Abstract

Water is an element that plays an important role and for the lives of all beings on earth. Therefore living things have the right to get water for survival. Humans as a water user community, argue that this existence naturally, is available in sufficient quantities to meet their daily needs. This study aims to determine the public perception of river water quality in the Metro Watershed Merjosari Subdistrict, Lowokwaru District, Malang City. This research was conducted in April-June 2019 using survey and observation methods. The population in this study was the community of Merjosari Village. The samples taken are people who are in the river environment. The technique used in sampling is purposive sampling. The number of respondents taken in this study was 100 respondents. Data obtained from the results of the research that have been carried out in the form of perception value and results of laboratory tests regarding the water quality of the Metro River Lowokwaru District. The results showed that the community's perception of Metro water quality has a high value on the question of water quality, clean river water, polluted metro river water, Metro river water is used for social purposes, many residents dispose of waste in rivers and river water used for building materials while the low to very low perception value is found in the question of river water used as a daily necessity. Laboratory test results on the river water quality of Metro indicate that the Metro river water is polluted. Keywords; polluted, quality, physical parameter, chemical parameter ABSTRAK Air merupakan unsur yang berperan penting dan bagi kehidupan semua makhluk di bumi. Oleh sebab itu makhluk hidup berhak mendapatkan air untuk kelangsungan hidup. Manusia sebagai masyarakat pengguna air, berpendapat bahwa keberadaan ini secara alami, tersedia dalam jumlah yang cukup untuk memenuhi kebutuhan hidup. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persepsi masyarakat terhadap kualitas air sungai di DAS Metro Kelurahan Merjosari Kecamatan Lowokwaru Kota Malang. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan April-Juni 2019 dengan menggunakan metode survey dan observasi. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah masyarakat Kelurahan Merjosari. Sampel yang diambil adalah masyarakat yang berada di lingkungan sungai. Teknik yang digunakan dalam pengambilan sampel adalah Purposive Sampling. Jumlah responden yang di ambil dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 100 responden. Data yang didapatkan dari hasil penellitian yang sudah dilakukan berupa nilai presepsi dan hasil uji Laboratorium mengenai kualitas air sungai Metro Kecamatan Lowokwaru. Hasil penelitian didapatkan hasil nilai presepsi masyarakat tentang kualitas air sungai Metro memiliki nilai tinggi pada pertanyaan kualitas air, air sungai bersih, air sungai metro tercemar, air sungai Metro digunakan untuk kepentingan sosial, banyak penduduk membuang limbah di sungai serta air sungai digunakan untuk bahan bangunan sedangkan nilai presepsi yang rendah sampai sangat rendah terdapat pada pertanyaan mengenai air sungai digunakan sebagai kebutuhan sehari-hari. Hasil uji Laboratorium tentang kualitas air sungai Metro menunjukkan bahwa air sungai Metro tercemar. Kata kunci; tercemar, kualitas, parameter fisik, parameter kimia

Abstract

Green Open Space is spaces in a city or a wider area both in the form of area or in the form of elongated lanes areas where the use is more open in nature in the form of buildings. This study aims to determine the state and value of public perceptions about the benefits of green open space. The method used in this study uses a hygrometer and anemometer. The material used is a questionnaire. This research method uses descriptive quantitative method and through direct observation in the field. The results of the study show the average yields of temperatures 29 and 29 in each park. Humidity 70 and 71 wind speeds 0.20 and 0.23 for abiotic factors. While the biotic factor were 25 vegetation in the city of Blambangan and 37 in the city of Sritanjung. The Blambangan city has very high perception value to esthetical and sustainable plants. Sritanjung city has very high perception value to only