Abstract

Diperoleh data bahwa penggunaan komputer dalam pembelajaran mayoritas baru sebatas penggunaan powerpoint. Guru-guru matematika masih menghadapi kesulitan dalam pembuatan media pembelajaran dan bahan ajar. Solusi yang ditawarkan adalah dengan memberikan pelatihan aplikasi GeoGebra kepada guru-guru matematika untuk membantu mereka dalam proses pembelajaran matematika. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah meningkatkan pemahaman guru tentang peranan media pembelajaran matematika dan meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan guru tentang media pembelajaran virtual (mathlet) yang baik dan eksploratif. Metode yang akan dilakukan dalam kegiatan ini adalah melalui beberapa tahap, yaitu observasi langsung, wawancara, presentasi, dan tanya jawab. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah guru dapat meningkatkan kualitas proses pembelajaran sesuai dengan ilmu yang diperoleh dalam pelatihan, guru lebih kreatif dan inovatif dalam menciptakan proses pembelajaran, guru memiliki pemahaman dan pengetahuan tentang media pembelajaran virtual, guru dapat menggunakan aplikasi GeoGebra untuk membuat media pembelajaran virtual, guru dapat membuat media visual, bahan ajar, dan instrumen penilaian yang berkaitan dengan materi aljabar dan geometri.Kata Kunci: GeoGebra, matematika, konstruktivisme, mathlet

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to develop iSpring software aided interactive learning against student retention on the concept of calculus II. This type of research is RnD research. The development procedure, will be divided into 4 parts, namely preliminary analysis, implementation and preparation of learning media, validation and revision, and small-scale trials (limited). The sampling technique that I use is to use simple random sampling. The results show that there is a positive influence, student retention on student learning achievement in learning calculus II.

Abstract

This research is a type of research and development which focuses on developing teaching materials for Basic Algebra courses which aim to improve understanding of mathematical concepts. Broadly speaking, the development model used in this study consists of 3 stages, namely the preliminary, development and evaluation stages. In the preliminary stage, the researcher conducted a literature study and analysis of course descriptions and identified teaching materials for Basic Algebra courses. The teaching materials developed are tested for validity, practicality and effectiveness. From the results of the module validation analysis, it was obtained 84.25 with good categories. The small scale trial obtained 38.7 with good category. The results of the analysis of the practicality of teaching materials during four meetings obtained an average score of 25.25 from the ideal score of 30 or 84.17 in the very good category. The result of the analysis of the effectiveness of the average score of the teaching profile of the lecturers using basic algebra teaching materials based on the maple-assisted scientific approach is 50.25 from the ideal score of 56 or 89.73% with the very good category. The average score of the learning activity profile of students who use basic algebra teaching materials based on the maple-assisted scientific approach is 44.5 from the ideal score of 52 or 85.58% in the very good category. From the analysis of the results of the test for understanding mathematical concepts, the total average is 0.58 with the moderate category, which can be concluded that the teaching materials for basic algebra courses with a scientific approach

Abstract

This study will discuss the education quality assurance in Indonesia through school accreditation. The methods used in this study are critical analysis and library methods. Quality assurance in education is a systematic and integrated activity performed by an educational unit or program and its practitioners, local and central governments and community in an effort to raise the level of the nation’s intelligence through education. School accreditation, a form of public accountability, is a comprehensive assessment of the feasibility of an educational program with reference to National Education Standards (SNP). Accreditation process is conducted by comparing the real condition of schools to the eight established criteria (standards). In practice, it is the sustainable application and development of these eight standards that lead to the quality education. The implementation of accreditation is expected to encourage or establish an atmosphere conducive to the educational development, to provide directions for conducting sustainable self-evaluation and to be an incentive to continuously achieve the desired quality that can indirectly assure the education quality.

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to know the different effect among learning model used i.e. Problem Based Learning, Think Aloud Pairs Problem Solving and Group Inverstigation models with scientific approach observed from students self concept and study creativity towards the ability of mathematics problem solving. This research used quasi experimental study with factorial design 3x2x3. The population of this research was the eighth grade student of State Junior High School of District Sragen Year of 2014/2015. The sampling technique used was stratified cluster random sampling. The data analysis used a three way analysis of variance with different cell at significance level of 0.05. The results of this research are : (1) PBL-S produces the same students ability of mathematics problem solving with TAPPS-S. Moreover, both produce the better students ability than GI-S. (2) Students with positive category of self concept produce the better ability of mathematics problem solving than students with negative category. (3) Students with high study creativity category produce the better ability of mathematics problem solving than the medium and low category. However, the students with medium and low study creativity category produce the same ability of mathematics problem solving. (4) In each learning models, both the students with positive and negative self concept have the same ability of mathematics problem solving. (5) In PBL-S and GI-S models, students with high, medium and low creativity have the same ability of mathematics problem solving. However, there is different ability between high and low creativity category in TAPPS-S model. (6) Students with positive and negative self concept have the same ability of mathematics problem solving in all study creativity categories (high, medium, low category). (7) At each learning models, students with positive and negative self concept and with high, medium and low creativity have the same ability of mathematics problem solving.Keywords : PBL, TAPPS, GI, Scientific Approach, Self Concept, Learning Creativity.

