Abstract

Happiness becomes a benchmark of how people assess their lives, not only in terms of economic but also social and cultural. This research analyzes how Balinese people perceive happiness in terms of social, economic, and artistic. Quantitative and qualitative approaches were combined in the study. Denpasar City was chosen as the research location considering that Denpasar City is the capital of Bali Province, which acts as the centre of government and economy but still has traditional cultural values that its people closely carry. Data collection using questionnaires was distributed to 100 respondents. Data was analyzed descriptively, and correlation analysis was used to see how much economic, social, and cultural influences on people's happiness in Denpasar City. Information from in-depth interviews was analyzed using word clouds to see how people perceive happiness. The results show that happiness is viewed in terms of economy, income, life, culture, and satisfaction. Both economic, cultural, and social are still variables that influence happiness. The interview results also show that compared to those with high incomes, people feel happier when they gather with family and the surrounding community while doing various religious activities closely related to Balinese culture.

Abstract

Organizational Citizenship Behavior is essential for companies because it encourages a collaborative and supportive work environment, improves teamwork, and improves employee morale by enabling employees to look beyond their formal job descriptions. This study aims to analyze OCB in employees with job satisfaction as a mediator of leadership and organizational climate. This exploratory study uses a quantitative descriptive method based on a pattern of relationships that describes the causal relationship between variables. The population in this study was all 53 employees. The sampling technique used was non-probability sampling with a saturated sampling technique. Data collection method with a questionnaire. Data collection instruments with questionnaire sheets. Data analysis techniques with inferential statistics. The study's results indicate that leadership, organizational climate, and job satisfaction affect OCB, and job satisfaction can mediate the influence of leadership and OCB. OCB leads to better productivity, improved customer service, and a positive organizational culture. This proactive behavior encourages organizational flexibility, reduces employee turnover and operating costs, and strengthens the company's reputation. Ultimately, OCB impacts the company's success and sustainability by creating a more engaged and motivated workforce.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of compensation, job satisfaction, and career development on employee retention at PT Artha Devata Utama. The population of this research is all employees of PT Artha Devata Property, totaling 51 people. The method used in determining the sample is the nonprobability sampling method. The sample in this research was all employees of PT Artha Devata Utama, totaling 51 people. Data collection in this research was carried out using interview and questionnaire methods. The analysis techniques used are the classical assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis and model feasibility tests consisting of the coefficient of determination test, multiple correlation, F test and t test. The research results show that compensation, job satisfaction, and career development have a positive and significant effect on employee retention at PT Artha Devata Utama. This means that the higher the compensation given, the higher the job satisfaction felt and the higher the career development felt by PT Artha Devata Utama employees, the more employee retention will increase.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of the work environment, work stress, work discipline and employee performance. This research was conducted at PT. Bumi Sentosa Denpasar using a sample of 45 employees. The sampling technique used was the census method. Data collection was carried out through observation, interviews and questionnaires. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis which is processed using SPSS version 26 software. Based on the results of the analysis, this research shows that the work environment has a positive and significant effect on employee performance at PT. Bumi Sentosa Denpasar. This means that the better the work environment, the better the employee performance at PT. Bumi Sentosa Denpasar. Work stress has a positive and significant effect on employee performance at PT. Bumi Sentosa Denpasar. This means that the better the work stress, the better the employee performance at PT. Bumi Sentosa Denpasar. Work discipline has a positive and significant effect on employee performance at PT. Bumi Sentosa Denpasar. This means that the better the work discipline, the better the employee performance at PT. Bumi Sentosa Denpasar.

Abstract

Human resources are a very important factor in determining the achievement of an organization. Companies need potential human resources, both leaders and employees, in the pattern of tasks and supervision, which determine the achievement of company goals. Good employee performance is a step to achieving organizational goals. So efforts need to be made to improve employee performance. This study aims to determine the influence of leadership style transformationa,l work environment, work motivation towards employee performance at LPD Desa Adat Sibanggede. This research was conducted at LPD Desa Adat Sibanggede. The sample in this study was 35 employees. The analysis techniques used are multiple linear regression analysis, validity test, reality test, classical assumption test, multiple correlation analysis, determination coefficient analysis, f test and t test through SPSS program version 25. Based on the results of the analysis, this study shows that the leadership style Transformational has a positive and significant effect on employee performance at LPD Desa Adat Sibanggede. The work environment has a positive and significant effect on employee performance at LPD Desa Adat Sibanggede. Work motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance at LPD Desa Adat Sibanggede.