esthetical plants. Keywords:Vegetation, Green Open Space, Public Perception ABSTRAK Ruang Terbuka Hijau (RTH) adalah ruang dalam kota atau wilayah yang lebih luas baik dalam bentuk kawasan maupun dalam bentuk area memanjang/jalur di mana dalam penggunaannya lebih bersifat terbuka yang pada dasarnya berupa bangunan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keadaan dan nilai persepsi masyarakat tentang manfaat ruang terbuka hijau. Metode yang diguakan dalam penelitian ini meggunakan alat hygrometer dan anemometer bahan yang digunakan adalah kuesioner. Mertode penelitian ini menggunakan metode descriptive kuantitatif dan melalui observasi langsung dilapangan. Dari hasil penenlitian tersebut menunjukkan rata-rata hasil Kelembapan 70 Blambngan dan 71 Sritanjung kecepatan angin 0,20 dan 0,23 untuk faktor abiotik. Sedangkan faktor biotik terdapat 25 vegetasi di taman kota blambangan dan 37 di taman kota sritanjung. Kota Blambangan memiliki nilai persepsi sangat tinggi terhadap tentang estetika dan kelestarian tumbuhan. Kota Sritanjung nilai persepsi sangat tinggi hanya pada tentang estetika. Abstract

Every land holds classes or level way that are different from each other. Lands or physical environment is consist of relief, climate, land, vegetation and water and all above her during influence of land us. This study attemppts to aware of information the village class land ability Sumberejo Poncokusumo Malang in the form of geographical information system (Map). In order to know class ability sumberejo poncokusumo malang. Village land for research equipment used GPS, Covering the Compass, Map satellite (RBI), clinometer, a ruler, stationery, writting, camera and computters(to data processing). The kind of research this is descriptive kualitatif, research the class data the land done with observation directly in proceed with, recording classification and a categorization directly from the field to be supported by land, map data The land mapping by recording the GPS coordinates of GPS (Global Positioning System) in the village land sumberejo poncokusumo malang. The object of the research is geospatial data the spatial data map RBI sumberejo poncokusumo malang village area. Subject to the research is an unfortunate sumberejo village poncokusumo malang land. In general the village land sumberejo have characteristic land both in terms of texture slope the, the depth of effective drainage and erosion. The result indicate that the ability of land in the study areas consisting of class II and II. Keywords: classification land, mapping, geospatial, map (RBI), Sumberejo village Land ABSTRAK Setiap lahan memiliki kelas atau tingkat kemampuannya yang berbeda-beda antara satu sama lainnya. Lahan atau lingkungan fisik ini terdidri atas relief, iklim, tanah, vegetasi dan air serta segala yang berada di atasnya selama mempengaruhi penggunaan lahan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui informasi kelas kemampuan lahan desa Sumberejo Poncokusumo Malang dalam bentuk sistem informasi geografis (Peta). Sehingga dapat diketahui kelas kemampuan lahan desa Sumberejo Poncokusumo Malang. Selama penelitian peralatan yang digunakan meliputi GPS , kompas, Peta Satelit (RBI), Klinometer, Penggaris, alat tulis menulis, kamera, dan Perangkat Komputer/ Laptop (untuk pengolahan data). Jenis Penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif, perolehan data kelas kemampuan lahan dilakukan dengan pengamatan secara langsung yang dilanjutkan dengan pencatatan, klasifikasi dan kategorisasi secara langsung dari lapangan didukung dengan data peta lahan, survei pemetaan lahan dengan merekam titik koordinat dari GPS (Global Positioning System) di wilayah kawasan lahan desa sumberejo poncokusumo malang. Objek dalam penelitian ini adalah data geospasial, yaitu data spasial peta RBI daerah desa Sumberejo Poncokusumo Malang. Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah Lahan desa Sumberejo Poncokusumo Malang. Secara umum, kemampuan lahan desa Sumberejo mempunyai karakteristik lahan yang baik dari segi tekstur, kemiringan lereng, kedalaman efektif, drainase dan erosi. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa penentuan kemampuan lahan di daerah penelitian yang terdiri atas kelas II dan III. Abstract

