Abstract

Indonesia is a country with high biodiversity that have many plants, one of them is japanesse pepaya plant (Cnidoscolus aconitifolius). Japanese pepaya leaves used by people as a traditional medicine, this is because pepaya leaves contain compounds that can act as antibacterials. Escherichia coli is a normal flora that found in the human large intestine (colon). Escherichia coli can cause primary infections, one of the infections is diarrhea. The purpose of this study was to determine the ability of Japanese pepaya leaf juice (Cnidoscolus aconitifolius) to inhibit the growth of Escherichia coli bacteria and to determine the concentration of Japanese pepaya leaf extract that is effective in inhibiting the growth of Escherichia coli bacteria. This type of research is a laboratory experiment. The inhibition test used the Kirby Bauer agar diffusion method. The research variables were the concentration of Japanese pepaya leaf extract of 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100%, and the growth inhibition zone of Escherichia coli bacteria. The results of this study showed that no inhibition zone formed around the wells when Japanese pepaya extract was administered at various concentrations. The conclusion of this study is that Japanese pepaya (Cnidoscolus aconitifolius) leaf juice has no potential to inhibit the growth of Escherichia coli bacteria.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui bagaimana pelayanan Perusahaan Umum Daerah Air Minum Cabang Tebas dalam memberikan pemenuhan air minum terhadap pelanggan Tinjauan Bab XIV Peraturan Daerah Kabupaten Sambas Nomor 7 Tahun 2010 Tentang Perusahaan Daerah Air Minum (PDAM) Tirta Muare Ualakan Kabupaten Sambas dan apa yang menjadi faktor pendukung dan penghambat pelayanan Perusahaan Umum Daerah Air Minum Cabang Tebas dalam memberikan pelayanan kepada pelanggan Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian lapangan (field research) dengan pendekatan empiris. Pendekatan yang digunakan untuk memperoleh ilmu pengetahuan yang dihasilkan dari pengamatan terhadap fenomena yang sebenarnya terjadi. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa faktor pendukung dalam pelayanan yaitu adanya peraturan perturan perundang-undangan tentang pelayanan, selain itu yang menjadi faktor penghambat dalam pelayanan adalah kurangnya sumber daya manusia. Perusahaan Umum Daaerah Air Minum Cabang Tebas telah mendistribusikan air selama dua puluh empat jam dalam sehari, yang bertujuan dapat memberikan debit atau tekanan sesuai yang diharapkan.

Abstract

Digital-based learning is the biggest obstacle faced by partner schools. This has an impact on the accessibility of learning materials and limited information. Therefore, this PKM aims to develop a prototype website for elementary schools to improve the quality and accessibility of education in partner schools.  The research method used is a design-based research approach consisting of two semesters. The first semester is used to design and develop a prototype of the school's website, while the second semester is focused on analyzing and testing its effectiveness. The limitation of this study lies in creating a prototype school website that can support the teaching and learning process in schools through digital-based teaching media. The results of this development research are a prototype of a school website that is ready to be tested. The prototype of the school website developed is expected to be a valuable medium for schools, students, and parents to support a more effective and efficient learning process. Thus, this research is expected to open the door to a more inclusive and quality education for all children in Parepare.            Keywords: Digital-based open media; Design-based research prototype; Learning effectiveness; Basic education;  Web-based school;Pembelajaran berbasis digital menjadi kendala terbesar yang dihadapi oleh sekolah mitra. Hal ini berdampak pada aksesibilitas materi pembelajaran dan informasi yang terbatas. Oleh karena itu, PKM ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sebuah prototipe website untuk sekolah dasar sebagai solusi untuk meningkatkan kualitas dan aksesibilitas pendidikan di sekolah mitra. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan design based research, yang terdiri dari dua semester. Semester pertama digunakan untuk merancang dan mengembangkan prototipe website sekolah, sementara semester kedua difokuskan pada analisis dan pengujian efektivitasnya. Batasan kajian ini terletak pada pengembangkan prototipe website sekolah yang dapat memberikan dukungan terhadap proses belajar mengajar di sekolah melalui media ajar berbasis digital. Hasil dari penelitian pengembangan ini berupa prototipe website sekolah yang siap untuk diujicobakan. Prototipe website sekolah yang dikembangkan diharapkan dapat menjadi media yang bermanfaat bagi sekolah, siswa, dan orang tua dalam mendukung proses pembelajaran yang lebih efektif dan efisien. Abstract

