Abstract

Determination of the category of a short story requires a slightly long process, in other way we must read a whole or at least a half of the contents of the short story to know the entire contents from the beginning to the end. These constraints require a solution to overcome by using Naïve Bayes algorithm (NB) to serve as the solution of the existing problems. Naïve Bayes, used as a model, resulted with accuracy of 78.59%. Evaluation was conducted by comparing the level of accuracy produced with other models of Support Vector Machine (SVM). The result of the research show that level of accuracy NB greater than Support Vector Machine (SVM) with accuracy level 64,36%. Based on the results of research conducted can be concluded that Naïve Bayes has a higher level of accuracy than the Support Vector Machine (SVM) for the short story category classification.Penentuan kategori sebuah cerita pendek memerlukan sebuah proses yang lama. Kita harus membaca secara keseluruhan atau, minimal, setengah dari isi dari cerpen tersebut. Untuk mengetahui seluruh isi konten dari suatu cerpen adalah dengan membaca isi cerpen, mulai dari awal sampai akhir. Kendala ini memerlukan sebuah solusi untuk mengatasinya. Pada penelitian ini diusulkan sebuah model dengan menggunakan algoritme Naïve bayes (NB) untuk dijadikan sebagai solusi dari permasalahan yang ada. Naïve Bayes digunakan sebagai model dengan tingkat akurasi sebesar 78,59%. Evaluasi dilakukan dengan membandingkan tingkat akurasi yang dihasilkan dengan model lain, yaitu Support Vector Machine (SVM). Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa tingkat akurasi NB lebih besar dibandingkan dengan SVM, yaitu dengan tingkat akurasi 64,36%. Oleh karena itu, didapatkan kesimpulan pada penelitian ini bahwa Naïve Bayes mempunyai tingkat akurasi lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan Support Vector Machine untuk klasifikasi kategori cerpen.

Abstract

Limitations of someone's ability to communicate in public places become an obstacle for everyone. A student, especially a campus ambassador is required to have good communication ability, therefore the information conveyed can be received by all parties. To overcome the problems faced by prospective campus ambassadors, in this article an activity is proposed in the form of public speaking training for Campus Ambassador nominees at the Cilacap State Polytechnic. The training is carried out using the lecture and role-play method. The stages of the activity are carried out through several stages, namely the stages of planning, implementing, and evaluating. The results of the training have a significant impact on the level perception of knowledge of the trainees with an average of 70% understanding of the material presented.

Abstract

An assessment of a place will provide an overview for other people whether the place is feasible to be visited or not. Assessment of coastal places will provide a separate assessment for potential visitors in considering visitation. This article proposes a model using the neural network (NN) and naïve Bayes (NB) methods to classify sentiment toward coastal assessments. The proposed NN and NB models are optimized using information gain (IG) and feature weights, namely particle swarm optimization (PSO) and genetic algorithm (GA) which are carried out to increase the level of classification accuracy. Based on the experimental results, the best level of accuracy for the classification of coastal assessments is 87.11% and is named the NB IG+PSO model. The best model obtained is a model that can be used as a decision support for potential beach visitors in deciding to visit the place.

Abstract

This study discusses the comparison of the Dempster-Shafer method and Bayes' theorem in the process of early detection of inflammatory bowel disease. Inflammatory bowel disease, better known as intestinal inflammation, attacks the digestive tract in the form of irritation, chronic inflammation, and injuries to the digestive tract. Early signs of inflammatory bowel disease include excess abdominal pain, blood when passing stools, acute diarrhea, weight loss, and fatigue. The Dempster-Shafer method is a method that produces an accurate diagnosis of uncertainty caused by adding or reducing information about the symptoms of a disease. Meanwhile, Bayes' theorem explains the probability of an event based on the factors that may be related to the event. This study aims to measure the accuracy of disease detection using the Dempster-Shafer method compared to the probability of occurrence of the disease using Bayes' theorem. The results of calculating the level of accuracy show that the Bayes Theorem method is better at predicting inflammatory bowel disease with a probability of occurrence of disease in the tested data of 75.9%.

Abstract

Autism is a developmental disorder that attacks children mentally and causes difficulties in interacting with the social environment. Therapy that can be done to people with autism to deal with communication disorders is speech therapy. Application usage health or better known as mobile health is easy and fast to help users in accessing information about various health problems, one of which is child development or better known as an autism spectrum disorder (ASD) which was developed using augmented reality (AR) technology. The purpose of the study is to optimizing the marked-based tracking method to augmented reality technology for speech therapy tutorials for children with autism. The results obtained from this study are the SELPY application (Self Autism Therapy) mobile-based speech therapy for people with autism which is a product of the application of appropriate technology in the field of information technology, especially in the health sector. The marked-based tracking method has been successfully implemented in the development of speech therapy AR applications for children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). This is by the results of the tests that have been carried out, namely distance testing and angle testing. The most ideal distance to detect marker/image targets is 40cm to 50cm with a smartphone tilt angle of 200 to 300.