The affected agricultural land from the rate of conversion is approximately 100,000 ha / year, while 40,000 ha / year of new agricultural land can be printed by the government. Population growth, land tenure by farmers has diminished in size. The area of ​​land ownership in 2012, per farmer is approximately 0.22 ha. It is estimated that it will decrease by 0.18 ha in 2050. This condition makes farmers' welfare decreases due to the inefficient land for farming. The research was conducted on 28 January - 28 February 2019 in 2 locations, Jajang Hamlet and Wonokerto Hamlet which were included in Sumberejo Village, Sumberejo Village at 980 meters above sea level. Sumberejo Village is one of the villages included in the Poncokusumo District, Malang Regency. The data obtained in the form of images were obtained through direct observation at the location of the study. From the exploration carried out found 27 types of supporting plants (shade and interlude) consisting of trees and other commodity crops. In this case the problem of the Sumberejo village plantation community from the one we interviewed directly complained about the lack of knowledge about plants suitable for agroforestry and knowledge about hatcheries and buffer plants. Based on the value of the perceptions of the percentage of Wonokerto and Jajang Hamlet communities the highest score was 93% related to the mixed cropping system problem, while the lowest percentage value was found in the knowledge about 79% in Jajang Hamlet and 80% in the Wonokerto Hamlet perception.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Water quality is what describes the suitability or suitability of water for certain uses. Dumbo catfish (Clarias gariepinus) is one type of fish that has been widely cultivated in Indonesia. The catfish habitat is very flexible, can be cultivated with high stocking densities, very rapid growth, and can live in environments with low oxygen levels, because it has an additional respiratory organ, namely the arborescent organ. This study aims is to compare the length and weight of Dumbo catfish in relation to water quality parameters in pools that made from container of tarpaulin with different densities. The method used in this research is the survey method by collecting primary data on tarpaulin pond water quality and catfish growth measurements, with densely spreading 500 and one thousand per pond of maintenance. The results of the study obtained the range of parameters of tarpaulin pond water quality parameters meeting the optimum standard for the growth of African catfish (C. gariepinus) which is still in accordance with the quality standards according to PP No. 02 of 2011 class III for freshwater fish farmers. The growth of catfish in ponds with 1000 head spreads faster with the average fish length increase of 15.71 cm weighing 14.85 g, compared with a 500-tailed pond with an average length of 15.61 cm and a weight of 14.83 g. Keywords: Quality, Growth, Catfish dumbo ABSTRAK Kualitas air adalah apa yang menggambarkan kesesuaian atau kecocokan air untuk penggunaan tertentu. Lele dumbo (Clarias gariepinus) merupakan salah satu jenis ikan yang sudah banyak dibudidayakan di Indonesia. Habitatnya ikan lele sangat fleksibel, dapat dibudidayakan dengan padat penebaran tinggi, pertumbuhannya sangat pesat, dan bisa hidup dilingkungan dengan kadar oksigen rendah, karena mempunyai organ pernapasan tambahan yaitu arborescent organ. Penelitian ini bertujuan untukmembandingkan pertambahan panjang dan bobot ikan lele dumbo kaitannya dengan parameter kualitas air pada kolam wadah terpal dengan kepadatan yang berbeda.Metode yang digunakan penelitian adalah metode survei dengan pengumpulan data primer kualitas air kolam terpal dan pengukuran pertumbuhan ikan lele, dengan padat penebaran lima ratus dan seribu ekor per kolam pemeliharaan. Hasil penelitian mendapatkan nilai kisaran parameter kualitas air kolam terpal memenuhi standar optimum bagi pertumbuhan ikan lele Dumbo yang masih sesuai dengan standar baku mutu menurut PP No. 02 Tahun 2011 kelas III untuk pembudidaya ikan air tawar. Pertumbuhan ikan lele pada kolam dengan tebaran 1000 ekor lebih cepat dengan hasil rerata pertambahan panjang ikan sebesar 15,71 cm dengan bobot 14,85 g, dibandingkan dengan kolam tebaran 500 ekor dengan rerata pertambahan panjang 15,61 cm dan bobot 14,83 g. Abstract

