Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to know the different effect among learning model used i.e. Problem Based Learning, Think Aloud Pairs Problem Solving and Group Inverstigation models with scientific approach observed from students self concept and study creativity towards the ability of mathematics problem solving. This research used quasi experimental study with factorial design 3x2x3. The population of this research was the eighth grade student of State Junior High School of District Sragen Year of 2014/2015. The sampling technique used was stratified cluster random sampling. The data analysis used a three way analysis of variance with different cell at significance level of 0.05. The results of this research are : (1) PBL-S produces the same students ability of mathematics problem solving with TAPPS-S. Moreover, both produce the better students ability than GI-S. (2) Students with positive category of self concept produce the better ability of mathematics problem solving than students with negative category. (3) Students with high study creativity category produce the better ability of mathematics problem solving than the medium and low category. However, the students with medium and low study creativity category produce the same ability of mathematics problem solving. (4) In each learning models, both the students with positive and negative self concept have the same ability of mathematics problem solving. (5) In PBL-S and GI-S models, students with high, medium and low creativity have the same ability of mathematics problem solving. However, there is different ability between high and low creativity category in TAPPS-S model. (6) Students with positive and negative self concept have the same ability of mathematics problem solving in all study creativity categories (high, medium, low category). (7) At each learning models, students with positive and negative self concept and with high, medium and low creativity have the same ability of mathematics problem solving.Keywords : PBL, TAPPS, GI, Scientific Approach, Self Concept, Learning Creativity.

Abstract

The study aimed to describe the process of reflective thinking of students in solving mathematical problems in terms of the creativity of student learning high and medium categories. This type of research is qualitative. The qualitative method selected for determining the profile of reflective thinking of students in solving mathematical problems set in the natural and the main instrument is the researcher's own research. The results of the study obtained similarities and differences in students' reflective thinking processes are in high creativity and mathematical problem solving. During the preparation stage are the equation of student creativity and medium height, namely: the spirit of student responses when given KPM, after which students can express things that are known and asked is complete and correct. While the difference is high creativity Students understand the issues carefully. Differences reflective thinking processes and high creativity is about how students gather relevant information that will be used.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to develop iSpring software aided interactive learning against student retention on the concept of calculus II. This type of research is RnD research. The development procedure, will be divided into 4 parts, namely preliminary analysis, implementation and preparation of learning media, validation and revision, and small-scale trials (limited). The sampling technique that I use is to use simple random sampling. The results show that there is a positive influence, student retention on student learning achievement in learning calculus II.

Abstract

In general, the residents of RT 004 RW 03 have a level of education at the junior and senior high school levels. This is due to the economic factors and the absence of encouragement from parents for their children to continue their education to a higher level. Moreover, women who do not continue their education at school are unemployed or decide to become housewives, because they do not have the skills to live independently. Most of the mothers are only housewives who only take care of their children and husbands. This condition cannot improve the economic condition of the family that is not fixed and coupled with the high economic burden that requires each family to be able to think creatively in order to survive amid the economic pressure. The objectives of this community service activity included: Assisting women’s group of Family Welfare and Empowerment in the formation of business groups, assisting women’s group of Family Welfare and Empowerment on how to utilize and cultivate the broiler rabbits as a small entrepreneur. The implementation of this training activity was expected to help in fostering an entrepreneurial spirit in rabbit cultivation for underprivileged people through the formation of a small business group of women of Family Welfare and Empowerment and in the form of published scientific articles. Abstrak Warga masyarakat yang berada di RT 004 RW 03 pada umumnya adalah lulusan SMP dan SMU. Hal tersebut disebabkan oleh faktor ekonomi dan tidak adanya dorongan dari orang tua agar anak-anak mereka melanjutkan pendidikan ke jenjang yang lebih tinggi. Terlebih anak perempuan yang tidak melanjutkan sekolah akhirnya menganggur atau hidup berumah tangga, karena mereka tidak mempunyai bekal keterampilan untuk bisa hidup mandiri. Sebagian besar ibu-ibu hanya sebagai ibu rumah tangga yang hanya mengurusi anak dan suaminya. Kondisi ini tidak dapat memperbaiki kondisi ekonomi keluarga, penghasilan yang tidak tetap dan ditambah beban ekonomi yang tinggi menuntut setiap keluarga untuk dapat berfikir kreatif agar dapat bertahan hidup ditengah himpitan ekonomi. Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini antara lain: Membantu Ibu PKK dalam pembentukan kelompok usaha yang harus dibentuk, membantu Ibu PKK dalam cara pemanfaatan dan pengolahan kelinci pedaging sebagai wirusaha kecil. Diharapkan setelah kegiatan pelatihan ini dilaksanakan menumbuhkan semangat berwirausaha budidaya kelinci bagi masyarakat prasejahtera melalui pembentukan kelompok usaha kecil ibu PKK dan berupa luaran artikel ilmiah yang dipublikasikan.

