Abstract

Arab countries have a wide varity of dialects, which are varieties of Arabic that arise from the different ways of speaking of Arab Communities in Different regions that have different places of residence and socio-cultural needs. Arabic dialects have unique characteristics in each country, affecting daily communication and the culture of the local community. This research aims to identify Arabic dialect variations (Lahjah Arabiyah) descriptively. This research is ad descriptive qualitative based on literature study. Researchers collected data related to the variety of Arabic dialects through documentation, namely by reviewing texts from various printed books and scientific journal articles.

Abstract

The goals of this research were to learn about the many tactics used by teachers to develop Arabic speaking skills in Pondok Modern Darussalam Gontor, and explain the various Arabic environments that help students improve their Arabic speaking skills at Pondok Modern Darussalam Gontor. This is a qualitative study conducted using a case study approach. The process of gathering information through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data Analysis Techniques comprise four steps: 1) collecting data, 2) integrating data, 3) condensing data distribution, and 4) drawing conclusions from data. The findings of this study indicate that: (1) Pondok Modern Darussalam Gontor's technique for increasing Arabic speaking skills is divided into classroom and out-of-classroom learning. Classroom learning methods include direct strategy, dialogue strategy, discussion strategy, and question and answer strategy. Outside of the classroom, there are two types of language justification strategies: direct and shared. (2) The Arabic Language Environment, which includes the development of students' confidence in speaking Arabic, as well as Discussion activities such as Vocabulary Division and Repetition, Arabic Speech, and Punishment for Violating the Official Language, contribute significantly to students' Arabic speaking skills. 3) Develop several techniques to increase pupils' speaking skills in Modern Darussalam gontor.

Abstract

One of the points in the branding strategy is promotion, which is identical to the language media used, including halal tourism branding. Become the main sector in promoting halal tourism. This research aims to describe halal tourism branding in Aceh province and see the urgency of Arabic in promoting halal tourism in Aceh province. The research method used is field research with qualitative, the data collection technique used is interviews with several informants, in this connection the head of the Banda Aceh and Aceh Besar Tourism Office, travel agents, and the community in the area that is the locus study. The research results show that first there is still a gap between the concept of halal tourism and the reality of its implementation the rules for implementation have not yet reached the wider community. Therefore, the local community does not understand halal tourism, the location of halal tourist attractions, the benefits of halal tourism for the local community, and the applicable rules regarding halal tourism in Aceh. Second, in branding halal tourism in Aceh province, it is necessary to develop a smartphone application that focuses on the use of Arabic as a promotional medium as well as a communication medium, especially now that the global market has entered the industrial revolution 5.0, where technological development is a necessity.

Abstract

Calligraphy at Pondok Modern Darussalam Gontor 7 Kalianda is a mandatory and extracurricular subject that teaches writing Arabic letters according to calligraphy (khat) rules. The lesson aims to train students from an early age to write correctly and adequately, preventing errors in reading and understanding texts. This extracurricular activity is also expected to improve students' writing skills through the Hamidi method in pesantren education. CalligraphyCalligraphy is an art form that holds high aesthetic and spiritual value in Islamic culture and can be an effective tool in Arabic language education. The research methodology used in this study includes: 1) The type of research is qualitative research, 2) The subjects of this study are calligraphy teachers and students of Darussalam Gontor 7 Kalianda, 3) Data collection using observation, interview, and documentation techniques, 4) Analytical techniques using qualitative descriptive analysis techniques. The results show that the structured and continuous implementation of the calligraphy learning model significantly enhances students' writing skills regarding the beauty of the writing and the accuracy of language usage. This model also positively impacts students' motivation and interest in learning. Therefore, the calligraphy learning model is recommended to be integrated into the Arabic language curriculum to improve maharah kitabah competencies. Abstract

