Abstract

This study aims to analyze the characteristics of students with visual, auditory and kinesthetic learning styles in solving SPLDV and SPtLDV problems. The research method taken is a qualitative research method. Qualitative research is carried out by means of observation, interviews, or document review. The results of this study are the characteristics of thirty-six students obtained that students who have symbolic representation skills are twelve students (33.33%) with five students (13.89%) having a kinesthetic learning style, three students (8.33%) having an auditory learning style, and four students (11.11%) having a visual learning style. Then students who had verbal representation skills were ten students (27.78%) with four students (11.11%) having a kinesthetic learning style, five students (13.89%) having an auditory learning style, and one student (2.78%) having a visual learning style. The students who had visual representation skills were fourteen students (38.89%) with four students (11.11%) having a kinesthetic learning style, one student (2.78%) having an auditory learning style, and nine students (25%) having a visual learning style.

Abstract

Ketimpangan kepadatan penduduk di Indonesia menjadi salah satu masalah kependudukan yang perlu diperhatikan. Indonesia sebagai salah satu negara dengan jumlah penduduk terbanyak di dunia serta bentuk negara yang berupa kepulauan memiliki permasalahan ketimpangan kepadatan penduduk yang cukup kompleks. Hal ini dapat berdampak pada pembangunan wilayah yang tidak merata, sehingga secara tidak langsung dapat berimbas pada tingkat kualitas hidup masyarakat. Permasalahan ketimpangan kepadatan penduduk ini perlu diselesaikan, sehingga penelitian ini diperlukan untuk mengkaji lebih dalam dampak kepadatan penduduk berdasarkan provinsi terhadap kualitas hidup masyarakat di Indonesia. Penelitian ini mengukur seberapa besar pengaruh perbedaan kepadatan penduduk terhadap kualitas hidup masyarakat dari 34 provinsi di Indonesia pada tahun 2023. Hasilnya didapatkan bahwa mayoritas provinsi memiliki tingkat kepadatan penduduk kategori kurang padat. Akses sanitasi layak, umur harapan hidup, dan persentase penduduk dengan keluhan kesehatan di Indonesia menunjukkan keragaman yang berbeda, dengan Yogyakarta memiliki indikator terbaik untuk sanitasi dan UHH, sementara Papua dan Sulawesi Barat memiliki nilai terendah. Data memenuhi asumsi MANOVA. Hasil pengujian MANOVA menunjukkan bahwa perbedaan tingkat kepadatan penduduk berpengaruh terhadap umur harapan hidup saat lahir, dan persentase penduduk yang memiliki keluhan kesehatan. Berdasarkan evaluasi hasil pengelompokkan menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kepadatan penduduk yang sangat padat cenderung memberikan pengaruh paling tinggi terhadap umur harapan hidup saat lahir dan tingkat kepadatan penduduk yang cukup padat cenderung memberikan pengaruh paling tinggi terhadap persentase penduduk yang mempunyai keluhan kesehatan.

Abstract

Abstrak: Studi ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kesalahan konsep pecahan pada mahasiswa dengan menganalisa lebih dalam kesalahan yang mahasiswa lakukan saat mengerjakan beberapa soal cerita dalam bentuk pecahan yang diberikan. Penelitian  ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif, dengan mengambil subjek penelitian mahasiswa calon guru SD yang sedang menempuh mata kuliah materi matematika lanjut sebanyak 45 orang. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes. Tes yang digunakan merupakan tes uraian pemecahan masalah yang berjumlah lima soal dengan indikator soal yang berbeda-beda. Sedangkan instrumen wawancara digunakan untuk membantu peneliti mengetahui lebih dalam  cara berfikir mahasiswa saat mengerjakan tes. Setelah dilakukan analisa ditemukan bahwa kesalahan-kesalahan yang dilakukan mahasiswa dalam menyelesaikan soal bentuk cerita pada pecahan diantaranya: (1) mahasiswa tidak mampu menotasikan bilangan pecahan saat diberikan gambar, (2) tidak mengetahui makna pecahan, (3) tidak bisa menjumlahkan pecahan campuran dengan penyebut berbeda, (4) tidak bisa melakukan operasi pengurangan pecahan campuran, (5) tidak mampu melakukan pembagian bilangan asli dengan pecahan, dan (6) tidak bisa mengubah bentuk pecahan campuran ke pecahan biasa Kata Kunci: Analisis Kesalahan, Pecahan, Mahasiswa Calon Guru SD Abstract: This study discusses the concept of fractions to students through error analysis when working on multiple story problems in the form of fractions. This research is descriptive, by taking the research subject of prospective elementary school teacher students who are taking advanced mathematics courses as many as 45 people. The instruments used were tests. The test used is a problem-solving description test which consists of five questions with different question indicators. While the interview instrument is used to help researchers find out more about the way students think when taking tests. After analyzing it was found that the mistakes made by students in solving questions in the form of stories in fractions of them : (1) students are not able to denote fractions when given a picture, (2) don't know the meaning of fractions, (3) cannot add mixed shards with different denominators, (4) cannot do mixed fraction reduction operations, (5) unable to do the division of natural numbers with fractions, and (6) cannot change the form of mixed fractions to ordinary fractions. Keywords: Error Analysis, Fraction, Students of Prospective Teacher of Elementary

