Abstract

The prevalence of primary dysmenorrhea in Indonesia is 54.89%. Primary dysmenorrhea has a major impact on school-aged adolescents because it disrupts daily activities. Based on UKS data from January to June 2023, 7.8% of female students visited because of menstrual pain. This research was conducted to determine the relationship between fast food consumption, physical activity and stress levels with the degree of primary dysmenorrhea. This type of research is analytical observational using a cross sectional design. The research was carried out at SMPN 1 Kandangan with a population of 178 and a sample of 45 female students, taken using a simple random sampling method using a spinner tool Data on the degree of dysmenorrhea were obtained through a questionnaire, stress levels through the PSS-10 questionnaire, fast food consumption through interviews using the SQ-FFQ questionnaire and physical activity obtained through the PAL questionnaire. Data analysis used the Spearman Rank correlation test. This research shows that 40% of female students experience grade 1 dysmenorrhea, 57.8% have the habit of frequently consuming fast food, 46.7% have moderate physical activity and 53.3% experience moderate levels of stress. There is a relationship between fast food (ρ = 0.012), physical activity (ρ = 0.002) and the degree of primary dysmenorrhea and there is no relationship between stress levels (ρ = 0.654) and the degree of primary dysmenorrhea.

Abstract

Posyandu plays a crucial role in bringing promotive and preventive efforts closer to the community, especially in improving nutritional status and maternal and child health. However, low community participation in visiting Posyandu remains an issue in the working area of the Sambung Makmur Community Health Center. This study aims to analyze the factors influencing toddler visits to Posyandu in this area. This research employs a cross-sectional approach. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling, with a total of 76 respondents from 305—mothers with toddlers aged 12–59 months registered at five Posyandu in the working area of the Sambung Makmur Community Health Center. Data were collected through interviews using a questionnaire that measured variables such as the mother's knowledge level, employment status, family support, and toddler visits to Posyandu. Bivariate analysis showed that the mother's knowledge level (p-value = 0.000, correlation coefficient 0.529), the mother's employment status (p-value = 0.000, correlation coefficient 0.547), and family support (p-value = 0.000, correlation coefficient 0.549) all had significant relationships with the frequency of toddler visits to Posyandu. These findings indicate the importance of improving maternal knowledge, considering maternal employment status, and strengthening family support to increase toddler visits to Posyandu.

Abstract

Stunting is a problem of chronic malnutrition caused by insufficient nutritional intake over a long period of time due to intake that is not in accordance with nutritional needs.  Stunting can occur from the fetus in the womb and only appears when the child is two years old.  Nutritional status not only describes the problem of deficiencies in certain nutrients, but is also related to the level of health and chronic diseases a person has.  This research aims to determine the relationship between maternal education, exclusive breastfeeding and a history of infectious diseases with the incidence of stunting in toddlers in the working area of the Teluk Tiram Community Health Center, Banjarmasin.  This type of analytical observational research with a cross sectional design.  The population in this study were all mothers of toddlers in Teluk Tiram Village, totaling 770 toddlers.  Samples were taken using accidental sampling of 20 people.  Primary data in the form of respondent characteristics, mother's education level, exclusive breastfeeding and history of infectious diseases were obtained through interviews using questionnaires and nutritional status was obtained by anthropometric measurements (PB/U or TB/U).  Data analysis using the Spearman's rho test. The results of research using the Spearman's rho test showed that there was no relationship between maternal education and the incidence of stunting (p=0.652), there was no relationship between exclusive breastfeeding and the incidence of stunting (p=0.126) and there was no relationship between a history of infectious diseases.  with the incidence of stunting (p=0.643).

