Abstract

Abstrak: Hubungan Masa Kerja dan Penggunaan APD Terhadap Bisinosis Pada Pekerja Tekstil. Bisinosis termasuk permasalahan yang serius di negara berkembang karena prevalensinya yang cukup tinggi yakni 30-50%. Masa kerja ialah jangka waktu seorang pekerja yang bekerja pada suatu instansi yang dapat mempengaruhi kondisi kesehatan tenaga kerja jika lingkungan kerja dipenuhi dengan hazard penyebab penyakit akibat kerja jika intensitas terpaparnya cukup lama. Masker adalahjenis APD yang diperlukan oleh pekerja pabrik tekstil karena memiliki fungsi melindungi organ pernapasan dari paparan partikel nano. Jika masa kerja yang berisiko di imbangi dengan penggunaan masker yang sesuai dapat mengurangi timbulnya penyakit akibat kerja seperti bisinosis.  Tujuan penelitiannya ini ialah guna menganalisis hubungan dari masa kerja dan penggunaan APD terhadap bisinosis pada pekerja tekstil. Penelitiannya ini dilakukan memakai observasional analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional dengan jumlah 86 sampel. Pengambilan sampel penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan wawancara. Uji statistika memakai uji CHI-SQUARE. Hasil uji chi square hubungan masa kerja dengan bisinosis memperlihatkan nilainya signifikan (p-value) sebesar 0,048(p<0,05), hasil signifikan juga didapatkan dari hubungan penggunaan APD dengan bisinosis yakni (p-value) sejumlah 0,001(p<0,05), yang maknanya dari variabel yang diuji dijumpai hubungan signifikan. Ada hubungan signifikan dari masa kerja dan penggunaan APD pada bisinosis pada pekerja tekstil, yang mana kian lama masa kerja maka akan kian besarkemungkinan terkena bisinosis begitu pula dengan penggunaan APD jika pekerja menggunakan APD maka akan semakin sedikit kemungkinan untuk terkena bisinosis.

Abstract

Aims: This study aimed to identify the correlation between the length and the period of Work correlated with the incidence of carpal tunnel syndrome among cigarette rolling workers at the Breadfruit Factory. Methods: This is an analytic observational study with a cross-sectional method. It utilizes the sample selection method of purposive sampling. The information collection tool consists of questions covering personal information, length of service, and physical examination sheets. Statistical test implemented with Chi-square. Results: The number of cigarette rolling workers used as the sample for this study was 103 people. The statistical test results applying chi-square work duration obtained p-value = 0.005 (p ≤0.05), a p-value of 0.000 (p ≤0.05) was obtained for years of service, indicating a correlation between length of Work and working time with the possible occurrence of Carpal Tunnel Syndrome (CTS) in workers. Conclusion: There is a significant correlation between length of Work and duration of Work on the emergence of CTS symptoms. As a form of prevention, occupational health and safety nurses can provide adequate education to cigarette companies to pay attention to employee conditions and the possibility of health problems occurring for their employees.

Abstract

Setiap orang atau individu dapat melindungi diri dari serangan virus corona, salah satunya dengan rajin membersihkan tangan dengan sabun atau hand sanitizer. Ahli kesehatan menganjurkan untuk mencuci tangan dengan sabun dan air mengalir selama 15-30 detik. Pusat Pengendalian dan Pencegahan Penyakit (CDC) menganjurkan perbanyak busa saat mencuci tangan dengan sabun karena gesekannya dapat membantu mengangkat kotoran dan minyak dari kulit. Untuk memfasilitasi masyarakat dalam menjaga kebersihan dengan mencuci tangan, maka perlu di desain dan bangun sebuah alat cuci tangan yang mobile atau bisa di pindah-pindah serta kapasitas tangki yang besar serta beberapa krain air agar masyarakat tidak antri dalam mencuci tangan. Alat cuci tangan ini  dinamakan mobile hand washer (MHW). Alat ini akan didistribusikan ke berbagai tempat pelayanan publik yang diantaranya seperiti rumah ibadah, pelabuhan penyebranagan, hingga tempat-tempat umumnya ada keramaian atau pelayanan publik. mobile hand washer (MHW) mengunakan sistem pedal air dan sabun, sehingga penguna tidak perlu menyetuh kran air dan menekan tombol sabun untuk menghidar kontak yang rentan terhdap virus dan penyakit.

