Abstract

The objective of this study is to investigate the impact that having a business plan and engaging in digital marketing have had on the resiliency of micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) in East Jakarta following the pandemic. The population that is the focus of this study is comprised of East Jakarta's 240,512 small and medium-sized businesses. Purposive sampling was used to collect data from these 140 participants to create the sample for this investigation. Processing of data utilizing the SEM (Structural Equation Model) approach with the Smart PLS (Partial Least Squares) tool version 4, which includes the Estimation Test, Evaluation Test, and Mediation Test of the SEM-PLS Model. In light of the results of the hypothesis test, one can reach the following conclusion: the Business Plan variable representing MSME resilience has an influence that is both positive and significant. The influence of digital marketing on the resilience of micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises is positive but insignificant. Meanwhile, the impact of the business strategy on the resiliency of MSMEs is positive but not statistically significant when the intervening variable is digital marketing.

Abstract

Research is an important activity for Higher Education. Higher Education always encourages its lecturers and students to conduct useful research for the society. The importance of improving the quality of basic research skills for students is the background of this activity. This Community Service activity aims to provide insight and understanding related to the use of research supporting tools such as VOSviewer, Publish or Perish, and Mendeley. This activity involved students from the Faculty of Economics Universitas Musi Rawas and the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Muhammadiyah Prof. Dr. HAMKA as the participant. The method of organizing this activity is a classical approach such as demonstrations from speakers, and interactive discussions with participants. The conclusion of the activity is that participants' insights and understanding of VOSviewer, Publish or Perish, and Mendeley have increased. These conclusions were obtained through questionnaires distributed to participants before and after the activity. Keywords: Research, Community Service, VOSviewer, Publish or Perish, and Mendeley.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of financial literacy, perceived usefulness and easy of use on interest in using QRIS on MSMEs in DKI Jakarta. The method used in this research is quantitative. Data collection was carried out using purposive sampling technique. The data used is primary data obtained from distributing questionnaires. The population in this study are MSME players who are registered as members of JakPreneur and use QRIS as a means of payment. The sample in this study amounted to 100 respondents. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis with the help of SPSS software version 22. The results of this study indicate that: (1) financial literacy has a positive and significant effect on interest in using QRIS, (2) perceived usefulness has a positive and significant effect on interest in using QRIS, (3) perceived easy of use has a positive and significant effect on interest in using QRIS, (4) financial literacy, perceived usefulness, and perceived easy of use simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on interest in using QRIS.

Abstract

Foreign portfolio investment is one of the foreign investment flows that has a major contribution to the running of the economy in a country. This study aims to determine the effect of GDP, inflation, and interest rates on foreign portfolio investment in Indonesia. The analysis method used is multiple linear regression using time series data for the period 2014Q1 - 2023Q4. The data used is obtained from the website of Bank Indonesia, Badan Pusat Statistika (BPS), Trading Economics, and CEIC Data. The results showed that GDP has a positive and significant effect on foreign portfolio investment. In addition, inflation also has a positive and significant effect on foreign portfolio investment. Meanwhile, interest rate has a negative and significant effect on foreign portfolio investment. In the simultaneous test, GDP, inflation, and interest rates together have a significant effect on foreign portfolio investment in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the exchange rate on Indonesian exports and the effect of inflation on Indonesian exports. The research model used in this study is the VECM (Vector Error Correction Model) with the Eviews 10 program tool. Using time series data in the time range used is 1989 to 2019 the type of data used is secondary data obtained from the site the official website of the relevant institutions such as the Central Statistics Agency, Bank Indonesia and other institutions. The results of the study that the exchange rate had a significant negative effect on exports in the short term from lag 1 to lag 4 had a coefficient value of -56,60425, - 55,73478, -46,13207 and -50,60992. Long term, the exchange rate had no significant effect on exports with a coefficient value of 25.8964. The estimation result of the VECM model in the short term inflation variable has a significant negative effect on lags 1 and 2 and the coefficient level is - 8.732157 and -6.818958 while in the longterm there is a significant positive effect with a coefficient value of 8.58546.

