Abstract

Abstract This paper wants to analyze how Anies Baswedan conveyed his political communication on Twitter social media. In this contemporary era, one of the most dominant political communications is social media, where political communication plays an important role because it can have an impact on political participation, political socialization. In the political field the role of social media is very important because it contributes as openness and transparency, Anies Baswedan is one of the political actors who play social media Twitter to convey political communication while increasing its popularity. In accordance with its previous political promises of integrated transportation and ok oce program. Anies is not uncommon to convey and show the development of political promises that have been running on his Twitter social media. in disseminating information through social media Twitter has proven to be very effective because many users around the world. This study uses descriptive qualitative research methods and analyzes using the help of NVIVO12 Plus software applications. The results of this study revealed that Anies Baswedan's political communication on Twitter social media was very focused on public services in DKI Jakarta. Political communication from Anies Baswedan also received a lot of responses from his followers on his Twitter account. This can be seen from the number of retweets and mentions done to Anies Baswedan. Anies Baswedan was also quite active in conveying his political communication through Twitter social media such as notifying work programs, political branding, giving political talks that were light in nature and also related to public services in DKI Jakarta. Keywords : Political Communication, Anies Baswedan, Social Media, Twitter Abstrak Tulisan ini ingin menganalisis bagaimana Anies Baswedan dalam menyampaikan komunikasi politiknya di sosial media Twitter. Pada era kontemporer ini salah satu komunikasi politik yang paling dominan adalah media sosial, dimana komunikasi politik sangat memegang peranan penting karena bisa berdampak untuk partisipasi politik, sosialisasi politik. Dalam bidang politik peran media sosial media sangat penting karena berkontribusi sebagai keterbukaan dan transparansi, Anies Baswedan adalah salah satu aktor politik yang bermain sosial media Twitter untuk menyampaikan komunikasi politik sekaligus menaikan popularitasnya. Sesuai dengan janji politiknya terdahulu yaitu transportasi terintegrasi dan program oke oce. Anies tak jarang menyampaikan dan memperlihatkan perkembangan janji politiknya yang telah berjalan di sosial media Twitter miliknya. dalam penyebaran informasi melalui sosial media Twitter sudah terbukti sangat efektif karena banyak penggunanya diseluruh dunia. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dan melakukan analisis dengan menggunakan bantuan aplikasi perangkat lunak NVIVO12 Plus. Hasil dari ini penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa komunikasi politik Anies Baswedan di sosial media Twitter sangat befokus pada pelayanan publik di DKI Jakarta. Komunikasi politik dari Anies Baswedan juga mendapatkan banyak respon dari pengikutnya di akun Twitter hal ini dapat dilihat dari jumlah Retweet dan mentions yng dilakukan kepada Anies Baswedan. Anies Baswedan juga cukup aktif dalam menyampaikan komunikasi politiknya melalui sosial media Twitter seperti memberitahukan program kerja, Branding politik, memberikan perbincangan politik yang sifatnya ringan dan juga terkait dengan pelayanan publik di DKI Jakarta. Abstract

This study examines how digital media reshape democratic quality in Indonesia by transforming information flows, public opinion formation, civic participation, and government accountability within the digital public sphere. Rather than treating these dimensions separately, this research adopted the concept of democratic quality to capture the broader systemic impact of digital communication on contemporary democracy. This study combined bibliometric and qualitative approaches to provide both a macro-level mapping and an in-depth thematic interpretation. Bibliometric data were collected from the Scopus database covering the period 2020–2025, using PRISMA procedures, resulting in 56 core publications. VOSviewer was used to identify research clusters and intellectual trends, while NVivo 12 Plus supported qualitative thematic analysis. The findings indicate a dominant shift in global research from early concerns with digital participation and public engagement toward growing attention to algorithmic power, disinformation, polarisation, and platform governance. In the Indonesian context, digital media simultaneously expands democratic inclusion through increased participation and transparency, while also weakening deliberative quality due to misinformation, echo chambers, and low digital literacy. This study highlights that platform algorithms and information governance increasingly shape the trajectory of digital democracy. This research contributes to communication studies by offering an integrated framework for understanding how digital media restructure democratic quality in the evolving digital public sphere.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the modalities of Fifian Adeningsi Mus as a candidate in the 2020 Sula Islands regional election. Using qualitative methods and a case study approach, this study employed content analysis techniques on 174 news items from seven local media outlets that reported most intensively on Fifian’s participation in the Sula Islands regional election during the reporting period from August 28, 2020, to February 28, 2021. The results, based on NVivo 12 plus analysis, indicate that social modality is the most dominant modality narrated by local media in North Maluku, compared to economic, political, cultural, and symbolic modalities. This article contributes to explaining the election of women as regional heads (especially for regions that have never had female regional heads before), supported by the accumulation of previously built modalities. However, the main contribution to women’s election comes from dynastic politics. Therefore, the presence of women in strategic positions can be encouraged through a competitive selection process and a focus on the capacity and capabilities of candidates, so that the election of women as regional heads does not rely solely on the family name (political dynasty).

