Abstract

The research based on the phenomenon that indicates Madrasah Tsanawiyah’s  teachers in Samarinda has a good performance when their headmaster lead them effectively and supervision of functional agencies. The purpose of this research are: (a) to describe the quality of the leadership of headmasters of Madrasah Tsanawiyah, (b) to describe   the quality of educational supervision of Madrasah Tsanawiyah, (c) to describe the quality of the teachers performance of Madrasah Tsanawiyah, (d) to find out the influence of  headmasters’ leadership  on the teachers performance of Madrasah Tsanawiyah partially, (e) to find out the influence of education supervision on the teachers performance of Madrasah Tsanawiyah partially, and (f) to find out the influence of headmasters’ leadership  and education supervision on the teachers performance of Madrasah Tsanawiyah  in Samarinda simultaneously. The entire study population Madrasah Tsanawiyah teachers of Samarinda amount  629 people, while the sample are 76 teachers  applied multi - stage sampling technique. Determination of madrasah through purposive sampling technique, whereas the selection of respondents conducted through random sampling technique. Data collection used questionnaire techniques, while the data analysis techniques used Multiple Linier Regression Analysis. The result of this research concluded as follows. The headmasters’ leadership based teachers’ assessment are categorized as good (μ= 4,09), while the implementation of education supervision are in good category (μ = 3,92), and the teachers’ performance  are in good category (μ = 4,01). Partial leadership has a strong influence on the teachers’ performance of Madrasah Tsanawiyah (r= 0.73). The headmasters’ leadership contributed 54.6 % to the effect for improving the quality of teachers performance. Partial implementation of educational supervision has a strong influence on the teacher performance of Madrasah Tsanawiyah (r = 0.72). Implementation of educational supervision contributed 53% to the effect  for improving the quality of teacher performance. Headmasters’ leadership and implementation of educational supervision simultaneously have a strong influence on the teachers performance of Madrasah Tsanawiyah  (r = 0.74). Headmasters’ leadership and implementation of educational supervision contributied  56.1 % for improving  the quality of teacher performance.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui implementasi budaya “Satu Tungku Tiga Batu” dalam membangun nilai toleransi pada anak usia dini di Bumi Papua. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif fenomenologi. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Penentuan sampel narasumber dengan purposive sampling dengan kriteria tertentu yang memenuhi kebutuhan data. Analisis data dengan model Miles and Huberman dengan pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan dan verifikasi. Model penyajian data dengan menampilkan tema dan sub tema yang membangun kerangka hasil temuan nilai toleransi. Hasil penelitian menemukan penerapan nilai toleransi pada anak usia dini terbentuk melalui tiga agama yang menjadi satu, kehidupan yang hangat tanpa kekerasan, satu saudara berbeda agama, kebersamaan di hari raya, belajar dan mengamalkan toleransi, modeling dan interaksi sosial.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan  untuk mendapatkan gambaran mengenai kualitas kinerja guru Madrasah Tsanawiyah di Samarinda, dan memetakan kinerja guru tersebut berdasarkan masa kerja, jenjang pendidikan, dan status kepegawaian guru. Populasi penelitian guru Madrasah Tsanawiyah Samarinda berjumlah 629 guru, kemudian diambil sampel sebanyak 76 guru menggunakan teknik multi-stage sampling. Pengumpulan data menggunakan questionare model skala likert. Analisis data menggunakan teknik deskriptif untuk menggambarkan kualitas  kinerja guru madrasah dalam proses pembelajaran, dan Analysis of Varian (ANOVA) untuk memetakan kinerja guru berdasarkan masa kerja, jenjang pendidikan,  dan status kepegawaian. Hasil penelitian disimpulkan, bahwa para guru Madrasah Tsanawiyah di Samarinda memiliki kinerja yang baik. Kinerja guru berdasarkan masa kerja terdapat perbedaan secara signifikan, dalam arti guru yang memiliki masa kerja lebih lama menunjukkan kinerja lebih baik dibandingkan guru dengan masa kerja lebih pendek. Kinerja guru berdasarkan jenjang pendidikan tidak berbeda secara signifikan. Kinerja guru menurut status kepegawaian juga tidak menunjukkan adanya perbedaan yang  signifikan.