In the era of globalization, mastering Arabic has become increasingly important as an international language used in many religious, academic, and professional contexts. Therefore, innovation in Arabic teaching methods is necessary to improve students' learning outcomes and motivate them to learn the language more effectively. This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of second-grade students at KMI Pondok Modern Al-Barokah Nganjuk in Muthola'ah lessons. By utilizing the Mysterious Card Box (KoKaMi) as a learning medium, this study focuses on implementing interactive and enjoyable teaching methods for the students. This research follows Kurt Lewin's Classroom Action Method, which consists of four stages: planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. The study was conducted in two cycles to determine the effectiveness of the KoKaMi learning medium and the students' learning outcomes. The subjects of this research are the second-grade students at KMI Pondok Modern Al-Barokah Nganjuk, totaling 16 students. The results of this study showed that the KoKaMi learning medium can be used by teachers to deliver Muthola'ah lessons while involving the students significantly. In the first cycle, 5 students passed with a percentage of 31.35%. In the second cycle, the number of students who passed increased to 11 students with a percentage of 93.75%. Based on the actions carried out over two cycles, it can be concluded that the KoKaMi learning medium is effective in delivering Muthola'ah lessons Class 2 students at KMI Pondok Modern Al-Barokah Nganjuk. Finally, the researcher hopes that in the future, this research can be used and be effective in research, especially research related to the Arabic language.

Abstract

In the era of globalization, mastering Arabic has become increasingly important as an international language used  in  many  religious,  academic,  and  professional  contexts. The background of this study centers around the growing importance of mastering Arabic in the era of globalization. There for, this study aims to enhance students' Arabic language skills at exploring the effectiveness of the mimicry and memorizing method in teaching of tamrin lughoh at the Al Iman boarding school. The problem is the low ability of students in speaking Arabic and lack of interest and motivation during the learning process in the classroom. The method used quantitative quasi-experimental method with pre-test and post-test design on two groups: experimental group and control group. The results showed a significant improvement in learning tamrin lughoh and improving students' language skills after the application of the Mim-Mem method. The mean score of the experimental group increased from 21.45 to 27.35, while the control group only increased from 21.25 to 26.45. This shows that the Mim-Mem method is effective in learning tamrin lughoh and improving students' language skills. Researchers suggest that future research places more emphasis on implementation and focuses on increasing the achievement of the values and ultimate goals of good Arabic language learning.

Abstract

النسبة هي إلحاق اسم بآخر بواسطة ياء مشددة في آخره. تشير قاعدة النسبة في علم الصرف إلى القواعد التي تنظم العلاقة بين العناصر في الجمل العربية. إن العرب إذا نسب إلى شيء زادوا في آخر الاسم ياء للنسب، والحرف الذي تليه ياء النسب وتقع بعده يجب كسره لمناسبة الياء. وتستعمل قاعدة النسبة لعدة دلالات، وهي الدلالة على الدين، والدلالة على الموطن، والدلالة على الجنس، والدلالة على الحرفة، والدلالة على الصفة. ومسألة هذا البحث فهي ما أحكام النسبة في أسماء علماء اللغة في كتاب معجم العلماء العرب الجزء الأول وما دلالة النسبة في أسماء علماء اللغة في كتاب معجم العلماء العرب الجزء الأول. في هذا البحث تحاول الباحثة على الإجابة عنه. و التعبير عن المشكلة أو الموضوع الذي يتم دراسته. إن نوعية هذا البحث هي الدراسة المكتبية. فهي الدراسة في عملية جمع البيانات والحصول عليها من خلال قراءة الكتب المتوفرة والمتعلقة بالبحث. ستجري الباحثة بحثها تتعلق بالمكتبات، وهي تجمع البيانات بمساعدة مصادر مختلفة في بعض المكتبات أو مواد المكتبة ذات صلة. فنتيجة البحث التي حصلت الباحثة عليها مما يلي : أحكام النسبة في أسماء علماء اللغة في كتاب معجم العلماء العرب الجزء الأول : النسبة إلى الاسم بإلحاق ياء النسبة 21 اسما، والنسبة إلى المؤنث بالتاء 10 أسماء، والنسبة إلى المحذوف منه اسم واحد، والنسبة إلى الممدود اسما واحدا. ودلالة النسبة في أسماء علماء اللغة في كتاب معجم العلماء العربي الجزء الأول : الدلالة على الموطن 20 اسما، والدلالة على الجنس 10 أسماء، والدلالة على الحرفة 3 أسماء.