Alo river is one of the rivers in Sidoarjo, the river is a branch of the Porong river, as long as there are residential, agricultural, aquaculture streams, hereas the estuary area is the place for fishing. The Alo River is also used by the surrounding community for daily needs such as washing clothes, bathing, agricultural irrigation and so on. However, the current condition of the waters in the river can no longer be used for daily activities due to waste disposal either from Lapindo or household waste flowed into the river. The waste is in the form of solid and liquid waste, which may consist of organic material, which is either toxic or non-toxic. The purpose of research is to find out the quality of the waters and the diversity of macrofauna in them. This research method uses quantitative descriptive, river water quality test using physical and chemical parameters namely temperature, pH, DO, BOD, TSS, TDS, salinity, brightness, depth. Calculation of macrofauna diversity using the Shannon Winner formula, the results showed no macrofauna species were high in these waters. The species found were Trichogaster pectoralis, Caesio chyrsosonus, Anadara granosa, Corbicula javanica, Macrobrachium rosenbergii, Oreocromis musambicus, Portunus pelagicus, Hypsiscus plumbea, Moolgarda seheli. Keywords: macrofauna diversity, water quality, Alo river ABSTRAK Untuk kepentingan sehari-hari seperti mencuci baju, mandi, irigasi pertanian dan lain sebagainya. Namun kondisi perairan di sungai tersebut saat ini sudah tidak dapat di manfaatkan lagi untuk kegiatan sehari-hari akibat pembuangan limbah baik dari lapindo ataupun limbah rumah tangga yang di alirkan ke sungai. Limbah tersebut berupa limbah padat dan cair, yang mungkin terdiri atas bahan organik, yang bercaun ataupun tidak beracun. Tujuan dari penelitan untuk mengetahui kualitas perairan dan diversitas makrofauna di dalamnya. Metode penelitian ni menggunakan deskriptif kuantitatif, uji kualitas air sungai menggunakan parameter fisika dan kimia yaitu suhu, pH, DO, BOD, TSS, TDS, salinitas, kecerahan, kedalaman. Diversitas makrofauna Sungai Alo merupakan salah satu sungai yang ada di Sidoarjo, sungai tersebut merupakan cabang dari sungai porong, sepanjang alirannya terdapat pemukiman, pertanian, pertambakan. Sedangkan daerah muaranya menjadi tempat tangkapan ikan. Sungai Alo juga di manfaatkan oleh masyarakat sekitar menggunakan rumus Shannon Winner dan di identifikasi, hasil penelitian menunjukkan spesies makrofauna yang tinggi di dalan perairan tersebut. Speseies yang di temukan antara lain yaitu Trichogaster pectoralis, Caesio chyrsosonus, Anadara granosa, Corbicula javanica, Macrobrachium rosenbergii, Oreocromis musambicus, Portunus pelagicus, Hypsiscus plumbea, Moolgarda seheli. Abstract

Clean water is a serious problem in Indonesia, the availability of clean water has shrunk drastically due to deteriorating environment and pollution. Drinking water that meets safety standards is increasingly scarce. More than 100 million people need safe water sources. Filter media is able to remove chemicals in water such as turbid, odor, oily, yellowish, rusty and muddy making it unfit for consumption. In addition, the purpose of the clarification results must also be considered whether to drink household needs or other needs. This study uses Lauryl Tryptose Broth (LTB) media and petrifilm media. Petrifilm results show that it is very easy to count the bacteria Colifrom and Escerichia coli using petrifilm media. From the analysis of calculations using the Paired Samples T-Test on the sample before filtering and after filtering it was obtained the Tcount value of 2.28 with a P value 0.015 which showed very successful or significant results between the samples before and after the filter. In this analysis have normally distributed data with a significant value of P = 0.015 (<0.05). In this case the Paired Samples T-Test was tested for normality (Shapiro-Wilk) and the results were obtained in the form of a P value of <.001 which would indicate that the data was normally distributed, indicated by a P