STMB MULTI SMART students totaling 316 people. The sample determination was carried out using random sampling techniques using the Slovin formula, so that a sample of 76 students was obtained. Datai analysis techniques used include validity tests, reliability tests, classical assumption tests (normality, multicollinearity, heteroscedasticity, and linearity), and multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the study indicate that partially, entrepreneurial orientation, social media, and family environment have a positive and significant effect on entrepreneurial intentions. Simultaneously, the three variables also have a significant effect on students' entrepreneurial intentions. These findings indicate that internaliand external factors have an important role in encouraging students' intentions to become entrepreneurs

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi dengan tujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh pengawasan kerja, lingkungan kerja dan kerjasama tim terhadap kinerja karyawan pada PT Transnusa Jaya Mandiri. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif. Jumlah populasi dans ampel pada penelitan ini adalah sebanyak 48 karyawan kemudian teknik pengambilan sampling jenuh. Pengumpulan data terkait permasalahan yang diteliti oleh peneliti dilakukan dengan cara angket, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisa data menggunakan analisis regresi linear berganda. Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini bahwa terdapat pengaruh pengawasan kerja, lingkungan kerja dan kerjasama tim secara parsial dan simultan terhadap kinerja karyawan pada PT Transnusa Jaya Mandiri.

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mendukung transformasi digital pada Panti Asuhan Salam Damai Dihati melalui pengembangan sistem informasi peserta didik dan donasi. Selama ini, pencatatan data peserta didik dan pengelolaan donasi masih dilakukan secara manual sehingga sering menimbulkan keterlambatan informasi, duplikasi data, serta kesulitan dalam pelaporan. Dengan adanya digitalisasi sistem informasi, proses administrasi menjadi lebih efektif, transparan, dan akuntabel. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan meliputi analisis kebutuhan, perancangan sistem berbasis web, pelatihan pengguna, serta evaluasi penerapan sistem. Hasil implementasi menunjukkan bahwa sistem informasi yang dibangun mampu mempermudah pengelolaan data peserta didik, meningkatkan transparansi donasi, serta memberikan akses informasi yang lebih cepat bagi pengurus dan donatur. Sistem informasi yang dibangun memungkinkan pengurus melakukan pengelolaan data peserta didik secara terintegrasi, menyimpan riwayat perkembangan anak asuh, serta mencatat donasi dengan lebih transparan dan akuntabel. Selain itu, sistem juga dirancang agar mudah digunakan oleh pengurus yang memiliki keterbatasan dalam penguasaan teknologi. Program ini diharapkan dapat menjadi model penguatan kapasitas manajemen panti asuhan berbasis teknologi, sekaligus mendukung tercapainya visi membentuk generasi emas yang unggul dan berdaya saing