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to know the different effect among learning model used i.e contextual teaching and learning assisted learning disc with contextual approach, interactive disc, and conventional on the material dimensions three sub-chapters distance. If there is a difference, then the learning which is better. This study was conducted in SMA N 1 Banjarharjo. The sample in this research is class X3 and X5 as a class experiment and class X2 as the control class. Class experiments will be given treatments with different media while the control class will be given the conventional learning. In a preliminary analysis will be in the data normality test, homogeneity of data and ANOVA. While the final analysis will be tested for normality, homogeneity of data, ANOVA, one tails test and two tails test. The results showed that the average learning outcomes of students who get teaching CTL assisted learning disc contextual approach is better than students who received conventional learning and learning outcomes of students who received teaching CTL assisted interactive disc better than students who received conventional learning model, but in comparison used, showed that the use of the same model and assisted different disc in the experimental class there is no difference in the average student learning outcomes. In other words from the three media used no media is most favored because of the three media have advantages and disadvantages of each. Keywords: effectiveness, CTL, learning CD, CD interactive, learning outcomes

Abstract

This Community Service (PKM) aims at analyzing teachers’ difficulties in making interesting concept maps in the learning process namely teachers’ lack of understanding of various applications for making concept maps of subject matter, teachers’ difficulties in writing mathematical symbols used in creating learning instruments, as well as inadequate quality in the process of implementing learning activities. This PKM is located at Az-Zahra Kindergarten, Karawang, West Java. Data were collected by means of observation, interviews, and Zoom. The method used by the PKM team to solve problems was to provide training activities on a scheduled basis for one semester. The material presented was the introduction to and use of Mind Map and Math Type application software. The results of this PKM for partners are teachers’ ability to create interesting concept maps and the improvement of learning activities in education units. While the output for the PKM team is the fulfillment of responsibility stated in the Tri Dharma that must be carried out by lecturers indicated by receiving certificate from a partner.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the difficulties of learning what are the natural students of class XI SMA Batik 1 Surakarta on the material statistics the size of the central tendency of group data, what causes the difficulty of learning students class XI SMA Batik 1 Surakarta on the material statistics the size of the central tendency of group data and how the alternative Solving the results of the analysis of learning difficulties on the statistical matter of the size of the central tendency of group data. The method used is literature study. Alternative results for students who have difficulty in understanding the concept is to apply learning contextual approach is learning that aims to motivate students to understand the meaning of the material in the learning by associating with the context of everyday life such as knowing the average of a value of repetition, know mode (value Which many students get) from a repetition so that learning will be memoras and remembered by students and for students who have difficulty application of formulas and solutions is the alternative given is to multiply the exercise questions and need for the elaboration of what is known and can be from where. When students are accustomed to such things then students will be easy in applying the formula and solve the problem correctly.

Abstract

Perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi saat ini berkembang sangat pesat. Kemajuan akan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi telah berperan penting di dalam masyarakat. Oleh karena itu, dengan pemanfaatan teknologi khususnya smartphone dibuatlah sebuah aplikasi yang akan menampilkan informasi mengenai kebudayaan untuk membantu mengenalkan dan memberikan pengetahuan mengenai kebudayaan Indonesia khususnya budaya Indramayu. Dengan aplikasi pengenalan budaya Indramayu ini diharapkan dapat membantu masyarakat luas untuk mempelajari Bahasa dan budaya Indramayu di mana saja tanpa harus membawa buku. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif, yaitu suatu penelitian kontekstual yang menjadikan manusia sebagai instrumen, dan disesuaikan dengan situasi yang wajar dalam kaitannya dengan pengumpulan data yang pada umumnya bersifat kualitatif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjadikan aplikasi pengenalan budaya Indramayu sebagai solusi atas kurangnya pengetahuan masyarakat tentang budaya Indramayu agar masyarakat lebih mudah mempelajari budaya Indramayu dan generasi muda lebih minat untuk mempelajari dan melestarikan budaya Indramayu.

Abstract

Perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi saat ini berkembang sangat pesat. Kemajuan akan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi telah berperan penting di dalam masyarakat. Setiap waktu, setiap hari dan setiap detik selalu muncul teknologi baru. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk membuat sebuah aplikasi yang efektif bagi CV. Obet Cipta Usaha dalam penyewaan mobilnya. Aplikasi membantu perusahaan dalam mengelola data-data karyawan, supir, mobil dan transaksi dengan mudah sehingga proses penyewaan mobil lebih cepat dan efisien. Sehingga laporan data di atas dapat langsung di lihat pada aplikasi. Aplikasi ini juga membantu pelanggan untuk melakukan penyewaan mobil dan mengetahui informasi tentang ketersediaan mobil yang akan di sewa tanpa harus datang ke tempat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif, yaitu suatu penelitian kontekstual yang menjadikan manusia sebagai instrumen, dan disesuaikan dengan situasi yang wajar dalam kaitannya dengan pengumpulan data yang pada umumnya bersifat kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini berupa aplikasi yang digunakan dalam penyewaan mobil. Jadi peneliti ini telah berhasil membuat aplikasi penyedia jasa khusus rental mobil berbasis android yang bertujuan untuk membantu pengguna memudahkan dalam melakukan penyewaan mobil tanpa harus datang ke tempat.