value <0.05. The filter on this filter is very useful for filtering on Escerichia coli bacteria because this filter removes the bacteria, but Colifrom bacteria can still escape the use of the filter, because it depends on environmental conditions. Colifrom and Escerichia coli bacteria occur is seen from the relationship between sources of pollution such as, for example, such as septic tanks, distance of wells with waste, trash, and livestock pollution. The quality of drinking water is very close to the presence of Colifrom and Escerichia coli bacteria which are likely to have pathogenic bacteria that are harmful to health in the quality of well water. Water samples to be observed using well water using 2 treatments as many as 12 repetitions. Thus the total sample obtained as many as 24 water samples will be observed. While the test making of Lauryl Triptose Broth medium was observed by incubating 48 hours at 35oC + gas. Before making the test tube medium must be sterilized first. Subsequent tests were observed with a petrifilm medium to determine the presence or absence of Colifrom and Escherichia coli bacteria by looking at the color of the battery being sought. Abstract

Permasalahan rutin yang kerap dialami peternak di Desa Tlekung, Kec. Junrejo, Kota Batu adalah sulitnya memenuhi kebutuhan pakan hijauan disaat musim kemarau. Di satu sisi, Desa Tlekung berdampingan dengan lereng Gunung Panderman, yang didalamnya terdapat hutan dengan potensi hijauan sebesar 141.636 ton per tahunnya. Lahan hutan sanggup memasok kebutuhan pakan hijauan disaat musim penghujan, namun hijauan menjadi kering dan langka pada musim kemarau. Akibatnya, peternak mengupayakan pemenuhan kebutuhan pakan pada musim kemarau melalui penggunaan jerami padi. Walaupun demikian, cadangan jerami hasi penanaman di lahan sawah di Desa Tlekung tidak mencukupi untuk memenuhi kebutuhan pakan. Usaha dalam mengatasi kekurangan pakan di musim kemarau dilakukan dengan membeli jerami padi dari luar kecamatan. Upaya ini bukanlah solusi yang tepat guna dalam mengatasi kekurangan hijauan, karena nilai nutrisi yang terkandung dalam jerami padi tidak dapat mencukupi kebutuhan hidup sapi dan domba. Tujuan yang ingin dicapai dalam program pengabdian ini adalah untuk mengenalkan, meningkatkan kesadaran dan memotivasi peternak agar mampu serta berkeinginan untuk menerapkan teknologi ensilase, guna menghasilkan silase sebagai cadangan pakan hijauan disaat musim kemarau. Berdasarkan hasil tahapan evaluasi yang telah dilakukan, tingkat keberhasilan dapat melebihi target kriteria keberhasilan yang telah dilakukan. Secara umum, peserta menyatakan penyelenggaraan pelatihan adalah hal yang penting dan dibutuhkan, dimana peserta menyatakan memahami materi yang diberikan, mampu mempraktekkan pembuatan silase, serta sebagian peserta akan mengimplementasi pembuatan silase. Dengan demikian, kegiatan pendampingan ini dapat dikatakan berhasil, karena mampu meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kemampuan peserta dalam mengikuti kegiatan pengabdian.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of liquid organic fertilizer fermented by maja fruit and NUPOC on the growth of water spinach plants and to determine the effective concentration affecting the growth of water spinach plants (Ipomoea aquatica). This research was carried out by CV. Javacola which is located on Jalan Joyo Suryo Lowokwaru Malang, during October to December 2021. Using the Experimental Randomized Block Design (RAK) method. In each nutrient, there were 9 treatments and 5 replications, with treatment concentrations of 5 ml/liter, 10 ml/liter, 15 ml/liter and 20 ml/liter. Data analysis used the one-way ANOVA test and if there was a significant difference, it was continued with the 5% BNT test. The results showed that the treatment that had the highest effect on plant height, number of leaves, root length, number of roots, wet weight and dry weight was P1A4 treatment (Maja fruit fermentation 20 ml/liter), while the NUPOC treatment had a high effect on growth, namely in the P2A3 treatment (NUPOC 15ml/liter). Existing limiting factors such as temperature, humidity, light intensity and soil pH are still within the range of water spinach plant growing requirements.