Elderly individuals are susceptible to systemic and metabolic health problems, making it more difficult to perform daily activities. This research aims to determine how to create communication aid for the elderly based on internet of things. The method used in this study is planning, designing and testing communication aids. The planning stage starts with making the tool design, designing the circuit module and determining the electronic components. The design starts with making the frame, assembling the microcontroller circuit, assembling the frame with the microcontroller circuit and designing the software by creating a programming language on the Arduino Uno IDE. The results of the study show that the creation of communication aids for the elderly is done by designing an electronic circuit by integrating sensors with the ESP8266 Wifi module. The system design is carried out through the stages of identifying the needs of elderly users through interview studies, planning hardware and software designs, hardware and software designs, and integration stages with the Telegram application. The test results show that the tool can convey messages or notifications automatically real-timeAs long as it's connected to the internet no more than 70 meters, the device can respond quickly when the sender presses a button, and the recipient can receive a notification. The recipient can respond by replying via Telegram, while the sender can view the notification on the LCD screen. The communication tool still depends on the internet network and power supply.

Abstract

Abstract - The clean water supply system on trains is an important component in supporting the comfort and cleanliness of lavatory facilities on passenger trains. This study aims to design and implement a real-time water level monitoring system using the ESP32 microcontroller and the Blynk platform. This research involves field studies, literature reviews, equipment planning, and testing procedures.The system uses three analog water level sensors installed on three different water tanks in three train units. Each tank is equipped with three LED indicators (LOW, MEDIUM, FULL) as direct visual feedback in the field. The water level data is read by the ESP32 and sent in real-time to the Blynk application dashboard every three seconds. In addition, the system is equipped with an automatic notification feature when a change in water level occurs, allowing users to remotely monitor the tank condition.The test results show that the sensor's ADC reading when the tank is empty is 0, and when full reaches a maximum value of 2128 (water tank 1), 2069 (water tank 2), and 2148 (water tank 3). These values are then mapped into percentages to make the data easier to interpret visually in the application. The system has been proven to provide accurate, responsive, and stable information. Abstrak - Sistem penyediaan air bersih di kereta api merupakan bagian penting untuk mendukung kenyamanan dan kebersihan fasilitas lavatory pada kereta penumpang. Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang dan mengimplementasikan sistem monitoring ketinggian air (water level) secara real-time menggunakan mikrokontroler ESP32 dan platform Blynk. Penelitian ini menggunakan studi lapangan, studi literatur, perencanaan alat, dan prosedur pengujian alat. Sistem menggunakan tiga sensor level air analog yang dipasang pada tiga tangki air berbeda di tiga unit kereta. Setiap tangki dilengkapi dengan tiga indikator LED (LOW, MEDIUM, FULL) sebagai umpan balik visual secara langsung di lapangan. Data level air dibaca oleh ESP32 dan dikirim secara real-time ke dashboard aplikasi Blynk setiap tiga detik. Selain itu, sistem juga dilengkapi dengan fitur notifikasi otomatis ketika terjadi perubahan level air, sehingga pengguna dapat memantau kondisi tangki secara jarak jauh. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa nilai pembacaan ADC sensor ketika tangki kosong berada pada angka 0, dan saat penuh mencapai nilai maksimum sebesar 2128 (water tank 1), 2069 (water tank 2), dan 2148 (water tank 3). Nilai-nilai tersebut dipetakan ke dalam bentuk persentase untuk memudahkan interpretasi visual pada aplikasi. Sistem terbukti mampu memberikan informasi secara akurat, responsif, dan stabil. Dengan adanya sistem ini, proses pengawasan air lavatory kereta menjadi lebih efektif, efisien, dan tidak lagi memerlukan pemeriksaan manual oleh petugas. Abstract

