Abstract

Keadaan saat ini dengan masih kurangnya tingkat pengetahuan dan keterampilan dalam membuat sebuah artikel yang baik dengan memiliki sumber referensi yang baik serta struktur penulisan yang sesuai dengan kaidah ilmiah memberikan sebuah permasalahan yang cukup signifikan karena berkaitan dengan kualitas artikel itu sendiri bagi mahasiswa dan dosen. Solusi untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut adalah dengan upaya peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan mengenai referensi manager dan sitasi dengan menggunakan Mendeley melalui kegiatan workshop. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan dilakukan dengan beberapa tahapan yaitu tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi kegiatan workshop. Hasil kegiatan memberikan pengaruh terhadap pengetahuan yang dimiliki oleh peserta pelatihan yaitu adanya peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan meskipun harus dilakukan banyak latihan lanjutan. Kesimpulan dari kegiatan yang dilaksanakan adalah seluruh peserta kegiatan hampir keseluruhan pelatihan dapat menerima materi yang disampaikan dan menginginkan adanya pelatihan lanjutan dengan materi yang sama.

Abstract

Masih sulitnya dalam memahami lebih detail dan lanjut mengenai sebuah metode penelitian dalam riset bidang teknik komputer dan informatika serta pengambilan tema penelitian yang sesuai dengan serta sedang trend dan berpotensi saat ini menjadi permalahan yang cukup menjadi hamabatan bagi mahasiswa program studi Teknik Komputer Politeknik Harapan Bersama Kota Tegal untuk mempersiapkan riset tugas akhir sebagai salah satu syarat kelulusan. Solusi dari permasalahan ini adalah mengusulkan sebuah kegiatan dalam bentuk pelatihan dan kuliah umum yang membahas materi yang dianggap penting. Metode pelatihan menggunakan metode ceramah dan brainstorming, dimana proses tahapan kegiatan yang dilaksanakan adalah mulai dari tahapan perencanaan, tahapan assessment peserta kegiatan, pelaksanaan kegiatan, pendampingan dan tahapan evaluasi kegiatan. Hasil dari pelaksanaan kegiatan didapatkan bahwa solusi yang diusulkan telah mampu meningkatkan tingkat peahaman peserta kegiatan dimana hasilnya adalah 55% paham, 35% cukup paham dan 10% cukup paham.

Abstract

Limitations in knowledge in managing an online scientific journal following the standards and skill level possessed by journal managers, mainly operating the Open Journal System (OJS) application, are obstacles faced by several universities in the Cilacap Regency area. The solution proposed in this article is a training activity in the form of a workshop held for managers of higher education journals in the Cilacap area to increase knowledge and skills in managing journals using OJS. The stages of the activity are carried out through several stages, namely the planning stage, the implementation stage, the activity evaluation, and last stage is the mentoring stage. The results of the training provided a fairly good impact and affected the level of knowledge of the participants in managing OJS-based journals. The results of the assistance from the activities show an increase in interest for universities that do not yet have journals to want to make them, in addition to a rise in the status of journals that have been published to become accredited journals.

Abstract

Permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh para petani holtikutura di kabupaten cilacap saat ini cukup kompleks khususnya dalam hal pemasaran produk. Permasalahan tersebut diantaranya adalah metode pemasaran yang belum maksimal karena berbagai macam keterbatasan media promosi dan pengetahuan tentang cara-cara promosi sehingga hasil pertanian hanya dipasarkan di daerah Cilacap saja, serta belum optimalnya pemanfaatan teknologi dikarenakan sarana yang terbatas dan ruang gerak yang terbatas apalagi seperti kondisi sekarang yaitu pandemi covid-19. Pemasaran online yang dilakukan oleh Petani Holtikultura Cilacap (PHC) memerlukan sebuah sarana yang lebih luas cakupannya, seperti sebuah media marketplace yang khusus menjual produk hasil pertanian dari seluruh wilayah kabupaten Cilacap. Berdasarkan kesepakatan antara tim pelaksana dan mitra, maka solusi yang menjadi prioritas utama adalah masalah strategi media pemasaran, pemanfaatan marketplace untuk pemasaran hasil pertanian di seluruh wilayah kabupaten Cilacap. Kegiatan tersebut dikemas dalam suatu bentuk pelatihan-pelatihan, diantaranya pelatihan pengelolaan marketplace yang bertujuan agar hasil pertanian dapat dipasarkan ke luar daerah Cilacap.  Target luaran yang diharapkan adalah adanya peningkatan perekonomian, serta peningkatan pengetahuan anggota PHC terkait dengan sistem pemasaran dan branding yaitu digital marketing. Selain itu diharapkan adanya peningkatan kesejahteraan dan perekonomian bagi anggota PHC karena permintaan hasil pertanian yang meningkat.

Abstract

Distributed network attacks, also known as distributed denial of service (DDoS) are a major threat and problem for internet security. DDoS is an attack on a network aiming to disable server resources. These attacks increase every year with the current state of the COVID-19 pandemic. One of countermeasures to minimize the DDoS impact is the intrusion detection system (IDS) command. IDS techniques are currently still employing traditional methods so that they have many limitations compared to techniques and tools used by attackers because traditional IDS methods only use signature-based detection or anomaly-based detection models which cause many errors. Network data packet traffic has a complex nature, both in terms of sizes and sources. This research utilized the ability of artificial neural network (ANN) to detect normal attacks or DDoS. A classification technique with ANN method is a solution to these issues. Based on the shortcomings of the traditional IDS, this study aims to detect DDoS attacks using feeder machine learning-based feature engineering techniques to improve the IDS development. Using the UNSW-NB15 dataset with the ANN method, this study also aims to analyze and obtain training function combinations and the best hidden layer architectures of ANNs to solve the detection and classification problems of DDoS packets in computer networks. As a result, the training function combinations and hidden layer architectures of the ANN can provide a high level of DDoS recognition accuracy. Based on experiments conducted with three schemes and an ANN schema architecture technique with eight features as input, the highest accuracy was 98.22%. Feature selection plays an essential role in detection result accuracies and machine learning performances in classification problems.