Abstract

This study discusses the mathematical representation of students in terms of introvert and extrovert personality types. In order to see the characteristics of mathematical representation in solving mathematical problems if seen from the personality type of each student. This research method is descriptive qualitative. The number of schools and students sampled from this study was taken with gradual data collection techniques (multistage sampling). Problem solving analysis used based on Krulik and Rudnik steps. Extrovert student personality types and introverted students do have a different mindset so that even in a few steps using the same representation but the tendency or habit represents a problem solving using a different form of representation. Extrovert students' personality types represent them more symbolically and almost all answers from type extrovert student are close to true when compared to introverted students.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh minat belajar atau kebiasaan belajar pada statistika lanjut, pengaruh minat belajar dan kebiasaan belajar secara bersama-sama pada prestasi statistika lanjut. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Universitas Indraprasta PGRI. Sampel dalam penelitian adalah 5 kelas dari keseluruhan mahasiswa semester 5. Pada Analisis awal akan diuji normalitas, uji linieritas. Sedangkan analisis akhir akan diuji Regresi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa adanya pengaruh minat belajar dan kebiasaan belajar secara bersama-sama terhadap prestasi belajar statistik lanjut, Adanya pengaruh minat belajar terhadap prestasi belajar statistik lanjut namun tidak adanya pengaruh kebiasaan belajar terhadap prestasi belajar statistik lanjut

Abstract

This research aims to develop and produce constructivism based learning device using interactive multimedia to teach the valid mathematics concepts of SMP (feasible) and to know the effectiveness of constructivism based learning devices using interactive multimedia to teach math concepts. The sampling technique in this product testing experiment used simple random sampling because the sampling of sample members from the population is done randomly without considering the strata in the population. The result of research is process and result of development of learning device based on cosntruktivisme with interactive multimedia to teach mathematics concept of junior high school students valid. Mathematical learning based on constructivism using interactive multimedia to teach the concept of SMP mathematics is more effective than conventional learning on the matter of building flat side space.Keywords: Development of learning tools, constructivism, interactive multimedia, Concepts.

Abstract

Berdasarkan diskusi dengan beberapa guru matematika SMP, diperoleh data bahwa pemanfaatan komputer dalam pembelajaran baru sebatas penggunaan powerpoint sehingga guru-guru matematika SMP masih menghadapi kesulitan dalam pembuatan media pembelajaran, bahan ajar, maupun instrumen penilaian hasil belajar matematika yang baik dan benar. Solusi yang ditawarkan adalah dengan memberikan pelatihan aplikasi Cabri 3D berbantu Camtasia Studio kepada guru-guru matematika SMP untuk membantu guru-guru tersebut dalam proses pembelajaran matematika berbasis konstruktivisme. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah meningkatkan pemahaman guru tentang peranan media pembelajaran pada umumnya dalam pembelajaran matematika, meningkatkan pengetahuan guru tentang media pembelajaran virtual (mathlet) yang baik. Metode yang akan dilakukan dalam kegiatan ini adalah melalui beberapa tahap, yaitu observasi langsung, wawancara, presentasi, dan tanya jawab. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah guru dapat meningkatkan kualitas proses pembelajaran sesuai dengan ilmu yang diperoleh dalam pelatihan, guru lebih kreatif dan inovatif dalam menciptakan proses pembelajaran tentang media pembelajaran virtual, guru dapat menggunakan aplikasi Cabri 3D berbantu Camtasia Studio untuk membuat media pembelajaran virtual, guru dapat membuat media visual, bahan ajar, dan instrumen penilaian yang berkaitan dengan materi geometri.

Abstract

Seorang guru memiliki kewajiban untuk menularkan ilmu kepada peserta didiknya. Selain itu guru harus memiliki data terkait dengan peserta didiknya. Akan tetapi dalam melaksanakan kewajibannya ada beberapa permasalahan yang dihadapi guru di SDN 01 Setu, diantaranya: 1. Guru dituntut membuat Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP) dan Silabus terlebih dahulu sebelum melakukan pembelajaran. 2. Guru harus melakukan penilaian terhadap peserta didik, sehingga guru wajib menguasai management dan pengelolaan database. 3. Setiap peserta didik memiliki karakteristik yang berbeda dalam belajar, oleh karena itu guru dituntut mampu untuk mengembangkan media yang tepat untuk supaya peserta didik mudah memahaminya. Dalam kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini, Tim PKM memberikan salah satu solusi untuk membantu permasalahan Mitra yaitu Guru di SDN 01 Setu. Di mana solusi merupakan tujuan utama dari kegiatan PKM. Solusi tersebut adalah memberikan pelatihan Microsoft Excel untuk meningkatkan kemampuan dan kecakapan Guru dalam melakukan pengelolaan database. Kegiatan PKM ini memang lebih difokuskan pada permasalahan ke dua. Hal ini dikarenakan untuk permasalahan lainnya akan diselesaikan/ diberikan solusinya pada kegiatan PKM selanjutnya.