Abstract

Asting, a condition characterized by low body weight in toddlers, has a prevalence of 28.94% in Martapura Timur District. This study aimed to explore the relationship between income, food availability, and consumption patterns as factors contributing to wasting among toddlers aged 12-59 months. Using a Cross-Sectional design, data were collected from 45 purposively sampled toddlers through questionnaires, food availability forms, and food frequency forms. Spearman Rank correlation (α=0.05) was employed for data analysis. Findings revealed that most mothers were under 20 or over 35 years old, with junior high school education and predominantly unemployed. Male toddlers were slightly more prevalent, with 82.2% classified as wasting and 17.8% in severe wasting. Low family income (below the minimum wage) was common (71.1%), and food availability ranged from insufficient to barely sufficient. Consumption patterns were largely suboptimal (64.4%), with staple food intake (<150 g/day) limited to rice and corn, animal protein (50 g/day) from eggs only, plant protein (<40 g/day) primarily from tofu, and minimum vegetable consumption (30 g/week of pumpkin, 1-3 times weekly). Statistical analysis indicated significant relationships between family income (p=0.048, r=0.296), food availability (p=0.048, r=0.296), and consumption patterns (ρ=0.002, r=0.455) with wasting. The strongest relationship was found in food availability. Efforts are being made to increase awareness through health centers, encouraging mothers to utilize home yards for food production, enhancing food availability, and improving children's diets. Addressing these factors can help reduce the prevalence of wasting and promote better nutrition in toddlers.

Abstract

Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru dalam merancang Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP) dan modul ajar sesuai prinsip Kurikulum Merdeka. Fokus utamanya adalah membantu guru dalam memahami konsep tersebut dan mempraktikannya dalam merancang perangkat ajar. Kegiatan ini dilakukan dalam dua tahap, yaitu persiapan dan pelaksanaan. Pada tahap persiapan, disusun materi pendukung berupa panduan penyusunan RPP dan modul ajar beserta dokumen penunjangnya. Pada tahap pelaksanaan, diterapkan metode ceramah untuk memberikan penjelasan teoritis, demonstrasi untuk menunjukkan langkah penyusunannya, serta praktik langsung bagi peserta untuk mengaplikasikan pemahaman mereka. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam kemampuan guru, yang terbukti dari kemampuan mereka menyusun RPP dan modul ajar yang relevan, kreatif, dan sesuai dengan kebutuhan siswa. Pendampingan ini tidak hanya efektif dalam menjembatani teori dan praktik, tetapi juga berkontribusi pada penguatan kualitas pembelajaran dan model ini dapat direplikasi dalam berbagai konteks Pendidikan.

Abstract

Diare masih menjadi masalah utama dalam kesehatan masyarakat, terutama di lingkungan pesantren yang memiliki kepadatan penghuni dan keterbatasan fasilitas sanitasi. Rendahnya perilaku higiene dan sanitasi pada penjamah makanan dan santri diduga berkontribusi terhadap tingginya angka kejadian diare. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara tingkat pengetahuan dan sikap dengan perilaku higiene dan sanitasi pada penjamah makanan dan santri di Asrama Putra Pondok Pesantren Ummul Qura Amuntai. Penelitian menggunakan desain cross-sectional dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Sampel terdiri dari 5 penjamah makanan yang diambil secara total sampling dan 58 santri melalui proportionate stratified random sampling. Variabel independen meliputi tingkat pengetahuan dan sikap, sedangkan variabel dependen adalah perilaku higiene dan sanitasi. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa kuesioner dan lembar observasi. Data santri dianalisis menggunakan uji korelasi Rank Spearman, sedangkan data penjamah makanan dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat hubungan signifikan antara tingkat pengetahuan (p = 0,000) dan sikap (p = 0,000) dengan perilaku higiene dan sanitasi pada santri (p < 0,05). Pada penjamah makanan, peningkatan pengetahuan berasosiasi dengan perilaku higiene dan sanitasi yang lebih baik, meskipun sikap yang cukup positif belum sepenuhnya diikuti oleh perilaku yang konsisten. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa pengetahuan dan sikap berpengaruh signifikan terhadap perilaku higiene dan sanitasi. Oleh karena itu, edukasi dan pelatihan berkelanjutan sangat penting untuk memperbaiki dan mempertahankan perilaku higiene dan sanitasi pada penjamah makanan dan santri guna mencegah diare di lingkungan pesantren.

Abstract

Indonesia is currently focusing on improving nutrition at every stage of life, including adolescents who are vulnerable to nutritional status issues influenced by factors such as body image, gender, dietary patterns, and attitudes. In Banjar Regency, 30.11% of adolescents experience nutritional problems such as severely underweight, underweight, overweight, and obesity. This study aims to determine the relationship between these factors and the nutritional status of adolescents at Senior High School 2 Martapura. This research employed a cross-sectional design with a sample of 103 adolescents selected from a population of 814 using proportional random sampling. Data were collected through questionnaires and measurements of body weight and height. The results showed that most adolescents had normal nutritional status (64.1%), positive body image (60.2%), inadequate dietary patterns (62.1%), and positive attitudes (50.5%). Based on Fisher’s Exact test (?<0.05), gender showed a significant relationship with nutritional status (p = 0.039), and based on the Spearman Rank correlation test (?<0.05), dietary patterns were also significantly related to nutritional status (p = 0.020). However, body image (p = 0.667) and attitudes (p = 0.137) were not significantly related to nutritional status. Health institutions and schools are expected to actively monitor and provide nutrition education, while adolescents are encouraged to adopt balanced dietary patterns. Future researchers are advised to examine other factors affecting nutritional status.