Abstract

Publikasi ilmiah dalam bentuk artikel ilmiah merupakan sebuah kewajiban bagi seorang peneliti dan tentunya jurnal yang dituju harus memiliki kredibilitas dan kualitas yag baik. Upaya peningkatan kualitas penerbit dalam mengelola sebuah jurnal ilmiah sesuai dengan standar menjadi tuntutan dan permasalahan yang dialami oleh penerbit khususnya penerbit Publikasi Indonesia Cirebon. Kegiatan PKM ini diusulkan dalam bentuk pendampingan sebagai upaya peningkatan pengetahuan dalam mengelola jurnal ilmiah sesuai dengan standar. Tahapan kegiatan dilakukan melalui tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan kegiatan menggunakan metode ceramah dan diskusi, serta tahapan terakhir adalah evaluasi kegiatan. Hasil kegiatan memberikan peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan para pengelola jurnal terutama untuk persiapan dalam standarisasi manajemen pengelolaan jurnal yang mengarah kepada akreditasi jurnal. Kegiatan pendampingan yang dilaksanakan sangat penting karena dapat memberikan sebuah peningkatan pengetahuan dalam pengelolaan jurnal sesuai dengan permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh mitra PKM.

Abstract

Background. Children with special needs (ABK) are children who are in several ways different from other children in general. Among the crew members are Special Children (ALB), which consists of children who are blind, deaf, mentally retarded, quadriplegic, mentally disabled and double disabled. Some of the main things that need to be considered in the learning process for ALB are teachers, learning methods, learning approaches, infrastructure and learning support media (teaching aids). Purpose. The purpose of this community service activity is to solve the problems faced by partners in the English learning process, namely when a disorder results in disruption in daily functioning, especially in learning, the student requires special services (children with special educational needs) and requires specific learning methods in addition to appropriate and interactive learning media. Method. The solution offered to overcome this problem is the optimization of teaching methods. The recommended approach in the English language assistance activities for the Cilacap State Polytechnic PkM Team is in the form of prompts and demonstrations. Meanwhile, teaching English can use total physical response (TPR) by maximizing lip reading technique in addition to maximizing the use of flash cards to attract students' interest and focus. Results. The results obtained from this community service activity are increasing the ability of children with special needs to say a few simple words in English. The growth and development of children with special needs increase after the community service activities are completed. This is shown from the evaluation results carried out by the service team by conducting a post-test on ABK. Conclusion. To get significant results, namely increasing the growth and development of ABK, especially in the pronunciation of words in English, it is better if this activity is carried out regularly in the future.

Abstract

Pelayanan Publik yang efektif dan efisien menjadi salah satu tolak ukur masyarakat dalam menilai kinerja penemrintah daerah secara kasat mata. Pelayanan publik seperti pembuatan surat dan pencarian data arsip sangat berpengaruh terhadap kualitas layanan pada Kantor Desa Banjarwaru. Proses pengarsipan surat dan administrasi lainnya di Desa Banjarwaru saat ini belum terdigitalisasi dan terdokumensi dengan baik. Hal tersebut sering membuat terjadinya kesalahan dalam penyimpanan data surat masuk dan membutuhkan ruang yang cukup luas untuk menyimpannya, selain itu juga seringnya terjadi kesalahan dalam penulisan nomor surat keluar karena pencarian nomor surat terakhir masih dicari manual pada buku besar. Guna untuk mewujudkan visi dan misi Desa Banjarwaru, maka sangat diperlukan Penerapan Sistem Informasi Kearsipan untuk pengembangan Desa Digital. Sistem informasi arsip persuratan mempunyai tujuan mengubah metode penyimpanan surat atau administrasi lainnya dengan proses pengarsapan secara digital sehingga mengurangi penggunaan kertas dan lebih efektif dan akurat.