Abstract

AIDS caused by HIV is a health issue of global concern. In Indonesia, in the first quarter of 2017, the number of HIV cases was 10,376 and AIDS cases were 673. DIY is a tourism city and student city that has a high level of human movement so it is highly likely that behaviors that are at risk of contracting or transmitting HIV and AIDS. DIY has an attraction that makes many people with different socio-economic and demographic backgrounds come to this region. Many tourists from domestic and abroad are interested in the beauty of tourism in DIY. Therefore, collaborative governance among stakeholders is needed in the response to HIV and AIDS. There are eight indicators to see the success of collaborative governance according to DeSeve: Networked Structure, Commitment to a Common Purpose, Trust Among the Participants, Governance, Access to Authority, Distributive Accountability / Responsibility, Information Sharing, Access to Resources. The findings of this study are that cross-sectoral collaboration carried out does not yet have regulations as a guideline in carrying out such collaboration. So that cooperation is only at the stage of mutual involvement in the response to HIV and AIDS, not at the stage of official cooperation that has legality. Because the existence of basic rules is important in collaborative governance as the initial foundation and legitimacy for stakeholders who act. AIDS yang disebabkan oleh HIV adalah masalah kesehatan yang menjadi perhatian global. Di Indonesia, pada kuartal pertama 2017, jumlah kasus HIV mencapai 10.376 dan kasus AIDS sebanyak 673. Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta (DIY) adalah kota pariwisata dan kota pelajar yang memiliki tingkat pergerakan manusia yang tinggi sehingga sangat mungkin perilaku yang berisiko tertular atau menularkan HIV dan AIDS. DIY memiliki daya tarik yang membuat banyak orang dengan latar belakang sosial ekonomi dan demografi yang berbeda datang ke wilayah ini. Banyak wisatawan dari dalam dan luar negeri tertarik pada keindahan pariwisata di DIY. Oleh karena itu, tata kelola kolaboratif di antara para pemangku kepentingan diperlukan dalam menanggapi HIV dan AIDS. Ada delapan indikator untuk melihat keberhasilan tata kelola kolaboratif menurut DeSeve: Struktur Jaringan, Komitmen untuk Tujuan Bersama, Kepercayaan di antara Para Peserta, Tata Kelola, Akses ke Otoritas, Akuntabilitas / Tanggung Jawab Distributif, Berbagi Informasi, dan Akses ke Sumber Daya. Temuan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa kolaborasi lintas sektoral yang dilakukan belum memiliki peraturan sebagai pedoman dalam melakukan kolaborasi tersebut sehingga kerja sama hanya pada tahap keterlibatan timbal balik dalam penanggulangan HIV dan AIDS, bukan pada tahap kerja sama resmi yang memiliki legalitas. Bagaimanapun juga, keberadaan aturan dasar menjadi penting dalam tata kelola kolaboratif sebagai landasan awal dan legitimasi bagi para pemangku kepentingan yang bertindak.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe government’s limited resources in dealing with the Covid-19 pandemic require civil society organizations (CSOs). Since the first outbreak of Covid-19, Muhammadiyah has become one of the CSOs active in handling Covid-19 in Indonesia. Muhammadiyah’s experience and resources are a tremendous asset to sustain the country’s limitations. One of these assets is Muhammadiyah’s philanthropic and network strength. Therefore, this study aims to find and analyze the philanthropic movement and the Muhammadiyah network. This research uses qualitative research methods, with interview and documentation data collection techniques. Interviews were conducted with several sources from MCCC and Lazismu and previous studies. The study results indicate that the extent of the network and public trust in Muhammadiyah are potent modalities for obtaining and managing resources, especially assistance. In various forms, the help of Muhammadiyah members shows a strong sense of brotherhood during the pandemic across religious, ethnic, and economic class boundaries. Assistance from various domestic and foreign donor agencies shows the trust and confidence of Muhammadiyah to manage its trust. With it, we can reach and distribute it to the grassroots level. In addition to the resources that Muhammadiyah has, many philanthropic social movements carried out during the pandemic are supported by these resources. This proves that in limitations during the Covid-19 pandemic, Muhammadiyah, as a CSO, can fill the country’s restrictions through philanthropic movements in health, economy, religion, and education. Keywords: Civil society organization (CSO), Muhammadiyah, networking, philanthropy movement ABSTRAKKeterbatasan sumber daya pemerintah dalam menangani pandemi Covid-19 membutuhkan organisasi masyarakat sipil (ORMAS). Sejak pertama kali mewabahnya Covid-19, Muhammadiyah menjadi salah satu CSO yang aktif dalam penanganan Covid-19 di Indonesia. Pengalaman dan sumber daya Muhammadiyah adalah aset yang luar biasa untuk mempertahankan keterbatasan negara. Salah satu aset tersebut adalah kekuatan filantropi dan jaringan Muhammadiyah. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan dan menganalisis gerakan filantropi dan jaringan Muhammadiyah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data wawancara dan dokumentasi. Wawancara dilakukan dengan beberapa sumber dari MCCC dan Lazismu dan penelitian sebelumnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sejauh mana jaringan dan kepercayaan publik terhadap Muhammadiyah adalah modalitas yang kuat untuk memperoleh dan mengelola sumber daya, terutama bantuan. Dalam berbagai bentuk, bantuan anggota Muhammadiyah menunjukkan rasa persaudaraan yang kuat selama pandemi melintasi batas-batas agama, etnis, dan kelas ekonomi. Bantuan dari berbagai lembaga donor dalam dan luar negeri menunjukkan kepercayaan dan keyakinan Muhammadiyah untuk mengelolanya dengan amanah. Dengan itu, dapat menjangkau dan mendistribusikannya ke tingkat akar rumput. Selain sumber daya yang dimiliki Muhammadiyah, banyak gerakan sosial filantropis yang dilakukan selama pandemi didukung oleh sumber daya tersebut. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa dalam keterbatasan di masa pandemi Covid-19, Muhammadiyah sebagai CSO dapat mengisi keterbatasan negara melalui gerakan filantropi di bidang kesehatan, ekonomi, agama, dan pendidikan. Kata Kunci: Organisasi masyarakat sipil (OMS), Muhammadiyah, jejaring, gerakan filantropi