Abstract

Background: Dental disease detection is essential for the diagnosis of dental diseases. Objective: This research compares the Mamdani fuzzy logic and Naïve Bayes in detecting dental diseases. Methods: The first is to process data on dental disease symptoms and dental support tissues based on complaints of toothache consulted with experts at a community health centre (puskesmas). The second is to apply the Mamdani fuzzy logic and the Naïve Bayes to the proposed expert system. The third is to provide recommended decisions about dental diseases based on the symptom data inputted into the expert system. Patient data were collected at the North Cilacap puskesmas between July and December 2021. Results: The Mamdani fuzzy logic converts uncertain values into definite values, and the Naïve  Bayes method classifies the type of dental disease by calculating the weight of patients’ answers. The methods were tested on 67 patients with dental disease complaints. The accuracy rate of the Mamdani fuzzy logic was 85.1%, and the Naïve Bayes method was 82.1%. Conclusion: The prediction accuracy was compared to the expert diagnoses to determine whether the Mamdani fuzzy logic method is better than the Naïve Bayes method.   Keywords: Dental Disease, Expert System, Mamdani Fuzzy Logic, Naïve Bayes, Prediction

Abstract

Early detection in providing recommendations for student counseling is very important, therefore you can assess the student's potential, beliefs, and attitude as early as possible. The problem that arises in this case is how to detect a student early so that he or she needs counseling assistance or not so that it can be identified early to minimize the risk of further psychological conditions. This article proposes a data mining model using a decision tree to classify counseling recommendations for students. In addition, to improve the resulting accuracy performance, a feature selection method is proposed using forward selection and genetic algorithms. The stages of the research were carried out by pre-processing the data, implementing algorithms, validating data, and optimizing the model. The experimental results show that the best level of accuracy using the decision tree model is 95.64%. It increases to 96.91% after optimization using the genetic algorithm.

Abstract

Publikasi ilmiah dalam bentuk artikel ilmiah merupakan sebuah kewajiban bagi seorang peneliti dan tentunya jurnal yang dituju harus memiliki kredibilitas dan kualitas yag baik. Upaya peningkatan kualitas penerbit dalam mengelola sebuah jurnal ilmiah sesuai dengan standar menjadi tuntutan dan permasalahan yang dialami oleh penerbit khususnya penerbit Publikasi Indonesia Cirebon. Kegiatan PKM ini diusulkan dalam bentuk pendampingan sebagai upaya peningkatan pengetahuan dalam mengelola jurnal ilmiah sesuai dengan standar. Tahapan kegiatan dilakukan melalui tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan kegiatan menggunakan metode ceramah dan diskusi, serta tahapan terakhir adalah evaluasi kegiatan. Hasil kegiatan memberikan peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan para pengelola jurnal terutama untuk persiapan dalam standarisasi manajemen pengelolaan jurnal yang mengarah kepada akreditasi jurnal. Kegiatan pendampingan yang dilaksanakan sangat penting karena dapat memberikan sebuah peningkatan pengetahuan dalam pengelolaan jurnal sesuai dengan permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh mitra PKM.

Abstract

Improving services as an effort to provide the convenience of tourist destinations, especially on the south coast of Java, is a demand placed on tourism managers, which in the long run will yield positive impacts. The assessment is conducted to determine whether the tourism destination give positive impressions to the tourists. The application of machine learning-based text mining technology, especially a sentiment review, is one of the solutions proposed to overcome this problem, therefore predictions of coastal tourism potential can be known beforehand. This research proposed a coastal sentiment review model using the library support vector machine (LibSVM) method. The process proposed a model optimization based on feature weights using the particle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithm as a model optimization to increase the accuracy level. Efforts to improve the accuracy of the proposed model are the main contribution of this research. The results of research and experiments on the proposed model produced the best model named LibSVM_IG+PSO using the information gain (IG). On the other hand, PSO-based LibSVM method generated an accuracy level of 88.97%. The model proposed in this research is expected to serve as a decision support for tourists, government, and tourism managers in assessing sentiment towards the coastal maritime tourism.

Abstract

The number of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia as of September 2021 reached 64.2 million by contributing a GDP of around 61.07 percent and being able to absorb 97% of the total existing workforce, and was able to collect 60.42% of the total investment in Indonesia. This indicates that MSMEs have great potential to be developed, besides that MSMEs also contribute gross domestic product (GDP) in Indonesia, open opportunities to empower family finances, open business opportunities and absorb labor which in turn can improve the economy in Indonesia. However, the last two, the whole world has experienced economic paralysis caused by the Covid-19 pandemic outbreak, as well as what happened in Indonesia. One of them has experienced a bad impact on MSMEs/ MSEs. The product of various chips "Tunggal Makmur" is a household industry that still survives today even though with Covid-19, production has decreased by up to 50% during the Covid-19 pandemic. For the conditions mentioned above, the Cilacap State Polytechnic Lecturer intends to carry out Community Service (PKM) at the location of various chips in Widarapayung Wetan village, Cilacap Regency. Community service aims to provide information and knowledge coaching to increase understanding of the important role of business in packaging various chips to attract buyers. The method used in this activity is by surveying methods and directly involving spaciousness to conduct coaching and conducting questions and answers with participants. What is expected by guiding to increase understanding of information and knowledge and socialization is to be able to increase sales by providing attractive packaging and labels. The output will be produced in the form of videos and journals.