Abstract

Laporan keuangan menjadi suatu bentuk laporan dari aktivitas akuntansi yang telah dilakukan oleh pemerintah daerah. Untuk menciptakan suatu bentuk laporan keuangan yang sesuai dengan standar responsibilitas dan keterbukaan pemerintah perlu untuk menyajikan laporan keuangan dalam bentuk formal. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis Pengaruh Sistem Pengendalian Internal, Kompetensi Sumber DayaManusia Terhadap Kualitas Laporan Keuangan Dengan Good Corporat Governance Sebagai Variabel Intervening pada Satuan Kerja Perangkat Daerah Provinsi Bali. Populasi dalam Penelitian ini dilakukan sebanyak 25 Satuan Kerja Perangkat Daerah (SKPD) dengan jumlah 4.795 pegawai. Penelitian inimenggunakan pendekatan purposive sampling, sampel penelitian ini sebanyak 98 responden. Metode analisisdata dalam penelitian ini dengan Analisis SEM (Structural Equation Modelling) dengan metode PLS (PartialLeast Square). Hasil penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa Sistem pengendalian internal dan kompetensi sumber daya manusia berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kualitas laporan keuangan serta penerapan goodcorporat governace dapat memediasi sistem pengendalian internal dan kompetensi sumber daya manusia terhadap kualitas laporan keuangan pada satuan kerja perangkat daerah Provinsi Bali

Abstract

Employee performance is the result of work or work performance (in terms of quality and quantity) of an individual in carrying out his duties and responsibilities in an organization. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of work ability, work facilities and motivation on employee performance at LPD Pedungan Village.This research was conducted at the LPD Pedungan Village, which is located on Pulau Belitung Street Number 36 Pedungan – South Denpasar. The object of this research is work ability, work facilities, motivation and employee performance at LPD Pedungan Village. The population in this study were all 35 employees of the LPD Pedungan Village, with the census method used as a sampling method so that all populations were used as samples. The analysis technique used is Multiple Linear Regression Analysis.The results in this study indicate that all independent variables which include work ability, work facilities and motivation have a positive and significant impact on employee performance at LPD Pedungan Village. The results of this analysis can be interpreted that if work ability, work facilities and motivation are improved, it will be followed by an increase in employee performance at LPD Pedungan Village.

Abstract

As a provincial capital that depends on tourism, the development of Denpasar City’s SMEs, especially in the tourism support sector, is growing rapidly. Coupled with technological advances, the development of SMEs must be able to adapt, one of which is by implementing e-commerce. This research aims to 1) explore the e-commerce needs of SMEs in Denpasar City and 2) analyze the factors that influence the use of e-commerce among SMEs in Denpasar City. The research was conducted on SMEs in Denpasar City with 140 respondents. A mixed-method approach was used to answer the research objectives. The research results show that e-commerce is a marketing medium for Denpasar City SMEs, primarily through Shopee and TikTok. Analysis using Atlas.ti indicates that human resources are still the main obstacle to implementing e-commerce in Denpasar City. Related to the factors that influence the decision to implement e-commerce, business duration, income, knowledge, technology, and product type are variables that significantly influence the implementation of e-commerce in Denpasar City. These results can be a reference regarding increasing SMEs’ capacity, especially regarding human resources and capital. Training, mentoring, and access to capital can raise SMEs’ awareness of the importance of technology in promoting and selling goods and services to increase income, which will lead to empowerment and prosperity.

Abstract

Happiness is now one of the indicators of successful development. Every country measures the happiness index of its people and competes to be the country with the happiest population. This research tries to map out happiness-related research trends in countries around the world, seeing how the results of these studies are published and making them the basis for the preparation of research related to happiness in Indonesian society. This research is a literature study with a bibliometric approach. The analysis was guided by 203 Scopus publications with the keywords “happiness,” “gender,” and “culture,” which were then narrowed down with the provisions of articles on economic subjects published between 2014-2024 and open access so that 75 articles were obtained which were then selected 5 (five) articles with the most citations. The results show that the increase in publications for the keywords “happiness,” “gender,” and “culture” continues to increase, and most publications come from the US and UK. On average, research related to happiness is more often published in psychology journals, although the content of the articles relates happiness to economic, demographic, and cultural variables.

Abstract

This study aims to test and analyze the influence of leadership, compensation, organizational culture on employee performance. This research was conducted at the Klungkung Regency National Land Agency with a research sample of 89 respondents who were taken using saturated sampling techniques. All data obtained from the distribution of questionnaires is feasible to use, then analyzed using multiple linear regression, hypothesis testing (t test and f test). The results showed that (1) Leadership has a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance at the Klungkung Regency National Land Agency Office, so that the better the Leadership, the more employee performance will increase at the Klungkung Regency National Land Agency Office (2) Compensation has a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance at the Klungkung Regency National Land Agency Office so that the more compensation increases, the more employee performance will increase at the Klungkung Regency National Land Agency Office (3) Organizational Culture has a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance at the Klungkung Regency National Land Agency Office, so that the better the Organizational Culture, the more employee performance will increase at the Klungkung Regency National Land Agency Office.
