Abstract

This study aims to analyze the arrangement of classroom facilities in supporting the learning process at SMA Negeri 1 Tanjung Batu Ogan Ilir. The type of qualitative research with a descriptive approach. There were 4 informants, with data collection methods through interviews, observations and documentation. Data analysis techniques through data collection, presentation and verification and conclusions. Data validity checking techniques through triangulation. The results and discussions stated that the arrangement of classroom facilities at SMA Negeri 1 Tanjung Batu Ogan Ilir had been carried out quite well, namely the availability of adequate learning facilities in each class, orderly and comfortable room arrangement for students, and the use of facilities such as whiteboards, LCD projectors, and other learning equipment that support the learning process. This arrangement provides a conducive learning atmosphere and increases student involvement in teaching and learning activities.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the increasing competition among educational institutions, particularly in the city of Palembang, which compels schools to develop effective marketing strategies in order to maintain their existence and increase the number of new student enrollments each year. The aim of this study is to describe the planning of educational marketing in attracting new students at SMP Islam Cendikia Faiha Palembang. This study employs a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and documentation. The informants in this study consist of the principal as the key informant, as well as the vice principal for curriculum and teachers as supporting informants. The data analysis technique involves data collection, data presentation, verification, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study show that the educational marketing planning at SMP Islam Cendikia Faiha Palembang is carried out through four main stages: determining the targets and objectives for new student admissions, formulating the current condition of the school, identifying internal strengths and obstacles, and developing a strategic plan to achieve the set goals. The strategies implemented include promotion through social media, brochure distribution, collaboration with elementary schools, and organizing open house events. The entire planning process is conducted collaboratively and participatively, involving the principal, foundation, teachers, and school staff.

Abstract

Maintenance of educational facilities and infrastructure involves managing and organizing these resources to ensure they are always in good condition and ready for use to achieve educational goals. This research aims to investigate the maintenance of classroom facilities and infrastructure at SMP Negeri 5 Satu Atap Pangkalan Lampam. The type of research used is qualitative, with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and documentation. The techniques used in data analysis are data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The validity of the data in this research is ensured through time triangulation, technique triangulation, and source triangulation. The results indicate that the maintenance of classroom facilities and infrastructure at SMP Negeri 5 Satu Atap Pangkalan Lampam is quite good. This is evident from the awareness, understanding, organization, implementation, and documentation aspects. Supporting factors include adequate funding and good cooperation between teachers and students in classroom maintenance activities. The inhibiting factors are mainly due to a lack of awareness and understanding among students regarding the maintenance of classroom facilities and infrastructure.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the zonation system for new student admissions at SMA Negeri 13 Palembang. The research adopts a qualitative approach with a descriptive research design. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation, data verification, and conclusion drawing. The validity of the data in this research was ensured through source triangulation and technique triangulation. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of the zonation system for new student admissions at SMA Negeri 13 Palembang has been carried out effectively. This can be observed through the execution of several key indicators in the new student admission process, including analyzing student needs, registering prospective students, selecting students, determining accepted students, and re-registration. The overall process of implementing the zonation system for new student admissions has been well-organized and effectively managed

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the leadership style of the OSIM Chairperson in student organization activities and the impact of the leadership style on student organization activities at MTs Negeri 1 Kota Palembang. This is qualitative research utilizing interviews with a fieldwork approach. The research informants include the OSIM Chairperson, Vice Chairperson, OSIM Advisor, teachers, and students. Data collection techniques employed are observation, interviews, and documentation. Data processing and analysis are carried out in three stages: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Data validity was tested through triangulation methods, including source, technique, and time triangulation. The results show that the leadership style of the OSIM Chairperson in student organization activities at MTs Negeri 1 Kota Palembang is effective. This is evident in the active participation of the Chairperson in every organized activity. The Chairperson must exhibit fairness in decision-making through deliberation with members. This approach enables the Chairperson to motivate team members, fostering a sense of mutual assistance and emotional control among them.

Abstract

The inventory of educational facilities and infrastructure involves the systematic and orderly registration of school-owned items into the inventory system. This process is important as it helps schools identify deficiencies and surpluses in facilities. This study aims to examine the process of inventorying educational facilities and infrastructure at SMP Negeri 50 Palembang. The research employs a qualitative method with a descriptive qualitative approach, using data collection techniques such as interviews, observations, and documentation. The data analysis techniques used in this study include data reduction, data display, and data verification. Data validity was tested using source triangulation and technique triangulation. The findings show that the inventory process for facilities and infrastructure is carried out properly according to procedures, with a computerized system supporting the inventory activities at SMP Negeri 50 Palembang. However, there are some challenges in the inventory activities, such as a lack of human resources skilled in coding due to overlapping work systems and a complicated coding system, which makes data retrieval difficult