Manual operation of engine oil pumps is often prone to inaccuracy and requires continuous human supervision. Furthermore, the reliance on electricity from conventional sources increases operational costs and may result in suboptimal energy efficiency. This study presents the design and development of an Internet of Things (IoT)-based electric engine oil pump system capable of automatically controlling and monitoring oil volume in real time. The proposed system utilizes an ESP8266 NodeMCU Lolin V3 as the primary microcontroller, integrated with a flowmeter, 4×4 keypad, relay, and electric pump. For remote operation, the system employs the Blynk application over a Wi-Fi network. The research methodology encompasses hardware and software development, followed by performance evaluation based on predefined input codes (*123#, *456#, and *789#) and remote control via the Blynk platform. Experimental results demonstrate that the system can dispense oil with high precision, achieving an average measurement deviation of only ±5 mL. Moreover, the system supports remote operation and enables automated data logging to an online spreadsheet, thereby enhancing operational efficiency and data accessibility

Abstract

  The rapid advancement of technology has significantly impacted the field of education, making learning more interactive and engaging. This study aims to investigate the implementation of Google Sites in enhancing the learning motivation of eighth-grade students at SMPN 1 Polongbangkeng Utara in science subjects. The research employed a Classroom Action Research (PTK) approach with a quantitative descriptive method, involving 32 students as participants. Data were collected through observations, questionnaires, and documentation over two cycles of learning interventions. The results showed that students’ learning motivation increased progressively from the pre-cycle, with a low average of 38%, to cycle I with 55% (moderate), and reached 78% (high) in cycle II. Indicators such as diligence, perseverance, attention, achievement, and independence showed significant improvement after utilizing Google Sites. These findings suggest that Google Sites, as an interactive and easily accessible digital learning media, can effectively stimulate student engagement, facilitate understanding of complex concepts, and foster independent learning. The study highlights the potential of integrating technology-based media to enhance motivation in science education.

Abstract

Background: Desa Ngrayun, yang terletak di Kecamatan Ngrayun, Kabupaten Ponorogo, memiliki banyak potensi dalam pengembangan komoditas kopi. Namun, potensi tersebut belum dimanfaatkan secara optimal karena keterbatasan pengetahuan teknis budidaya, rendahnya efisiensi pengolahan pascapanen, lemahnya strategi pemasaran, serta keterbatasan bibit unggul. Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) ini bertujuan untuk memperkuat kemampuan para petani kopi melalui kegiatan pelatihan budidaya berkelanjutan serta penerapan teknologi yang sesuai dan efisien dan penguatan strategi pemasaran digital. Metode: Metode yang digunakan meliputi pendidikan masyarakat, pendekatan fungsional, dan pendampingan berkelanjutan. Kegiatan dilaksanakan dalam bentuk pelatihan teknis, demonstrasi pengolahan kopi dengan metode full washed, honey, dan natural process, serta pengenalan mesin pengupas dan penggiling kopi sebagai inovasi teknologi efisiensi produksi. Hasil: Hasil pelaksanaan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan terhadap pengetahuan dan keterampilan petani. Sekitar 80% peserta berhasil menerapkan teknik budidaya yang baik, sementara 70% lainnya telah memahami metode pengolahan kopi modern, 60% mulai menerapkan strategi pemasaran digital melalui marketplace, dan 100% bibit unggul telah ditanam di lahan percontohan. Rata-rata capaian keberhasilan program mencapai 78%, dengan dampak nyata berupa peningkatan kualitas produk kopi dan kesadaran terhadap keberlanjutan usaha tani. Implikasi program ini mencakup perlunya pembentukan koperasi petani kopi, pelatihan lanjutan cupping test, serta pengembangan jejaring pemasaran kopi spesialti. Kesimpulan: Dengan kolaborasi antara perguruan tinggi, pemerintah daerah, dan kelompok tani, Desa Ngrayun memiliki potensi untuk berkembang menjadi salah satu sentra kopi unggulan di Kabupaten Ponorogo sekaligus menjadi contoh pemberdayaan masyarakat yang berbasis pada potensi lokal secara berkelanjutan.