Abstract

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are an important part of the economy of a country or a region, Indonesia is no exception. Business in the beverage sector does not always complement the food business. The place or location of this research is the contemporary beverage MSMEs in the South Jakarta area. The research was carried out for two months starting from February 2022 to March 2022 which was carried out in stages. In compiling the report, it was concluded that the financing of KUR funds from BRI for the contemporary beverage MSMEs in the South Jakarta area was indeed very effective. The current drink sellers admitted that after getting KUR funds from BRI, their business grew, starting from the turnover they got to the required infrastructure. This is because the financing of KUR funds from BRI does not only provide assistance in the form of funds but also monitors the development of each of these MSME businesses, so that MSME entrepreneurs feel very helped. The role of KUR financing in the development of contemporary beverage MSMEs in the South Jakarta area with this financing can increase business productivity, especially for MSME businesses in Tebet, South Jakarta. This shows that KUR funds provided by BRI can have a positive effect on the development of MSMEs, this can be seen from the initial profits and profits after receiving KUR funds always increase so that MSME entrepreneurs feel very helped. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of provincial minimum wages, investment and labor force participation rate on economic growth in Central Java. The research method used in this study is in the form of panels data from 2016 to 2020 in Regencies/Cities in Central Java Province with a descriptive quantitative model. Data is presented annually obtained from BPS Central Java Province. based on the results of the partial analysis, the variables of the provincial minimum wages, investment and labor force participation rate has a positive and significant effect on economic growth in Central Java, which is seen from the probability value which is smaller than (0.05). Simultaneously all research variables have a significant effect on economic growth and have an influence shown by R 2 of 50.20%, indicating that all research variables can explain variables Y and the remaining 49.80% is explained by other variables outside the study.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of interest rates on loans and third party funds at National Private Commercial Banks in Indonesia in 2015-2019. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling method. The sample in this study consisted of 39 banks. The data analysis technique used in this research is multiple linear regression analysis, classic assumption test which includes normality test, multicollinearity test and heteroscedasticity test and hypothesis test including t test, f test and coefficient of determination. The model used in this study is the Fixed Effect Model. The results of the researchj show that the lending rate has a significant negative effect on the amount of credit disbursement, while third party funds have a significant positive effect on the amount of lending.

Abstract

The employment problem in Indonesia is not just limited opportunities or employment opportunities and low productivity. The increase in unemployment rates is caused by limited demand for work, which is then associated with other external factors including the decline in the balance of payments, increasing foreign debt and other policies which result in a decline in economic growth, decline in wages, investment and decline in employment. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of Economic Growth, Provincial Minimum Wage, Investment, and Covid-19 Dummy on Employment in DKI Jakarta Province in 2018-2022. This study used multiple linear regression method with Generalized Least Square (GLS) model. This study uses secondary data while Covid-19 is included in the dummy variable category. The results of this study show that economic growth has a positive and significant influence on employment. Meanwhile, the provincial minimum wage, investment, and Covid-19 dummy have a negative and insignificant effect on labor absorption in DKI Jakarta Province in 2018-2022.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the impact of perceived benefits, consumer trust, and promotion on student interest in using OVO applications and their effect on user loyalty at the Faculty of Economics, Universitas Negeri Jakarta. This study employs a quantitative method of associational research. Respondents in this study were students using the OVO application at the Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta, and non-probability sampling with the purposive sampling technique was utilized. This study's sample consisted of 150 respondents who utilize the OVO application. With the aid of the SPSS 26 software and a multiple linear analysis method, questionnaire-obtained data were analyzed using a multiple linear analysis approach. This study employs a Likert scale and path analysis for its scale. The findings of this study indicate that the Perceived Benefits and promotions has a significant positive effect on the desire of students at the Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta to use the OVO application. Meanwhile, consumer trust has no effect on students' desire to use the OVO application at the Faculty of Economics, Universitas Negeri Jakarta. Likewise, student interest in using the OVO application indicates that perceived benefits have a significant impact on user loyalty. Student interest in utilizing the OVO application at the Faculty of Economics, Universitas Negeri Jakarta demonstrates that promotion has an effect on user loyalty. Meanwhile, consumer trust has no effect on user loyalty as measured by students' desire to use the OVO application at the Faculty of Economics, Universitas Negeri Jakarta. Lastly, the variable of interest in use influences positively the loyalty of OVO application users to students at the Faculty of Economics, Universitas Negeri Jakarta.