Abstract

Islamic Religious Education is an undergraduate education study program, intended as a teacher training program. Teacher quality can also be influenced by the curriculum followed by the Religion teacher during his undergraduate studies. Evaluation of the curriculum of the Islamic Religious Education Study Program is an interesting matter to discuss about qualitative data collection techniques. The purpose of this research is to analyze and find out the qualitative data analysis techniques used in the Islamic Religious Education Study Program and the analytical procedures at each tertiary institution in East Kalimantan. The results of this study indicate that the Islamic Religious Education study program at tertiary institutions in Samarinda City and Kutai Kartanegara Regency both use descriptive methods in obtaining qualitative data when evaluating their curriculum, especially on learning items. Then the analysis technique used for the descriptive data is qualitative data analysis of the Milles, Hubarmen and Saldana interactive model, while the City of Balikpapan uses content analysis, because it uses data in the form of documents as single data.

Abstract

The application of evaluation in education has many benefits, this is evident by the benefits provided both to teachers, policy users, parents and also the community, as a process of evaluating and measuring effectiveness in the implementation of education that has been implemented. One of the evaluation models commonly applied in education is the CIPP (Context-Input-Process-Product) model developed by Stufflebeam. It is hoped that this research can examine more deeply the implementation of the evaluation of the CIPP model in education. This study used a pure library research method with an analytical descriptive approach. The implementation of the CIPP model in education includes 4 stages or evaluation objects, First, Context Evaluation which includes the concept of goals, objectives and implementation planning; Second, Input Evaluation, which includes a thorough evaluation regarding the availability of resources and potential in program implementation; Third, Process Evaluation, which includes compliance with planning, maximizing resources, process constraints and others; Fourth, Product Evaluation, which includes the results of program implementation by reviewing reports and assessments of each related element and providing recommendations on program implementation.

Abstract

Artikel ini mendeskripsikan alasan keturunan Tionghoa mengundang pemuka agama islam ketika syukuran, dan mengulas dasar pelaksanaan tradisi syukuran jika ditinjau dari konsep moderasi beragama keturunan Tionghoa di kota Samarinda. Penelitian ini bersifat kualitatif dengan menggunakan triangulasi sumber sebagai uji validitas. Dalam penelitian ini diperoleh bahwa keturunan Tionghoa memilih pemuka agama islam dalam memimpin pembacaan doa dalam acara syukuran adalah menciptakan rasa damai dan tenang dengan harapan terwujudnya toleransi di kota Samarinda. Kerjasama di bidang ekonomi antara pengusaha islam dengan pengusaha keturunan Tionghoa yang terkait dengan Syarikat Islam dan Paguyuban Guang Dong menginisiasi kegiatan lintas agama dimulai dari hal terkecil yang dapat mereka lakukan yaitu melalui tradisi syukuran. Moderasi beragama yang dibangun oleh keturunan Tionghoa adalah toleransi beragama yang berwujud “Pengakuan atas keberadaan pihak lain”. Di negara-negara mayoritas Muslim, sikap moderasi itu minimal meliputi: pengakuan atas keberadaan pihak lain, pemilikan sikap toleran, penghormatan atas perbedaan pendapat, dan tidak memaksakan kehendak dengan cara kekerasan. Hal ini berdasarkan pada ayat-ayat al- Quran, antara lain menghargai kemajemukan dan kemauan berinteraksi (QS. al- Hujurât: 13).

