Abstract

Partner of this international collaboration of community service is RMIT University in Australia, Prof. Dr. Heather Fehring, to be invited to collaborate in giving socialization about effective literacies assessment in the covid-19 pandemic era to encourage development of elementary school teachers’ competences in the province of Jakarta in Indonesia.  Location of this international collaboration of community service is in the Province of Jakarta in Indonesia.  The target of this community service is elementary school teachers in the Province of Jakarta in Indonesia.  The problem with the target audiences is that the elementary school teachers’ competences in the province of Jakarta in Indonesia to deal with effective literacies assessment in the covid-19 pandemic era has not been optimal.  In addition to this, the socialization of effective literacies assessment in the covid-19 pandemic era for elementary school teachers in the Province of Jakarta in Indonesia has not been done before.  In order to develop elementary school teachers’ competences in the province of Jakarta in Indonesia in dealing with literacies assessment in the covid-19 pandemic era to achieve optimal learning quality, the solution is socialization of effective literacies assessment in the covid-19 pandemic era for them.  The output targets to be achieved in this international collaboration of community service are pocket book, certificates, videos on YouTube, articles in journal of community service, publications in mass media, Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), seminar, report.The methods used in conducting this international collaboration of community service are cooperative learning, problem-based learning, and giving assignments.  This socialization is conducted through video conferences in the form of learning activities to improve the competence in dealing with effective literacies assessment in the covid-19 pandemic era to achieve optimal learning quality for elementary school teachers in the province of Jakarta in Indonesia. The socialization of virtual classroom given is related to technical guidelines of effective literacies assessment implementation in order to achieve optimal learning quality. This international collaboration of community service is conducted at elementary schools in the Province of Jakarta in Indonesia because those elementary schools are regularly coached by Universitas Negeri Jakarta.  Evaluation of process and results is done to find out the competences of elementary school teachers in the province of Jakarta in Indonesia in dealing with effective literacies assessment in the covid-19 pandemic era to achieve optimal learning quality.  This international collaboration of community service is started with a pre-test about effective literacies assessment implementation to know the prior knowledge of target audiences about effective literacies assessment and ended with a post-test after socialization is completed to determine the success of implementing this activity.

Abstract

Dalam era pendidikan abad ke-21, penggunaan media pembelajaran digital dianggap dapat meningkatkan keterampilan siswa sekolah dasar. Satu dari beberapa keterampilan penting yang membutuhkan pemahaman yang baik adalah keterampilan membaca pemahaman. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk memberikan tinjauan literatur mengenai pengaruh media pembelajaran digital terhadap keterampilan membaca pemahaman siswa sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif jenis studi literatur (kajian pustaka). Berdasarkan hasil analisis dari 15 jurnal yang relevan, disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan media pembelajaran digital berpengaruh positif terhadap keterampilan membaca pemahaman siswa sekolah dasar. Berdasarkan uji kelayakan, media pembelajaran digital juga dinilai sangat layak dan efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan tersebut. Media pembelajaran digital merupakan alat modern, inovatif, dan efisien yang sangat berguna dalam proses pembelajaran karena dapat menyajikan informasi atau pengetahuan dalam berbagai bentuk mulai dari teks, grafik, video, animasi, dan audio. Keberagaman ini menjadikan proses pembelajaran lebih menarik dan mampu membangkitkan minat serta motivasi belajar siswa. Maka dari itu, penggunaan media pembelajaran digital di dunia pendidikan sebaiknya terus ditingkatkan guna meningkatkan mutu pembelajaran dan ketrampilan siswa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini didasarkan pada kebutuhan siswa terhadap media pembelajaran yang menarik untuk mempelajari materi sejarah kerajaan-kerajaan di Nusantara. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengembangkan flashcard media berbasis animasi Zepeto untuk pembelajaran IPS kelas IV tentang sejarah kerajaan-kerajaan di Nusantara. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model 4D (define, design, development, disseminate). Instrumen penelitian menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan angket. Hasil penelitian divalidasi oleh para ahli, menunjukkan bahwa validitas ahli materi sebesar 95% (sangat valid), validitas ahli media sebesar 96% (sangat valid), dan validitas ahli bahasa sebesar 75% (valid). Produk juga telah dilakukan uji coba yang terdiri dari uji coba satu lawan satu (97,5% sangat layak), uji coba kelompok kecil (96,6% sangat layak), dan uji coba field test (98,8% sangat layak). Secara keseluruhan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa produk flashcard media berbasis animasi Zepeto sangat layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran IPS materi Sejarah Kerajaan-Kerajaan di Nusantara bagi siswa kelas IV sekolah dasar

