Abstract

Drinking Water Depot Sanitation Hygiene is a health effort that reduces or eliminates factors that cause pollution to drinking water, handlers, and equipment used that may cause health problems. Based on data from the Pekanbaru City Health Service in 2020, the number of water depots in Pekanbaru City is 666 depots. In the District of Tenayan Raya there are 35 water depots under the auspices of the Rejosari Health Center spread over 6 villages. The purpose of this study is to analyze the sanitation hygiene of drinking water depots in the working area of the Rejosari Health Center in 2022. This type of research is qualitative with a qualitative descriptive. This research was conducted in July 2022 in the Rejosari Health Center Work Area, Pekanbaru City. Collected data using in-depth interviews and observations to 10 informants consisting of 1 healthty officer, 3 owners, 3 workers, 3 consumers. The results of this study indicate that the water depot in the working area of the Rejosari Health Center does not meet the hygiene and sanitation requirements, because the depot is made very simple which should have its own laundry room, its own filling room and space for its own transportation. Equipment such as gallon cleaning brushes have fallen out, the ceiling and paint of the depot have faded due to water seepage, the handlers have never checked their health at the health facilities, this causes it to be unknown whether the handlers have infectious diseases. It is hoped that the Puskesmas will provide guidance to the depot if the sanitation conditions of the place, production equipment, and employee hygiene are not in good condition.

Abstract

The Coronavirus-19 (Covid-19) pandemic requires people to behave cleanly and healthily to increase the need for clean drinking water. Based on a survey conducted by the Bengkalis District Health Office, it was found that 55% of the people used drinking water from refill depots. The purpose of this study was to determine the Sanitation Hygiene of Drinking Water Depots during the Covid-19 Pandemic in Bengkalis, Riau. This research method is a quantitative descriptive analysis using secondary data from the Bengkalis Health Service for a depot that has sanitation requirements for drinking water depots according to the reference. The research location is in Bengkalis District with a sample of 40 drinking water depots and analyzed for four parameters of drinking water depot sanitation inspection: place, equipment, handlers, and drinking water quality standard certificates. Sanitation hygiene inspection was obtained for the parameters of the place, equipment, and handlers with 100% achievement and only 25% certificate of water quality standard and proper hygiene. It is necessary to innovate drinking water treatment technology for drinking water sources that are healthy, guaranteed, cheap, and free from disease and to support the PHBS and STMB programs during the Covid-19 period.

The research objective was to find the relationship between Human Factors and the Home Environment on the Occurrence of Tuberculosis in the Working Area of Rejosari Health Center, Pekanbaru municipality. Method: The design type is a case-control study. The case and control population were taken from January 2018 to June 2020. The case sample (223) was taken from its population (255) and the control sample (223) was taken from its population (566) by systematic random sampling. Data collection through structured interviews using a questionnaire containing the closed-ended question, and using univariate, bivariate, and multiple logistic regression analysis. Results: there are 8 independent variables related starting from the most dominant, namely age OR=2.8 (95% CI: 1.58-5.00), BCG immunization OR=2.2 (95% CI:1.35-3.63), space humidity OR = 2.2 (95% CI: 1,42-3,31), ventilation area OR = 1.7 (95% CI: 1,12-2,64), gender OR = 1.7 (95% CI: 1,12-2,64), asset ownership OR = 2.9 (95% CI: 1.45-6.03), history of household contacts OR = 2.7 (95% CI: 1.73-4.22) and occupancy density OR = 2 (95% CI: 1.31-3.10). The OR value on the interaction variable (sex with age) indicates that productive-age men are 4.32 times riskier in suffering TB than productive-age women. Recommendation: TB prevention should be conducted through intervention by increasing BCG vaccination coverage, fulfilling space humidity, ventilation area, and occupancy density, and isolating household contact, especially for productive age, men, and low logistic ownership families. Suggestions are formulated based on recommendations.

Abstract

The use of PPE is one of the problems in the world of work. This can increase the level of risk of loss, both material and non-material. In general, companies have implemented an OHS management system, in which there are also provisions for the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). However, in reality PPE is not always worn when working, many workers are found who do not use PPE. Compliance with the use of personal protective equipment is a person's attitude in following the rules set by the organization to protect part or all of the body from the dangers of work-related accidents and diseases. Based on the initial survey, it was found that there were 17 employees who did not comply with using personal protective equipment. The purpose of this study was to analyze factors related to Compliance with the Use of Personal Protective Equipment for employees in the production section at PT Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur TBK Noodle Division Pekanbaru. The method in this study used a quantitative approach with a Case Control research design with a total a sample of 34 people. The research was conducted from August to September 2021. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire using the Google form. Data analysis was carried out using univariate, bivariate and multivariate. The analysis technique used is multiple logistic regression using the SPSS program. Based on the results of the study there is a significant relationship between attitude variables, availability of personal protective equipment, supervision, age and years of service with adherence to the use of personal protective equipment. The most dominant factor in this research is attitude. Suggestions for PT Indofood CBC Sukses Makmur are to form regulations, carry out strict inspections and sanctions for employees who are not disciplined in using personal protective equipment, and provide rewards for employees who comply in using personal protective equipment (PPE).

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic requires us to limit physical interaction and contact to avoid the transmission of Covid-19. This restriction also applies to the learning process in schools, so that learning from becomes an option. Evaluation of ineffective online learning requires face-to-face learning to be carried out by students. On the other hand, the readiness of schools to implement face-to-face school health protocols is also still experiencing obstacles. This study aims to evaluate the Application of Health Protocols During the Covid-19 Pandemic Period at 003 Pasenggerahan State Elementary School. This evaluation research uses a qualitative approach, where researchers evaluate the implementation of education during the COVID-19 pandemic at SDN 003 Pesangrahan. The results of the study illustrate that administrative readiness has been fulfilled, the readiness of supporting facilities and equipment has been complete. In addition, the development of health protocol habits has been carried out, as well as sustainability efforts have also been carried out well. The conclusion from the research, administratively and technically, limited face-to-face school requirements can be done at SDN 003 Pasenggarahan. Suggestions can be given to managers to form a Covid-19 task force, rather that limited face-to-face education can be monitored continuously.