Abstract

Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah berawal dari keputusan Kemendikbud Ristek Nomor 162/M/2021 terkait program sekolah penggerak. Saat pandemi, pemerintah merancang program pendidikan untuk menyesuaikan kondisi dan perkembangan zaman. Mutu pendidikan sangat penting dalam mencerdaskan kehidupan bangsa dan menjadi ujung tombak untuk memajukan Negara khususnya Indonesia. Dalam hal ini, untuk meningkatkan mutu pendidikan maka diadakanlah program sekolah penggerak yang dimana sekolah ini merupakan sekolah terpilih khususnya di Kecamatan Samarinda Seberang yaitu SD Muhammadiyah 3 dan SD Islam Ar Rajwaa. Kepala sekolah dan guru merupakan ujung tombak dalam pelaksanaanya. Oleh karena itu, kepemimpinan kepala sekolah yang baik dan motivasi kerja guru yang tinggi sangat dibutuhkan dalam melaksanakan program sekolah penggerak ini agar bisa terlaksana dengan baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat pengaruh kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan motivasi kerja terhadap pelaksanaan program sekolah penggerak di SD Islam Se-Kecamatan Samarinda Seberang. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa angket (kuisoner) dan dokumentasi. Uji keabsahan data yang digunakan yaitu uji validitas dan reliabilitas. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan oleh peneliti uji regresi linear berganda dan uji f. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu seluruh guru di SD Islam Ar-Rajwaa dan SD Muhammadiyah 3 Samarinda yang berjumlah 49 orang. Dalam penelitian ini yang menjadi sampel adalah seluruh populasi yang berjumlah 49 orang dengan menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa nilai nilai Fhitung > Ftabel yaitu 67,291 > 3,19 yang artinya Ha diterima yang menyatakan bahwa variabel X1 (kepemimpinan kepala sekolah) dan X2 (motivasi kerja guru) berpengaruh terhadap variabel Y (pelaksanaan program sekolah penggerak). Nilai rx1x2y yaitu 0,745 termasuk dalam interpretasi pada skala 0,700-0,900 artinya terdapat pengaruh yang “kuat”, sebesar 74,4%.

Abstract

This study investigated whether self-regulation, self-evaluation, and self-efficacy can predict students’ employability levels, either simultaneously or partially. Researchers used class XII students of Muhammadiyah 1 Bambanglipuro Vocational High School, Indonesia with the criteria of having implemented industrial work practices (N=433) as research subjects. The sample consisted of 168 students obtained randomly by cluster sampling technique. Likert model scale as the main instrument in obtaining empiric data to answer the research hypothesis using multiple regression techniques with the help of the SPSS V.23 program. Based on the results of the analysis, it is known that self-regulation, self-evaluation, and self-efficacy have a very significant effect on the level of employability (F=134.28 and sig.=.000). Partially, each independent variable (self-regulation, self-evaluation, and self-efficacy) also has a very significant effect on employability with statistical values (t) obtained at 11.54, 3.24, 7.99 and sig. level of .000, .001, .000. These findings provide evidence that self-originating factors (self-regulation, self-evaluation, and self-efficacy) are sufficiently capable of increasing employability. Thus, it can be concluded that internal factors are one of the critical factors in predicting the employability of vocational students.