Abstract

Kapal Motor Jelatik merupakan kapal penumpang milik perusahaan PT. Putri Riau Sejati dengan kapsitas 205 Gross Tonage memiliki panjang 34,5 meter, lebar 6,9 m, dan tinggi 2,2 meter, dengan total crew 14 orang dan 194 orang penumpang kapal ini beroperasi daerah pelayaran terbatas yang melayani rute Selatpanjang ke Pekanbaru. Sesuai Peraturan Mentri Perbubungan No 61 tahun 2019 kapal penumpang wajib memiliki Fire Control and Safety Plan. Adapun cakupan pembahasan dalam Fire Control and Safety Plan, yaitu perencanaan  jumlah  dan  peletakan  Life-Saving  Appliances  (LSA),  membuat  perencanaan  sistem  proteksi  dan pemadaman kebakaran, serta perencanaan rute evakuasi yang efektif dan cepat ketika keadaan darurat. Langkah-langkah yang dilakukan  dalam penelitian ini adalah merancang  Fire  Control  and  Safety  Plan,  yaitu  merancang  kebutuhan  LSA,  merancang sistem proteksi kebakaran, serta menentukan rute evakuasi dan menghitung kebutuhan waktu evakuasi mengacu pada regulasi SOLAS,  LSA  Code, FSS  Code, IMO, NCVS Indonesia, dan BKI. Hasil penelitian menyebutkan bahwa Kapal Jelatik wajib menyediakan 26 rigid life craft, 234 unit lifejacket dan 24 lifejacket anak-anak, 6 unit lifebuoy, 6 unit hand flares, 2 unit line towing appliance, 4 unit smoke signal, 8 unit parachute flares, 8 unit APAR, 9 unit Detektor, 1 unit co2 Bottle 2 unit sprinkler di kamar mesin, 2 unit pilar, hydrant dan 7 unit space monitored by smoke. Waktu evakuasi yang dibutuhkan dalam keadaan darutat untuk mengevakuasi seluruh penumpang dan crew kapal case 1 adalah selama 47,95 detik dan case 2 adalah 41,7 detik.

Abstract

Referring to the Indonesian Minister of Transportation Regulation No. PM 7 of 2019 and IMO regulations onthe use of AIS devices, it is stated that AIS devices must be installed on passenger ships, cargo ships with a minimum sizeof 35GT, and fishing vessels of at least 60GT. However, smaller vessels under 60GT are also highly recommended to equipAIS devices to enhance maritime safety and security. This recommendation is based on several maritime accidentsinvolving traditional fishing vessels, which often lack safety equipment such as navigation tools and AIS devices.Therefore, the role of AIS devices is crucial for the safety of fishermen at sea, especially in preventing ship collisions,illegal fishing, and supporting SAR (Search and Rescue) operations. The high cost of AIS equipment presents a challengefor small-scale fishermen to afford these devices. This research aims to develop a more affordable alternative AIS devicebased on Lora technology, which offers similar functionality to standard AIS devices. The developed Lora Transpondercan also be integrated with the existing AIS-POLBENG system, thereby facilitating monitoring activities and providingearly warnings of potential hazards during sailing activities to traditional fishing vessels equipped with the device. Thesystem implementation results show that the Early Warning System operates as expected. The maximum coverage of AISTransponder data transmission is 49.87 Nautical Miles (92.36 Km). On the other hand, 3 units of lora transponder deviceshave successfully sent sensor and location data to the gateway every 30 seconds with the device set at class C andrecommended using binary format for more efficiency.

Abstract

Ship stability is a critical factor in the operation of a catamaran, especially when facing various sea conditions. The catamaran H-192, recently acquired by PT XY, is used as a case study in this research to assess its stability and response to operational and environmental conditions. Stability criteria based on Annex 7 of the High-Speed Craft (HSC) Code are used as the evaluation standard. This research aims to evaluate the stability and response of the catamaran H-192 under various operational and environmental conditions. The primary focus is to ensure that the vessel meets and exceeds the stability criteria set by Annex 7 and to understand how the vessel behaves in real-world situations. The methods used in this research include stability calculations based on Annex 7 and model design using Maxsurf software. The calculations involve the analysis of the righting lever (GZ), metacentric height (GM), and other stability criteria. Operational data and load distribution are analyzed to determine the draft, trim, and stability of the vessel under various loading conditions. The results show that the catamaran H-192 not only meets but also exceeds the stability criteria set by Annex 7. The high values of righting lever (GZ) and metacentric height (GM) at various angles of heel indicate excellent transverse and longitudinal stability. The evaluation of intact stability criteria shows that all parameters achieve "PASS" status, indicating the vessel's capability to handle combinations of heeling forces due to wind, high-speed maneuvering, and passenger crowding very well. The analysis of both full and empty operational conditions shows balanced load distribution and maintained stability.

Abstract

The Polbeng Research Vessel is a ship that will be built by Politeknik Negeri Bengkalis (Polbeng) in collaboration with CV. Fatih Bahari Engineering. This vessel is made of High Density Polythene (HDPE) plastic, with the main dimensions of the ship: length (LOA) is 9 metres, breadth (B) is 2.2 metres, height (H) is 1.2 metres, and it uses an 85 HP outboat engine. This vessel's comfort study was conducted to see the ship's performance against equipment and humans in supporting research activities carried out by Polbeng. There are 4 cases in the study where there are 2 wave heights, namely 0.2 metres and 0.4 metres; each wave height is taken from 2 directions of waves hitting the ship, namely the beam seas direction (900) and the head seas direction (1800). There are 3 motions analysed, namely heave, roll, and pitch movements. The results of the ship's motion show that the roll motion in the Beam Seas wave direction has a more significant motion when compared to other motions. The analysis results show that the motion is in accordance with the theory that small ships for roll motions have shorter turnaround arms. Overall, this ship's motion is still common and meets the ship's comfort criteria based on the criteria issued by NORDFORSK 1987, STANAG 4154, U.S. Coast Guard (USCG), ISO 2631/1, ISO 2631/3, and BS. 6841:1987

