Abstract

This research aims to identify strategies in realizing an intelligent community in Nagari Batu Basa in responding to hoax issues on Facebook social media. The study aims to describe the attitudes of the Nagari Batu Basa community toward hoax issues on Facebook social media and to identify the strategies employed in providing media literacy to the Nagari Batu Basa community exposed to hoax issues on Facebook social media. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach. Informant data were obtained using purposive sampling, selecting informants based on specific considerations, resulting in 7 informants. Data collection techniques included media observation, direct interviews to obtain clear and concrete data regarding the attitudes of the Nagari Batu Basa community in responding to hoax issues on Facebook social media. Documentation was directly taken from the issues present on Facebook. The results of the research found an intelligent media-savvy community as they were able to apply most of the E 8 model, which involves identifying issues visible on social media, seeking relevant information from various sites, selecting reliable sources, discussing with those knowledgeable about the circulating issues, and then sharing back to the public if the issue is deemed beneficial to many people. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi strategi Mewujudkan Masyarakat Nagari Batu Basa Cerdas Dalam Menyikapi Isu Hoax di Media Sosial Facebook. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan sikap masyarakat Nagari Batu Basa terhadap Isu hoax di media sosial Facebook dan untuk mengidentifikasi strategi yang dilakukan dalam memberikan literasi terhadap masyarakat Nagari Batu Basa yang terpapar Isu hoax di media sosial Facebook Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Data informan didapatkan dengan metode purposive sampling, yaitu memilih informan berdasarkan pertimbangan tertentu sehingga didapatkan 7 informan. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara observasi media, wawancara (interview) secara langsung guna memperoleh dan menggali data secara jelas dan konkret mengenai sikap masyarakat Nagari Batu Basa dalam menyikapi Isu hoax di media sosial Facebook. Dokumentasi yang dilakukan diambil langsung dari Isu yang ada di Facebook. Hasil dari penelitian yang dilakukan ditemukan masyarakat yang cerdas bermedia karena telah mampu mengaplikasikan sebagian besar dari model E 8, yakni mengidentifikasi terlebih dahulu isu yang tampak di media social, mencari informasi yang relevan dari beberapa situs, memilih sumber terpercaya, mendiskusikan kepada orang yang paham tentang isu yang beredar, kemudian men share kembali ke public jika isu tersebut dianggap bermanfaat bagi banyak orang.

Abstract

Kemampuan dalam menghasilkan media pembelajaran berbasis digital menjadi kebutuhan utama di era teknologi pendidikan saat ini. Artikel ini membahas pelaksanaan pelatihan pembuatan video pembelajaran interaktif yang ditujukan kepada mahasiswa Fakultas Tarbiyah UIN Mahmud Yunus Batusangkar. Tujuan pelatihan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kompetensi mahasiswa dalam merancang, merekam, dan mengedit video pembelajaran yang menarik dan sesuai dengan prinsip pembelajaran interaktif. Pelatihan ini menggunakan pendekatan praktik langsung dengan integrasi perangkat lunak seperti Canva, CapCut, dan PowerPoint interaktif. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa mampu menghasilkan produk video pembelajaran yang kreatif dan layak digunakan dalam praktik mengajar. Kegiatan ini juga membentuk sikap positif mahasiswa terhadap penggunaan teknologi dalam pembelajaran.

Abstract

The use of technology and the internet has also had a big impact on the field of education, especially in the daily learning process. The increasingly sophisticated development of technology today means that teachers and students can search for materials and teaching materials from anywhere, at any time, and from anyone. Education today tends to be flexible, more open, and easily accessible to anyone who needs it regardless of status, position or profession, a person's gender status, be it male or female, a person's age, whether a child, old person, teenager, or person. Adults, or educational experiences, and will continue to grow in the form of online learning systems. One of them is that school information media is used as a learning medium to hone teachers' skills, especially in writing. Teachers can apply citizen journalism. In this research, the researcher focused on two objectives, namely, The Role of Teacher Writing in the Citizen Journalism Process for managing school information media and The Role of Teacher Writing in the Citizen Journalism Process for managing school information media. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative approach. The results of this research illustrate the role of SMKN 4 Payakumbuh teachers in managing school information media through citizen journalism, which is not just information but also a medium for learning and honing skills for teachers.

Abstract

Improving skills should be a concern for educators to support student abilities, but not all educators pay attention to the importance of improving skills. One of them is in terms of writing for teachers at the Vocational High School level. At Vocational High School in Payakumbuh, which is a Vocational School that has majors including Computer Network Engineering, Multimedia, and Software Engineering (Broadcasting), with the sophistication of this IT-based school, of course, it already has facilities in the field of Information and Communication Technology that are qualified. The type of research used is in the form of School Action Research (PTS). School Action Research is an amalgamation of action research. Action research was developed with the intention of finding solutions to social problems. Action research begins with a systematic study of a problem. The results of the study are used as the basis for developing a work plan (action) in an effort to overcome the problem. The conclusion obtained from the research on improving the writing ability of Vocational High School in Payakumbuh teachers through blog-based autobiographical techniques is that there is an increase in the writing ability of Vocational High School in Payakumbuh teachers after attending a workshop on blog-based autobiographical techniques. Teachers' motivation to improve their writing skills also increased, and enthusiasm for using blog or website media to be more optimized.