Abstract

The low Arabic language skills of students at MTs Al-Khairiyah Kelapian Banten are partly influenced by the use of questions that tend to measure Low Order Thinking Skills (LOTS). This research aims to determine the effect of using questions based on High Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) on the Arabic language learning outcomes of class VIII students at MTs Al-Khairiyah Kelapian Banten for the 2022 – 2023 academic year. This research uses a quantitative experimental method with a True Experimental Design research design with a Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design approach. The research sample consisted of 30 students who were divided into two classes, namely the experimental class and the control class. Research data was taken using tests. Data analysis uses the difference test. The results of the research show that there is an influence of HOTS-based questions on students' Arabic learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the characteristics of comic-based teaching materials for Al-Muhadatsah instruction and to evaluate their effectiveness in enhancing Arabic speaking skills among participants in the language program at Pondok Modern Darussalam Gontor. The integration of visual elements, contextual vocabulary, and culturally relevant narratives provides an engaging and interactive learning experience that fosters students’ motivation and enthusiasm for Arabic conversation. This research adopts a Research and Development approach within an applied research framework. Data were collected through observation, interviews, tests, questionnaires, and documentation, and were analysed using the Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test with the assistance of SPSS 29. The findings reveal two main results. First, the developed teaching materials consist of eight titles based on learners’ daily activities, supported by contextually appropriate illustrations and vibrant colours that enhance their appeal. Second, the quantitative analysis confirms the effectiveness of these materials, as indicated by a significance value of 0.002, which is lower than the 0.05 threshold. These results indicate that comic-based teaching materials significantly improve the Arabic speaking skills of the program participants. This study highlights the importance of innovative instructional resources and encourages educators to implement creative strategies to enhance student engagement. Future research is recommended to explore the development of Al-Muhadatsah materials in the form of cartoon videos to further support language acquisition.

Abstract

كانت مادة تمرين اللغة من الأدوات التعليمية الأساسية التي تهدف إلى تحسين مهارة الكتابة لدى الطالبات، بما في ذلك كتابة العدد والمعدود. تعد قواعد العدد والمعدود من موضوع مهمّ الذي تحتاج الطالبات إلى فهمها وإتقانها، نظرًا لأهمّيتها في الاستخدامات اليومية والكتابية. ومع ذلك، تواجه العديد من الطالبات الصعوبات في تطبيق هذه القواعد بشكل صحيح أثناء الكتابة، مما يؤدي إلى وقوع الأخطاء المتكررة كما ورد من كتابة طالبات الصف الثاني بمعهد السلام العصري الإسلامي. فظهرت الحاجة إلى دراسة تحليلية تهدف إلى تحديد الأخطاء الواردة، وفهم أسبابه. فقامت الباحثة في رسالتها بالدراسة الكيفية على منهج الوصفي الكيفي لتحليل البيانات المجمعة من خلال الملاحظة، والمقابلات، وتحليل الوثائق المكتوبة. وأساليب تحليل البيانات تحتوي على تحديد البيانات، وتصنيف البيانات، وعرض البيانات وتحليلها. وحصلت الباحثة على نتائج مهمة من بحثها، فهي: 1. أشكال الأخطاء الواردة في كتابة العدد والمعدود على سبعة أشكال، الخطأ في تأنيث العدد وتذكيره، والخطأ في ضبط العلامة الإعرابية للعدد، والخطأ في ضبط العلامة الإعرابية للمعدود، والخطأ في تعريف العدد وتنكيره، والخطأ تعريف المعدود وتنكيره، والخطأ في مطابقة العدد مع المعدود، والخطأ في ترتيب العدد والمعدود. 2. أسباب وقوع الأخطاء هي التداخل اللغوي بين اللغتي الأم والعربية، والضعف في إتقان القاعدة، والجهل بقيود القاعدة، والتطبيق الناقص للقاعدة، وقلّة ممارسة القواعد اللغوية في الحياة اليومية. .