Abstract

Latar belakang: Aedes merupakan genus nyamuk yang berasal dari daerah tropis dan subtropis, Aedes berperan menularkan demam berdarah dengue. Aedes Aegypti merupakan vektor utama penyebab DBD. Adanya kejadian DBD bisa disebabkan karena kepadatan larva Aedes spp yang terdapat di wilayah tersebut. Tujuan: Penelitian ini adalah mengetahui hubungan kepadatan larva Aedes spp dengan kejadian DBD di Kecamatan Sukarami Kota Palembang. Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan observasi analitik dengan pendekatan kasus kontrol. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 168 orang. Sampel diambil dengan metode Total Sampling untuk kelompok kasus dan multistage random sampling untuk kelompok kontrol. Data disajikan dalam bentuk tabel distribusi frekuensi dan dianalisis statistik dengan uji chi-square dengan derajat kepercayaan 95%. Hasil: Dari 168 subyek penelitian, kelompok kasus yang memiliki kepadatan larva tinggi 23 rumah (41,1%) dan kepadatan larva rendah 33 rumah (58,9%), sedangkan kelompok kontrol yang memiliki kepadatan larva Tinggi 64 rumah (57,1%) dan kepadatan larva rendah 48 rumah (42,9%). Uji chi square menunjukkan tidak terdapat hubungan yang bermakna p=0,113(>p=0,05) antara kepadatan larva Aedes spp dengan kejadian DBD di  Kecamatan Sukarami Kota Palembang. Saran: Bagi masyarakat, perlu meminimalisir tempat penampungan Air didalam rumah karena nyamuk Aedes Aegypti lebih cenderung berkembang biak didalam rumah, Perlunya meningkatkan kegiatan sanitasi lingkungan khususnya ditujukan pada pemutusan rantai perkembangbiakan larva dan nyamuk Aedes Aegypti, misalnya dengan penggunaan abate, kegiatan 3M (menguras dan menutup tempat penampungan air serta mengubur kaleng bekas) serta pemeliharaan ikan tempalo.Kata Kunci: Kepadatan Larva Aedes SPP, Kejadian DBD

Abstract

This study presents a strategic decision-making framework for portfolio investment by applying computational risk assessment methods to the transportation sector in Indonesia. Focusing on two key players—PT. Adi Sarana Tbk (ASSA) and PT. Blue Bird Tbk (BIRD)—the research evaluates their individual and combined risk-return profiles using daily stock return data from December 2023 to November 2024. A hybrid analytical approach is employed, integrating traditional financial metrics with advanced computational techniques such as Monte Carlo simulation and Value at Risk (VaR) modeling to support managerial decision-making. The analysis reveals contrasting performance patterns: BIRD exhibits marginally positive expected returns (0.04%) but higher downside risk exposure, whereas ASSA shows negative average returns (-0.06%) yet demonstrates lower volatility and reduced extreme loss potential. Portfolio optimization results demonstrate that a diversified allocation of 60% ASSA and 40% BIRD generates improved risk-adjusted returns, achieving a positive expected return while maintaining lower overall risk compared to the individual assets. By incorporating monetary VaR estimates, this study enhances the practical relevance of risk analytics for portfolio managers, particularly in navigating volatile emerging markets. The findings underscore the importance of strategic asset allocation, business model differentiation, and quantitative risk modeling in constructing resilient investment portfolios. This research contributes both methodologically and managerially by offering a robust, replicable framework for strategic decision analysis in transportation asset management and beyond.

Abstract

This study presents a systematic sensitivity analysis of key hydrostatic parameters, keel to buoyancy distance (KB), metacentric radius (BM), and metacentric height (GM), with respect to incremental changes in displacement for the Mini Borneo barge. Utilizing only the vessel’s official stability booklet data, natural cubic splines were fitted to the discrete hydrostatic tables to reconstruct continuous functions for each parameter over the displacement range of 256.6 t to 1641.0 t. First derivative functions were then derived analytically and cross-validated via centered finite difference, enabling high-resolution evaluation of &part;KB/&part;&Delta;, &part;BM/&part;&Delta;, and &part;GM/&part;&Delta; at 0.01 t increments. Results indicate that KB sensitivity peaks at a moderate load of approximately 436.6 t (0.00045 m/t), whereas BM and GM sensitivities reach their maxima at full-load conditions near 1641.0 t (0.00086 m/t and 0.00092 m/t, respectively). Critical displacement intervals were identified around these peaks, highlighting narrow bands where small weight additions most profoundly affect stability. These findings inform the definition of safe-loading envelopes and ballast-management strategies, providing practical thresholds to maintain regulatory stability margins without the need for additional sea trials. The methodology is readily generalizable to other small craft equipped with hydrostatic booklets..