Abstract

The purpose of this study 1). To dive deeper into the role of the madrasah committee in efforts to improve the quality of education at MTs Negeri Kutai Barat and MAN Kutai Barat. 2). To dive deeper into the supporting and inhibiting factors of the role of the madrasah committee in efforts to improve the quality of education at MTs Negeri Kutai Barat and MAN Kutai Barat. This study used a qualitative approach with a phenomenological type, using interview data collection, observation and documentation, data analysis using the Miles, Huberman and Saldana analysis model techniques. The results of the study found that there were similarities and differences in the involvement of madrasah committees at MTs Negeri Kutai Barat and MAN Kutai Barat in terms of planning work programs. The similarities are; (1) at the beginning of every year to prepare a work program, (2) Planning is carried out for one year, (3) involving the head of the madrasa, teachers, education staff, committees, student guardians, and other related parties. Then the difference is that the Head of MTs Negeri Kutai Barat involves the Madrasah Committee in preparing the madrasah budget while the MAN Kutai Barat committee is not involved. The MTs Negeri Kutai Barat Committee is actively involved in repairing facilities and infrastructure such as repairing the paint of the madrasa building, making parking areas, etc. which are arranged in every work program planning meeting and funding is taken from the student's guardian routine fees of Rp. 30,000 for the payment of teachers' fees and others, while the MAN Kutai Barat committee is involved in improving facilities and infrastructure only conditionally, not routinely and is planned. The evaluation at the end of each year carried out by the two Madrasah Committees is a form of their responsibility for the programs that have been planned and implemented so that future improvements can be made and can contribute to improving the quality of education in each madrasah. Abstrak Tujuan penelitian ini 1). Untuk menyelami lebih dalam bagaimana peran komite madrasah dalam upaya meningkatkan mutu pendidikan di MTs Negeri Kutai Barat dan MAN Kutai Barat. 2). Untuk menyelami lebih dalam apa saja faktor pendukung dan penghambat dari peran komite madrasah dalam upaya meningkatkan mutu pendidikan di MTs Negeri Kutai Barat dan MAN Kutai Barat. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis fenomenologi, menggunakan pengumpulan data wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi, analisis data menggunakan Teknik model analisis Miles, Huberman dan Saldana. Hasil penelitian menemukan ada persamaan dan perbedaan keterlibatan komite madrasah di MTs Negeri Kutai Barat dan MAN Kutai Barat dalam hal perencanaan program kerja. Persamaannya adalah; (1) setiap awal tahun melakukan penyusunan program kerja, (2) Perencanaan dilakukan selama satu tahun, (3) melibatkan kepala madrasah, guru, tenaga kependidikan, komite, wali siswa, dan pihak-pihak terkait. Kemudian perbedaannya adalah Kepala MTs Negeri Kutai Barat melibatkan Komite Madrasah dalam penyusunan anggaran belanja madrasah sedangkan komite MAN Kutai Barat tidak dilibatkan. Komite MTs Negeri Kutai Barat terlibat aktif dalam perbaikan sarana dan prasarana seperti perbaikan cat gedung madrasah, pembuatan area parkir, dan lain-lain yang disusun dalam setiap rapat perencanaan program kerja serta pendanaan yang diambil dari iuran rutin wali siswa sebesar Rp. 30.000 untuk pembayaran honor guru dan lain-lain, sedangkan komite MAN Kutai Barat keterlibatannya dalam perbaikan sarana dan prasarana hanya kondional saja, tidak rutin dan disusun dalam perencanaan. Evaluasi setiap akhir tahun yang dilakukan oleh kedua Komite Madrasah adalah bentuk tanggung jawab mereka terhadap program yang sudah direncanakan dan dilaksanakan agar bisa dilakukan perbaikan kedepannya dan dapat memberikan sumbangsih peningkatan mutu pendidikan di masing-masing madrasah

Abstract

This research departs from the learning problems of Islamic Religious Education which are caused by low motivation and student learning outcomes. The strategies used include Active Learning. This research aims to determine whether there is an influence of active learning strategies on students’ motivation and learning outcomes. This quantitative research used a survey approach and a comparative causal design. The population were students in grade VIII at SMPN 2 Samarinda, SMPN 9 Samarinda, SMPN 7 Samarinda, and SMPN 14 Samarinda. This research used purposive sampling. The data collection techniques are a questionnaire and documentation, while the data analysis technique is a MANOVA test. The research results show that there is an influence of Active Learning strategies on the motivation and learning outcomes of Islamic Religious Education in Samarinda Middle School. The hypothesis is accepted by using Hotelling's Trace analysis with a strong influence.