Abstract

Developing educational games using Figma can help educators create engaging and interactive learning media. This also applies at the vocational school level to improve learning outcomes, especially in mathematics, which students rarely favor because it is considered a complex subject. The main problem faced by vocational students related to employability still needs to be considered higher, which is caused by the lack of availability of interactive media to hone the skills desired by the work industry, including soft skills such as logical thinking and technical functions such as computational thinking. This research aims to create an educational game based on mathematical computational skills in vocational students through a Research and Development (RD) approach by applying 4 of the five stages of the ADDIE Method, namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. From the four stages of the ADDIE Model, an Educational Game design using Figma entitled "Train to Mathematics" has been produced by paying attention to important aspects such as material relevance, selection of designs used, user involvement, interactivity, adaptability, and skill enhancement, in designing the concept of educational games. The research results show the feasibility level through the material validation test with a percentage of 70%, and the media validation test obtained a percentage of 80%. The results of the validation test show that the development of educational games using Figma is feasible as learning media.

Abstract

Cervical cancer is a malignancy resulting from the uncontrolled development of cells in the cervix, making it the second most prevalent form of cancer in Indonesia. Currently, cancer treatments comprise surgical intervention, chemotherapy, and radiotherapy, or in conjunction, depending on the stage of the disease. This study aims to identify the stage and histopathological type of cervical cancer in cervical cancer patients with chemoradiation as well as urea levels and creatinine levels before patients underwent chemoradiation at Abdoel Wahab Sjahranie Regional Public Hospital Samarinda between 2021 and 2022. A cross-sectional study design was employed, encompassing 116 medical record data. Overall, the majority of cervical cancer patients who receive chemoradiation were in the histophatological type of squamous cell carcinoma (75%), predominantly at Stage II (64,3%), have anemia in their hemoglobin  levels (57,8%), and normal levels of urea and creatinine were (75%) and (91,4%) respectively. Keywords:          cervical cancer, chemoradiation, histopathological type, stage, creatinine   Abstrak Kanker serviks merupakan keganasan yang disebabkan oleh pertumbuhan sel yang tidak terkendali pada leher rahim, menduduki urutan kedua kanker terbanyak di Indonesia. Pengobatan kanker meliputi terapi pembedahan, kemoterapi, dan radioterapi, atau kombinasi sesuai dengan stadium. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui stadium dan tipe histopatologi kanker serviks pada pasien kanker serviks dengan kemoradiasi serta kadar ureum dan kadar kreatinin sebelum pasien menjalani kemoradiasi di RSUD Abdoel Wahab Sjahranie Samarinda periode 2021-2022. Desain penelitian cross-sectional menggunakan 116 data rekam medis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pasien kanker serviks terbanyak pada kelompok tipe histopatologi karsinoma sel skuamosa (75%), stadium pasien kanker serviks terbanyak adalah stadium II (64,3%), dan kadar hemoglobin terbanyak pada kelompok anemia (57,8%), serta kadar ureum dan kreatinin masing-masing pada kelompok normal sebesar (75%) dan (91,4%). Abstract

Reading ability is a fundamental skill that plays a crucial role in supportingthe teaching and learning process. However, reading interest amongelementary school students—particularly at SDN Pangrango—remainssuboptimal. This study aims to analyze the reading interest of Grade IIIstudents at SDN Pangrango by utilizing picture storybooks as a medium. Thestudy employed a descriptive methodology with a qualitative approach. Theresearch participants consisted of 20 third-grade students. Data werecollected through direct observation and interviews, using instruments suchas questionnaires, interviews, and activity documentation. The analysisprocess included data reduction, information presentation, and drawingconclusions. The research findings indicate that the reading interest of GradeIII students is relatively good. This is evident from several indicators:students' enjoyment when reading picture storybooks, their interest in thestory content and illustrations, enthusiasm in using picture storybooks duringlessons, as well as their ability to comprehend and recall story content.Nevertheless, the habit of reading during free time still requiresimprovement.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi telah membawa perubahan signifikan dalam cara umat Islam melaksanakan kegiatan dakwah. Musholla sebagai pusat ibadah dan pembinaan masyarakat perlu beradaptasi dengan dinamika digital agar tetap relevan dan mampu menjangkau jamaah lebih luas. Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mengoptimalkan komunikasi dakwah di Musholla Nur Attaqwa melalui pemanfaatan media digital seperti media sosial, aplikasi pesan instan, dan konten multimedia. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan partisipatif, meliputi observasi kebutuhan, pelatihan teknis, pendampingan produksi konten, serta evaluasi implementasi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman pengurus takmir dan jamaah dalam mengelola media digital, terbentuknya akun resmi musholla di media sosial, serta meningkatnya partisipasi jamaah dalam kegiatan keagamaan. Penggunaan media digital terbukti mampu menjadi instrumen efektif untuk memperluas jangkauan dakwah, meningkatkan literasi keagamaan, serta memperkuat ikatan sosial jamaah.

