Abstract

Game "Robot Hero" adalah sebuah game berjenis platformers. Game ini dirancang dengan menggunakan Unity2D dan ditargetkan untuk platform mobile dan komputer. Game ini memiliki desain 2d game. Perancangan game ini menggunakan Unity sebagai engine dalam pembuatan game, Microsoft Visual Studio 2017 untuk pembuatan scripts, dan Adobe Photoshop untuk pembuatan desain sprite dalam game. Pemain harus menyelesaikan game secara berurutan. Pemain harus menyelesaikan world 1 sebelum bermain world 2 dan begitu juga untuk bermain world 3 harus menyelesaikan world 2 terlebih dahulu. Setiap world memiliki gameplay yang sama. Pemain hanya perlu menghindari rintangan, mengalahkan lawan, dan boss untuk menyelesaikan tiap world. Pemain dapat mengumpulkan koin untuk melakukan upgrade pada karakter utama yaitu Pigborg. Pengujian dilakukan dengan metode blackbox testing, alpha testing oleh dosen pembimbing, dan beta testing dengan melalui survei pada 30 responden. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa Robot Hero merupakan game yang dapat dimainkan oleh banyak orang. Hal ini dikarenakan Robot Hero ditargetkan pada multi-platform sehingga pemain dapat memilih untuk memainkan versi yang mana secara bebas.

Abstract

"Think or Run?" is a 3D game with the Horror genre on the Android platform. This game was designed by Unity as a game engine with the C# programming language. The game has 15 stages consisting of a word puzzle stage and a question and answer stage. The concept of this game is that players must complete each stage to continue to the next stage. The controls used in this game are gyroscope sensors. Testing was carried out by conducting the Blackbox, alpha, and beta testing through a questionnaire filled by 35 respondents. The results show that the game has high-difficulty and quite creepy with unique control.

Abstract

Interval is a 2D platformer game made using the Unity game engine. The game tells the story of a treasure hunter finding a ruin that no one else has ever explored. Interval has a game mechanic called auto jumping. Auto jumping makes the player can’t control the character jumping ability. The game controls the timing when the character jumps in a certain interval. The time interval is determined by the game. Game testing is done by using the blackbox method, alpha testing and beta testing. The test results show that the game has features that are rarely found in other games, moderate difficulty level, and replayability.

Abstract

Game “Guess The Alphabets!” is designed using Unity and C# Sharp for the game’s script. This game has 2 Modes, namely Monster Mode and Learn Monster Mode. Monster Mode is a Mode where players are asked to guess the letters that are on the body of a Monster. Learn Monster Mode is a Mode where players are asked to type the English words. The player must complete the first stage in Monster Mode then proceed to the easy stage in Learn Monster Mode. And so on until the last stage in Monster Mode and Learn Monster Mode. Monster Mode consists of 4 stages. Each stage in Monster Mode consists of 5 levels. Learn Monster Mode consists of 4 stages, namely easy, normal, hard, and extreme stages. Testing is done by this method blackbox testing, alpha testing, and beta testing through a survey of 31 respondents. Test results show that the game “Guess The Alphabet!” is an interesting and challenging game because the players keep trying until it's finish the game.

Abstract

Game “Defense Push” adalah game dengan genre Tower Defense. Game ini bertujuan untuk menghancurkan tower milik musuh dengan cara mendorong dan menghancurkan pasukan musuh hingga mencapai tower utama milik musuh dan dapat menghancurkannya.Pemain berperan sebagai raja yang dapat menurunkan pasukan untuk menghancurkan musuhnya. Selain itu, pemain akan menikmati game yang sederhana dan tidak sulit untuk dimainkan. Tantangan utama dari game ini adalah kesulitan untuk melewati pasukan musuh agar dapat menghancurkan tower utama milik musuh.Game ini dirancang dengan menggunakan game engine Unity dan bahasa pemrograman C# dan dapat dimainkan pada PC atau Laptop.Game yang dibuat telah berjalan dengan baik dan sesuai dengan rancangan yang sudah dibuat.

Abstract

This game was designed using Unity Game Engine and is targeted to Android smartphone. Aseprite is used to design the sprite in this game. There are 8 stages in this game. Each stage has a different level of difficulty. The aim of this game is to destroy the opponent's tower while protecting the player's tower from being destroyed by the opponent’s. The win condition is when the opponent's tower has destroyed. Testing is done by blackbox testing, alpha testing by the supervisor, and beta testing through a survey of 40 respondents. The test results show that “Myth of Java” is a game that is quite interesting. This is because “Myth of Java” has several stages with different levels of difficulties. It also has a background story that takes from the mystical beliefs that exist in Java Island.

Game “Magic Maze Escape” adalah game dengan genre action-adventure dengan animasi 2D. Game ini dirancang dengan menggunakan Game Engine Unity2D dengan C# sebagai bahasa pemograman dan Photoshop untuk pembuatan animasinya. Pemain harus menyelesaikan game sebelum waktu habis dan melawan semua monster untuk dapat keluar dari maze. Game “Magic Maze Escape” menggunakan kontrol accelerometer. Pengujian dilakukan dengan kuesioner yang telah diisi oleh 30 responden.

Abstract

This game was created using Unity game engine with C# as its programming language. The goal of this game is to complete all the stages with lowest time. This game got 3 characters: red ball, hardened ball and smollie ball. At each stage, player will face obstacles such as spike, spike ball, and hidden spike. Testing is done by blackbox testing, alpha testing by the supervisor, and beta testing by 38 respondents through a questionnaire. The test results show that game Bola can make players enjoy it and encourage them to play again.

Abstract

“Tribal Defenders” is a game with a hybrid of two genres: Action Role Playing Game and Tower Defense, posessing goal of entertaining players aged teens and above. Players are allowed to choose one of two characters provided as the main character. As of the usual tower defense games, players are given a task of defending an object using towers. However as a hybrid of action role playing game and tower defense, players are given abilities to enter the combat such as attacking and using skills with the selected character. Player also given access to character status customization as the character will level up and gain status points from each stage. The game was made with unity using C# as the programming language, as for the art and design was made with PaintTool Sai and Adobe Photoshop Cs6. Alpha testing of the game is done by the mentors, while the beta testing is done by allowing a number of users play the game and review it by filling questionnaire provided after. The result shows that the genre of “Tribal Defenfers” are somewhat new to users and majority of users find the “Tribal Defenders” are enjoyable.