Abstract

Contemporary da'wah demands approaches that align with the development of technology and the culture of digital communication. TikTok, as a short-form video-based social media platform, has become a new space for preachers (da'i) to convey Islamic messages that are relevant to the lives of the younger generation. The TikTok account @kadamsidik00 actively utilizes this medium to deliver da'wah in the form of reflective, educational, and inspirational content. This article aims to analyze the communication effects of contemporary da'wah messages delivered by this account on the cognitive, affective, and conative changes of students in the QurÔÇÖanic and Tafsir Studies Program (IAT) at UIN Mahmud Yunus Batusangkar. The approach used is descriptive qualitative. The results show that contemporary da'wah messages through TikTok can enhance studentsÔÇÖ Islamic understanding (cognitive), shape positive religious attitudes and spirituality (affective), and encourage more active religious practices (conative).

Abstract

Foto jurnalistik tidak bisa dilepaskan dari media massa karena perkembangan media massa, baik cetak, elektronik maupun online, memicu setiap orang untuk membuat dan mendapatkan foto yang bagus dari media pilihannya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif yang bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan kejadian atau fakta, keadaan, fenomena yang terjadi pada saat penelitian berlangsung. Informan penelitian adalah wartawan Pos Metro Padang. Teknik pengumpulan data yang peneliti gunakan adalah observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. sedangkan keabsahan data menggunakan metode triangulasi sumber. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa foto jurnalistik di Pos Metro Padang bersifat aktual, memberikan informasi, mangandung unsur kebaruan, memiliki keaslian yang tinggi serta memberikan respon terhadap masyarakat. Jurnalis Pos Metro Padang mengutamakan kepentinagn umun dari pada kepentingan instansi, karena berita yang diperoleh bersumber dari masyarakat dan dipublikasikan untuk masyarakat itu sendiri.

Abstract

Pokok permasalahan dalam skripsi ini adalah analisis budaya Minangkabau dalam film merantau. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui budaya marantau dalam tambo Minangkabau dan untuk mendeskripsikan budaya marantau dalam film marantau. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada film marantau. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian dengan melakukan observasi film marantau dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Intrumen dalam penelitian ini adalah peneliti sendiri. Metode pengumpulan data yang penulis gunakan yaitu dengan observasi, dokumentasi dan studi kepustakaan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ditemukan bahwa Budaya merantau Minangkabau menurut Tambo Minagkabau adalah suatu kebiasaan yang dilakukan oleh orang Minangkabau secara turun temurun mulai dari zaman nenek moyang sampai saat sekaranag ini baik oleh laki-laki maupun perempuan, sebagai bentuk pembuktian kemandirian diri dengan tujuan bekerja untuk memperbaiki ekonomi. Pentingnya ekonomi ini membuat orang Minangkabau banyak pergi merantau ke daerah lainnya. Budaya marantau  yang ditampilkan didalam film marantau berdasarkan adegan yang terdapat didalam film marantau hanya secara umum saja, namun terdapat faktor pendorong tokoh utama dalam merantau ialah untuk melestarikan budaya Minangkabau dalam mencari nafkah di perantauan yaitu dengan keinginan mengajarkan silat dan menerapkan budaya Minangkabau dalam merantau dengan mengemukakan sikap tolong-menolong, serta gigih dan tidak mau menyerah dengan keadaan.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how the use of smartphone media in Class VI students of SD Negeri 16 in supayang. The problem discussed in this study is the use of smartphone media in students of class VI in SD Negeri 16 supayang. The background to raising this issue is that many grade VI elementary school students in Nagari Agarng use smartphones to play online games such as pubg, mobile legend, and freefire and some use smartphones to play tiktok and Instagram. The type of research used is field research. To obtain data from the problems studied, the data collection technique used by researchers is through observation, interviews and documentation. From the research conducted by researchers in the field, it can be concluded that the use of smartphone media in students /I grade VI public elementary school 16 nagari agarng as a medium of information, giving personal identity, social interaction and integration.

Abstract

The main issue in this research is that children have packed daily schedules, ranging from full-day school to Quranic recitation at the surau (Islamic prayer house). The perception of children, as expressed by their parents, regarding the lack of playtime as an important part of child development is a serious concern. Therefore, in-depth research is needed on how the community views the revitalization of Surau Lakuak as an Islamic da'wah institution that can support children's development in spiritual and social aspects. The purpose of this discussion is to determine the community's perception of the revitalization of Surau Lakuak as an Islamic da'wah institution and the supporting and inhibiting factors in the revitalization of Surau Lakuak. The type of research used by the author is descriptive qualitative research, to obtain data from the problems studied. The data collection techniques used were observation of activities at Surau Lakuak, interviews with the surrounding community, pioneers, teachers, jorong (hamlet) leaders, and Surau Lakuak congregation, as well as documentation of activities at Surau Lakuak. This research shows that the revitalization of Surau Lakuak has had a positive impact on the religious and social life of the community, with the community having a positive perception of the increasingly active role of the surau in religious activities and religious education. The discussion reveals that the main supporting factors are community participation and contributions from overseas residents, although there are challenges such as limited road access and a shortage of teaching staff. In conclusion, the revitalization of Surau Lakuak can continue to develop with ongoing support, providing significant benefits to the community in increasing spiritual awareness and strengthening social solidarity.

Abstract

The weaving center holds both cultural and economic value, yet its marketing remains limited due to less appealing promotional content and restricted digital access. This community service program applies the Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) approach to explore local potential, weaving skills, socio-cultural networks, and available digital tools. Together with the artisans, the team developed a digital marketing vision, produced photo and video content, created digital and printed catalogs, conducted social media training, and implemented personal selling simulations. After implementation, the artisans now have active social media accounts, are able to produce aesthetic visual content, and have begun using both digital and printed catalogs. Digital promotion activities have increased, accompanied by a shift in attitude toward technology-based marketing. The combination of ABCD and digital strategies proves effective in strengthening the competitiveness of traditional woven products. For sustainability, improvements in packaging, brand identity, network expansion, and long-term monitoring are needed