Abstract

Balita adalah orang yang rentan terkena masalah gizi salah satunya adalah wasting karena pada usia tersebut mereka sudah mulai mengenal dan mengikuti pola makan orang dewasa. Wasting merupakan masalah gizi yang terjadi pada balita di usia 0-59 bulan. Balita yang mengalami ini umumnya memiliki berat badan yang tidak sesuai dengan tinggi badannya. Wasting juga di sebabkan oleh beberapa faktor yang sangat komplek mulai dari rumah tangga, lingkungan, pengaruh masyarakat, sosial ekonomi budaya, bahkan praktik pemberian makan anak serta adanya penyakit infeksi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara pengetahuan, pola asuh ibu dan sanitasi lingkungan dengan kejadian wasting pada balita di Wilayah Kerja Puskemas Martapura Barat Kabupaten Banjar. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan observasional analitik dengan rancangan cross sectional. Populasi adalah balita usia 0-59 bulan dengan sampel penelitian 101 orang yang diambil menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Variabel penelitian ini yaitu pengetahuan ibu, pola asuh, sanitasi lingkungan dan kejadian wasting. Pengambilan data dengan cara kuesioner dan wawancara serta analisis data menggunakan uji Chi-Square. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan 43,6% balita mengalami wasting, 58,4% pengetahuan ibu kurang, 60,4% pola asuh cukup dan 50,5% sanitasi lingkungan kurang baik. Penelitian menunjukkan ada hubungan pengetahuan ibu (r<0,000), pola asuh (r<0,008), dan sanitasi lingkungan (r<0,000) dengan kejadian wasting. Bagi ibu atau orang tua harus memperhatikan pemenuhan gizi balita, memanfaatkan pengetahuan yang ada untuk dapat mengolah dan memilih makanan yang bergizi dan berkualitas baik serta menentukan jenis makanan dan jumlah makanan dan jadwal makan sesuai dengan kebutuhan anak seusianya, yang terpenting pemenuhan nutrisi dengan prinsip gizi seimbang dan beragam.

Abstract

Balita adalah kelompok yang rentan masalah gizi salah satunya adalah stunting karena pada usia tersebut mereka mulai mengenal dan mengikuti pola makan orang dewasa. Stunting disebabkan oleh faktor yang sangat komplek yaitu ketahanan pangan, pengetahuan ibu, pola asuh, pelayanan kesehatan, pengetahuan keluarga, berat badan lahir, penyakit infeksi, dan asi ekslusif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara pemberian makanan, pemberian asi esklusif dan bblr dengan kejadian stunting pada balita di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Pugaan Kabupaten Tabalong. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan observasional analitik dengan rancangan kasus kontrol. Populasi adalah balita usia 24-59 bulan dengan sampel penelitian 82 orang yang diambil menggunakan dengan teknik purposive sampling. Variabel penelitian ini yaitu pemberian makanan, pemberian asi esklusif, bblr dan kejadian stunting. Pengambilan data dengan cara kuesioner dan wawancara serta analisis data menggunakan uji Chi-Square. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan 95,2% pemberian makanan kurang tepat pada balita stunting dan 2,4% pada balita tidak stunting. Terdapat 41,5% ASI Ekslusif pada balita stunting dan 68,3% pada balita tidak stunting. Terdapat 24,4% balita yang mengalami BBLR pada balita stunting dan 14,6% pada balita tidak stunting. Ada hubungan pemberian makanan, dan pemberian ASI Ekslusif dengan kejadian stunting. Tidak ada hubungan berat badan lahir dengan kejadian stunting. Diharapkan kepada ibu balita sering mengikuti penyuluhan-penyuluhan di posyandu dan di puskesmas, ataupun mencari informasi tentang stunting di media sosial.