Abstract

Global warming that causes climate change is due to increased emissions of greenhouse gases (GHG) in the form of CO2, CH4 and other forms in the atmosphere. The application of the agroforestry system is one of the efforts to overcome the need for agricultural land by maintaining the function of the forest and the environment. The purpose of this study was to determine the potential for carbon stored in Arabica coffee (Coffea arabica) stands and to determine abiotic factors in the locations where Arabica coffee (Coffea arabica) stands grow in agroforestry areas. This research used descriptive method and coffee stand sampling technique using non-destructive purposive sampling. For each stand sample, 25 trees were taken for each Gayo 1, p88 and Ateng coffee varieties so that the total sample size was 75 trees. Calculation data analysis includes allometric Ketterings dry weight = 0.11 D2.62 (2001) and Arifin allometric formula = 0.281 D2.0635 (2001). Analysis of biomass data carbon = dry weight x 0.47. The results showed that the largest carbon storage was found in the Gayo 1 variety, then the p88 variety and the smallest carbon storage was found in the Ateng variety. Abiotic factors in coffee agroforestry show soil moisture 18.3%, air humidity 60-75%, soil pH 7.5%, soil temperature 21°C, air temperature 21-25°C with an altitude of 900-1100 masl. Abiotic factors affect plant growth, and light intensity also affects plant biomass.Keywords: Agroforestry, Allometrics, Abiotic Factors, Carbon, Coffee VarietiesABSTRAKPemanasan global yang menimbulkan perubahan iklim dikarenakan meningkatnya emisi gas rumah kaca (GRK) dalam bentuk CO2, CH4dan bentuk lainnyadi atmosfer. Penerapan sistem agroforestri merupakan salah satu upaya untuk mengatasi kebutuhan lahan pertanian dengan mempertahankan fungsi hutan dan lingkungan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui potensi karbon tersimpan pada tegakan varietas kopi Arabika (Coffea arabica) dan untuk mengetahui faktor abiotik di lokasi tempat tumbuh tegakan varietas kopi Arabika (Coffea arabica) di lahan agroforestri. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dan teknik sampling tegakan kopi menggunakan purposive sampling non-destructive. Tiap sampel tegakan diambil 25 pohon pada setiap varietas kopi Gayo 1, p88 dan Ateng sehingga jumlah sampel keseluruhan 75 pohon. Analisa data perhitungan meliputi allometrik Ketterings berat kering = 0,11 ρ D2,62 (2001) dan rumus allometrik Arifin = 0,281 D2,0635 (2001). Analilis data biomasa karbon = berat kering x 0,47. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan simpanan karbon terbesar terdapat pada varietas Gayo 1, kemudian varietas p88 dan simpanan karbon paling kecil terdapat pada varietas Ateng. Faktor abiotik di agroforestri kopi  menunjukkan kelembaban tanah 18,3%, kelembaban udara 60-75%, pH tanah 7,5%, suhu tanah 21°C, Suhu udara 21-25°C dengan ketinggian 900-1100 mdpl. Faktor abiotik berpengaruh pada pertumbuhan tanaman, dan intensitas cahaya juga berpengaruh terhadap biomassa tanaman.Kata kunci : Agroforestri, Allometrik, Faktor Abiotik, Karbon, Varietas Kopi