Abstract

Tugas akhir di perguruan tinggi adalah syarat kelulusan untuk mendapatkan gelar sarjana atau ahli madya. Tingginya keinginan mahasiswa untuk segera lulus terkadang membuat mahasiswa melakukan tindakan plagiarisme. Plagiarisme adalah tindakan meniru dan mengutip bahkan menyalin atau mengakui hasil karya orang lain sebagai hasil karya dirinya sendiri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sistem yang mendeteksi kesamaan antar dokumen teks berbahasa Indonesia dengan membandingkan dua metode pembobotan teks. Algoritma Winnowing dan TF-IDF adalah metode pembobotan teks yang dikombinasikan dengan metode Cosine Similarity. Cosine Similarity merupakan algoritma yang berfungsi untuk mencari nilai kesamaan antar dokumen dari hasil pembobotan algoritma winnowing dan TF-IDF. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa algoritma Winnowing memiliki nilai kesamaan rata-rata 66%, lebih tinggi dibandingkan TF-IDF yang hanya memiliki rata-rata 57%. Performa algoritma diukur menggunakan akurasi dan RMSE. Nilai akurasi pada algoritma Winnowing adalah 90.47% dan algoritma TF-IDF 81.84%. Nilai RMSE pada algoritma Winnowing sebesar 5,44 dan TF-IDF sebesar 5,34.Kata kunci : Winnowing, TF-IDF, Cosine Similarity.The final project at a higher education institution is a graduation requirement to obtain a bachelor's or associate degree. The strong desire of students to graduate quickly sometimes leads them to commit plagiarism. Plagiarism is the act of imitating, quoting, or even copying or acknowledging someone else's work as their own. This research aims to develop a system that detects similarities between Indonesian text documents by comparing two text weighting methods. The Winnowing and TF-IDF algorithms are text weighting methods combined with the cosine similarity method. Cosine similarity is an algorithm used to find the similarity value between documents based on the weighting results of the Winnowing and TF-IDF algorithms. The results of the study showed that the Winnowing algorithm had an average similarity value of 66%, higher than TF-IDF which only had an average of 57%. The performance of the algorithm uses measurements and RMSE. The algorithm's performance was measured using accuracy and RMSE. The accuracy value of the winnowing algorithm is 90.47% and the TF-IDF algorithm is 81.84%. The RMSE value of the Winnowing algorithm is 5.44 and TF-IDF is 5.34.Keywords: Winnowing, TF-IDF, Cosine Similarity.

Abstract

Abstrak Setiap pelanggan pasti menginginkan sebuah pendukung keputusan dalam menentukan pilihan ketika akan mengunjungi sebuah tempat makan atau kuliner yang sesuai dengan keinginan salah satu contohnya yaitu di Kota Tegal. Sentiment analysis digunakan untuk memberikan sebuah solusi terkait dengan permasalahan tersebut, dengan menereapkan model algoritma Support Vector Machine (SVM). Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengoptimalisasi model yang dihasilkan dengan diterapkannya feature selection menggunakan algoritma Informatioan Gain (IG) dan Chi Square pada hasil model terbaik yang dihasilkan oleh SVM pada klasifikasi tingkat kepuasan pelanggan terhadap warung dan restoran kuliner di Kota Tegal sehingga terjadi peningkatan akurasi dari model yang dihasilkan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa tingkat akurasi terbaik dihasilkan oleh model SVM-IG dengan tingkat akurasi terbaik sebesar 72,45% mengalami peningkatan sekitar 3,08% yang awalnya 69.36%. Selisih rata-rata yang dihasilkan setelah dilakukannya optimasi SVM dengan feature selection adalah 2,51% kenaikan tingkat akurasinya. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian bahwa feature selection dengan menggunakan Information Gain (IG) (SVM-IG) memiliki tingkat akurasi lebih baik apabila dibandingkan SVM dan Chi Squared (SVM-CS) sehingga dengan demikian model yang diusulkan dapat meningkatkan tingkat akurasi yang dihasilkan oleh SVM menjadi lebih baik.Abstract The Customer needs to get a decision support in determining a choice when they’re visit a culinary restaurant accordance to their wishes especially at Tegal City. Sentiment analysis is used to provide a solution related to this problem by applying the Support Vector Machine (SVM) algorithm model. The purpose of this research is to optimize the generated model by applying feature selection using Informatioan Gain (IG) and Chi Square algorithm on the best model produced by SVM on the classification of customer satisfaction level based on culinary restaurants at Tegal City so that there is an increasing accuracy from the model. The results showed that the best accuracy level produced by the SVM-IG model with the best accuracy of 72.45% experienced an increase of about 3.08% which was initially 69.36%. The difference average produced after SVM optimization with feature selection is 2.51% increase in accuracy. Based on the results of the research, the feature selection using Information Gain (SVM-IG) has a better accuracy rate than SVM and Chi Squared (SVM-CS) so that the proposed model can improve the accuracy of SVM better.
