Abstract

This study presents the design of an energy-saving lamp with an automatic system using LDR (Light Dependent Resistor) sensors. The LDR sensor acts as a light regulator based on its resistance value, influenced by the received light intensity. The sensor activates when there is a slight increase in the received light. This sensor is used in combination with lamps to enable automatic operation, relying on sunlight as an essential aspect. The sensor-controlled lamps remain off during the day and turn on automatically at night due to reduced sunlight. The installation of these sensor-based lamps is implemented in guard posts within residential areas and mushollah to significantly contribute to efficient illumination in the surrounding areas. The benefits of these sensor-based lamps alleviate the need for manual activation by the guards as the lamps function automatically with the integrated sensor system.

Abstract

Madrasah Aliyah Sumber Bungur Pakong Pamekasan has implemented a peer tutoring strategy in the class X Aqidah Morals subject which has an impact on student learning achievement. There are two main problems in this research. First, the effectiveness of using peer tutoring strategies can increase student achievement in the class X Aqidah Morals subject. Second, supporting and inhibiting factors in the use of peer tutoring strategies in improving student learning achievement in the class X Aqidah Akhlak subject. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach. The research results were obtained in the form of descriptive data. Meanwhile, the data sources for this research are Aqidah Akhlak subject teachers, and also class X students, both Mathematics and Natural Sciences and Social Sciences. The data analysis was carried out using a qualitative descriptive method, namely reducing, presenting, and verifying the data. The results of research conducted by researchers relate to the use of peer tutoring strategies in improving student learning achievement in the Aqidah Akhlak class X subject. The peer tutoring strategy selects superior, intelligent, and accomplished students to become tutors. Previously, the teacher explained the material first to the tutor so that it was easy to master the material grid when carrying out the tutorial. While tutoring activities are taking place, the teacher supervises and evaluates by giving independent assignments. The use of peer tutoring strategies in subjects in class X turned out to be very effective in improving student learning achievement. Students are more enthusiastic about improving their learning achievements and interact more easily with tutors. Its effectiveness seems to be increasing, the average score is perfect, namely 86 or A. So, the peer tutoring strategy has an effect on learning achievement, initially the score was equivalent to the KKM (Minimum Completeness Criteria) score, namely B and only part of the students mastered the material. However, after peer tutoring, the achievement exceeded the KKM, namely A. This achievement was strengthened by the even distribution of high scores among all students from each class. The supporting factors are that students are more enthusiastic about learning and have easier interactions. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factor in using peer tutoring strategies is internal factors with a lack of awareness among students of the importance of the subject matter. Meanwhile, external factors include inadequate facilities and infrastructure to support the learning process.

Abstract

In this extensive study, we thoroughly analyzed educational dynamics within the context of an economic crisis, primarily focusing on the intricate interplay among social, economic, and policy factors. Our research aimed to understand how these factors intersected and collectively influenced educational access, quality, and well-being during economic turmoil. The research methodology encompassed a comprehensive review of existing literature, empirical data collection through surveys and interviews, and quantitative analysis of educational outcomes across diverse economic conditions. Policy interventions were pivotal in shaping education's response to the economic crisis. Targeted measures, such as increased funding for low-income schools and initiatives supporting educators, proved effective in mitigating the adverse effects of economic downturns on education. Qualitative data underscored the invaluable role of social capital and community resilience in supporting education during challenging times. Communities with active social networks and robust community organizations supported students and educators. Our findings unveiled a multifaceted landscape marked by both challenges and opportunities. Notably, the economic crisis disproportionately impacted marginalized populations, leading to widening disparities in educational outcomes. Access to educational resources was severely disrupted, particularly in disadvantaged regions, exacerbating pre-existing inequalities. Moreover, the psychological well-being of students and educators emerged as a crucial aspect of educational quality, with rising stress and anxiety influencing the learning environment.

Abstract

The agricultural sector of Sinjai Regency shows significant vulnerability to climate change, especially the El Nino phenomenon. It was recorded that hundreds of hectares of agricultural land were damaged. The main objective of this research is to comprehensively identify and analyze the impact of El Niño on agricultural land damage in Sinjai Regency. In addition, this research aims to formulate policy recommendations and concrete actions that can be taken by the government and other stakeholders to reduce the negative impact of El Niño. This research uses a qualitative approach. Data was collected through interviews, documentation and field observations. The use of NVivo 12 Plus analysis tools is also maximized. These findings confirm that El Niño has caused significant damage to agricultural land in Sinjai Regency, with 13 hectares experiencing puso or total crop failure, as well as 244 hectares of light damage, 137 hectares of moderate damage, and 50 hectares of heavy damage. This damage has a direct impact on agricultural productivity and food security, threatening farmer incomes and local food supplies. To deal with this impact, the government has implemented adaptive policies such as mapping affected locations, providing clean water, distributing food aid, and supporting farmer groups. Going forward, the government needs to strengthen weather monitoring systems, develop water management infrastructure, improve training for farmers, and strengthen partnerships between various parties to reduce the impact of El Niño and repair land damage.

Abstract

This paper will trace the context of the parable in the Qur'an (amtsal al-Qur'an) by highlighting the criteria clearly of the amtsal described in the Qur'an. In addition, comparing the qur'anic amtsal between the kaminah amtsal and the mursalah amtsal which is not explicitly explained regarding its criteria as  the qur'an amtsal but by scholars has a contestation that amtsal mursalah falls into the category of amtsal. Some scholars say it does not fall into the realm of amtsal.  However, other scholars are not an obstacle when one wants to make the Qur'an an amtsal. Because the Quran essentially wants to be read, studied, recited until its mentadabburi. This paper uses library research with Mahmud Syahata's theory that the Qur'an shows its miracles through language style (asalib) which explains with a variety of meanings and wisdom for humans, both sensory and non-sensable, visible or not, contemporary problems to ukhrawi problems as a way to get mau'idzah hasanah.  The author's provisional finding that the variety  of amtsals of the Qur'an is essentially something that opens the horizons of human thought not to leave the Qur'an and continue to study it as a way to see the current context that cannot be separated from the image that Allah narrates in the Qur'an.