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas mengenai hasil penelitian yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui persepsi mahasiswa pendidikan matematika terhadap pelaksanaan perkuliahan online menggunakan aplikasi Edmodo. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Penelitian deskriptif studi kasus ini melibatkan 80 subjek penelitian yang merupakan mahasiswa Pendidikan Matematika Tingkat 3 pada salah satu Perguruan Tinggi swasta di Cirebon Tahun Akademik 2015/2016. Hasil penelitian ini diperoleh melalui lembar angket, wawancara, dan observasi. Analisis data berfokus pada Seleksi, Interpretasi dan Reaksi mahasiswa. Hasil angket menunjukkan terdapat 85% mahasiswa cenderung pada pernyataan positif sedangkan yang cenderung pada pernyataan negatif hanya 25%. Hasil triangulasi data dari penyebaran angket, wawancara dan observasi dapat diketahui bahwa rata-rata dari mahasiswa menyukai perkuliahan online dan mahasiswa sudah mengetahui dan bisa menggunakan aplikasi yang mendukung perkuliahan online sepertiEdmodo. Menurut mahasiswa, perkuliahan online sangat nyaman dan efektif ketika mahasiswa mendapatkan jaringan internet yang baik. Akan tetapi, mahasiswa merasa perlu mendapat perkuliahan konvensional (tatap muka) untuk meyakinkan pemahaman mereka. This article discusses the results of research that aims to determine the perception of mathematics education students to the implementation of online lectures using the Edmodo application. This research uses a qualitative approach. This descriptive case study research involves 80 research subjects who are students of Mathematics Education Level 3 at one private university in Cirebon Academic Year 2015/2016. The results of this study were obtained through questionnaires, interviews, and observations. Data analysis focuses on Student Selection, Interpretation, and Reaction. The questionnaire results show that 85% of students tend to use positive statements, while those tend to negative statements only 25%. Triangulation of data from questionnaires, interviews, and observations can be seen that the average of the students liked the lectures online and students already know and can use applications that support online lectures such as Edmodo. According to students, online lectures are very convenient and effective when students get a good internet network. However, students feel the need to get a conventional lecture (face-to-face) to convince their understanding.

Abstract

Mathematics is a subject that has its challenges. This challenge is related to the negative perception of mathematics learning, which is considered complex and saturated. Quizizz is one of the defense media that is considered exciting and fun. This study aims to determine the perception of Madrasah Aliyah (MA) students towards mathematics learning using the Quizizz application. The research method used in this study is quantitative descriptive using a questionnaire consisting of 30 statements. The respondents to this study are 30 MA Al Zaytun Indramayu students who have used Quizizz in mathematics learning in the even semester of the 2023-2024 Academic Year. The study results show that the use of Quizizz in mathematics learning, in general, can be positively received by students. Students feel more motivated to learn, engage, and understand the material better when using the Quizizz app. However, there are several challenges, such as difficulties in understanding the material and time pressure in working on problems some students feel. Overall, Quizizz is considered an effective tool for improving students' learning outcomes and interest in math, with the note that its implementation should be tailored to the needs of students.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the optimization of students' learning interest by using TaRL (Teaching At The Right Level) learning which is viewed from the learning interest of students in class X. The research method used in this research is quantitative descriptive. Data on students' learning interest was measured using a questionnaire and data on the results of mathematical communication skills through written tests, both of which were analyzed quantitatively. The results showed that the average percentage of interest in learning increased by 23% from 49% (less) in cycle I to 72% (sufficient) in cycle II. In the aspect of students' mathematical communication skills, it is demonstrated by an increase in the percentage of completeness by 33% in cycle I to 82% in cycle II. The average student score increased by 48% from Cycle I to Cycle II.