Abstract

This Community Service Activity (P2M) departs from the problems of teachers' ignorance of the concept of the Merdekan Belajar’s Curriculum and its implementation. This P2M activity aims to improve the competence of elementary school teachers in Cinyosog Village, Cileungsi in compiling a Learning Implementation Plan (RPP) for Merdeka Belajar based on characters and 21st century skills. This competency enhancement was carried out through socialization activities regarding RPP Merdeka Belajar based on characters and 21st century skills, then Training on Preparation for the Merdeka Belajar’s RPP based on the Character and Skill of 21st Century for Teachers of SDN 01 Cinyosog by offline and online. This P2M activity was attended by 14 teachers at SDN Cinyosog 01 Cileungsi. This training provided the concept of Merdeka Belajar based on characters and 21st century skills, then compiled RPP. This RPP is linked to the 2013 SD Curriculum that was applicable during the Covid-19 pandemic, namely the Merdeka Belajar’s RPP with simplification of KI-KD in the curriculum structure, as well as simplifying the components in the RPP. The lesson plan includes three components, namely learning objectives, learning steps, and evaluation of the learning presented based on the characters and skills of the 21st century. The product of this training activity is a collection of lesson plans compiled by the teachers of SDN Cinyosog 01 Cileungsi and videos of the training activities for the Merdeka Belajar’s RPP based on the Characters and Skills of the 21st Century which was uploaded on the Youtube channel of the PBSI FBS UNJ Study Program.

Abstract

Berdasarkan hasil analisis dari 15 jurnal yang relevan, disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan media pembelajaran digital berpengaruh positif terhadap keterampilan membaca pemahaman siswa sekolah dasar. Berdasarkan uji kelayakan, media pembelajaran digital juga dinilai sangat layak dan efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan tersebut. Media pembelajaran digital merupakan alat modern, inovatif, dan efisien yang sangat berguna dalam proses pembelajaran karena dapat menyajikan informasi atau pengetahuan dalam berbagai bentuk mulai dari teks, grafik, video, animasi, dan audio. Keberagaman ini menjadikan proses pembelajaran lebih menarik dan mampu membangkitkan minat serta motivasi belajar siswa. Maka dari itu, penggunaan media pembelajaran digital di dunia pendidikan sebaiknya terus ditingkatkan guna meningkatkan mutu pembelajaran dan ketrampilan siswa.

Abstract

The role playing method is one of the learning methods that allows students to practice putting them selves in various roles and situations that will improve their learning outcomes, understanding and skills. This research is quantitative research using experimental methods, the purpose of this article is to review the literature related to the Effect of Role Playing Learning Model on Student Learning Outcomes in Civics Class V Elementary School. Based on the results of the literature study, it shows that one of the factors that can affect student learning outcomes is the unattractiveness of the learning methods used by teachers when teaching. And there are still many students who think that learning Civics is known as a subject that often emphasizes memorization. Therefore, teachers need to choose interesting learning methods, such as using the Role Playing model

Abstract

The critical thinking skills of elementary school students still need to be re-considered, especially in learning Social Sciences (IPS). One way to improve critical thinking skills is by using teaching materials in the form of Electronic Student Worksheets (E-LKPD) for Social Studies. This study aims to analyze the needs in developing project-based (PjBL) IPS E-LKPD, the products developed are expected to be able to improve the critical thinking skills of elementary school students. The study was conducted in an elementary school in East Jakarta with 34 students as research subjects. This study uses the ADDIE model development research type. However, in this study the researcher only conducted the analysis stage to determine the analysis of student and teacher needs so that the development of the IPS E-LKPD product is in accordance with field needs. The data collection techniques used were interviews and filling out questionnaires with descriptive analysis techniques. The data were analyzed using descriptive analysis techniques to analyze the social learning process and analyze student characteristics. The results of the analysis showed that the teaching materials in the form of LKPD developed by teachers still had several shortcomings. Therefore, schools really need the right E-LKPD for learning, especially PjBL-based IPS E-LKPD in accordance with the Merdeka Curriculum. The latest information in this study has implications as reference material or analysis information for further research in developing PjBL-based IPS E-LKPD products. Thus, the products developed are in accordance with field needs and can be an alternative solution to existing problems.

Abstract

Adanya permasalahan yaitu kemampuan berpikir untuk memahami soal masih rendah menjadi latar belakang dilaksanakannya penelitian ini. Pemahaman konsep luas dan keliling bangun datar yang masih kurang tepat sehingga terhambat dalam materi bangun ruang menjadi penyebabnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peningkatan kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi siswa dalam pelajaran matematika materi bangun ruang. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk memperoleh data empiris tentang meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi dalam matematika melalui model pembelajaran problem based learning pada siswa kelas V sekolah dasar. Penelitian dilakukan kepada 32 peserta didik. Penelitian dilaksanakan menggunakan model siklus dari stephen Kemmis dan Mc. Taggart dengan 4 tahap setiap siklusnya yaitu tahap perencanaan, tahap tindakan, pengamatan dan refleksi. Pada siklus I presentase ketuntasan skor tes kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi peserta didik adalah 62,5% dan siklus II mencapai 90,6%. Hasil pengamatan aktivitas guru dan siswa menggunakan model pemeblajaran problem based learning pada siklus I adalah 85% dan pada silus II meningkat menjadi 95%. Implikasi dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa model pembelajaran problem based learning efektif digunakan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi dan aktifitas pembelajaran siswa.
