Abstract

This issue is focused on the liability of life insurance in the conditions of the COVID-19 virus in terms of statutory regulations. In insurance, it is necessary to know the risks broadly which is an essential basis for understanding and knowing the concepts and techniques of risk management. The concept of risk is needed to analyze various ways to protect the insured object. The company is always faced with risks so that risk is part of the company's activities. The data were collected through literature and interviews and analyzed descriptively and qualitatively. This study concludes that life insurance coverage, specifically for the COVID-19 virus, is implemented by applying the principle of freedom of contract as a form of implementing the principle of good faith of insurance companies as insurers to provide good service to policyholders, even though pandemic coverage is not a category of protection established by every insurance company. There is no specific regulation providing legal certainty to insurance companies in providing their services.

This study aims to determine and analyze cases of sexual violence in the media experienced by millennial Muslim women. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive approach with a feminist perspective with a phenomenological approach. The objects of research studied include social media in the form of WhatsApp, Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook. Meanwhile, millennial Muslim women who are active on social media and have experienced cases of online-based sexual violence are the subjects of the study. Data sources were obtained through observation by distributing questionnaires. Data analysis was carried out by reviewing, organizing data and finding research results that can be reported systematically. The results of the study show that millennial Muslim women have experienced many cases of sexual violence on various social media, including sexting (sex texting), to threats to spread pornographic videos. Anonymity on social media allows perpetrators to feel freer to express themselves, so cases of sexual violence on online media are more likely to occur. Among the prevention efforts offered by researchers are social media campaigns about the dangers of online sexual violence and being wise in using social media as well as early sex education

Abstract

This study seeks to examine and evaluate the efficacy of implementing the principle of "Bhinneka Tunggal Ika" (unity in diversity), which embodies local wisdom, in the governance of micro and small enterprises in Maluku Province as an aspect of local legal development. The principle of Bhinneka Tunggal Ika needs to be incorporated into laws and regulations, particularly regional legal mechanisms related to micro and small enterprises, in compliance with the Law on the Formation of Legislation. In Maluku's legal landscape, many regional legal products pertaining to micro and small enterprises fail to incorporate the principles of local wisdom into their content. This socio-legal investigation study integrates empirical legal research methods with doctrinal legal research. Primary and secondary data were gathered through interviews and literature reviews. The study results suggest that the legal protection provided to micro and small enterprise owners in Maluku has been ineffective. In addition, the legal content of regional legal products in Maluku fails to adequately account for value derived from local wisdom, as required by statutory provisions. Thus, it is necessary to reconsider incorporating values from local wisdom into various regional legal instruments related to developing and empowering micro and small enterprises in Maluku. This approach will support regional flagship products while facilitate the growth within the local economy, preserving the values of local wisdom in the face of global developments.

Abstract

The impact of operational risk management on visitors' memorable experiences, intention to return, and intention to refer Batulayang Tourism Village is investigated in this study.  The study tackles the important topic of how poorly managed operational risks, like subpar amenities and safety issues, impact visitor loyalty and pleasure.  Effective risk management is crucial for preserving satisfying experiences and encouraging return visits in Indonesia's tourism industry, which is becoming more and more competitive.  Research on operational risk management in rural tourism communities like Batulayang is still scarce, leaving a gap in our knowledge of its precise effects on rural destinations. Prior studies have concentrated on more general tourism contexts. This study is innovative because it uses a mixed-method approach to provide deeper insights into how risk management might enhance visitors' experiences and affect their future behavior. It focuses on operational risk management in rural tourism settings.  In order to provide useful advice for tourist managers, the study aims to investigate how operational risk management affects visitors' intentions to return and promote the town.  In order to support the sustainable growth of rural tourism in Indonesia, it is anticipated that the findings will assist tourism stakeholders in raising service quality, improving visitor happiness, and boosting industry competitiveness.
